Abstract

Kegiatan berbahasa mencakup kegiatan yang produktif dan reseptif di dalam Keterampilan berbahasa yang mencakup aspek mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Empat keterampilan berbahasa ini merupakan keterampilan yang mutlak dikuasai oleh pembelajar ketika belajar bahasa. Karena empat keterampilan berbahasa ini sudah diajarkan berlahan pada saat mulai sekolah dasar sampai di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA tingkat pemula. Melihat bahan ajar yang digunakan, stragi pembelajaran yang dipilih dan ragam media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam menerapkan perencanaan pembelajaran BIPA untuk tingkat pemula atau dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif,  dengan  menggunakan metode triangulasi, yaitu membandingkan dan atau mencocokkan data yang diperoleh dari dokumen bahan ajar, observasi, dan penerapan materi BIPA oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia di STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah pilihan BIPA. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi pengajar dan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah pilihan praktik BIPA.

Abstract

Tawuran di kalangan antarpelajar sering menjadi berita di media masa, baik media cetak maupun media cetak elektronik. Bahkan pada media elektronik aksi tawuran itu sering di tayangkan. Sangat terlihat bahwa nilai harmoni itu telah kritis di kalangan masyarakat. Penyebab tawuran itu ada yang disebabkan oleh perebutan pacar misalnya yang terjadi di kalangan remaja merupakan sesuatu yang tak patut untuk dipermasalahkan. Aksi tawuran dan sejenisnya  bisa membahayakan kesatuan dan persatuan bangsa Indonesia. Jika kita tidak cepat menanggapi keadaan ini bisa saja integritas bangsa dan negara ini terganggu. Minangkabau memiliki peribahasa yang sangat kaya dengan ajaran-ajaran  positif bagi berkehidupan bermasyarakat dan berbangsa. Peribahasa ini merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal yang harus digali atau diteliti dan kemudian hasilnya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembinaan-pembinaan terhadap kepribadian, pembentuk karakter bangsa, terutama generasi muda. Pribahasa Minangkabau ada yang berbentuk bidal, pameo, perumpamaan, sindirian, mamangan, petuah dan sebagainya.Kata kunci: nilai harmoni, pribahasa minangkabau

Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the reaction of readers to the aesthetic value and the effect of communicative contained in the anthology poems Tidak Ada New York Hari Ini the work of M. Aan Mansyur based on the study of the reception of the reader. The aesthetic value and the effect of communicative examined based on the theory of Jauss about the ‘Horizon of Expectations’ that is, the interaction between readers and literary works. This research was a qualitative study using interviews and focus group discussion (FGD) to the students of the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten dan content analysis. The results showed that in the anthology of poetry Tidak Ada New York Hari Ini, poets present aesthetic value through the use of hyperbole, personification, metaphor, irony, and repetition of language so that poetry becomes beautiful. Then, the communicative effect obtained by the reader in the form of entertainment effects, beauty, motivation, and life lessons.Keywords: aesthetic value, communicative effect, anthology of poetry, reader receptions

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the aesthetic idiom of postmodernism in novel “Pilih Sendiri Petualangan Sepatu Merahmu” by Intan Paramaditha. This research is qualitative approach using content analysis. Data are collected by inventory textual quotes that have the aesthetic characteristics of postmodernism pastiche, parody, kitsch, camp, and schizophrenia in the novel. The research results indicatefirst, the aesthetic idiom of pastiche is indicated by duplicate of other texts as a form of author appreciation of existing literary. Second, the aesthetic idiom of parody is indicated by the presence of dialogues that make up other texts in order to criticize pre-existing texts. Thirdly, the kitsch idiom is found in the presence of confusions between high-value and high-text texts aimed at disclosing the high-value text. Fourth, the discovery of female characters who have male physical characteristics without any meaning indicates the existence of camp idiom. Fifth, the idiom of schizophrenia can be found on the whole structure of an irregular novelstory.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTEnglish language is a global language. In order to face the globalization, people have to learn the English language. There are so many ways to develop English vocabulary such as reading bilingual dictionaries, listening to music, speaking to English natives speakers, or even playing games. There some research about learning English by playing games. This research tries to analyze the development of the English vocabulary of the video game players and measure the development either. In this research, the writer made adult players as the target. The writer uses a qualitative method to do this research. Living in the world of technology, the writer decides to use an online questionnaire. Based on the data, there are some characteristics of the video game that develop English vocabulary of the adult players'. The percentage of the English vocabulary development of Clash of Clans game players that is adult players’ is 55%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSosiolinguistik interaksional merupakan salah satu ancangan kajian wacana yang bersandar pada ujaran nyata dalam konteks sosial berdasarkan pandangan Gumperz dan Goffman. Fokus analisisnya terletak pada interpretasi dan interaksi yang didasarkan pada hubungan makna sosial dan makna linguistik. Fokus analisis menggunakan strategi wacana bertutur untuk orang lain, meliputi: peran penutur, makna tuturan (pelurusan, tampilan sosial, tampilan identitas, dan mengambil alih peran mitra tutur. Selain itu, Konteks lokal menjadi bagian penting dari kompetensi komunikatif bagi penutur, salah satunya dalam kelompok masyarakat Minangkabau. Langgam kata menjadi pijakan dalam bertutur. Penutur sangat memperhatikan siapa mitra tuturnya untuk memilih langgam kata yang tepat digunakan dalam bertutur. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud perilaku berkarakter dalam tuturan siswa berlatar belakang budaya Minangkabau. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik interaksional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wujud perilaku berkarakter dalam tuturan siswa berlatar belakang budaya Minangkabau tampak dari tuturan yang disampaikan. Siswa senantiasa memperhatikan mitra tutur supaya dapat memilih langgam kata yang tepat digunakan dalam berutur. Dengan memperhatikan langgam kato nan ampek dalam bertutur akan muncullah karakter masyarakat Minangkabau yang berbicara dengan penuh nasehat, kasih sayang, dan kearifan. Selain itu, menunjukkan jiwa solidaritas, kepedulian, dan rasa tanggung jawab di dalam kehidupan.Kata Kunci: Perilaku Berkarakter, Budaya Minangkabau, Sosiolinguistik InteraksionalABSTRACTInteractional sociolinguistics is one of the approaches of discourse studies that rely on real expressions in the social context based on the views of Gumperz and Goffman. The focus of analysis uses discourse-speaking strategies for others, including: the role of the speaker, the meaning of speech (alignment, social appearance, identity display, and taking over the role of the speaking partner), and the local context becomes an important part of the communicative competence for speakers, group of Minangkabau people, Langgam kata become a foothold in speech The speaker is very concerned about who the partners say to choose the right words used in the speech.Therefore, this article aims to describe the form of characteristic behavior in the student's speech of Minangkabau culture background. is qualitative with interactional sociolinguistic approach.The result of research indicates that the form of characteristic behavior in students' speech of Minangkabau culture background is seen from the speech given The students always pay attention to the said partner so that they can choose the right word is used in berut ur. By observing the style of kato nan ampek in speaking will appear character of Minangkabau people who speak with full advice, compassion, and wisdom. Abstract

Neurolinguistics is the study of how humans acquire language. This study has two objectives, the first objective is to explain which level the phonemes are spoken by respondents the second is to explain the morphemes produced by respondents in speaking. To collect data from this study, researchers used a participatory option personal method, where researchers were actively involved in provoking respondents to talk more. Then the method used is records and techniques noted. Then to analyze this data researchers using the method of distribution / distribution method will be supported by the immediate segmenting constituents technique and basic techniques with the process of adding, dropping and changing, After the data collection and data analysis are considered complete, the results are obtained. The results are the presence of a process of dissolution, change. Immersion that occurs in the research data can occur in all positions, both front, center, and behind the morpheme. Meanwhile, changes also occur in all areas. The most dominant phoneme is obtained in phoneme / r /> / l /. While the phoneme / r / in the antepenultimate position cannot be told by the respondent at all, so there is a breakdown of the phoneme / r /.

Abstract

This article contains a study of lexical metaphors used in the selected poems of Sylvia Plath entitled “Full Fathom Five”, “The Colossus”, “I am Vertical”, “Ariel”, “Lady Lazarus” and “Edge” which focused on representation of sequence changes of death ideas in the poems. This research is conducted by using systemic functional linguistics theory, especially lexical metaphor by Halliday. It is used to look at the data classification of lexical metaphors. As a qualitative descriptive research, it is assisted by using descriptive statisticin doing the analysis. It aims to find out several important formulas such as mean, modus and percentage from the occurence of lexical metaphor. The result of the analysis shows that there are lexical metaphor with noun-noun concept 50.9%, then the concept of noun-verb 38.6% and noun-adjective 10.5%. The dominance of lexical metaphor occurence with noun-noun concept is the representation of death ideas changes in each poem, including death as unacceptable thing, an unavoidable choice, gate for a rebirth and final solution to all life's problems

Abstract

The purposes of this research are : (1) to describes the Indonesia language eror forms on official letters; and (2) the determinant factors of language error forms on official letters of Desa Kaliloka’s, Kecamatan Sirampog, Kabupaten Brebes. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The result of this research are as follows. First, the Indonesian language error forms found on the official letters of Desa Kaliloka’s such as: errors in the field of spellings, morphologies, and syntaxes. Second, the determinant factors of Indonesian language error forms on official letters Desa Kaliloka’s are: a) writing official letters only refers to the village had and sampel letters from the subdistrict; b) the official letter writers more than one person; c) no training about official letter from the local government; and d) ignorance of the existance of KBBI and PUEBI which are the basic guidelines of language.

Abstract

Literature learning in Industrial Revolution 4.0 era must be adaptive to the development of internet-based media. The emergence of social media helped facilitate the expression and appreciation of high school students' literature. The formal education curriculum in high school should have responded to developments in the millennium. This research analyzes the objectives, functions, and teaching material of literature in the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and Curriculum 2013 (K13) at high school level in the digital era. The study was conducted in a qualitative descriptive. Data is obtained through content analysis and structured interviews. Data analysis is interactively. The results of the study show that the objectives, functions, and teaching material of literature in the 2013 KTSP and Curriculum have not optimally responded to the development of digital literature era.
