Abstract

In al-Qur'ân affirmed that God created humans in order to render the final destination or the results of its activities as a dedication to him. Activities are intended by God is summed up in the verses of al-Qur'ân which affirms that man is the vicegerent of Allah (khalifatullah fil `ard). In its status as vicegerent on earth cans, M. Quraish Shihab explained that the man lives in nature got the power or duty of Allah, namely prosperity or building earth in accordance with the concept defined by God. The verses mentioned above, if observed, contains the concept of the meaning of human education. Man as the Caliph of Allah given a very heavy burden. The task can be carried out properly, if people equipped with knowledge, skills and noble personality in accordance with the will of Allah. All of this can be met only through education.

Abstract

Islam puts man in a dimension not only of individuals, but also in the social dimension as a member of a community. It is important for us to be able to give a bright picture of the main components in shaping the society we desire. In fact, some people still displays paradoxical attitudes in the dissemination of the teachings and values ​​of Islam in social intercourse. For that, the basic concept of the Islamic community in fact laid on the principle of balance and harmony. Balance means a harmonious relationship between the vertical and horizontal dimensions, individual and social. global awareness of the resurrection of Islam who was covering the Muslim community today, by reviving the basic values ​​of religion, many believed to be a way out of any slump. Despite the steps limping and panting, the Muslims began to have a deep awareness to develop and memperkasakan themselves as religious people are civilized and progress.

Abstract

Educational planning is closely associated with the structure of society, there are three approaches in planning, namely: social needs approach, the approach of labor, cost effectiveness approach. Planning Education in the Prophet's time is divided into two phases, namely the phase of Makkah and Madinah phase. Planning education in Mecca or before the hijrah was superior in the field of faith and morals in accordance with Islamic values. Planning education in Madinah or after the Hijra was superior in the areas of religious, moral, social, economic, and social, as well as its application in life. Planning and management in the field of Islamic education is difficult to separate from one another. Planning can be seen as a management function, so it is closely related to other functions: organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and assessment. Islamic education planning must be implemented by executing management functions in accordance with such functions.

Abstract

Output or a graduate of a school is said to be good if students excel. And student learning outcomes or achievements of the students is a reflection of the performance of teachers. It is described in the research results Goodblad (1976) that teachers have a significant role for every success in the learning process. The study was later published under the title Behind the Classroom doors explaining that when teachers have entered the classroom and closed the door - the door of the classroom, the learning quality is determined more by the teacher. The description contains the purpose that the quality of learning that is the result of a very influential teacher performance on student achievement. While the teacher is good or not the performance is determined by the principal. due to poor educational institution, including teaching staff (teachers) depends on the boss, he is the person most responsible for the success of the school. Teacher's performance in carrying out the task of learning at the school is influenced by external and internal factors. External factors including headmaster leadership, organizational climate, and organizational culture.

Abstract

The process of education in general, and the process of planting the values ​​of character in particular, is heavily influenced by environmental factors both inside and outside the school. Environmental conditions also determine the quality of the product (output) of the educational process. This is less recognized by the public, so that in case the phenomenon of delinquency, they menunding teachers of subjects such as manners of Religion teacher, teacher Pancasila and Citizenship Education and Counseling did not really instill character values. Thus the solution can be done to tackle the crisis mentioned above is to create conditions conducive environment by integrating the school into a boarding school education system, thus forming an educational and religious environment. The crisis in education today, emerged due to several factors, including: First, the historical factor where the Dutch colonialists always take discriminatory policies. Second, secular life orientation factors as the influence of western education concept. Third, the absence of factors that manages intellectual intelligence learning/intellectual quotient, emotional intelligence/ Emotional Quotient, and spiritual intelligence/Spiritual Quotient a balanced way, we are more directed to the education process of academic intelligence/intellect that is not oriented on solving program. Fourth, the environmental conditions are less instructive (in a school environment, namely: school culture, attitude and behavior of speech citizens of the school).

Abstract

Abstract

The background of research is the phenomena of madrasah decreasing in West Java to develop its capacity in the effectivity. The program of SNIP MDC in Effective School Improvement (ESI) gave encouraging and training to its effectivity. The purposes of this research are: 1) analyzing training effectivity of ESI; and 2) analyzing training relevancy toward its capacity. The research used qualitative approach by descriptive method. The source of data is madrasah as unit of analysis (such as principal, treasurer, and parent commitee), by techniques of interview, observation, checklist, and documentation. The conclusion are: 1) ESI training has good effectivity. That was showed by increasing post test based pre test, and knowledge increasing by good effect size; and 2) The increasing of relevance and effective has high index more than 80% and that showed by credit program fulfillment at 85,35%.

Abstract

Higher education has recently been required to implement the concept of national qualification framework of Indonesia (KKNI) in the instructional practices.This can be seen from the presidential regulation no 8 year of 2012 which states that KKNIisa staging qualification framework aimed at accommodating, balancing, and integrating between educational field and job training field and job experience as well. Meanwhile, the Constitution of National Education System No 20 year of 2003 briefly stating that “national education is to develop skill and build characters. Therefore, the higher educational institutions need to accommodate these two different goals. This article reviews literatures concerning on the essence of character values and how to adapt them into KKNI-based curriculum.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic Teaching (Pendidikan Agama Islam) relates with achieving the goal of faith, piety and best character based on the spirit of UU RI Nomor 20 of 2003 on National Education System. In achieving it’s quality in the context of national development paradigm requires an understanding it. Paradigm is a foundation in quality development strategies. The paradigm that leads to the achievement of quality, integrated, and competitive be the foundation and frame for the realization of strategic programs with various dimensions. Paradigm of Quality, Integrative, Competitive in Religious Character frame becomes viewpoint for future. Expectations of education that touches the ease of access and quality can always be realized with a variety of synergistic efforts of various dimensions.

Abstract

Islamic education is a comprehensive educational and integrative. All the components required to perform its role of Islamic education Islamic education in order to be successful. An Islamic education supervisors to perform its role to the starting point in Islamic values. In the implementation, there are several techniques of Islamic education supervisors who do supervisors. Supervisory duties fostering Islamic education teachers to be able to have a religious type of integration, by modeling or by uswah hasanah, so teachers are also imitating doing the same thing. Supervisors are able to perform its role is always to know and monitor the conditions and the competence of teachers who supervised.
