Abstract

This study is a study of thought associated with Agus Purwanto’s thought in the book by the tittle Ayat-Ayat Semesta and Nalar Ayat-Ayat Semesta. According to Agus Purwanto thought in his book, he divides the relationship between Islam and science within 3 (three) kinds of models, namely: the Islamization of Science, Islamic of Scientification and Islamic Science. Islamization of Science is the model that made the discovery that the majority of modern science in the West, can be in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Islamic of Scientification is trying to find the basics of science to the teachings of Islam. While the Islamic Science seeks to make the Qur'an and as-Sunna as a base construction science. Of the three kinds of models, Agus Purwanto choose three clusters, namely the Islamic Science. Islamic Science is a science-based construction revelation. In this case, Agus Purwanto offer kauniyah 800 verses in the Qur'an to do the analysis of the text, which is then followed by observation and experimentation natural phenomena directly by using the scientific method.

Abstract

This study proposed new constructs to the field of Islamic psychology. It is particularly noteworthy to articulate the views of Said Nursi in the context of Islamic psychology. Based on fundamental aims of Qur’an, it clearly shows that Tawhid (Belief in God), Nubuwwa (Awareness of Prophetic Teaching), Hashr (Belief in Resurrection), and Ibadah (Worship) as for main constructs of Qur'an greatly influential on a person's belief and thought.The proposed four constructs were thoroughly scrutinized to determine the possible meanings with human belief and thought. In line with chosen method, this paper applies the views of Nursi as a device for synthesizing arguments. Islamic psychology clearly indicates the Tawhid and Nubuwwa, called shahadah, are fundamental of Islamic belief and thought and included with awareness of hereafter and doing worship. The other constructs of Hashr and Ibadah are also essential for an Islamic psychology model for understanding human personality. They were conceptually evaluated within the context of psychology, as indicatives of the concept of Islamic personality. These four constructs can be interpreted as inner experience depicting human’s emotions, desires, wishes, and intentions. Thus, they are strongly suggested to employ in newly developing Islamic personality scales.

Abstract

The declining awareness of the diversity of values and the strengthening of the recent egocentrism of the group has disturbed the attention of many and worried about the joints of the life of society, nation and state. To be presented a religion is essentially a multicultural paradigmatic answer to all universal human problems regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, culture, language, and so on. What is the formulation of cooperation between religious and inter-religious people in an effort to achieve a peaceful, tolerant, co-operative, peaceful, coexistent, and exemplary society? To answer that question seems to require a religious understanding based on inclusive, humanist and multicultural theology. The presence of multicultural education theology is expected to contribute to solving the above problems.

Abstract

Public Relations is the management function which evaluates public attitudes, indentifies the policies and procedures of an inividual or organization with the public interest and axecutes a program of action to earn public understanding and acceptance. The principle of Public relations are Qaulan Ma’ruf, Qawlan Syahid,Qaulan Baligha, Qaulan Karimah, Qaulan Maysurah, dan Qaulan Layyinah. The relationship between school and internal public can be done by extracurricular, field trip, camping, field practice, internal meeting with teacher and community service. Strategy school in establish external public could be done in a form of report to students parents, school magazine, school exhibition, open house, school visitation, radio and television, letters and telephone. A synergy between educational institutions with the community (parents) can be created by taking the community as a partner. This level higher than only become the community as customer. In this case the community or parents involved in the policy making and planning in education. Thus people to determine the development of educational institutions that eventually impact on child development.

Abstract

Educators and education personnel are the key human resources that are key to the success of educational institutions, therefore their competence must be developed continuously according to the demands and changes in the development of education. To have and prepare competent and professional educators and education personnel in their performance, educational institutions are required to apply leadership by implementing good strategies through disciplined coaching, motivation, rewards and perceptions. Guidance and development of competence, profession and career of educators and education personnel can be implemented through various strategies in the form of education and training, among others; In-house training, internship programs, school partnerships, distance learning, tiered training and specialized training, short courses at colleges or other educational institutions, internal coaching by schools, and advanced study education.

Abstract

This study was intended to examine the process of meaning giving of character education values by identifying the process of developing a character-based school culture, both for students, teachers, and other school stakeholders. The research is qualitative in nature with phenomenology design. The research was conducted at Islamic Elementary School (Sekolah Dasar Islam/SDI) Zumrotus Salamah, Tulungagung, East Java. The objects of this study were the values of character education and the character-based school culture. The school principal, the vice principals, the teachers, the students, the school committees, the students’ parents, and the communities around the school were involved as the subjects of the study. The data were collected by administering in-depth interview, documentation and observation techniques. The validity of data was ensured by credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability checking techniques. The data were then analyzed in interrelated stages of data display, data reduction, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The results show that the values of character education were elaborated from the trilogy of Islamic doctrines, namely; al-Iman, al-Islam, and al-Ihsan. Finally, the stages of the development of character-based school culture were started from the internalization process of Islamic moral values, the positive change of students’ views and attitudes, and the implementation of character-based traits at schools, at home, and in the daily social activities of students.

Abstract

Studying recitation is the basis for improving recitation when studying the Qur'an. Recitation as a foundation causes recitation of recitation done first before people learn the Qur'an in more detail or usually in line with learning the Qur'an itself. Studying recitation is helpful to improve the quality of reading the Qur’an, both in sound and rhythm, but the most urgent is to justify the meaning. The need for the recitation of recitation is significant because it is used to improve children's reading of the Qur'an, especially regarding the law of nun and tanwin, and mad reading. Therefore, so that children quickly learn the Qur’an, especially in terms of reading the Qur’an, TPQ must learn the knowledge of recitation to children. Tajweed material includes the rules of reading the Qur’an, among others: Makhraj Letter Hijaiyah, Provisions Qalqalah, Provisions Nun and Mim Musyaddadah (Tasydid), Provisions Lam Letters, Provisions of the Sukun, Provisions of Ikhfa, Provisions of Izhhar, Provisions of Qalqalah, Provisions on Nun and Mim Musyaddadah (Tasydid), Provisions on Ra Letter, Mad Provisions, Provisions on Alif and Lam Syamsiyah Letters, Provisions on Alif and Lam Qamariyah Letters, Waqaf Provisions, and Sajadah Verses; 2) The step of recitation is done by the cleric first reading a short verse, for example, a sentence in a poem that is long enough to a certain waqaf then the students follow it simultaneously. After that, one by one, the students were allowed to read what had been said simultaneously. If there is an error in the pronunciation, mainly from the perspective of recitation, it is immediately reprimanded and justified; 3) The strategies adopted include: having a mature and strategic education plan and having a learning curriculum that includes: 1) The existence of clear learning objectives 2) The existence of suitable learning methods and techniques and is applied continuously with various innovations and evaluations 3 ) The existence of a material or teaching material that is representative and by the learning objectives 4) The existence of a professional teacher in the field of learning the Qur'an.

Abstract

The quality of madrasah management is supported by good planning. The Madrasah Work Plan is one of the aspects related to the development of national education standards of it. In the context of supervision, it is part of the madrasah managerial. Madrasah supervisors in this case can develop appropriate strategies to provide guidance in planning development. Some strategies that can be developed are monitoring and evaluation, focused group discussion (FGD), delphie methods, and billings.

Abstract

The formation of religious character is indispensable for children in elementary education to face the negative effects of global challenges.This religious character education is obtained by the children of the Religious Education in the school. Islamic Religious Education has a very important role to shape the child's religious character. The full curriculum of Islamic Education requires teachers to be able to provide additional extracurricular activities. The most effective extracurricular program of Islamic Religious Education to shape the child's religious character is readingand writingQur'an (In Indonesia : Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an / BTQ) by memorizingAl-Qur'an versesand daily prayers. This paper discusses the implementation of religious character education through memorized of short verses of Qur'an and daily prayers in elementary school as an effort of teacher in implementing the character education goals proclaimed by the Government of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
