Abstract

Industri tahu di Desa Jentera memiliki dampak negatif berupa meningkatnya jumlah limbah tahu. Penanganan limbah tahu yang tidak tepat dapat menurunkan kualitas lingkungan dan merugikan ekosistem sehingga pengelolaan limbah tahu menjadi suatu kewajiban yang harus dilakukan. Limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari industri tahu berupa ampas tahu. Ampas tahu merupakan sisa hasil pembuatan tahu yang memiliki kandungan gizi berupa protein kasar sekitar 21,29%. Ampas tahu dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi bahan pangan yang bernilai tambah lebih tinggi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat Desa Jentera Kabupaten Langkat untuk mengolah limbah padat industri tahu berupa ampas tahu menjadi bahan pangan bernilai ekonomis dalam bentuk nugget dan kerupuk ampas tahu melalui kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

Abstrak Sejak pandemic covi 19 masuk ke Indonesia Maret 2020 proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dalam jaringan (daring). Awal pandemic proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dengan menggunakan whatsapp, seiring berjalannya waktu dinas meminta agar sekolah memiliki Learning Managemen (LMS) yang dapat diakses oleh dinas untuk melihat aktivitas guru. Tak ayal banyak guru yang kebingungan dalam membuat LMS. Google classroom merupakan salah satu LMS yang sederhana, Tim pengebadian dari Univeristas negeri medan mencoba untuk memberikan solusi kepada pihak sekolah. Malalui pelatihan pengembangan google classroom.  Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di SMP Satu Atap. Peserta yang memgikuti kegatan ini adlaah guru-guru smsp dari satu rayon SMP Satu Atap. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul google classroom untuk digunakan guru saat pelatihan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi untuk sekolah dan guru, untuk sekolah diharapkan sekolah memmiliki LMS sederhana yang dapat menjadi sarana belajar mengajar selama pandemic, bagi guru menambah pengetahuan dalam mengelola kelas sevcara online. Kata kunci: google classroom, LMS, pelatihan Abstract Since the Covi 19 pandemic entered Indonesia in March 2020, the teaching and learning process was carried out online. The beginning of the pandemic, the teaching and learning process was carried out using WhatsApp, as time went on the agency asked schools to have Learning Management (LMS) which could be accessed by the agency to see teacher activities. No doubt many teachers are confused in making LMS. Google classroom is one of the simple LMS, the bombardment team from Medan State University tries to provide a solution to the school. Through the google classroom development training. This community service activity is carried out at One Roof Junior High School. Participants who took part in this activity were junior high school teachers from one sub-district of One Roof Junior High School. This activity generates a google classroom module for teachers to use during training. This activity contributes to schools and teachers, it is hoped that schools will have a simple LMS that can be a means of teaching and learning during a pandemic, for teachers to increase knowledge in managing classrooms online. Keywords: Google Classroom, LMS Worksop

Abstract

The Taksu Tridatu Foundation's women's farmer group has a large coconut area, but the processing of coconut into an economic product has not been carried out, so training is needed to make VCO and its diversification. This is expected to improve the quality of health by utilizing VCO in therapeutic treatments and overcoming various diseases. Service methods carried out in community service activities are training and mentoring, making promotional media, tracking cooperation. The types of problems handled in this program include aspects of production and business management of VCO and their use in the health sector. The production aspect is by training women to produce VCO (manufacturing, quality control, diversification, packaging), while business management is carried out by collaborating with inns, restaurants, stalls, souvenir shops in Nusa Penida. The results of this activity include (1) female farmers have skills in making VCO and aromatherapy products of jasmin and sandalwood; (2) female farmers have the skills to process blondo waste into natural soap; (3) female farmers have activities to produce VCO and diversify them to be marketed or used for health; (4) The understanding of the fostered partners can be improved with the training that has been done.

Abstract

Revitalisasi wisata lauak pukek kampung nelayan era new normal dilaksanakan kepada dua mitra yaitu Mitra I adalah  RM Lauak Pukek Palanta Bundo Pasie Nan Tigo dan Mitra kedua adalah Kelompok Nelayan tradisional “lauak pukek” yang berlokasi di pesisir Kelurahan Pasie Nan Tigo. Permasalahan prioritas Mitra I rumah makan “lauak pukek” Pasie Nan Tigo adalah omset rumah makan “lauak pukek” menurun karena pengunjung berkurang dampak wabah C-19, pengunjung yang datang sangat khawatir rumah makan “lauk pukek” tidak menerapkan protokol C-19 dan tingkat kunjungan wisatawan ke kampung wisata nelayan turun drastis hingga 50 %. Permasalahan Mitra II Nelayan tradisional Pasie Nan Tigo adalah hasil tangkapan nelayan tidak dibeli oleh rumah makan “lauk pukek” sehingga harus diolah secara tradisional menjadi ikan kering. Jika cuaca buruk maka kualitas ikan kering turun drastis yang menyebabkan harga jual ikan kering anjlok. Metode untuk memecahkan masalah mitra adalah setelah alat siap maka dilakukan sosialisasi, diseminasi teknologi, pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada  kelompok mitra.Luaran dari program PPTTG ini adalah; a) Sistem go food “lauak pukek” Pasie Nan Tigo, b) 2 Alat pengering ikan ramah lingkungan, c) Web site Kampung wisata nelayan Pasie Nan Tigo, d) RM “lauak pukek” new normal dengan menyediakan tempat cuci tangan dan menerapkan protocol kesehatan, serta publikasi pada jurnal dan koran cetak maupun on line. Abstract

Proses irigasi merupakan faktor penting untuk menghasilkan produk pertanian yang berkualitas. Namun, mitra yang merupakan petani mengalami permasalahan irigasi antara lain biaya operasional dan bahan bakar dimana mitra masih menggunakan pompa diesel, serta ketidakamanan peralatan terhadap pencurian. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu membantu mitra dalam hal irigasi lahan pertanian dengan membuat pompa air tenaga surya yang disebut dengan Smart Solar Water Pump yang dilengkapi dengan sistem kontrol ketinggian air dan sistem keamanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini diawali dengan diskusi dan pancangan sistem Smart Solar Water Pump, perizinan dengan mitra, diskusi dan sosialisasi dengan mitra, pemasangan alat dan instalasi sistem keamanan dan kontrol ketinggian air, pengujian awal, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan monitoring. Hasil kegiatan ini antara lain penerapan energi terbarukan yaitu Smart Solar Water Pump telah dapat dilaksanakan sebagai alat irigasi pada lahan pertanian mitra, mitra telah mampu mengoperasikan Smart Solar Water Pump secara mandiri, setelah dilakukan monitoring diperoleh hasil sistem pada Smart Solar Water Pump masih beroperasi secara baik, sistem keamanan berupa Short Message Service (SMS) juga berjalan efektif. Kata kunci: Irigasi, Pertanian, Smart Solar Water Pump, Sistem Kontro Ketinggian Air, Sistem Keamanan.

Abstract

During the current covid-19 pandemic, which is still widsespread today, people are requried to maintain body and environmental hygiene by diligently washing their hands regularly, avoiding crowds, reducing activities outside the home to avoid transmission of the corona virus-19. To make it easier for the fostered community to prevent transmission of the virus by diligently washing their hands, in community service activities, research institutions and community service at the medan aviation polytechnic, they provided socialization on the use of porable handwashers using sensors to make it easier and invite to target community to diligent hand washing. The target community is given socialization of knowledge about the corona virus, provides direction on how to reduce the spread of the virus so that the target community does not easily believe in hoax news that is spreading about information that has not been proven to be true. After carring out this community service activity, it is hoped that the fostered community will care more about personal hygiene by diligently washing their hands after carrying out all activities to avoid the transmission of the corona-19 virus and support the government in reducing the transmission rate of the corona -19 virus, which at that time was increasing.

Abstract

Integrated community service with the 2020 UNRI Real Work Lecture (Kukerta) aims to increase the knowledge of the government and village communities about the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMKam). It also aims to prepare BUMKam managers to be more optimal in developing BUMKam through management training and making business road maps. The object of its activities is BUMKam Dayun Mandiri. Training and mentoring are the main methods of this service activity. Starting with a survey to identify needs and possible solutions. Community service activities were started by making an alignment by the team and apparatus and the community at the Kukerta post. The FEB UNRI service team together with the apparatus and the community prepared a plan. Kukerta participants are trained to be facilitators by accompanying lecturers at the Kukerta locations. Then training for the preparation of BUMKam business strategic planning. Implementation of monitoring and evaluation to see progress, supervise processes and activities continuously, identify problems and deviations that often arise, formulate problem solving and compile periodic progress reports over a specified time period. BUMKam managers accompanied by Kukerta participants have been able to improve the BUMKam administration process. Both administrative management, financial accountability reports and loan distribution to micro and small businesses.

Abstract

This training activity aims to provide teachers with knowledge and skills in making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. The activities carried out consist of three activity activities, namely pre-activity, implementation of activities, and post-activity. Pre-activity activities are initial exploratory activities to find reasons for teachers/activity participants to participate in activities. While the implementation of the activity has carried out by providing a list of questions to the teacher/participant, which contained the teacher's initial knowledge of kokedama as an environmentally friendly medium, then continued with the delivery of material. The third activity is post-activity, an activity to process data obtained from participant/teacher responses before and after the activity has carried out. Training activities for making kokodema an environmentally friendly medium can increase the knowledge and skills of teachers in reducing plastic waste pollution in schools. This has shown by the active participation of the participants in participating in training activities ranging from delivering material, taking an active role in discussions, carrying out kokedama making practices and participating actively in evaluation and reflection activities.

Abstract

Abstract Desmos is a platform or service that offers a variety of math tools, digital math activities, and curricula to facilitate students’ high-level learning in a joyful way through the web or iOS and Android applications. For teachers, Desmos can be employed to improve the quality of mathematics teaching and learning by facilitating students to perform authentic mathematical activities. Therefore, the present community service activity aims to provide professional development programs for teachers to design digital mathematics learning activities using Desmos. The method used in the present community service was online training using Google Classroom and Zoom. The results of this community service activity indicate that the teachers gave a positive assessment of the training implementation, facilitators, and materials. Also, the teachers acknowledged that the training had provided new knowledge on learning media, sparked the desire of teachers to implement Desmos activities in mathematics teaching and learning, and made the teacher give a positive perception to Desmos. As a follow-up to this training, sustainable community service activities are needed so that the teachers can be more optimal in utilizing and integrating technology in mathematics teaching and learning effectively. Keywords: Desmos; Training; Mathematics Teaching and Learning; Professional Development.

Abstract

Desa Pasirkaliki merupakan salah satu desa yang berada dalam wilayah kecamatan Rawamerta, kabupaten Karawang, provinsi Jawa Barat. Terdapat beberapa peternak bebek/itik dan kelompok usaha telur asin rebus yang diproduksi secara tradisional dengan jumlah produksi tidak terlalu besar, karena pemasaran yang terbatas yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya industri serupa, baik di desa maupun kecamatan yang sama, bahkan hampir disetiap kecamatan juga ada masyarakatnya yang produksi telur asin rebus. Terinspirasi dari telur asin asap Brebes, maka tim berinisiatif untuk membuat alat/tunggu pengasapan untuk memproduksi telur asin asap Pasirkaliki, melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Tungku pengasapan yang dibuat memiliki dimensi 60x60x150cm, terdiri dari 2 bagian, yaitu: bagian atas sebagai ruang pengasapan, dan bagian bawah sebagai tempat pembakaran batok kelapa, serabut kelapa, dan sekam padi. Tunggu ini juga telah dilengkapi dengan kompor gas dan panel kontrol, yang dapat mengatur dan mengontrol temperatur pada ruang pembakaran secara otomatis. Proses pengasapan dapat dilakukan pada telur asin yang telah direbus maupun belum direbus, tentunya dengan hasil yang berbeda. Proses pengasapan dilakukan dengan pengaturan berikut: telur asin yang direbus, diproses selama 4 jam pada suhu antara 70-75oC untuk hasil maksimal. Sementara untuk telur asin tidak direbus, diproses selama 6 jam pada suhu antara 60-65oC untuk hasil maksimal. Hasilnya untuk telur yang direbus, telur matang dengan sempurna terutama dilihat pada tampilan kuning telurnya, sementara untuk telur yang tidak direbus, tetap matang tetapi sedikit lebih lembek.Kata kunci: Pasirkaliki, Peternak, Teluk Bebek,Tungku Pengasapan, Telur Asin Asap
