Abstract. The background of this research was the low learning outcomes of students in Social Sciences (IPS). This research aims to obtain information about improving learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) subject by applying the Index Card Match method in elementary school. This research was held at SDN Mandalawangi, Cipatat Sub-district, West Bandung District using a quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subject of this research was the 4th grade students of SDN Mandalawangi, Cipatat Sub-district, West Bandung District. There were 60 students that divided into 2 classes, class IV A and IV B. The research sample was taken using saturated sampling technique because the number of samples was equal to the population. The techniques of data analysis include normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. After getting the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes of both classes students, the score were analyzed until the final results stated by the difference average test. The score for control class was 8.4 and the average score for the experimental class was 34.6. Based on the results, the application of the Index Card Match method can improve student learning outcomes in social sciences subject in elementary school and the hypothesis that said there is a significant improvement in student learning outcomes by applying the Index Card Match method on social sciences subject in elementary school is acceptable. Abstract: This study are aims to determine the differences in students' critical thinking skills using inquiry learning model. The methods that used in this research is experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design (pre-test and post test in experimental group and control group). The samples are taken using simple random sampling technique with 5th grade of A class (30) and B class (31). This study using test and documentation as the data collection techniques which will be processed to answer the specified hypothesis. The technique of data analysis using t-test result of critical thinking skills in experimental group and control group with level of 0,05 are a proved result of hypothesis-table ≤ ttable ≥ ttable that is -2,001 ≤ 4,096 ≥ 2,001 then Ha is accepted, means that both group are not the same. This indicates that there is a differences of students' critical thinking skills between students using inquiry models with students using conventional learning model (lectures and assignment). It can be concluded that the inquiry self-learning models can influence the students' critical thinking skills with the percentage score of the critical thinking skills are 55% in the experimental group and the control group are 27%. Based on the results of these research, the suggestions that researchers can convey that inquiry learning models can be used as an alternative in science learning. Abstrak. This study aims to determine the effect of articulation learning models on students' understanding The Republic Indonesia proclamation of independence materials at 5th grade in social studies subjects. The method that used in this research is a quasi experiment with the design of Nonequivalent (Pre-Test and Test Post) Control- Group Design. The design of the Group-Control Design is Non-equivalent Pre-Test and Post Control Group Design Test. The subjects of this research were the 5th grade students of SDN Babakan, Bogor City, with Academic Year of 2016/2017. The results of this research are obtained data on the average pretest score of the experimental group is 56.80 and control group is 56.60. The average differences in the pretest scores of the experimental and control group are obtained by a significance value of 0.812> 0.05, so H0 was accepted. It can be concluded that there is no difference in the pretest scores of the experimental group and the control group. The average final score of the post-test experimental group was 89, the control group was 68.29. The different test of the average post-test score of experimental and control group in the both populations is if the significance score (P-value) > α, with the significance score is 0,000 ≤ 0.05. then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This can be concluded that there are differences in the average post-test score in experimental group and control group. The conclusion of the obtained data is that the articulation learning model in the experimental group can influence the understanding of elementary students about Republic Indonesia proclamation of independence materials. Abstract. Mathematics have an important role in daily life. From a psychological perspective, mathematics can developed an analytical thinking process and helps to organize ideas in our mind. The ability to understand mathematics are also based on the ability to understand the language. The picture-word inductive model is one of the learning methods that emphasizes the improvement of the students’ language skills. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the picture-word (pictorial) inductive model in improving the verbal comprehension of students in elementary school. This research used quasi-experimental research methods using experimental group. The subjects of this research are the students of primary school in Kudus District with 21 students. This research used a Wechsler scale as the measuring instrument that has been widely used in measuring intelligence, one of them is verbal ability. The results showed that the influence of the picture-word (pictorial) inductive model on the Information subtest with 0,38 as its score. Arithmetic Subtest with 0,32 as its score and the Equation Subtest with a score of 0,67. The Analysis and conclusions will be discussed further in this article. Abstract. This research was conducted to improve the learning result from SD Negeri Salatiga 12 on the 2nd grade’s mathematics by applying Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. The research was based on the Pre-test results by 73.7% of the students that do not fulfill the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) which is 70. The completeness of students’ learning outcomes at pre-test stage reaches a percentage of 26.3%. This research is an Action Class Research (PTK) using pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this research are 38 of 2nd grade elementary students of SD Negeri Salatiga 12. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and hypothesis which are tested by T-test (comparisons). The results showed that there is a significant differences between the pre-test and post-test which are taught with a Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, which is the Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 then Ho denied. From this results of research, shows the increased learning can be seen from the results of the Post-test that reach the presentage of mastery learning 84.2%. This can be stated that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach are able to improve the achievement of learning math of 2nd grade elementary students in SD Negeri Salatiga 12.
