Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mengajarkan siswa untuk mampu mengaplikasikan kemampuan yang mereka miliki dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang ada dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan suatu kemampuan yang erat kaitannya dengan penalaran yang bukan hanya sekedar mengingat kembali, ataupun menyatakan kembali, kemampuan ini menitik beratkan pada kemampuan untuk menganalisis, membuat keputusan yang tepat dan memecahkan suatu masalah. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan ditemukan permasalahan guru belum terlatih mengembangkan soal-soal yang berorientasi HOTS pada muatan IPA, guru masih kesulitan memahai soal soal berdasarkan kategori tingkatan kognitif siswa sesuai dengan taksonomi bloom terbaru. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam menyususn soal-soal berbasis HOTS maka diperlukan pelatihan yang dapat mengaktifkan guru dalam membuat soal-soal yang berorientasi HOTS. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat, dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan, diskusi,praktik dan monitoring serta evalusi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan mitra kelompok guru gugus Pandanaran Dabin IV UPTD Semarang Tengah yang bertempat di SDN Pekunden jalan Pandanaran 1 No.28 Pekunden Peserta terdiri dari guru-guru se-gugus Pandanaran sejumlah 50 peserta. Tingkat antusiasme dalam mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian sangatlah tinggi. Adapun materi yang diberikan saat pelatihan meliputi Pengertian HOTS, Karakteristik HOTS, Penyusunan soal-soal muatan IPA berbasis HOTS dan praktik membuat soal-soal berbasis HOTS. Kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung selama 2 bulan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2019 dimulai dari observasi ke lokasi pengabdian, identifikasi masalah sampai dengan pelatihan. Dari kegiatan pengabdian yang sudah dilaksanakan ada harapan dari pihak mitra untuk menindaklanjuti kegiatan ini dengan kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan soal yang tidak hanya terfokus pada muatan IPA saja tetapi pada  muatan pelajaran yang lain.Kata kunci: Higher Order Thinking Skills; IPA; kelompok kerja guru AbstractHigher-order thinking skills teach students to be able to apply the abilities they have in dealing with problems that exist in everyday life. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is an ability that is closely related to reasoning that is not merely recalling, or restating, this ability focuses on the ability to analyze, make the right decision and solve a problem. Based on observations made, it is found that teachers have not been trained in developing HOTS-oriented questions on science content, teachers are still having trouble understanding questions based on students' cognitive level according to the latest bloom taxonomy. To develop the teacher's ability to prepare HOTS-based questions, training is needed to enable the teacher to create HOTS-oriented questions. Implementation of community service, in the form of training, discussion, practice and monitoring and evaluation activities. Community service is carried out with teacher groups of Pandanaran Dabin IV UPTD Semarang Tengan group located at SDN Pekunden, Pandanaran 1 street No.28 Pekunden -Pandanaran group of 50 participants. The level of enthusiasm in participating in community service activities is very high. The material provided during the training included Understanding HOTS, HOTS Characteristics, Compilation of HOTS-based science content questions and the practice of making HOTS-based questions. Community service activities last for 2 months in July to August 2019 starting from observation to the location of service, problem identification to training. From the service activities that have been carried out there is an expectation from the partners to follow up on this activity with the training activities of the preparation of questions not only focused on the content of science but in the grasp of other lessons.Keywords: Higher Order Thinking Skills; natural sciences; teacher working groups

Abstract

Abstract: This study are aims to determine the differences in students' critical thinking skills using inquiry learning model. The methods that used in this research is experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design (pre-test and post test in experimental group and control group). The samples are taken using simple random sampling technique with 5th grade of A class (30) and B class (31). This study using test and documentation as the data collection techniques which will be processed to answer the specified hypothesis. The technique of data analysis using t-test result of critical thinking skills in experimental group and control group with level of 0,05 are a proved result of hypothesis-table ≤ ttable ≥ ttable that is -2,001 ≤ 4,096 ≥ 2,001 then Ha is accepted, means that both group are not the same. This indicates that there is a differences of students' critical thinking skills between students using inquiry models with students using conventional learning model (lectures and assignment). It can be concluded that the inquiry self-learning models can influence the students' critical thinking skills with the percentage score of the critical thinking skills are 55% in the experimental group and the control group are 27%. Based on the results of these research, the suggestions that researchers can convey that inquiry learning models can be used as an alternative in science learning. Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Critical Thinking Skill

Abstract

                                                  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan siswa pada Pembelajaran Model Kooperatif Learning Visual Auditory Kinestetik Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Sekolah Dasar. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu SD di Kecamatan Gubug Kabupaten Grobogan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji prosentase angket, uji regresi dan uji t tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keaktifan siswa menggunakan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Learning Visual Auditory Kinestetik mempengaruhi nilai pemahaman konsep matematika. Berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien (R) = 0,825 dengan (R Square) = 0,681 = 68,1%. Pada uji ANOVA menghasilkan Fhitung = 40,58 dengan nilai sig=0,000. Dengan kriteria jika nilai sig < α maka koefisien korelasi tersebut signifikan dengan besar pengaruh 68,1%. (2) Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dengan menggunakan model Visual Auditory Kinestetik dapat memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) diperoleh dari hasil uji t yang nilai Asymp (2-tailed) = 0,000 < α.Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif visual auditory kinestetik,  keaktifan siswa, kemampuan pemahaman konsep, matematika SD.                                                       AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of student activeness on Learning Cooperative Learning Kinestetik Visual Auditory Model to Understanding Concept Mathematics of Primary School. Type of research is a experimental design using a one-shot case study design. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire, test, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile the research data is analyzed using the analysis of percentage questionnaire test, regression test and t test. The results of this research show that: (1) Student activeness using Cooperative Learning Learning Visual Auditory Kinestetik influence comprehension value of math concept. Based on the calculation obtained coefficient value (R) = 0.825 with (R Square) = 0.681 = 68.1%. In ANOVA test yield Fcount = 40,58 with value of sig = 0,000. By criterion if sig value <α then correlation coefficient is significant with big influence 68,1%. (2) The ability to comprehend the concept of mathematics by using the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic model can fulfill the the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) obtained from the result of t test which is Asymp value (2-tailed) = 0,000 <α.Keywords: cooperative learning visual kinesthetic auditory model, student activity, abilityof understanding concepts, mathematics elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the correlation between self-regulated learning and self-concept of students with the results of Social Study. The research method used was a survey using regression analysis, simple correlation, and multiple regression and correlation. The research was conducted in SDN Pondok Kopi 08 Pagi, District of Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, with n = 91 using cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that: (1) there is a positive correlation between self-regulated learning with learning outcomes of Social Study; (2) there is a positive correlation between self-concept of students with learning outcomes of Social Study; (3) there is a positive correlation between self-regulated learning and self-concept of students together with the results of Social Study. Based on the research results, the learning outcomes of Social Study can be improved by increasing self-regulated learning and self-concept of the students, because the results of the verification prove that self-regulated learning and self-concept of students are significant determinants.   Keywords: Self-Regulated Learning, Self-Concept, Learning Outcome of Social Study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap sikap mandiri siswa kelas V SD Negeri Bakalrejo 1; (2) Aapakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Bakalrejo 1; dan (3) apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap sikap mandiri dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri Bakalrejo 1. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis I menggunakan rumus independent sample t test nilai perhitungan menggunakan SPSS 16 dengan nilai signifikansi pada kolom sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang berarti model problem based learning berpengruh terhadap sikap mandiri siswa. Hipotesis II menggunakan rumus independent sample t test nilai perhitungan menggunakan SPSS 16 dengan nilai signifikansi pada kolom sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis III menggunakan uji manova menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis untuk Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace,Roy's Largest Root semuanya menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,000 karena signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap sikap mandiri dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa siswa kelas V SD Negeri Bakalrejo 1.Kata Kunci : model problem based learning, kemampuan komunikasi matematika, sikap mandiri siswa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by fifth-grade students' low critical thinking skills in science subjects. A learning approach is needed to overcome these problems. This study aims to determine the effect of the environmental approach on the science critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research is an experimental quantitative research that uses the Quasi-Experimental Design used in this study, namely the Nonequivalent Control Group Design with data analysis paired sample t-test. The sample used in this study is fifth grade, as many as 35 elementary school students. It was concluded that from the results of the paired sample t-test hypothesis test, the results showed Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000. If Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < (0.05), then Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence from the environmental approach on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive effect of using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model on the learning outcomes of problem-solving math story problems for second-grade students of SDN 03 Pelang. The lack of students understanding of the issue of the story problems and imagining the problems in story questions is not optimal. The RME model will provide students with authentic experiences and opportunities to construct mathematical knowledge. The type of research conducted is experimental research. The design used in this study is quasi-experimental in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were second-grade students of SDN 03 Pelang. The data collection technique in this research is in the form of a test (description). While the data analysis techniques include analysis of instrument trials, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a significant effect of the RME learning model on the problem-solving ability of students' story problems between the experimental and control groups. So, the RME makes students actively participate in learning so that students' problem-solving skills are achieved optimally.
