Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the local content of Javanese language material for fifth graders elementary school by using formative scoring sheet for mterial which were used by teacher of fifth graders of elementary school in North Purwokertp district was Remen Basa Jawi 5. This research was qualitative research with content analysis technique.the data cllection technique was documentary which gotten from Remen Basa Jawi 5 book. The data was analyzed by using compatible result, less compatible, and not compatible. The data presentation was description by using narration. Based on the analysis result, the content appropriateness of Remen Basa Jawi 5 was less compatible with competency standard and basic competence, students’ need, and the reading criterioan, clarity f information, and the conformity of Javanese language theorm. The presentation’s result was less compatible in presentation organization’s criteria, motivation’s giving, and the completeness of information. The result of graphic analysis was less compatible in using font aspect,illustration, and performance design

Abstract

The research was to know the impact of vocabulary mastery and reading interest towards the students’ competence in writing narrative essay in grade IV of SD Negeri 2 Bobotsari. The population of this research was all the students of SD Negeri 2 Bobotsari, and 48 samples was randomly chosen. The data were collected trough questionnaire and written test. The techniques in analyzing the data were normality test, homogeneity, linierity, correlation and regression analysis. The result of the reserch showed that were was a positive impact of vocabulary mistery on writing narrative essay competence. It could be seen from the result of the computation r = 0,31and tresult> ttable or 2,212 > 1,684 and with simple linier regression equation Ŷ = 55,70, 19 + 0,21 X1. Reading interest also had an impact on writting narrative essay competence with r = 0,26 and tresult> ttable or 1,89 > 1,684 and the obtained regression equation wasŶ = 58,80 + 0,19 X2. When the vocabulary mastery and reading interest were done simultaneously, the result showed R = 0,15 and fresult> ftable or 5,08 > 3,21which meant it was significant with double linier regression equation which was obtained Ŷ =45,93+0,20X1+0,17X2

Abstract

Students' critical thinking ability is one of the components developed in 21st Century learning. However, this critical thinking ability is still very minimal and far from expectations, this is supported by the results of international surveys that show a low average value. Likewise, the results of the pretest of critical thinking skills of grade IV elementary school students in Cluster 2 Purwasari showed a low average value. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in reading comprehension learning through the use of the FIVES Model and the Guided Reading Model. The study used a quasi-experiment with Static Group Pretest-Postest Design. The results showed that the use of these two models could improve students' critical thinking skills. However, the use of Model FIVES experienced a significant increase compared to the Guided Reading Model. Thus, there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills through the FIVES Model compared to the Guided Reading Model.

Abstract

Interviews and observations showed low learning achievement of independence and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tinggarjaya, so this research aims to improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry. This research is the subject of a class action that takes fifth-grade students with a number of 30 students consisting of 12 men and 18 women. This study uses a model of Quantum Teaching is carried out2cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. Based on the result obtained in the first cycle, students' independence as much as79,58% with both criteria and the second cycles much as89,18%, thus increasing the criterion very well, while the acquisition of student achievement obtained in the first cycle the average value of the class of 58,67 with passing grade is achieved only 60%. in the second cycle, the acquisition of student achievement obtained an average value of 89,25class with mastery learning reaches 88,9%. The collection of data through questionnaires and student evaluation sheet, Quantum Teaching shows that the model can improve the independence and student achievement in the subjects of Mathematics material congruency and symmetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Bumi dan Ruang Angkasa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran multimedia dan disakusi terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode PTK yaitu terdiri dari 4 tahapan mulai dari perencanaan, tindakan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester IV kelas C yang mengambil mata kuliah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 67,7 pada tahun akademik 2009/2010 menjadi 81,2 pada 2019/2011. Jumlah mahasiswa didik yang mendapat nilai diatas 70 pada tahun akademik 2009/2010 mencapai 94,3%, sedangkan pada tahun sebelumnya baru mencapai 69,8%. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran multimedia dan diskusi terbimbing dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

Bullying akhir-akhir ini marak terjadi di kalangan pelajar, baik terjadi di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Bullying adalah penggunaan kekuasaan atau kekuatan untuk menyakiti seseorang atau sekelompok, sehingga korban merasa tertekan, trauma, dan tidak berdaya. Pertama, fisik, seperti memukul, menampar, dan memalak atau meminta dengan paksa apa yang bukan miliknya. Kedua, verbal, seperti memaki, menggosip, dan mengejek. Ketiga, psikologis, seperti mengintimidasi, mengecilkan, mengabaikan, dan mendiskriminasikan. Pelaksanaan program pencegahan perilaku bullying di sekolah dengan tujuan agar stake holder di sekolah akan memahami perilaku bullying sehingga akan menurunkan tingkat kekerasan yang selama ini terjadi di sekolah

Abstract

The research was aimed at knowing what factors affected the difficulty in reading, writing, and computing in first-grade elementary school. This used descriptive research. The subject of this research were 39 students of grade 1 at SD Negeri 1 Pancurendang. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the result of the research, most of the students were able to read, write and compute well, but only two were not. The difficulties in reading, writing, and computing were affected by several factors such as the family environment factor, the parent’s attention, guidance and supervision which were very, important and influencing the student’s interest and motivation as well as the student’s environment in the learning process. To overcome the difficulties in reading, writing, and computing, the teacher and parents gave attention, training, and guidance so that the learning process could run well.

Abstract

Teacher’s pedagogical competence can be developed and the quality can be increased through the application of cooperative learning model. By using this model, a teacher could use many interesting methods to improve the students’ interest, motivation and achievement. By this strategy, the learning interaction will be more “many-direction” and learning source diversification. The cooperative learning strategy was directed to develop the students’ cognitive ability as well as their interpersonal competence. Cooperative learning strategy is one of the alternatives can be used in Islamic Education for effective and efficient learning to achieve the determined learning goals. Cooperative learning strategy is psychologically suitable with the students’ social development in their age of SD/MI and suitable with their characteristic that is to enjoy working in groups. Cooperative learning strategy is also a reflection of the Indonesian character namely mutual cooperation. Therefore, the learning should be suitable with the society condition and the mutual cooperation should be the principle coloring this learning practice for the students. In the application of cooperative learning, it needs the willingness and the ability as well as the teachers’ creativity to manage class, so the teacher will be more active especially in making well-done lesson plans, class management in action, and make assignment for students with groups.

Abstract

Kecerdasan adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang yang meliputi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan keahlian untuk menyelesaikan masalahnya.Pada hakikatnya setiap individu memiliki beberapa kecerdasan diantaranya kecerdasan bahasa/linguistik, logis-matematis, visual-spasial, kinestetik, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musikal, dan naturalis. Tetapi kombinasi dan porsi kecerdasan yang dimiliki tiap individu tidak sama tergantung pada bagaimana cara mengembangkan segala kecerdasan yang telah ada.Dengan memahami bahwa tiap individu terlahir dengan berbagai jenis kecerdasan, diharapkan para pendidik tidak hanya menganggap bahwa siswa yang cerdas dan berprestasi hanyalah siswa yang cerdas secara akademik. Karena ada berbagai potensi besar lainnya yang dimiliki siswa selain kemampuan dibidang akademik saja. Kedelapan kecerdasan dapat beroperasi dalam mendampingi secara independen satu sama lain. Berbekal teori kecerdasan majemuk seorang guru secara tidak langsung dapat menguasai dan belajar berbagai metode pembelajaran. Sehingga fungsi guru sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, pelatih, penasehat, pembaharu, pendorong kreativitas, pembangkit, evaluator sehingga anak didik dapat berhasil secara optimal

Abstract

The research was aimed to (1) observe the students’ skill in writing narrative text, (2) find the mistakes in standard Indonesian language of the narrative text on the topic of Life Phenomenon in Indonesian Subject of fifth graders Elementary School. The method applied was quantitative and qualitative, in a form of descriptive by collecting data using test and documentation. The data were obtained from the narrative text of the fifth graders' students SD N 1 Pasinggangan consisted of 31 students. The research showed that most of the students could compose narrative correctly with the mean score of 76, which mean in “good category”. However, there were some mistakes about misspelling or mistake in grammar (252 from 139 collected data). The mistakes were spelling 33.33%, punctuation 22.27%, word decoding 5.16%, mistyping 30.95%, and grammar 3,56% such as prefix, suffix, konfix, and infix 0.40%.
