Abstract

Abstract: Muhammad Iqbal is a Philosopher and education’s figure. His saveral ideas are about character education and education of creativity. Disruption era brings a complex problem, especially in moral and character development. The deterioration of student’s moral value will be a trigger to make attitude and behavior that doesn’t suit with spiritual value or the oble values of Indonesian nation. Therefore, character development in disruption era be a very important discussion. This research aims to analyze Muhammad Iqbal’s views of character education that relevance to disruption era. The research’s method is library research with data collection techniques from any references such as books, journals, newspaper, and others articles. This research used descriptive analysis technique. The results is according to Muhammad Iqbal’s thoughts that character education is an effort to prevent the moral crisis phenomenon on students that relevant at disruption era. Impementation of the character education is with modelling of positive character and behavior, development self-awareness about human essence as insan kamil, and developement the tolerance.

Abstract

Abstract: These research aims to identify and explain Wasathiyah Islamic Values ​​(NISWA) on the theme of Nusantara Islam in the MTS Level SKI Student Book published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015 and 2020 as well as to explain the similarities and differences along with the factors that cause them. As a library research, the data collection technique of this research is through documentation with content analysis techniques in analyzing the data. The results showed that there was NISWA in the two Student Books. This study also shows that there are similarities in the context of NISWA development which include the quantity and type of NISWA, one-to-one correspondence with several NISWA, the spirit of dynamics and creativity through the development of NISWA, the use of a consistent cultural approach and the selection of figures in the learning materials. The difference is seen in the total quantity of NISWA and the focus of its development in each chapter. The factors that cause differences in the development of NISWA in the two Student Books are the direction of the basic paradigm, reference sources and the distinction of Islam Nusantara in the form of material about Islamic boarding schools which is only found in the 2020 Student Book Published.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the value of tolerance instilled in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tulungagung and the process of planting it to students. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study, the place of research is at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tulungagung. The research data were obtained from the principal, Ismuba teacher and students using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing by checking the validity of the data in the form of credibility and confirmability. The results showed that the cultivation of tolerance values ​​in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tulungagung was carried out through Ismuba learning materials which contained tolerance values. The process of planting through active learning both in terms of theory and practice. In ensuring success in instilling the value of tolerance, the school makes direct observations of both the status of active students and alumni. They are monitored regularly without them knowing by involving all teachers. From this evaluation, it was found that there were no cases of intolerance and blasphemy against multicultural values ​​by active students and alumni

Abstract

Abstract: Adolescent morality is the most strategic foundation for the nation's future development. The emergence of organizations that focus on moral development such as youth hijrah, better known as shift organizations, has attracted a lot of interest among young millennials to join them. The purpose of this study is to reveal the management of the hijrah youth organization in instilling moral education among adolescents. The approach is carried out through a qualitative approach using the literature review method (narrative literature review). This research reveals that hijrah youth organizations have used the strategy of planting branding images in managing their organizations. The organization's members are driven by a millennial youth, a community leader who is appointed as a driving figure for the moral improvement of young people. The implementation of shift organization management is carried out through; (1) the relationship between members is quite communicative, (2) the cool style of young people as branding in instilling a positive impression, (3) the selection of material content close to real life, and (4) blended learning educational methods.

Abstract

The stigma of thoughts and movements to be radical and smells of violence still surrounds life in Indonesia, this is behind the importance of moderate Islamic thought by "Islam wasatiyah". This paper explain about strengthening religious moderation to counter hate narratives on social media. The study in this paper is qualitative. The conceptual framework offered uses a constructivist paradigm where technology seen as a product of social construction. The agent-structure approach is base on Giddens' theory of structuration. The technology studied is social media technology, while the agent in question is a social media user, then communication culture is place as a social structure that acts as a wider context. The conceptual framework as described here is especially useful for describing the relationship between technology and society and answering the question of how the interplay between technology and social behavior occurs in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran dan hubungan antara para ulama dan umara dalam modernisasi pendidikan Islam di tanah Bugis abad XX. Penelitian berjenis library research ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data bersumber dari berbagai literatur ilmiah sejarah, dan dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi serta dianalisis menggunakan kaca mata hermeneutika modern. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peran ulama dan umara dalam modernisasi pendidikan Islam di tanah Bugis pada Abad XX diwujudkan dalam beberapa gerakan besar, yaitu: Muhammadiyah, As’adiyah, Darud Da’wah wal irsyad, Amiriyyah, dan Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Di tanah Bugis, para ulama sangat dimuliakan sebab mereka bukanlah ulama rendahan yang bisa disuap dan menjilat penguasa. Justru para umara lah yang cenderung memperlihatkan ketergantungan terhadap para ulama. Di saat yang sama, terjadi hubungan simbiosis mutualisme anatara keduanya dimana umara memfasilitasi terwujudnya iklim pendidikan Islam yang kondusif untuk membangun sumber daya manusia yang berakhlak mulia, dan ulama pun tidak pernah tinggal diam jika melihat sebuah kemungkaran dengan langsung mengkritik serta mengingatkan umara. Meskipun demikian, hubungan simbiosis mutualisme ini sedikit ternodai oleh upaya pemaksaan umara terhadap ulama untuk mendukung hasrat politik kelompok mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of students of the Da'wah Management Department of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung with the implementation of online lectures conducted during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews and observations on Dakwah Management students in semesters 1, 3 and 5. The collected data was then analyzed through several stages, namely the stages of data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate an increase in student satisfaction of the Da'wah Management Department with online lectures in the odd academic year 2021-2022. However, even though there is an increase in satisfaction with online lectures, there are still many students who want face-to-face lectures.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam yang berada di Indonesia tidaklah muncul dan berkembang dengan tiba-tiba. Hal ini melewati proses sejarah yang panjang. Dengan mengkaji sejarah, dinamika serta epistemologi akan terurai terkait dengan historitas pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan masuk dalam kategori library research. Sumber datanya diperoleh dari buku primer dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan tema, tenik analisis datanya menggunakan metode desktiptif analitik. Adapun hasil penelitian ini antara lain: bahwa pertama kali pendidikan Islam berada di bumi pertiwi selaras dengan masuknya Islam ke Indonesia. melalui dinamika yang panjang terdapat empat fase. Pertama, masa penjajahan Belanda yang diskriminatif tehadap pendidikan Islam, kemudian masa penjajahan Jepang pendidikan Islam agak longgar dari diskriminasi, karena Jepang pada masa itu memiliki misi perang dunia II. Kedua, masa orde lama perlahan pemerintah memberikan perhatian terhadap pendidikan Islam. Ketiga, orde baru, pada masa ini madrasah mendapatkan kesetaraan dengan sekolah umum. Keempat, masa reformasi, pendidikan Islam di masa ini sudah berkembang maju, kurikulum, kemudian pendidikan Islam juga diperhatikan dengan menggelontorkan anggaran 20% dari APBN. Kemudian terkait epistemology pendidikan Islam di Indonesia dapat dikenali dengan mempertegas melalui warisan budaya dan peradaban Islam berupa kehadiran madrasah.

Abstract

PAI & BP di jenjang SMA menuntut siswa memiliki kompetensi baik dari aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotor. Sedangkan persepsi kemampuan siswa meliputi kelebihan dan kekurangan dirinya terhadap mata pelajaran PAI & BP baik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, memahami materi, serta mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam keseharian itulah yang disebut academic self concept PAI & BP siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana tingkat ASC siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran PAI & BP serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya guna menjalin komunikasi yang terbuka antara guru dan siswa serta menciptakan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar antara guru dan siswa. Instrumen ASC PAI & BP yang digunakan adalah hasil modifikasi atas instrumen ASC Sains milik Graham Hardy (2013). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif metode sensus desain Cross-Sectional dengan instrumen angket kuesioner campuran untuk mengetahui tingkat ASC PAI & BP siswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ASC PAI & BP siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat ASC PAI & BP siswa SMA berada pada kategori tinggi yang berarti ASC PAI & BP siswa sebagian besar positif dimana 72,0% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang tinggi, 27,3% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang sedang, dan 0,6% siswa memiliki ASC PAI & BP yang rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kepribadian guru pendidikan Islam dalam kitab “Irsyadul Muallimin” Karya K.H. Taufiqul Hakim. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu literatur review dengan teknik pengumpulan data berdasar artikel atau buku yang sesuai topik. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis dengan penyajian secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai kepribadian guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam kitab Irsyadul Muallimin yaitu guru memiliki kepribadian menyenangkan dengan indikator proaktif, cerdas, empati, bijaksana, kreatif dan inovatif, selalu belajar, humoris, bersahabat, mengetahui kebutuhan siswa, adil, sederhana, komunikatif, sabar, rendah hati, penyayang, tegas, mengayomi, disiplin, menghargai siswa, ikhlas, berpikir positif, pemaaf, dan demokratis.
