Abstract

Abstarct. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Perceived Quality, Brand Image, and Promotionon Purchase Intention of the Achilles consumer in South Jakarta. Preliminary research data was secondary data from the Achilles. Research data was from questionnaires that‘s distributed tothe respondents. The sampling method use disincidental sampling by reason of ease to get respondens. By using the formulaTabachnickand Fidell, the number of samplesis determined amounted to 100 respondents, whocame fromeight storesAchillesin South Jakarta.The analytical method usedissimple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the brand image partially significant effect on purchase intention. While the perceived quality and promotion partially have no significant effect on purchase intention. Simultaneously, the third free variable, that are perceived quality, brand image and promotion significantly effect on purchase intention.Keywords: Perceived Quality, Brand Image, Promotion, and Purchase Intention and Achilles Tyre

Abstract

Perkembangan internet mendorong industri perbankan untuk mengembangkan e-banking. Tidak hanya itu, industri perbankan terus meningkatkan kualitas dan kepercayaan demi terus menciptakan nilai tambah pada merek supaya konsumen tidak beralih ke merek lain. Dalam kaitannya dengan merek, banyak penelitian yang berkaitan dengan ekuitas merek, namun sedikit penelitian yang mengintegrasikan variabel manfaat risiko dan kepercayaan untuk memprediksi ekuitas merek terlebih lagi dalam konteks teknologi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh variabel-variabel anteseden ekuitas merek (yakni: kepercayaan, kesadaran merek, persepsi kualitas, loyalitas merek, risiko, dan manfaat). Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kuantitatif dengan dengan tipe jenis penelitian deskriptif. Obyek yang digunakan adalah BCA mobile banking. Peneliti melakukan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuisioner dengan 28 indikator yang diberikan secara personal dengan menggunakan skala Likert 5 poin. Disain sampel adalah sampel non probabilitas dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan structural equation modeling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa delapan hipotesis didukung. Studi ini memberikan beberapa kontribusi teoritis, implikasi manajerial dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya

Abstract

Abstract. A good supply chain requires strong collaboration, coordination, andintegration within each components of the chain involved. Such role is held by PTBimandiri Agro Sedaya as a driven between farmers and modern market. However, inthe marketing process, PT Bimandiri has a problem in the lack of supply of vegetablesallegedly due to lack of vegetables produced by partner farmers. This study aimed toanalyze performance of vegetable supply chains and contract farming partnerships inPT Bimandiri Agro Sedaya. Data processing method are Supply Chain OperationReference (SCOR) analysis, and Contract Farming Models analysis with respondents20 partner farmers and staff of PT Bimandiri. The results of chain performancemeasurements showed attribute of reliabilities in the advantage position so that theperformance of the supply chain of vegetables should be improved. Attributes ofresponsiveness and flexibility of the firm in a superior position. The result of a suitableagricultural partnership contract analysis to support supply chain performance is theCentralized Model. The company buys vegetables from farmers and then packs thevegetables to distribute to the modern retail. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of leadership style and corporate culture on job satisfaction to enhance employee performance. Exogenous variables in this study is the style of leadership, corporate culture toward job satisfaction as an intervening variable to increase employee’s performance as endogenous variable. The study was conducted at Ruteng small tax office, the sample size is about 49 employee, using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with PartialLeast Square (PLS). The results showed that corporate culture has positive significance effect on job satisfaction and increase employee performance. The effect of leadership style on job satisfaction is positive significant, but negative significant to increase employee performance. The conclusion of this study, in order to increase performance of employees, companies must be able to provide leadership style that is personal attention to employee, corporate culture that can be applied in the form of synergybetween employee and expected job satisfaction is satisfaction with the work itselfKeywords: leadership style, corporate culture, job satisfaction, employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability and analyze the effect of tacit knowledge to product innovation on Creative Craft Industry at Minahasa, North Sulawesi. To answer these purposes, the 60 firms of creative craft are being taken by purposive sampling and Logistic Regression is being applied to those 60 firms of creative craft. Results show that there are 16 firms that are able to produce innovative product and 44 firms that are not able to produce innovative product. Of the 16 innovative firms, it is predicted that there are 6 firms obviously will be able to produce innovative product, and 10 firms are unable to produce innovative product. Of the 44 not innovative firms, it is predicted that there are 42 firms obviously will be unable to produce innovative product but there are 2 firms are able to produce innovative product. Three factors of tacit knowledge, i.e. action learning, concious awareness and demonstrability have a significant effect on innovative product, whereas the four factors of express ability, formal education, informal education and personal experience have no significant effect. It can be concluded that tacit knowledge have an important role to produce innovative products especially in exploiting and exploring three factors of tacit knowledge, i.e. action learning, concious awareness and demonstrability.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the relationship between employee‟s competencyand mutation-related service performance by controling the frequency of mutationrelatedexperience in public employees. Data were collected with accidental samplingtechnique on 90 Riau Province public employees who was having their mutation papersprocessed. Hypotheses tested by employing descriptive statistic, rank-Spearmancorrelation and partial correlation with controling factor. The descriptive test resultindicates that employee‟s competency and their service performance related to mutationis still unsatisfied. The Spearman test result proves the strong and positive relationshipbetween employee‟s competency and mutation-related service performance.Meanwhile, partial correlation with controling factor test result reveals the enhance ofemployee‟s competency and mutation-related service performance relationship aftercontroled by the frequency of mutation-related experience.

Abstract

Abstract: The thesis aims to solve the problem in reducing reject level using PDCA and8 Steps Quality Improvement. The results shows that the most dominant reject cupbecause leak. Root causes of this reject caused by limitation of training to operator,machine problem, no machine setting guidance and usage of more than one type ofmaterial. Base on the root causes then improvements that have been made are operatortraining, improved the machine, producing guidelines for setting the machine, andallocation of material every single type of material in a period of time.Keywords: PDCA, 8 Steps Quality Improvement, Reject Cup Forming.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of organic vegetable supply chains in each member chain to determine the direction of improvement in the fulfillment of consumer needs optimally. The performance of supply chains at the farm level will be differentiated by individuals and commodities. The analytical method used is the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model taking into account the internal and external attributes. The primary data used is taken through observation and interview process, meanwhile secondary data obtained from related institutions. The results of measuring the performance of organic vegetable supply chains at all levels of the responsiveness and flexibility attributes have achieved the superior performance position. Meanwhile, the value of organic vegetable supply chain performance on asset attributes at the farm level only reaches a good position. But at the corporate level has reached the best performance position (superior). In general, the performance of the organic vegetable supply chain on the cost attribute still has not achieved good performance. So there is the need for improvement efforts through minimization of cost in each supply chain activity to improve performance.

Abstract

Abstract. The retail business in Indonesia is now growing significantly, and the competitionis getting more strict and more open. To grow successfully and survive in the middle of astrict competition, the company need to notice the quality and performance of the humanresources. The purpose of this research is to know what is the impact of Work Training,Leadership and Work Environment to the quality of the employment (at Crew Level) atbranches of PT Midi Utama Indonesia in Jakarta. Convenience sampling was use as samplingmethod at taken by population of employees crew-level in Jakarta which totaled 1,212employees. Based on a population that exist with using slovin formulas, the margin error 10%then obtained a sample of respondents as many as 92 .The analysis method used in this studyis multiple regression. Results are showing that Work Training, Leadership, and WorkEnvironment have a significant impact on the employee's performance. The conclusion is thatemployee's performance at crew level at the brances of PT Midi Utama Indonesia in Jakartaare influenced by the Work Training, Leadership and Work Environment. To increase theemployee's performance, firm could plan and implement the training program design. On theother hand, every leader at each branches of PT Midi Utama Indonesia must improve a goodrelationship between it's employee so it will create a condusive work athmosphere. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of Islamic mutual funds compared to conventional mutual funds. Comparison of the two types of mutual funds is measured by return, risk, fund performance, and the ability of the Investment Manager of the two types of mutual funds. Research conducted on the types of shares mutual funds in the period 2008-2012. Fund performance measured by return and risk (portfolio beta and standard deviation), Sharpeindex, Treynor index, index of Jensen's Alpha, Modigliani and Modigliani (MM)model, and Treynor and Treynor (TT) model. The ability of the Investment Manager is evaluated in terms of security selection and market timing ability as measured by Henriksson-Merton and Treynor-Mazuymodel.The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is Independent T Test. The results showed in general there are nosignificant differences between Islamic mutual funds with conventional mutual fund.Keywords: performance, mutual fund, sharia, conventional
