Abstract

Abstract. This study porpose to examine the effect of job stress on job satisfaction, jobstress on organizational commitment, Job Satisfaction to organizational commitment,stress work to move intention, job satisfaction to move intention, organizationalcommitment to move intention, indirect influence between work stress Organizationalcommitment to job satisfaction, job stress on. The sample in this research is 40 medicalrepresentatives of PT. Pharmaceutical Industry Gracia Pharmindo Branch of NorthSumatra, Technique of completion of this research data using the interview, andquestionnaire. Data analysis technique used is Path Analysis. Abstract

Abstract: This research is performed to test the influence of independent variables Purchase from related parties and third parties, Sales to related parties and third parties individually to earning after tax and knowing the most dominant independent variables towards earning after tax. Sampling 8 automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from population 12 automotive company. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data consisted of the cross section is 8 automotive and the time series 5 year period, amounting 40 data. Analysis of thedata used is a panel data regression. Hausman test performed using a Random Effects Model or Fixed Effects Model, having obtained the data processing model testing tstatistic. Based on the results of research, Purchase from Related Parties and Sales to third parties individually not significantly effect to earning after tax, Purchase from third Parties and Sales to Related parties individually significant effect to earningafter tax.Keywords: Purchase from related parties, Purchase from third parties, Sales to related arties, Sales to third parties, Earning after tax

Abstract

This paper aims to examine housewives self-reported intention to buy counterfeit products by employing the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as the research framework. In total, 600 housewives completed a survey questionnaire measuring their responses to seven constructs in the TPB. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used as the technique for data analysis with two step approach. The results of this study showed that overall the variables in the TPB model (attitude, subjective norms, perceived control behaviors) were able to explain and predict housewives intention to buy counterfeit products. Attitudes toward behavior have a greater influence on intentions to buy. Additional variables that are included: values were able to explain and predict attitudes toward buying behavior, past behavior was able to explain and predict perceived behavioral control, and social status could explain and predict housewives intention to buy counterfeit products.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to evaluate the deviation between planned Cost of GoodsManufacturing with actual Cost of Goods Manufacturing (COGM) in PT. TMMIN thatexceeding 10%. The obtained priority issues is the procurement of Spring Guide Set DBAGS-Dcomponent. A localization activity is designed against Spring Guide Setcomponent procurement through several local suppliers, namely PT. HMI, PT. IT, andPT. JAPM. The analysis includes three aspects: cost, delivery time, and quality. ToyotaBusiness Practice (TBP) is applied in this study. Toyota Business Practice is a problemsolving method that consists of eight steps ranging from problem identification,determination of the root of the problem to the standardization activities. In the TBP,some calculations costs through cost estimation analysis approach and calculation ofdepreciation using the Sum of the Year Digits is taken into account. Throughlocalization activity, it is expected the import costs in the procurement of componentscan be reduced, in line with expected delivery and quality aspects. The results show therecommendations of selected supplier are PT. IT for then negotiated the cost reductionand PT. JAPM for quality improvement of the products offered.

Abstract

Abstract. Research aim to analyze 1) influence of actual, ideal, social and social ideal self-congruity on Iphone brand satisfaction. 2) Influence of actual, ideal, social and social ideal self-congruity self-congruity on Iphone brand loyalty. 3) Influence of brand satisfaction on Iphone brand loyalty. 4) The role mediation of brand satisfaction within influence of actual self-congruity, ideal self-congruity, social self-congruity, social ideal self-congruity on Iphone brand loyalty. Sample has taken by using non probabilty sampling with purposive sampling technique. Respondents are Iphone user in Malang City who made personally purchase decision with has used Iphone about 1 year. Research’s samples are 140. The hypothesis tested by Partial Least Square analysis. The research results actual, ideal and social ideal self-congruity influence on brand satisfaction then brand satisfaction influence on brand loyalty. Brand satisfaction had mediation within influence of actual, ideal dan social ideal self congruity on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Abstrak: The study examines the effect of work motivation, career development, workenvironment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction as interveningvariable. The research approach is a quantitative approach through the method of data collectionusing questionnaires. The sample was totally 158 respondents. Research using analysis ofStructural Equation Model (SEM) that run through AMOS 18.00 software in seeing the influenceof exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The results showed that work motivation in apositive and significant effect on job satisfaction, career development is not a positive andsignificant effect on job satisfaction, work environment in a positive and significant effect on jobsatisfaction, work motivation is not positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, career development is a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, work environment is not positive and significant effect on organizational citizenshipbehavior, job satisfaction is positively and significantly influence the organizational citizenshipbehavior and work environment through job satisfaction has positive influence on organizationalcitizenship behavior. Other findings are organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) can beincreased due to the work environment, but on the condition that the employees are satisfiedfirst.Keywords: Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Job Satisfaction, Work Motivation,Career Development, Work Environment.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is conducted to analyze andreveal the influence of PrincipalLeadership and work motivation on the Performance of teachers in SMK Budi MuliaTangerang. Principal's leadership role in the process of moving, influencing andguiding others in order to achieve organizational goals is the role to be performed aswell as the leadership of the principal motivation influences from within and outsidemotivation. Research methodology used was a survey method is descriptive analytic.Techniques used in the determination of the sample is saturated sampling (census) inwhich all members of the population sampled. The results of the study showed theinfluence of the principal's leadership and work motivation on the performance ofteachers in vocational high school Budi Mulia Tangerang. The influence of principalleadership effects on teacher performance, especially on intellectual developmentdimension to the dimensions of work ability and initiative, inspiring dimensions to thedimensions of the initiative, the influence of ideal dimensions to the dimensions ofwork ability and discipline, each has a strong-enough relationship while on workmotivation has a strong relationship, particularly on the dimensions of the inside of thedimensions of initiative..Keywords: principalleadership, work motivation, teacherperformance.

Abstract

Along with the increase in government programs to accelerate infrastructure development, the construction industry in Indonesia has faced intense competition which has forced construction companies in Indonesia to be efficient in order to remain profitable.  This study is aimed to measure the efficiency of construction companies in Indonesia.  Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA)is used for the research method and data is obtained from the companies’ yearly report in the period 2010-2016 listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.  The results of the study show that state-owned enterprises (BUMN) are more efficient than private companies. This is due to the large number and value of the project from the government in the field of infrastructure.  The study has important implications for the the government to warn state owned companies to stay efficient yet profitable when facing foreign competitions.  Since the study showed that companies with large revenue (sales) and low cost are efficient.  The private companies ought to seek bigger sales from government projects

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research is to analyse the factors which influence the pricevolatility of tin commodity. Monthly basis data were collected from 1990 to 2015. Weemployed ARCH-GARCH models and verified by interview with tin expert. Theresults showed that model EGARCH (1,1,1) is the best model to explain the pricevolatility of tin commodity. Changing factors from crude oil price, copper price, leadprice and T-Bill 3M were significantly affecting volatility in tin price. Experts believethe high volatility from 2001 to 2015 led to the difficulties in developing ofdownstream tin industry in Indonesia.Keyword: ARCH-GARCH, Price, Tin, VolatilityAbstract. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi volatilitasharga komoditas timah. Data yang digunakan bersifat bulanan dari tahun 1990 hinggatahun 2015. Metode penelitian menggunakan ARCH-GARCH model dan verfikasidengan interview pakar timah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model EGARCH (1,1,1)merupakan model terbaik menjelaskan volatilitas harga komoditas timah. Faktorperubahan harga minyak mentah, perubahan harga tembaga, perubahan harga timbaldan perubahan T-Bill 3M secara signifikan mempengaruhi volatilitas perubahan hargatimah. Pakar berpendapat volatilitas tinggi sejak tahun 2001 hingga 2015 menyebabkanindustri hilir komoditas timah sulit berkembang di Indonesia.Kata kunci: ARCH-GARCH, Harga, Timah, Volatilitas.

Abstract

Abstract: Human Resources is an important factor for the company, because the human resources which have high performance will support the company's main goal. The company's main goal is to make the company able to survive in the middle of the higher minimum wage in Indonesia, especially in Batam. The purpose of this study was to determine the training and motivation as predictors of employee performance at Production Department PT. Y Batam partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were employees of the Production Departement PT. Y Batam, as many as 147 people, with a sample of 108 employees. Sampling techniques using simple random sampling. Data colecting is using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data is using multiple linear regression by SPSS software version 22. Results showed that training and motivation as predictors of employee performance.Keywords: Training, Motivation, Performance
