Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the learning model for speaking Arabic in the perspective of constructivism theory at Al Muhsinin Kerinci Islamic Boarding School and teachers’ effort in supporting the learning model used. This study started from the discussion of the concepts and models of Arabic learning that are used in several Islamic Education Institutions such as Islamic boarding schools that require conventional method. Al Muhsinin Islamic Boarding School provides learning concepts that make learning active and interactive which teach Arabic speaking skills. The research method used by researchers in this study was descriptive qualitative analytic research. The results showed that the learning model of Arabic speaking skills at Al Muhsinin Kerinci Islamic Boarding School studied contextual learning models consisting of daily communication activities using Arabic, quantum learning models related to independent learning activities and further learning, cooperative learning models including activities morning vocabulary learning and Arabic conversation and problem based learning models in Arabic discussion. Which learning model has fulfilled the characteristics of constructivism in the form of renewal, elicitation, approval of ideas and comments. Related to teacher assistance in supporting the learning model at Al Muhsinin Kerinci Islamic Boarding School, namely by requiring Arabic in daily life, preparing language courts, and strategies that support the environment such as the management of the Arabic league, which is related to cultural, relationships, motivation, and contextual matters in learning Arabic, specifically learning Arabic speaking skills.

Abstract

Abstrac This research was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic so that it was done online through Google Classroom application. The background of this research is the lack of the student’s ability to mastery modhoro’ah fi’il mudhori letters and the deficiency of method using in the learning activities so that the student tends to feel bored. The object of this research is the 2nd-grade student of MTs Al-Musyawarah Lembang. This research used a quasi-experiment method with a nonequivalent control group design. The results of the data analysis are: (1) The pre-test average value of the experiment class is 54.7, while the control class is 66.7. (2) After the treatment, the post-test average mark of the experiment test is 77.3, while the control class is 70. (3) The result of the N-Gain Score test after the use of the singing method on the experiment class is 50.5% that is categorized as Average, while the control class is 5.5% categorized as Low. This research concludes that the use of the singing method is quite a success to improve the ability of students to master the mudhoro’ah fi’il mudhori letters. Abstract

This study aims to determine that the formation of the language environment is a major factor in the success of learning foreign speaking skills especially Arabic. The method used is the library research method (library research), data collection is done by examining and exploiting several journal articles, books, and other sources of information deemed relevant to the study. The formation of a language environment is one of the dominant factors supporting the success of learning Arabic speaking skills. It can be seen that speaking skills are very important language skills. Without an optimal language environment, it is difficult to master it. The results of this study are that the formation of the language environment must be the responsibility of the school manager and all boarding officials by involving all students. Thus, all parties will feel the language environment and support wholeheartedly towards all programs related to the language environment. The formation of the language environment can be done through various linguistic activities, including: developing vocabulary (mufrodat), displaying Arabic vocabulary (posters) in language environment facilities, Arabic language practices in daily communication, Arabic speech and drama practices.

Abstract

Learning Arabic has extraordinary challenges especially now the world is facing the Corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). All learning including Arabic, turns into learning from home or online. At first, this policy was greeted with great joy by educators and students. However, in reality this policy causes confusion and challenges how to keep learning running optimally. This research uses library research method by collecting various data sources from journal articles, seminars, and various other sources relevant to the research topic. Data collection by searching, exploring, assessing data sources, and studying the existing problems, then processed with descriptive content analysis techniques. This study aims to provide an overview of how to optimize Arabic language learning in the New Habit Adaptation (AKB) era by making various adjustments to the learning components. The results of this study are a new strategy design and redesign of several learning components, are adjustment of curriculum, adjustment of learning material, adjustment of learning models and methods, adjustment of learning media, adjustment of the role of the three center curriculum, and adjustment of the assessment or evaluation of learning outcomes for language learning. So, Arabic in the era of New Habit Adaptation (AKB) can run optimally.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya antusias belajar bahasa Arab anak TK/RA B di Kota Semarang. Secara umum guru dan anak TK/RA B masih membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang mendukung dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Untuk itu, peneliti menawarkan solusi dengan mengembangkan media pop up tematik transformasi yang diberi nama ABATAMA sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk anak TK/RA B. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menghendaki media ABATAMA berisi empat komponen yaitu program pengembangan dan kompetensi dasar, materi pembelajaran meliputi (kosakata, mewarnai gambar dan menulis huruf hijaiyyah serta evaluasi seperti puzzle, menelusuri jalan, dan menjodohkan gambar). Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari angket validasi oleh pakar ahli dan tanggapan guru TK/RA, dengan rincian hasil penilaian aspek kelayakan isi dan materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 37. Pada aspek penyajian (tampilan) memperoleh nilai rata-rata 37,4. Aspek bahasa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 38,25. Dari penilaian tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa media ABATAMA memperoleh nilai rata-rata nilai 37,55 dengan kategori sangat baik pada setiap aspek, yaitu nilai masuk pada rentangan lebih dari 30 sampai dengan atau kurang dari 40. Sementara itu, berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT media ABATAMA terhadap media lama meliputi LKS Kelompok B tematik saintifik Kurikulum RA/BA/TA SK Dirjen Pendidikan Islam No. 3489 Tahun 2016 yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga, flash card, huruf hijaiyyah, tape recorder, buku Iqro’ dan Qiro’ati, Maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media baru akan lebih banyak diminati oleh guru dan anak TK/RA B, karena media lama kurang menarik, dan belum sesuai kurikulum bahasa Arab TK/RA B. Sedangkan pada media baru disajikan bertema dan sesuai kurikulum bahasa Arab TK/RA B sehingga meningkatkan kompetensi pemahaman anak TK/RA B dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab

Abstract

Abstract Arabic has an important role as the official international language. Besides, Arabic has become a sacred language for Muslims. Because most of the Islamic religious rituals involve Arabic. The text of the holy book of Muslims (al-Qur'an) also uses Arabic. However, there are still many Muslim pupils with inadequate Arabic language skills. Through qualitative research with this documentation technique, the researcher aims to measure the motivation to learn Arabic in beginner pupils at MAN 4 Banyuwangi 2020, which is focused on reading al-Qur'an skills. The instrument used was the Cunningsworth perspective ARCS model motivation questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the beginner pupils at MAN 4 Banyuwangi 2020 who have high category learning motivation in the Arabic language are more than those who have low category learning motivation in the Arabic language. Abstract

مستخلص البحث الموضوع من هذا لبحث هو العلاقة بين خلفية التربية ورغبة تعلم اللغة العربية بمدة تعلم الطلاب في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية لكلية التربية بجامعة رادين فتاح بالنبانج. الدراسة المثالية هي التعلم في القسم المرغوب الذي يناسب برغبة الطلاب وتنتهي دراستهم في الوقت المناسب. تعليم اللغة العربية بأحوال الطلاب المختلفة تسبب قليل من الطلاب ينتهون دراستهم في الوقت المناسب. ولذالك في هذا لبحث سيبحث هل هناك العلاقة بين هذه الثلاثة المتغيرات. X1,X2 و Y. للإجابة من هذا السؤال، جمعت البيانات بطريقة الإستبانة التي تنتشرها إلى 65 طلبة عشوائيا، وتحللها الباحثة بطريقة إحصائية العلاقة Product Moment و العلاقة الأضعافية و والعلة المعلول المناسبة والعلة المعلول الأضعافية بوسيلة SPSS 16.0 for windows. أما النتائج من هذا لبحث هي: (الأول) هناك العلاقة المناسبة والكبيرة بين خلفية تربية الطلاب (X1) و مدة تعلم الطلاب في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية (Y).وهذه تؤخذ من نتيجة r (person correlation) بعدد 0,400 r> في الجدول 0,244 و نتيجة sig.2 بعدد 0,001<0,05. (الثاني) هناك العلاقة المناسبة والكبيرة بين رغبة الطلاب (X1) و مدة تعلم الطلاب في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية (Y). وهذه تؤخذ من نتيجة r (person correlation) بعدد 0,520 r> في الجدول 0,244 و نتيجة sig.2 بعدد .0,000<0,05 (الثالث) هناك العلاقة المناسبة والكبيرة بين X1 و X2 إلى Y. وهذه تؤخذ من تحليل العلاقة الأضعافية بنتيجة R 0،525 و نتيجة probabilitas (sig.F change) = 0,000. لأن النتيجة sig.F change 0,000<0,05، كلها تدل أن هناك علاقة كبيرة هذه الثلاثة المتغيرات. أما الخلاصة من هذه الثلاثة الفرضيات هي كل Ho مردود وكل Haمقبول. الكلمات الأساسية: العلاقة، خلفية التربية، رغبة التعلم، و مدة الدراسة

Abstract

This research assumes that textbooks contribute to forming students' attitudes and behavior towards the realities that occurred around them. The discussion in this research is formulated interrogatively as follows: 1) How are textbooks considered from a critical pedagogical point of view? 2) What are the advantages and disadvantages of textbooks from the perspective of critical pedagogy? This research is of the type of library research whose analysis is based on a critical pedagogy perspective. In order to facilitate the data analysis process, this research uses the technique of critical discourse analysis. As for writing this research, it is presented in a descriptive and narrative form. This research concludes with the following results: 1) Textbooks do not reach students with low economic levels. 2) No questions in composition and spelling formats 3) The multiple choices exercise was very controlling 4) The textbooks contain many Islamic subjects; 5) The topic in the textbooks did not yet discuss issues around: capitalism, liberalism, secularism, gender equality and other major humanitarian themes.

Abstract

This research aims to present the role of cooperative education in promoting Arabic language skills for non-native speakers, what is its status, how its procedures, and its results. The researcher uses the qualitative approach through the desk study with the content analysis technique. The primary data sources are collaborative learning research published in Google Cendekia Five years ago. The results of this research indicate that the cooperative learning is more applied in the skill of reading, speaking, and writing. And that its procedures or steps use on cooperation and learning centered on students. Abstract

Bilingual area can’t be neglected to acquire language skills because it has considerable influence and roles. By that, This study aims to provide an example of bilingual area policies against punishment and reward at Daruttakwien Boarding School Bekasi. This study present the qualitative descriptive approach and observational studies design. The data for analysis consist of observation, interview, and document. The result indicate that bilingual area in this boarding school consists of several supporting activities such as trilingual speech and themed conversations every week. Punishment and reward have been implemented according to the portion. Punishment that given to language offenders is an educational punishment, and as a form of student motivation, rewards are given accordingly. Keywords: bilingual area, policy, punishment and reward
