Abstract

Purpose of the research is to know how entrepreneur takes an attitude in conducting a successionof entrepreneur generation; to know the relationshipbetween the entrepreneurs characteristics and entrepreneurs’ attitudes towards succession of generations of entrepreneurs. Based on the research and analysis, it was obtained distribution of frequency of six attitudes in succession of entrepreneur generation, where 78.57 percent wanted regeneration with took the attitude of giving freedom for his/her successes in choosing a job or a profession. The entrepreneurs have taken the different attitude in conducting the succession of entrepreneur generation. The result of chi-square test showed a relationship between age and entrepreneur attitude. The characteristic has a significant relationship with entrepreneur attitude in the succession of entrepreneur generation. Abstract

Penguatan kelembagaan di Industri pertaniaan diharapkan akan mampu memberikan andil bagi peningkatan pertumbuhan dan pemerataan ekonomi, bila didukungan oleh pemerintah, BULOG dan KUD. Penguatan kelembagaan BULOG (Badan Urusan Logistik) yang bertugas sebagai pengendali harga dengan mengoptimalkan perannya sebagai penampung hasil pertanian terutama padi dan KUD (Koperasi Unit desa) sebagai penyalur sarana pertanian bagi petani. Pemerintah berperan sebagai supporting system dalam mendukung penuh kedua lembaga tersebut dengan adanya kebijakan (regulasi) dan pendanaan. Dukungan dari ke tiga elemen tersebut diharapkan mampu menciptakan pertumbuhan dan pemerataan ekonomi di Indonesia. Industri pertanian akan semakin maju dengan adanya potensi pendapatan yang meningkat. Investasi akan dengan sendirinya tercipta dan sumber daya akan dapat diserap untuk kegiatan industri pertanian. Trickle Down Effect dan Multiplier Effect akan tercipta karena angkatan kerja akan terserap dalam sector pertanian sehingga angka kemiskinan di sector pertanian akan berkurang. Import beras hanya melukai kerja keras para petani maka seharusnya pemerintah memberikan akses yang maksimal bagi petani sehingga kedepan Indonesia mampu mejaga ketahanan pangan tanpa bergantung dari import.

Abstract

Corporate governance has become an issue of global significance. The improvement of corporategovernance practices is widely recognized as one of the essential elements in strengthening the foundationfor the long-term performance of countries and corporation. It has also been linked to the broader issuesof national governance and action against corruption at all levels of society within the economicframework of countries. In business, investors would pay a substantial premium for well governedcompanies. Indonesia as one of the emerging countries needs to implement the good corporate governanceto cope with the global economy. The stream of interest in this empirical research examines theapplication of good corporate governance in companies based on annual report that affects to thecompany’s market value, measured with Tobin’s Q.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze bank efficiency listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and to empirically determine the effect of bank efficiency listed in BEI toward stock performance reflected in stock returns. The sampling is bank listed in IDX from 2004 until 2008. DEA is used to measure the bank efficiency from each Decision Making Units  (DMUs),which is obtained as the maximum weight ratio of outputs and inputs. The result of banks efficiency using DEA approach indicated that most of Bank in Indonesia is efficient. Only 6 banks from 16 banks which have not yet reached the efficiency score over the 5 years. Meanwhile, the regression test did not revealed any effect of the bank efficiency in Indonesia toward stock return.

Abstract

This research objective is to find out the correlation between organizational commitment andorganizational climate with the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction functions as a dependent variable on this research. There are two variablesfunctioning as independent variables, those are the commitment and the climate of organization. Thehypothesis proposed in this research is divided into one major hypothesis, that is the correlation betweenorganizational commitment and organizational climate with the job satisfaction. Two minor hypothesisproposed in the study are the positive correlation between organizational climate with work satisfaction,and the positive correlation between organizational climate with the job satisfaction. The sample of this research is included three hundreds employees of Muhammadiyah University ofSurakarta, acquired by random sampling technique. Data is collected through questionnaire methodand analyzed by regression method. The result of this research indicates that there is a significant correlation between organizationalcommitment and organizational climate with the work satisfaction, while the dominant free variableand the commitment variable becomes the major contributor in affecting the job satisfaction. Theresearch also indicates that there is a positive and significant correlation between organizationalcommitment and the job satisfaction, in which the continuous and the normative factors become thedominant. This research also proves that there is a significant correlation between organizational climatewith the work satisfaction. The dominant factors are conformity and organization clarity. The other result of this research indicates that there is a very significant difference betweenorganizational commitment, organizational climate and the job satisfaction on many work units wherethe employees work.

Abstract

Holistic Marketing is become new mantra for marketer in this 21 century. The concept builds on 4 pillars which are integrated marketing, internal marketing, performance marketing and relationship marketing. The point of that concept is about the important things is to make relationship to everybody and to every stakeholders. The concepts still on development process by Kotler & Keller. This conceptual article proposed that Holistic Marketing proposed by Kotler & Keller still discuss about horizontal relationship. It is not include the important relationship that should be building by human, which is relationship to God. Those relationship can make organization can apply the concept of HabluminaLLAH, habluminannas dan rahmatan lil ’alamin. The concept proposed as Holistic Marketing 3.0, to make more complete and holistic relationship.

Abstract

This research early from problem not yet is effective officer service of district government in giving public service to society. Proven by existence ofunjust service and delay of arrangement of work, the problem arise because of less its discipline of district government officer and less supporting climate work inarrangement of work. Based on the problem, writer conduct the research with use methode of survey with data collecting technique there are use to bibliographydata, observation, interview and spreading a set questionnaire. The objective of the research were to review and to analyze a relation of discipline work and climate work to effectiveness service of government officer in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon. Hypothesis which writer raise there are (1) There is influence of discipline work government officer of district to service effectiveness, (2) There is influence of work climate to service effectiveness. This research used to doubled linear regression analysis. Based on the result of solution and analysis concerning Influence of discipline work and climate work in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon there are (1) Discipline work an climate work government officer District of Kejaksan it can be good categorized. That is it can be seen from responder answer which majority answer agree. The result of analysis of regression also show the existence of influence which are positive from both variable to effectiveness service public,(2) Variable ofworking discipline (X1) and organizational climate always influence effectiveness service of public in District of Kejaksan, Town of Cirebon. And that 65,1%effectiveness service of public can be explaines by discipline work variable and work climate variable, while the rest 34,9% explained by other causes which there are not yet to check, and then (3) By parsial analize, discipline work and organizational climate have influence to effectiveness service of public.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know and analyze : Indication of earning management in financial statement of Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Researcher uses total accruals from Healy (Arfani and Sasongko, 2005). The resulf of this research is positive of total accruals for four years and negative for one year. It means that there are earning management in financial statement of Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Muamalat Indonesia for four years.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effect of employee relationsconsisting of employee communication, guidance and discipline affect the job satisfaction of employeesof PT. Kartika Tower Buana in Karanganyar and knowing the relationship among the employeerelations of the most dominant influence on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buanain Karanganyar. Based on the results of this research can enrich the study of the phenomenon ofemployee relations and is expected used as a source of information and material for consideration bythe company to increase employee satisfaction. The hypothesis testing in this study using a multiplelinear regression analysis with the t-test, F-test and the coefficient of determination (R2). The populationin this study was all employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buana Karanganyar. While the study samplewas 100 employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buana Karanganyar with accidental sampling as a samplingtechnique. Based on the survey results revealed that communication t-test obtained for 2.845> 1.985so that a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika Tower BuanaKaranganyar. T-test obtained for guidance is 2.936> 1.985 so that a positive and significant effecton job satisfaction of PT. Kartika Tower Buana employee. T-test obtained for discipline is 5.234>1.985 so have positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika TowerBuana Karanganyar. Based on calculations simultaneously T-test obtained is 36.488> 2.68 so thatcommunication, guidance and incentives together have a positive and significant effect on jobsatisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buana Karanganyar. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.533; meant that communication, guidance, discipline can explain the causes of the rising and falling job satisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buana Karanganyar by 53.3%, while the remaining 46.7% can be explained by other variables outside the model. The calculations show that discipline is a variable that has a value of beta coefficient greater when compared with the performance, that is equal to 0.415. This suggests that discipline is the most dominant influence on job satisfaction of employees of PT. Kartika Tower Buana Karanganyar compared with guidance and communication.

Abstract

The price of soybean in Indonesiasome times have soared uncontrollable. The producer (especially micro enterprises) of tofu and tempe are no longerable to produce in that situation. Consequently the amount of tofu and tempe are rarely in the market, meanwhile they are one of the important needs of Indonesian people. In fact, the government adopted a policy of instant such as remove import duties on imported soybeans. The policy was not strategic and could be fatal, because the country would be flooded by soybean imports.While farmers were getting ready to go out of business. With quantitative and qualitative approaches, this paper analyzed regarding (1)to analyze the impact of increasing soybean price to operating income of tempe producers with operating income analysis (2)to analyze strategy of adjustments made by the producers of tempe to preserve their business with in depth interview. This analysis concluded that Operating income declined more than a half. That condition is very hard  to continue their business. If the capital of producers of tempe was not enough strong,  they would be going out of their business.  In such difficult conditions, they did innotive strategy by reducing the size of tempe though at the same price..
