Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the application of GLS or the School Literacy Movement in Cluster 01 Elementary School, Singgahan District, Tuban Regency. This study uses qualitative research with a case study research design. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that, the application of the School Literacy Movement in the Cluster 01 Elementary School in Singgahan District was still at the habituation stage, namely 1) through reading aloud for about 15 minutes before learning for the low class and heart reading for the high class, 2) making a reading corner in each class, and 3) provide school library facilities. In implementing the School Literacy Movement there are still some obstacles including: 1) the lack of reading books; 2) lack of interest in reading students; 3) the teacher has not fully carried out this activity; 4) lack of guidance from the local education office about this School Literacy Movement; 5) and parents of students who are somewhat indifferent to the needs of children in order to support the School Literacy Movement. Whereas efforts to overcome obstacles during the implementation of the School Literacy Movement are: 1) seeking the fulfillment of reading books and library facilities by allocating funds for School Operational Costs (BOS); 2) SDN Saringembat I frees students to choose whenever students want to read, it does not have to be 15 minutes pre-learning so that a carpet is provided in the reading corner for them to use as a base for seating when they want to read; 3) SDN Saringembat I in order to improve the quality of GLS implementation by discussing and collaborating with other schools on the occasion when gathering at the Teacher Working Group activities in group 01 and the Principal Working Group (KKKS) or to other schools that are also GLS reference schools.

Abstract

This research and development aims to developing a learning model Guided Project Based Learning that can be implemented for slow learners or slow learners or normal students in one learning environment. This model was applied in Multimedia II course in STIKI Malang visual communication design study program for five meetings.The development method for developing this Guided Project Based Learning learning model uses the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carey. The steps of developing a learning model using the ADDIE development model consist of 5 steps, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The sample in this study was the 5th semester visual communication design student where there were slowlearner students. Data was collected by mapping through the stages of psychological testing.The results of the mapping found 1 student with special needs slow learner type. Implementation of the GPBL model proves students can understand the material and follow systematically the design of simple games. In addition, the student is actively able to explain game design concepts.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze a) the tradition of the terrestrial Madurese community, b) the planning of the development of the value of social care through the terrestrial tradition in learning social studies. 3) Implementation of the development of the value of social care through the tradition of tererer in learning social science.This type of research is a Mixed Method with exploratory type (form) in the form of ethnographic research and classroom action research. Retrieval of data using observations, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is done by confirming the results of observations, interviews, documentation. Data credibility testing is done by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation of data, member checks, and references. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman.The results showed that 1) Ter -ater means sharing fortune with relatives, neighbors, teachers and people who are considered worthy of delivery. 2) Planning the development of social care values through the Terterer tradition in social studies learning is carried out with the KD analysis in accordance with the tererier tradition is KD3.2. and KD.3.3. 3) The implementation of the development of the value of social care through this terrestrial tradition is carried out by using two-cycle class action research. Furthermore, the results of the study showed that the first cycle was held four times. In cycle 1 it was found that the teacher had not been able to reach the activities of all students in the class and the learning activities were still very much dominated by the teacher. In the implementation of cycle 2 using the value approach and the learning approach to do this can increase the value of student care through the tererated tradition. The enthusiasm of students can be seen well when assigned to be involved in the activities of tererer in their environment, and students can focus their attention on the material presented

Abstract

The study aims to improve the student skills in writing The Javanese Script and learning activities through group discussion assisted by letter cards in the 6th-grade students of SD 1 Prambatan Kidul Kudus Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles using The Javanese Script cards as the learning media and group discussion as the learning method. Research data were collected using nontest techniques (classroom observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation collection) and test techniques (individual written tests). Quantitative data were the scores of The Javanese Script writing skill were analyzed descriptively and qualitative data were the result of learning activities observations that converted into scores and categorized classically. The Pre-cycle stage test score category consisted of poor (62.16%) and fair scores (37.84%), with students had reached learning mastery standard by 37.84%. The Cycle I stage test score category consisted of poor (27.03%), fair (56.76%), and good scores (16.22%), with students had reached learning mastery standard by 72.97%. The Cycle II stage test score category consisted of fair (48.65%), good (40.54%), and very good scores (10.81%), with students had reached learning mastery standard by 100%. The classical learning activities observations are classified as good, both in Cycle I and Cycle II were 70.27% and 71.89%, respectively. Thus, the method of group discussion assisted by letter cards is proven to improve the student skills in writing The Javanese Script and learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-comics as a learning medium to improve life skills of young children. The approach used is research and development. This research method is a mixed methods design. The subjects in this study were kindergarten students group B, teachers and head master Batik Kindergarten Kudus. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. e-comic was developed referring to the stages of development carried out by Borg and Gall. The results showed that e-comic learning media is feasible to be applied in learning to improve early life skills of children. Quantitatively, the assessment of material experts is (3.87) in either category. Expert assessments are based on curriculum appropriateness, correctness of content and ways of presenting the material included in both categories), and media expert assessments obtained scores (4.0) media expert assessments are based on production considerations, visual design, and technical quality, scores (4.0) in either category. While the assessment given by students in the field test stage (3.88), wider field test (3.99), and operational test (3.91), the acquisition of the score indicates that the e-comic learning media is categorized as good, which means that e-comic learning media are effectively used to improve early life skills. Qualitatively, e-comic media as a learning medium to improve life skills can attract students' attention to learning, facilitate student learning, and stimulate students to remember material more easily.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of hard skills and soft skills on the innovation abilities of Islamic school teachers in Jakarta and Tangerang which are mediated by organizational culture. Data collection is done by simple random sampling via electronic to the teacher population in Jabodetabek. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 667 samples. Data processing using SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software.The results of this study conclude that hard skills and soft skills have a positive and significant effect on the ability of teacher innovation, both directly and indirectly through mediating organizational culture. This study proposes a model for building the innovation ability of Islamic school teachers among teachers in Jakarta and Tangerang through enhancing hard skills and soft skills with organizational culture as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve teacher readiness in facing the era of education 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of digital information services with self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information.This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study was all social studies students of class X. XI, and XII in SMA N 2 Bantul Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 Academic Year, totaling 111 students. Intake by using quota random sampling technique by taking 25% of the number of class XII students that is a number of 35 students. Data collection methods in this study used a validated questionnaire with logical validity. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis.The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between digital information services and self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information, by knowing the results of the calculation of rx1y = 0.741 with (P) 0,000 kurang dari 0.01, which means there is a positive and significant correlation between digital information services and self-adjustment (independence of character) of students majoring in social studies in obtaining higher education information. Implications in this study, schools should provide an intensive digital information service in accordance with the needs of students, so students will have comprehensive information about several aspects that exist in themselves as well as directions about higher education information services that are expected by students in develop their talents, interests, and potentials, so that they will influence and enhance the attitude of independence of good students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis saintifik kontekstual, dengan mengetahui kelayakan terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas V SDN Karang Tumaritis pada mata pelajaran IPA materi peristiwa alam beserta mitigasi bencana yang terdapat pada KD 3.3 Mengidentifikasi perubahan yang terjadi di alam, hubungannya dengan penggunaan sumber daya alam, dan pengaruh kegiatan manusia terhadap keseimbangan lingkungan sekitar. Indikator 3.3.1 Mengidentifikasi peristiwa alam, 3.3.2 Mendiskusikan dampak terjadinya bencana dan cara mitigasi bencana, 3.3.3 Mensimulasikan mitigasi bencana alam yang terjadi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 3D yang terdiri dari pendefinisian (Define), perencanaan (Design), dan pengembangan (Develop). Berdasarkan uji kelayakan LKPD yang dilakukan oleh tim ahli, diperoleh skor rata-rata kelayakan oleh tim ahli pembelajaran IPA yaitu 84% dengan kategori interpretasi “Sangat Layak”, skor rata-rata kelayakan oleh tim ahli media pembelajaran yaitu 78,4% dengan kategori interpretasi “Layak”, skor rata-rata kelayakan oleh tim ahli bahasa yaitu 85,3% dengan kategori interpretasi “Sangat Layak”. Kata kunci: LKPD, Saintifik Kontekstual, Peristiwa alam beserta mitigasi bencana

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to know effect of academic supervision on the professional competencies of elementary school teacher, 2) to know the effect of classroom action research training on the professional competencies of elementary school teachers, 3) to know effect of academic supervision and classrooom action research training on the professional competencies of elementary school teacher. The subject of this study werw all elementary school teachers in all subdistrict of Undaan Kudus regency. This study uses a quantitative contribution method with regression analysis techniques. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection research using questionaire. The validity of data uses construct validity bay way of experiential juggment. Data analysis was perfomed using regression analysis techniques in the form of simple and multiple regression. The results of study showed that academic supervision had an effect on techer professional competence of 32,0 %. Whereas classroom action research training has an effect on  teacher professional competence of 39,1%. Academic supervision and classroom action research training together have an effect on teacher professional competence of 46,6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are 1) knowing the application of the work discipline of teachers in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok, 2) knowing the application of student learning discipline in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok, and 3) knowing the effect of the teacher's work discipline on the learning discipline of fourth grade students in the SDN 02 Sawangan Depok.This research uses a quantitative approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 students as respondents. Test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire in this study using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program with type 21.00.The results showed that 1) based on the results of the rating scale analysis test obtained a questionnaire value of 1150 with intervals ranging from 1081-1440. This means that the application of the work discipline of teachers in SDN 02 Sawangan Depok in the category of "Very Good". 2) the application of student learning discipline in class IV at SDN 02 Sawangan Depok based on the results of the scalae rating analysis test obtained a questionnaire value of 1494 the interval ranged from 1441-1920, so it can be concluded student discipline in the SDN 02 Sawangan Depok in the category of "Very Good". 3) there is a significant influence between the teacher's work discipline on student learning discipline at SDN 02 Sawangan Depok which is supported by a correlation number of 0.409 bigger than rtable 0.374 at a significance level of 5% and also the results of the F test which show an Fcount of 5.617 bigger than Ftable of 4.20. Because the value of the correlation test shows rcount bigger than of rtable and the results of a simple regression test show that Fcount bigger than Ftable it can be stated that the hypothesis there is an influence between the teacher's work discipline variables on student learning discipline is accepted. While seen from the coefficient of determination (R) of 16.7% it is known that the influence between the teacher's work discipline variables on student learning discipline is 16.7% which is quite influential.
