Abstract

Aims of this study explain 1) the process of implementing academic supervision that has been running in the city of Salatiga; 2) how to develop a web-based academic supervision model in improving the quality of education; 3) and find out the results of the effectiveness of web-based academic supervision models in improving the quality of education through limited trials. This type of research is Research and Development (R and D). This research development step uses the Borg and Gall model which is integrated with the PLOMP model. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were obtained from interviews and analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques according to Miles and Huberman consisting of data (1) data reduction; (2) data presentation; and (3) conclusions and verification. The results from the questionnaire are calculated to get an average value. Limited trials were conducted by 5 supervisors and 5 teachers with an average yield of 89.92% for supervisors in the excellent category and 89% for the excellent teacher category. Judging from the results of limited trials, this study was declared effective for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the problems of mathematics in "thematic learning at the SD / MI level.This research uses a qualitative approach. The qualitative research design was carried out with a library research (library research) using various sources of literature as a source of research data. Sources of data in this study consist of secondary data and primary data. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively which was presented systematically and objectively.The results of the study are students feeling bored, afraid when learning mathematics, the teacher still dominates in the learning process, the problems or problems conveyed by the teacher are still not contextual with the students' real life. Media, methods, strategies, and learning models applied by teachers do not pay attention to the characteristics of students. The thematic learning process of basic mathematics competence has not yet paid attention to the characteristics of mathematics learning, students have difficulty in understanding foreign symbols and languages. Solution to the problematics of mathematics in thematic learning, namely the teacher pays attention to 5 factors in the process of learning mathematics, namely personal, instructional, environmental, identity and socio-cultural factors. So the mathematical achievements of students can increase and have high-level thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perspective of new tutors using Moodle at the Universitas Terbutka (UT).This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The research informants were seven new UT lecturers with different educational backgrounds. Researchers used a questionnaire to investigate new tutor perspectives on Moodle's performance. The questionnaire is closed which consists of 8 questions. In the questionnaire, the researcher modified the questions by classifying the range of responses with 5 scales: strongly agree, agree, doubt, disagree, strongly disagree. In applying the questionnaire, the researcher took two steps. First, researchers distributed questionnaires to study participants. Second, researchers began to extract, analyze, and conclude the data that had been collected using a questionnaire. In extracting data from the questionnaire, the researcher developed an analytical method based on Dey's theory which consists of describing phenomena, classifying them, and seeing how our concepts are related.The results reveal that there are three main things in relation to the new tutor's perspective: friendly to use, simple modification features, and convenient assessment tools. The results of this study are a major concern for tutors because this aspect is an important part that can support teaching and learning activities when using Moodle.

Abstract

This study aims to find the right design that can be used by students in achieving 4C abilities (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity).This research is a Research and Development research with this research stage starting from needs analysis, drafting design, validation, testing and final revision. This research was conducted at two different elementary schools in the City of Tasikmalaya. The LKS test was conducted by describing the changes in the results of the LKS entries by grade 5 students in groups at two different elementary schools in the city of Tasikmalaya, West Java. The resulting design is a LKS that is based on the STEM learning stages and the revision LKS is based on the results of student entries in the LKS. The results of this LKS become an indication of how students can complete assignments by understanding the various commands or activities contained in the LKS in writing.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a soft skills model based school culture for character education for elementary school students.This study is a Research and Development study with a modified Sugiyono model. This research was conducted in 3 elementary schools in the target area of III, Jekulo District, Kudus Regency. Data collection techniques using test techniques and non-test techniques. Data analysis in this study was carried out descriptively quantitative and statistical tests using t-test.The results of the research were in the form of a soft skills model design product based on school culture which had components of goal setting, soft skill values, school culture and character education. The soft skills model based on school culture is suitable for use as a learning model in elementary schools. The results of the t test show that t count bigger than t table, so that the soft skills model based on school culture is effectively applied in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the skills of playing angklung musical instruments in elementary school children. The research method in this research is descriptive research with observation, documentation and interview data. The research was conducted at SD Private Syafana Islamic School with the subjects studied were 10 children who were a combination of low classes, namely class 1,2,3. Data analysis using descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results showed that the skills to play angklung consisted of 1) preparation consisting of recruiting children to enter extra angklung musical instruments. 2) Preparation, formulate learning objectives to play angklung, determine methods in playing angklung skills 3) implementation. a) the teacher conveys the learning objectives and provides material about the angklung musical instrument b) the teacher demonstrates the angklung, how to hold, how to play the resulting tone. c). given training using angklung and 4) evaluation by holding an art performance playing angklung which is held in schools through audience appreciation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of didactic communication, collaborative learning, and teacher performance on learning motivation in Economics Subjects in class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Purwosari, also to determine the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes. This research is a type of quantitative research. The data analysis technique used is structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The data used came from 107 respondents collected from March to April 2019. The results of this study indicate that only collaborative learning variables affect learning motivation, but learning motivation has no significant contribution to learning outcomes. Didactic communication variables and teacher performance were also not confirmed to have a substantial effect on learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to draw a link between various versions or variants in the folklore of Langsa City to obtain local wisdom content that is intended to be utilized to strengthen the identity of the Langsa City community as a plural society. The method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research types and field studies. This research consists of three stages, namely documenting or collecting data, classifying or classifying and analyzing. The main data was obtained directly by researchers through interviews with informants and observations with natural settings. In collecting research data, several kinds of methods are used, namely observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. Data analysis in qualitative research is carried out during data collection and after completing data collection within a certain period.The results of the folklore analysis With the majority of its classification as oral folklore. The folklore of Langsa city origin can be analyzed from the approach of language, background of toponim and development of the form of folklor. The implementation of local wisdom in the cultural and social system is found in local wisdom meulaot, peulara uteun and duek pakat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop design of blended learning model, and then call Blended Cooperative Learning model (BCL). This research is research development. Stages of the research use Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel development model. this study limited by 3 stages. There are the define stage, the design stage,  and the developing stage. This research was attended at STIKI Malang in Informatics Engineering students taking Numerical Method courses. Data collection techniques used validation sheets for the design of BCL Model and materials to two validators. Data analysis uses average scoring. The results of this study are design of BCL model and materials. The materials are materials learning in LMS, RPP, and worksheets. The results of this study is design of blended learning Blended Cooperative Learning is feasible to use.

Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan dilapangan khususnya di SD1 Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus dalam mata pelajaran IPA, siswa masih cenderung pasif,enggan dan bosan untuk belajar IPA. Hal ini karena didalam pembelajaran masih banyak berpusat pada guru, kegiatan yang dilaksanakan masih kurang bermakna bagi siswa ,sehingga hasil belajar siswa masih rendah, terbukti dari nilai pre tes mata pelajaran IPA adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 21 siswa, hanya 9 siswa yang mencapai KKM, jadi masih berada dibawah standar nilai belajar tuntas yaitu 7,0, keadaan ini sangat memperhatinkan kita. Para guru IPA sangat bertanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Salah satu usaha yang dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar dalam mata pelajaran IPA yaitu metode inkuiri, barangkali bisa menjadi salah satu pilihan untuk mengajar beberapa pokok bahasan dalam pelajaran IPA khususnya meteri bentuk energi Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pembelajaran Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA melalui inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa SDN 1 Ngembalrejo Bae Kudus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penilitian tindakan kelas yang terdidri 2 siklus.Tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan,pelaksanaan tindakan ,observasi,dan refleksi.Data yang diperoleh peneliti yaitu data aktivitas siswa dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing dan hasil belajar IPA. Hasil penilitian pada siklus 1 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan scor rata-rata aktivitas siswa belajar IPA dari katagori cukup baik dengan presentasi 64,20 % pada siklus 1, meningkat menjadi 85,14% katagori baik pada siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan,bahwa metode inkuiri terbimbing dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
