Abstract

Kompleksivitas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh institusi pendidikan baik yang bersumber dari khalayak internal maupun dari khalayak ekseternal menuntut adanya perhatian serius dari pengelola lembaga pendidikan untuk membentuk dan menunjuk orang khusus sebagai petugas Humas di lembaga pendidikannya, sehingga melalui penelitian kepustakaan (library research) atau juga disebut studi pustaka ini, penulis mengumpulkan data pustaka, membaca, mencatat dan mengolah dari berbagai sumber. Sumber data utama adalah dari buku dan jurnal yang membahas tentang pengelolaan kehumasan dalam lembaga pendidikan serta didukung oleh pengalaman pribadi penulis di lapangan dalam mengelola lembaga pendidikan guna memberikan gambaran secara objektif tentang bagaimana suatu lembaga pendidikan dalam membangun hubungan baik dan kesepahaman dengan semua khalayaknya melalui bagian kehumasan, sehingga meminimalisir munculnya permasalahan baik yang bersumber dari publik internal lembaga maupun dari publik eksternal lembaga.

Abstract

Meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui program profesionalisasi sudah bukan hal asing lagi bagi guru, namun kenyataannya profesionalisasi masih belum maksimal dilaksanakan. Dibutuhkan adanya suatu dorongan atau bimbingan dan semacam “pancingan” bagi guru untuk melakukan perbaikan. Dorongan atau bimbingan bagi guru untuk melaksanakan evaluasi dan usaha profesionalisasi dapat dilakukan oleh seorang pemimpin di lembaga tempatnya bekerja, dalam hal ini seorang pemimpin yang dimaksud adalah kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah hendaknya dapat menjadi sosok yang berkontribusi langsung dalam upaya profesionalisasi dan meningkatkan kinerja guru. Bimbingan atau dorongan yang diberikan kepala sekolah kepada guru lebih dikenal dengan istilah supervisi. Kepala sekolah selaku supervisor berkewaiban untuk memahami teknik supervisi dan memberikan layanan yang terbaik kepada guru sehingga bisa memberikan dampak yang positif bagi kemajuan sekolah. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan beberapa teknik supervisi individu yang diharapkan bisa diimplementasikan oleh para supervisor sehingga bisa memberikan dampak pada peningkatan kinerja guru. Tulisan ini merupakan jenis riset kepustakaan (library research) atau juga disebut studi pustaka, karena penulis mengumpulkan data pustaka, membaca, mencatat dan mengolah dari berbagai sumber, sumber data utama adalah dari buku dan jurnal penelitian.

Abstract

Leadership is one of the important things in an educational institution, because a leadership system built by a leader will determine in which direction the educational institution is taken. Spiritual leadership is leadership that brings the worldly dimension to the spiritual dimension (divinity). Like the leadership pattern applied by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely the main characteristics including siddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathanah are able to influence others by inspiring without indoctrinating, realizing without hurting, awakening without forcing, and inviting without commanding. The purpose of this study is to describe the principal's spiritual leadership in improving the character of students at the School. The leadership carried out by the principal is to provide understanding, provide examples and examples, familiarize and conduct controls, evaluation. This paper is a type of library research or also called a literature study, because the author collects library data, reads, records and processes from various sources, the main data sources are from books, research results and journals. Abstract

This article describes the relationship between leadership vision and leader strategy based on Nahwu theory, one of the 12 sciences of Arabic. Nahwu theory provides a deep understanding of the structure of the Arabic language, enabling Arabic speakers to convey messages correctly and providing proper understanding of the Quran and Hadith. Sayyidina Ali bin Abi Talib, an Islamic figure, ordered the compilation of Arabic grammar rules (the science of Nahwu) in response to errors in reading the Quran among Muslims. Nahwu, as the science of grammatical rules, focuses on isim and fiil. This article discusses the concepts of isim and fiil, where isim refers to the name of a thing or idea, while fiil describes an action or activity involving a specific actor and time. In addition, the article discusses the concepts of mu'rob and mabni, related to the final state of the kalimah, and the discussion of nakiroh and makrifah which only apply to the isim kalimah. Leaders who understand Nahwu can apply effective leadership strategies, such as proper word selection, formation of effective sentence structures, adjustment to the context of communication, language consistency, and application of grammar rules. The success of the leader in creating a clean, structured and effective leadership vision will be reflected in his ability to convey messages clearly and in accordance with the desired norms and values.

Abstract

This study aims to find out efforts made in Ar Rahmah Secondary Islamic boarding school to handle bullying. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach methode. In this study, the authors acted as data collectors and as active instruments. Subject of this study were teacher board and some student using purposive and snowball sampling. Datas analized by reduction, displaying and conclusion drawing. Datas validity checked by triangulation of trust, dependence, and certainty. Study concluded there some attemps to deal with and reduce bullying in Ar Rahmah Secondary Islamic boarding school. The attemps derived to three acts. 1) Precaution act: debriefing about bullying, providing examples, 2) Monitoring act: Identifying, receiving reports, collecting information, 3) Enforcement act: providing services, mediating settlements between perpetrators and victims, and enforcing sanctions for bullies.

Abstract

Creating a leadership style that is able to bring its members to improve performance in order to achieve organizational goals is not an easy thing. This is because basically humans have different behavioral characteristics according to the level of their needs. If there is a difference or gap between members' perceptions and leaders' perceptions of the perceived and expected climate, then this will allow the creation of job dissatisfaction from members, so that it can lead to abuse of rights and obligations which ultimately results in organizational goals cannot be met optimally. The school is an organization designed to have an influence on improving the quality of life of the community. Efforts to improve the quality of schools need to be organized, regulated, managed so that the quality of school performance is able to produce graduates who are able to compete in the community. The school management referred to above is related to the leadership style of the principal who is able to realize teacher performance in an effort to improve the quality of educational effectiveness. Principal is one of the most important components of education in improving teacher performance. For this reason, several studies on transactional and transformational leadership styles in the context of schools need to be understood and implemented in order to ensure the achievement of school goals with performing teachers. The purpose of writing this journal is to describe transactional leadership style, transformational leadership style and teacher performance. This study is important to discuss considering that teacher performance is largely determined by the figure of the principal. This paper is a type of library research or also called a literature study, because the author collects library data, reads, records and processes from various sources, the main data sources are from books, research results and journals. This paper is expected to provide benefits for observers who are interested in studying leadership styles and performance, especially those related to activities in schools.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are one of the student development activities. Extracurricular activities are activities carried out by students outside of class learning hours. Extracurricular activities are divided into mandatory extracurricular activities and optional extracurricular activities, which are followed by students who are interested in these activities. This paper aims to (1) reveal the development of extracurricular curriculum (2) Know how the extracurricular curriculum in increasing students' interests and talents. Extracurricular curriculum development is a program or design of educational activities held outside of class hours held by the school authorities to shape the character of students in supporting the achievement of educational goals. In other words, the extracurricular curriculum is part of the education unit curriculum developed by each educational institution tailored to the needs of the school. Meanwhile, schools can function as a medium for developing and fostering children's interests and talents properly, so that they do not merely present abstract and scholastic knowledge.

Abstract

The curriculum is a blue print of an educational institution, through the curriculum prospective guardians and prospective students can see what kind of competency picture will be obtained by their children or personal students. So that in planning the curriculum, managers of educational institutions should understand what they must prepare in planning a curriculum. Therefore, through library research or also called this literature study, the author collects library data, reads, records and processes from various sources, the main data sources are from books and journals that discuss the curriculum and are supported by the author's personal experience in the field in developing the curriculum to provide an objective picture of curriculum planning management.

Abstract

Pendidikan umum di negeri ini memiliki sejarah tersendiri yang berbeda dengan pendidikan agama. Dalam sejarahnya, pendidikan umum lebih menargetkan lulusan yang menguasai ilmu sains dan teknologi. Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah umum belum mendapatkan porsi perhatian yang semestinya. Padahal pengetahuan ilmu agama – khususnya Islam -- pada seorang muslim menjadi sangat penting untuk bekal dalam kehidupannya. Ini menjadi problem tersendiri jika tidak dilakukan inovasi. Tulisan ini memaparkan inovasi yang dilakukan oleh pengambil kebijakan dan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah umum untuk meningkatkan efektifitas pembelajaran PAI di sekolah umum. Inovasi dapat dilakukan di level pengambi kebijakan dengan memasukkan kurikulum PAI di sekolah umum. Inovasi dapat berupa pemberian ekstrakurikuler PAI dengan memberi pembelajaran baca al Qur’an dan pelajaran fiqh. Inovasi juga dilakukan dengan mengadakan pesantren kilat, pondok Romadhan di sekolah umum, serta penggunaan pembelajaran PAI berbasis digital dalam beberapa pelajaran tertentu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of management functions, student management, academic culture development management and alumni management at Islamic religious colleges based on pesantren. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study were obtained from interviews, observations and documentation with the research subjects, namely the head of STAI Luqman Al-Hakim, the vice chairman of student affairs, the head of caring and alumni. The findings of this study PTAI and Islamic Boarding School are able to integrate to achieve the goal of excellence from the uniqueness of PTAI as an academic entity by giving birth to scholars and boarding schools with its function as a preacher / cleric printer. Management functions are aligned and optimal when the vision and orientation are clear and measurable, namely the birth of cadre scholars. Student management is integrated between the development of academic culture and pesantrenan with the optimization of resources, methods of fostering the character of the quran, pesantren culture, educative rules and means (mosques, dormitories, campuses, pesantren) to give birth to alumni who are ready to carry out the task of developing organizations.
