Abstract

AbstractTrader's business behavior in the traditional market environment is reflected in the behavior that appears in the interaction built with other parties. The uniqueness that is highlighted is the trade situation that can not be separated from face to face communication directly, began to be supported by advances in the field of communication technology. Contribution in building interaction among the parties involved is able to generate trust so that communication occurs continuously. What is in the business of the traditional market shows a recognizable and recognizable identity, by seeing the communication style of the merchant, the utilization of the communication tool, the accessories used, and the means of transportation. They are all symbols inherent in the life of the merchant, reflecting the life of the merchant. Meaning of the symbol by others is not much different, because people have the ability to give meaning and assessment of a person. This is the uniqueness of the merchant that is reflected in the daily behavior in the traditional market environment. Abstract

AbstractSeen from the internal public opinion: how do these communications Eddy, the internal public in their daily activities, the effectiveness of communication between the high officials, and how public opinion has been on the leadership style of communication Eddy Rumpoko. In this case, public opinion is presented as feedback from public officials as an internal, the communication style of leadership adopted by Eddy Rumpoko. As a simple guy, did not appear and also close to the people, how public opinion is formed, officials, during work time to accompany Eddy in Batu city government offices. Data collection techniques through the process of observation, interviews and using data documentation and publications to support data collection and analysis process. The analysis is done by emphasizing subjective and field findings. The results of this study is the leadership style of combining a top down and bottom up into a mainstay of Edy Rumpoko. Abstract

Foucault opens this book with a direct introduction to the concept of heterotopia. The term heterotopia is a neologism that Foucault deemed so frightening, for he "secretly destroys the language, for they allow it to give names on this and that, for they destroy and confound the common names, for they destroy the 'syntax' Furthermore". In the first chapter, Foucault made an introduction to what he would describe in depth in his book. He explained technically about the sign system of the Stoic period. Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on a phenomenon in traveling teaching activities by the 1000 Teachers Community, a community that cares about education in the interior and borders of Indonesia. In this activity, volunteers will pay a fee to go to one of the interior in Indonesia, stay for three days and two nights and teach children in schools that need help. In this study, it can be seen how volunteers interpret traveling teaching. Using the constructivist paradigm with the types of phenomenological studies and phenomenological theories. Abstract

This study is manifestation of a non-Western perspective communication research. The dominance of western perspective in communication studies encourages the development of contextual non-Western communication with the source from historical and socio-cultural as a grounded alternative perspective. This study is aims to read the era by examining the historical traces of Prince Diponegoro and post-truth practices that occurred during the Javanese classical propaganda era around the late 18th century and early 19th century. This study uses historiography method through literature review of historical texts related to Prince Diponegoro and social history at that time. The results of this study reveal the fields of production of reality that are influenced by the colonial culture and the practice of de-islamization that separates the local wisdom of the Palace and tradition of the Javanese society. The intersection of Prince Diponegoro’s resistance to the amoral values implies the creation of a negative construction of Prince Diponegoro as a rebel figure who only wants to gain power in the land of Java. The clarity of reading historical reality is important in order to avoid a factual twist as a whole of civilization. Abstract

Good leadership requires competence in communicating with members, how to communicate the leadership of an organization or institution to achieve its goals. In this modern society, more and more women become leaders in their organization which in some parts of society in Indonesia, It is still rare to find women responsible. This study aims to find out more about responsible women in an institution / organization that focuses on how they communicate with their members to achieve goals, so that the title that emerges in this research is "Communication Style in the Frame of Leadership for Women". The focus of this research is to know the style of leadership communication on the female figure. The research used qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, documentation studies and observation. The fourth informants were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that leadership style of communication in this female figure include informative style; directing; confirm; participate; granting delegations; remind; and evaluation. Abstract

AbstractPhotographers can not be separated from social interaction or commonly called human relations, both in communicating with photo models, assistants, teams, and the surrounding environment. The most common area of ​​photography among human interactions is model photography, because in this field the object of the photograph ishuman. In this study, there will be at least two people who interact, ie between the photographer and his model. This study aims to reveal the meaning of verbal interaction of photographers and models in the process of making photographs. The research method used is the interpretive approach study is a method that aims to interpret the case or subject studied. In this case, the data collection technique is done by in-depth interview, observation, and documentation study. The test data validity is done trianggulasi techniques, discussions with colleagues, and member check. The result of this interpretive approach is the verbal interaction of photographers and photo models in the process of making the photographs vary, depending on the photographer and the model determining the role. Abstract

Abstract Research conducted in the city of Malang, East Java in 2017, has been able to describe the behavior, and also reveal the strategy of constructing the behavior of intercultural communication in order to maintain household harmony. Similarly, regarding personal communication model, by emphasizing the factor of openness to be the main in building the values that are favored or referenced, and with that foundation also other factors in personal relationships can easily follow. The method of qualitative naturalistic analysis is interactive, becoming the basic reference for obtaining relevant data. While the use of phenomenology approach, it is useful to explore the personal experience of informants in married life, so it is easy to formulate together with informants about normative concepts that are commonly applied in pragmatic problem solving. The results of this study can find the importance of improving the behavior of intercultural communication between married couples, in order to achieve a harmony relationship through the process of understanding to position his partner and his nearest social environment. The basic principles of family communication are important in addressing common problems, and intimate communication should always be created at every opportunity. Both of these factors can run effectively, if each marriage marriage partner provides an opportunity for her partner to present her role. Abstract

Abstrack This research was conducted to find out what kind of personal communication strategy of teachers to improve student learning motivation in SMK JAWARA PGRI 1 Pasuruan. This research method using single case study with qualitative descriptive approach. This research is done by using object observation and interview to various informants that are directly related. From the research, it was found that personal communication done by the teacher to students and guardians, parents have a significant role in improving students' learning motivation. Personal communication approaches to students and parents need more seriousness and diligence than for teachers, because it takes up more energy, time, energy and also the cost necessary to communicate personally. Abstract

Abstract The delay of the  first aid on the elderly’s diarrhea  to prevent complications like dehydration was caused due to the lack of knowledge about its first aid. Communication of health education is a way to increase their knowledge. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of health education to the elderly’s  knowledge about first aid on diarrhea in working area of Ngadiluwih Health Center Kediri Regency. Research design used in this research was pre-experimental with one-group pra-post test. Population was all ≥60 years old elderly who were active in elderly’s health center and lived in Tales Village Working Area Health Center Ngadiluwih Kediri with 98 samples taken by simple random sampling. The instrument used pre-post test knowledge questionnaires about first aid on diarrhea and then analyzed by Wilcoxon Test. The results of elderly before having health education about first aid on diarrhea, there were 83 respondents (84.6%) who were less knowledgeable, while after having health education 85 respondents (86.7%) were either knowledgeable. Wilcoxon test with p value = 0.000 0.05 thenrefore H0 is rejected, which means there was influence of health education on elderly’s knowledge about first aid on diarrhea in working area of Ngadiluwih Health Center Kediri Regency. Health education and direct information can increase knowledge.
