Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to describe the formation of the personal pranding Pita 's Life vlog on youtube through the analysis of Model Elaboration Likelihood. From this research, it is expected to provide input and advice to the Youtuber to better display content that is better and not detrimental to themselves and others, so as to produce a positive outlook on their personal. The type of research used in this research is qualitative descriptive using the content analysis design. The use of the content analysis method was carried out in this study because the source of the data produced was verbal communication from the vlog of the Ribbon which was then re-identified in writing. The population used in this study was 64 'Pita's Life vlog shows from July to November 2018. The sample used in this study was the Pita Vlog show which only aired a life of 20 husbands and children. This research proves that the formation of the Pita 's Life vlog personal branding on Youtube can be analyzed using the Model Elabation Likelihood. This is because both the central line and peripheral lines in the Elaboration Likelihood Model are both processes in forming the Ribbon personal branding. In the central path, it shows that the arguments uttered by the Pita contain positive things. The argument expressed by Pita is also supported by its quality as a source of messages that appears to have ethos, attractions and power on peripheral lines, so both the argumentation and quality of the Ribbon as a communicator make Pita's vlog show an interesting show to be watched by the public. Abstract

The act of self-injury is an action that will have fatal consequences if left unchecked to occur among teenagers today. Recently, the author saw the proliferation of mass media coverage of cases of depression which led to suicide. Anyone can experience it, especially adolescents who in fact are in a period of emotional development, so even this attracts public attention to examine the main root causes of these actions. But in this article, the author wants to highlight one of the news in Tirto.id's online media which discusses the phenomenon of self-injury for junior high school students that occurred in Riau. In the non-participant observations carried out, the authors see that the online media Tirto.id illustrates the existence of self-injury as a form of depression experienced by junior high school students. The self-destructive actions taken were in the form of slashing one's own hand, slapping himself, hitting the wall, banging his head against the wall, and other acts of self-injury. This phenomenon is relevant to the assumptions contained in social construction theory of reality. Tirto.id said that the phenomenon of self-injury has been widespread, both through social media, videos circulating among junior high school students, that it became viral and constructed as a natural reality carried out by these teenagers, as a form of diversion from depression experienced.Keywords: Phenomenon, Social Construction, Self-Suffering Action, Online Media, Tirto id. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication linkages of disasters with political issues circulating through social media generated in the war socmed with the hashtag in the comments section of netizens. The earthquake that occurred in Bali, Lombok, and the area around West Nusa Tenggara in August 2018 became a polemic because it was juxtaposed with existing political issues. Aftershocks also occur repeatedly with a scale of 7.0 Scale Ritcher devastating most of the city of Lombok and its surroundings. With the development of time and technological advances, propaganda emerged with other forms, which were not only aimed at politics and power, propaganda also emerged with the aim of seeking profit, sympathy, and support. Propaganda can also be defined as a play of words in communication where the formulation of messages is arranged without consideration of right or wrong. Political battles do not only occur in television discussions, political campaigns, political advertisements, but also occur on social media through hashtags. This is supported by the presence of social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Social media was targeted for netizens to conduct judgments, argumentation and political propaganda through a neutralized hashtag. This study uses qualitative research methods with analysis of discourse reconstruction and language. In principle, the hashtag analysis #2019 Change President, throws the hypothesis: 1) Will the President Change?; 2) Why Must Hashtag #2019 Change President?; 3) Is it true that a disaster occurs due to the negligence of a leader? This hypothesis is made to be used in truth in academic studies. From this study, it will be seen how social media is very influential on a condition of disaster communication links with political issues. Abstract

Nowadays, industry and politicians often use audio visuals to package their messages on an advertisement. For example, the election of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, where one of the candidates uses a video campaign on YouTube. This media has been dominated by a juvenile audience that can be categorized as swing voters in political concepts. Therefore, this study aims to find out how audio visual campaigns can be accepted by swing voters. Researcher used the Reception Analysis method to see how the audience received media exposure. The results of this study indicate that Anies-Sandi campaign ads are interpreted as egalitarian by the audience, and are able to display SARA problems with the concepts of harmony and tolerance. However, the Anies-Sandi campaign ad does not have a clear message because the message that delivered is very conceptual. Abstract

Abstract Public service is one of the activities that must be carried out by the institution properly. Every institution, including schools, has internal and external publics that need to be served. One of the external publics for SLBN A in Bandung City is the academic public who conducts research, service, and teaching practice for SLB teacher candidates. The intensity of academic public visits is quite high, so excellent public service communication is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication model of academic public service in SLB Negeri A Bandung City. The method used is exploratory case study, with a single case. Data collected by interview, observation and literacy tracking. The informants were chosen purposively consisting of management at the school, teachers, students, parents of students, alumni, and also the academic public itself. The results show that: communicators or parties providing services to the academic public are Administrative, Public Relations, School Principals, RD Coordinators and Teachers. The message conveyed is about the communication procedures in academic public services which have seven stages. The media used are face-to-face communication (formal and informal) and media communication (Whatsapp, Telephone, Correspondence and Disposition). The communicant is an academic public including students, lecturers, researchers and observers who carry out the PPL / PPG / PKL program, final research (thesis, thesis and dissertation), non-final research (grants and projects). Academic public feedback is carried out by providing research reports to SLBN A Bandung. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine whether communication and interaction in outbound training activities affect employee working behavior. The population of this study were employees, practitioners and teachers from several companies and educational institutions in the Malang region, Pasuruan, Mojokerto, Sidoarjo and Surabaya totaling 376 people, who held outbound training activities with the Training Institute and Human Resource Developers (LPP-SDM ) Nabhan Star with a total sample of 79 people. Using classical assumption test analysis, the coefficient of determination and simultaneous and partial testing are then tested by hypothesis. The results of the study explained: 1). Outbound training activities through communication and interaction simultaneously have an effect on employee collaboration behavior. This is evidenced by the results of F-Count of 16,360 with a significance value of 0,000. 2). Outbound training activities through communication have a partial effect on employee collaboration behavior. This is evidenced by the results of t-count of 16,831 with a significance value of 0,000, while the outbound training activities through interaction do not partially affect the employee's cooperative behavior. This is evidenced by the results of t-count of 0.425 with a significance value of 0.672. Abstract

  Abstract The issue of violence against women can be found in abundance within the mass media news. Quoting the Indonesia’s National Committee on Violence Against Women (National Committee of Women) in 2017, there were 348,446 cases of violence against women. The data from National Committee of Women shows that there is a high percentage of sexual abuse within the domain of domestic or personal violence as well as community and public violence. The volume of news related to sexual abuses have been rising ever since the Police-General Tito Karnavian gave a controversial statement in October of 2017. As quoted from BBC Indonesia in an exclusive interview with Tito Karnavian, Tito said that in cases of rape accusations, the police sometimes must ask if the victim feels comfortable. This statement sparked a reaction from the public. Women activists highlighted Tito’s statement and consider the questions to be insensitive because they ignore victims’ psychological condition. Online news portal Titro.id actively discuss the development of Tito’s controversial statement. Not only does Tirto.id presents the news on the subject matter, they also conduct deep investigations involving both parties: the police force and the survivors of sexual abuses. Tirto.id was also present in a funding night to support the work of sexual abuse survivors in 11 November 2017 in Kantor Dagang Serikat Islam, Central Jakarta. The report was written by a journalist of Tirto.id in the “In Depth” rubric or exhaustive reports in the form of information gathered from attending the event. In order to research this topic, the researcher used the critical discourse analysis technique. This research will be analyzed using Norman Fairclough’s scalpel. The outcome of this research shows that, within the textual analysis, both lexically and grammatically, Tirto.id uses dictions that imply supportive attitude towards the victims and survivors of sexual abuse, for example, the use of “tegas” or “firm”. Tirto.id also chooses negative adjectives such as “bereaksi keras” (“reacted violently”) and “perilaku kasar bahkan kejam” (”violent or even cruel behavior”) to be associated with the perpetrators of sexual violence. The use of active sentences indicates that Tirto.id reinforces the presence of actors of sexual violence from the text. Which often media ignored when reported of sexual violence. Abstract

Abstract Website management for all companies or organizations is carried out on an basis, and provides a separate space for optimizing the delivery of information, especially relating to products or services. Currently, information and communication technology has become a starting point for managing operational and managerial activities. This will lead to the acquisition of the latest, fast and accurate information in order to support decision making. Basic capital in the realm of information systems that utilize intelligent devices, is an innovation better known as electronic computers set and the internet. When faced with business activities that legalize information disclosure, it is certainly able to provide opportunities for the growth of the communication business and its development by optimizing information technology. This literature study, seeks to dissect the optimization of design management in website communication media as a medium for business improvement. In order to gain an in-depth understanding, efforts were made to bring together a variety of important studies from the dimensions of communication media and business management, in order be able to discover the interconnectedness of various facts in a comprehensive manner. The results of the study illustrate that improving business communication based on technology by utilizing a website, this is inseparable from the concept of the sustainability of an information quality which two point includes: (1) technology exists to achieve the highest level of efficiency in time, human and cost management that demands an adaptive attitude to market fluctuations; (2) management communication perspective puts opportunity as business control, so that the relationships that have been pursued provide positive values ​​in line with the use of the latest communication technology. Abstract

Production management strategiesFTV Starvision related to Indonesian culture are the object of problems in research. The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding that the FTV Starvision shows are highly related to Indonesian culture. The results of the study concluded that Starvision in production FTV used several strategies at each stage of its production. Start from the stage preproduction, production, post production and evaluation. The strategy includes using newcomer performers whose salaries are still low, using locations that are often used so that in terms of licensing it is easier, to use vendors for equipment, and others. These strategies to save production costs. Another strategy is to use location, dialogue, accent, costume, property, which is very thick with Indonesian culture, it to introduce Indonesian culture through television media especially FTV. Abstract

The researcher focuses on the concept of sustainable development communication as the existence of rural community collectivity which is still dominant. Collectivity and community self-help (gotong-royong) which become rural community characteristic becomes challenge and at the same time it is also an opportunity in managing tourism concept which is sustainable. The success of sustainable development is determined by the acceptance of each stakeholder on the changes being offered, and on how far they involve in deciding the changes they would like to make. The principles of communication in sustainable deveplopment has to guarantee the involvement and empowerment of local community, so that the local culture sustains to achieve the tourism which is environment friendly. This research found that main principal on sustainable development is the people. So various set of workshop and discussion held with Pinus Pengger Management to establishing mutual understanding among the management for taking ecological option. One of the example is about to replace branches for photo spots material into bamboo wood that available within the area. The management need to intensify the promotional aspect through social media to reduce plactic and paper material as promotional tools.
