Abstract

This study aimed at finding a way out of the problem of interest of intellectual disability studentsto follow the rhythmic gymnastics events and the inability of intellectual disability students do a series of gymnastics rhythmic video media. This research was conducted in SDLB Kedungkandang Malang, this researsh was including Dick & Carey research and development. Results of this study was to measure the validity of product of rhythmic gymnastics video media to be used as a medium of learning adaptive physical education. The results of this research showed that the level of validity from the material expert gained 92%, the media experts gained94%, practitioners obtained 92%, and small group test gained the average value 88% with qualification very feasible to be used.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jalan keluar dari permasalahan kurangya minat belajar siswa tunagrahita mengikuti kegiatan senam ritmik dan ketidakmampuan siswa tunagrahita melakukan rangkaian senam ritmik dengan mengembangkan video senam ritmik dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif pada siswa tunagrahita yang dilaksanakan di SDLB Negeri Kedungkandang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Dick & Carey. Hasil penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat validitas produk media pembelajaran berupa video senam ritmik untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani adaptif. Hasil pengembangan menunjukan tingkat validitas yakni, ahli materi mendapat 92%, ahli media memperoleh 94%, praktisi memperoleh 92%, dan uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88% dengan kriteria sangat layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Civics learning is one of the subjects related with daily activities. The purpose of this research is to determain the using of series image media to incrase of outcomes learning the civics subject on schools discipline materials and to determine the increase of outcomes learning the civics subject on schools discipline materials in school to the students with intellectual disability in grade II after given learning with series image media.The approach in this research is a classroom action research (CAR). The conclusion of the study is the use of the series image media in the schools discipline material can improve student learning outcomes. The indicators was the incrased values of the average student and the percentage of successful students from pre action, one cycle to the next cycle, in pre action was 48,75, the first cycle was 56,25 and the second cycle was 86,25.

Abstract

With Limitation of thingking, certainly children with intellectual disability have some learning difficulties especially academic lessons. Children with intellectual disability have many characteristics, one of them is quickly bored and forget something easily. Dice game in this study refers to a game used by researchers in attempt to improve children with intellectual disability’s limited numeracy skill to calculate the dice that appears. In this study, researchers used quantitave approach with data test and documentation as data collecting thecnic. While study design in use was one group pretest-posttest design. It was concluded that the use of dice game media can improve numeracy skills.Dalam keterbatasan berfikir anak tunagrahita tentu mengalami kesulitan belajar terutama pelajaran akademik. Anak tunagrahita mempunyai karakteristik salah satunya adalah cepat bosan dan mudah lupa.Permainan dadu yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah permainan yang digunakan peneliti sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung saat anak tunagrahita yang terbatas pada menghitung mata dadu yang muncul. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data test dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-postest design. Kesimpulan penggunaan permainan dadu dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung pada tunagrahita.

Abstract

The purposes of research are to describe: (1) the ability of summation computation of a student with hearing impairment for 1st grade at baseline conditions (A1) and baseline conditions (A2), (2) the ability of summation computation of student with hearing impairment at intervention condition (B), and (3) the effect of flannel pocket media utilization toward the ability of summation computation for a student with hearing impairment in the 1st grade. The result was showed in the assessment of ability of summation computation for a student with hearing impairment in the baseline condition (A1) that was about 65% to the 75% and it had improvement to the intervention condition (B) to be 85% to 100%. as well as on baseline (A2) as control phase that the value was about 95% to the 100%.Tujuan penelitian : (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1 pada kondisi baseline (A1) dan baseline (A2); (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1 pada kondisi intervensi (B); (3) mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media kantong flanel terhadap kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1. Hasil penelitian ini ditunjukkan pada penilaian kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu pada kondisi baseline (A1) berkisar 65% hingga 75% dan mengalami peningkatan pada kondisi intervensi (B) menjadi 85% hingga 100% serta pada kondisi baseline (A2) sebagai fase kontrol yang nilainya berkisar 95% hingga 100%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of barbie doll media toward self care ability for student with mild intellectual disability in the first grade. This study used a Single Subject Research (SSR) with the A-B-A design model. The subject was SE (10 years), a student with mild intellectual disability in the first grade. Based on the data processing, the mean level of baseline condition-1 was 57,25%, the mean level in the intervention condition was 91,93%, the mean levels in the baseline condition-2 was79,3%. The conclusion of this research was there is a effect of Barbie doll media toward the ability of clothe self care for student of mild intellectual disability. The advice given is the teachers can a provide method and media appropriate learning and accommodate student in processing information and optimizing the ability of the student.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of news media in communicating information about Disabled news to the public. The focus of the discussion centered issue and advocacy role of the news media conducted to understand the issues of persons with disabilities. Studies conducted using the method of analysis to systematically review the library of selected journals that conduct media exposure of persons with disabilities at the global level and so focused towards media conference in Malaysia. In this research, the data was obtained through databases ERIC, google scholar, Journal of Education, Journal of Social Sciences and Journal of Communication. A total of 30 articles were based on keywords such as disabled people, newspapers, news exposure to people with disabilities. However, researchers have obtained 13 articles that met after being filtered. The results obtained showed that the press releases are also still not open and not to report the news on disabilities. This is because there is a stigma that prevents acceptance of disabilities such as discrimination and negative attitudes towards them. Outlook negative stereotypes of people with disabilities who are strangers, the great ones, defects often appear in the media. Even now there is increasing advocacy for press media publishing news on this special group but the content or dissemination of information about them is still less show.Artikel ini membincangkan peranan media akhbar dalam menyampaikan maklumat berita tentang Orang Kurang Upaya kepada masyarakat. Fokus perbincangan ditumpukan isu dan peranan advokasi media akhbar dijalankan untuk memahami isu orang kurang upaya. Kajian yang dijalankan menggunakan kaedah analisis perpustakaan secara sistematik review terhadap jurnal-jurnal terpilih yang menjalankan kajian paparan media ke atas orang kurang upaya di peringkat global dan seterusnya difokus ke arah media akhbar di Malaysia. Dalam penyelidikan ini, data-data diperolehi melalui pengkalan data ERIC, google scholar, Jurnal Pendidikan, Jurnal Sains Sosial dan Jurnal Komunikasi. Sebanyak 30 artikel diperolehi berdasarkan kata kunci seperti orang kurang upaya, surat khabar, paparan berita terhadap OKU. Namun begitu, penyelidik telah memperoleh 13 artikel yang menepati setelah disaring. Hasil didapati menunjukkan akhbar akhbar juga masih tidak terbuka dan kurang untuk melaporkan berita tentang OKU. Ini kerana masih terdapat stigma yang menghalang penerimaan OKU seperti diskriminasi dan sikap negatif terhadap mereka. Pandangan stereotaip golongan OKU yang negatif seperti orang asing, golongan yang susah, cacat sering dipaparkan dalam media. Walaupun, kini media akhbar ada peningkatan advokasi penerbitan berita terhadap golongan istimewa ini namun kandungan atau penyebaran maklumat tentang golongan ini masih lagi kurang dipaparkan.

Abstract

The reseach’s purpose was to analyze the effect of picture numeric card media toward improvement of the summation computation ability for student with intellectual disability of grade IV in SDLB. Data collected was analyzed with experiment technique and single subject research A-B design. Research result showed that: after being analyzed between condition overlap persentase was 0%. Thus, it could be concluded that there was effect of pictorial numeric card media toward summation computation ability of student with intellectual disability

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of playdough media usage toward beginning writing skills for a student with intellectual disability. This research was using a Single Subject Research (SSR) with ABAB design. The research subject was a student with moderate (can be trained) intellectual disability, namely NV (9 years). Based on the results of this research concluded that there was significant effect of playdough towards the writing skills of students with moderate intellectual disability.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media playdough terhadap keterampilan menulis permulaan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain subjek tunggal (SSR) dengan desain ABAB. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa tunagrahita mampu latih, yang berinisial NV (9 tahun). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemanfaatan media playdough terhadap keterampilan menulis permulaan.

Abstract

A child with intellectual disability has problems in adaptive behavior such as eating skill. The research objective was to describe: 1) the ability of the child with intellectual disability before being given intervention using backward chaining method, 2) the ability of the child with intellectual disability after being given intervention using backward chaining method, and 3) the effectiveness of backward chaining method to increase the eating skills for child with intellectual disability. The method of this study was an experimental method by using the Single Subject Research (SSR) with the A-B-A design model. The results showed that the percentage of overlap between the baseline condition-1 and the intervention condition was 0%. The calculation declared that there was increase eating skill for child with intellectual disability with backward chaining.Anak disabilitas intelektual memiliki masalah dalam perilaku adaptif seperti pada keterampilan makan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) kemampuan anak disabilitas intelektual sebelum diberikan intervensi menggunakan backward chaining, 2) kemampuan anak disabilitas intelektual setelah diberikan intervensi menggunakan backward chaining, dan 3) keefektifan backward chaining untuk meningkatkan keterampilan makan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Single Subject Reseach (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perolehan presentase overlap antara kondisi baseline-1 ke kondisi intervensi sebesar 0%. Perhitungan tersebut menyatakan adanya pengaruh keefektifan backward chaining sebagai intervensi terhadap peningkatan keterampilan makan sebagai target behavior.

Abstract

The research’s purpose was to analyze the effect of game finger painting toward writing letter ability of moderate retardation learner in SDLB/C. Data which collected was analyzed by using experiment technique with Single Subject Research A-B-A design. Research result showed that after being analyzed among condition, overlap percentage was 0%. Thus, it could be concluded that there was a effect of game finger painting toward writing letter ability of moderate retardation learner.
