Abstract

Ki Hajar Dewantara an educational leaders in Indonesia. Ki Hajar Dewantara have learned concepts that are conservative and make the learner as central to the learning process. Based on this background, it is necessary to learn Ki Hajar Dewantara formulation appropriate to the context of Islamic Education.The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of learning by Ki Hajar Dewantara and express their relevance to Islamic education.This study is a literature research. Material object of this research is to learn the result of thinking Ki Hajar Dewantara. The approach used is a psychological approach. This is a qualitative study, using the document as a source of research and power analysis method is content analysis.The study found that learning by Ki Hajar Dewantara is a liberating learning learners. Liberate means that learners are developed in accordance with the talent and interest is based on the existing potential that idea, feeling, and intention. The development is expected to transform into a human learners can master yourself, independent, without having to depend on others. The role of educators is to guide, direct, and motivate learners with basic affection. Learners is central to learning activities are carried out. The method used in the learning process should be based on compassion. It was also found that the study in view of Ki Hajar Dewantara relevant to Islamic education. It can be seen from the concept study developed by Ki Hajar Dewantara not contrary to Islamic education. Only the term he uses a different but similar meaning.

Abstract

The teacher is one figure who became a guide and examples of conduct by the public in general and students in particular, because the teacher is a role model. Therefore, teachers must have the competencies that should maketh profile idol, one personal competence. Since the days previous to the present personality of a teacher get special attention in the world of education. When you look in history have also described the personality-emotion kepribadianyang owned by a teacher as found in the book of al-Muta’allim Ta’lim work Kitab az-Zarnuji and Adab al ‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim work KH. Hasyim Ashari. purpose of this study in order to conclude on the personality of the teacher according to the book of al-Muta’allim study groups and the Book of Adab al ‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim, so that the teacher can make the PAI personality guidelines that must be owned by a teacher by previous scholars to make it into the figure of the ideal teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of religiosity muslim students in high school St. Thomas Yogyakarta associated with environmental and pluralist religious education. This study is a qualitative research that takes place at St. Thomas High School in Yogyakarta. The approach used is the anthropological approach to religion, is used to examine the dynamics of deep religiosity of Muslim students in accordance with what is understood and experienced by research subjects concerned.Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The data obtained and analyzed by descriptive-analytical, meaning that the results of the analysis in the form of exposure picture of the situation observed in the form of a narrative description. The data were analyzed by using inductive pattern, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed that the dynamics of muslim religiosity in the high school students of St. Thomas views of the dimensions of religious belief, religious practices, religious feeling, religious knowledge, religious and community effect is still not good. Islamic religious education ever obtained or obtainable Education Religiosity is currently not so influential in their lives. Of course this is also due to the lack of motivation of the student as well as a lack of support from parties or organizations outside the school in improving the student’s religiosity.

Abstract

Thematic approach to teaching and learning especially for Islamic Religious Education in elementary school. This is a way of teaching and learning, whereby many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme. It allows learning to be more natural and less fragmented than the way, where a school day is time divided into different subject areas and whereby children practice exercises frequently related to nothing other than what the teacher thinks up. It guides connected ideas to follow on easily.The model of thematic learning in primary schools can be said to be using the model to share (shared/participative model). This modelis the integration of learning due to the emergence of a fallen-overlapping (overlapping concept) or an idea in two or more subjects.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect on behavior resourcefullness learning strategies. The next test was conducted to determine the relationship between behavior and academic achievement resourcefullness general psychology.There are three instruments used in this study, namely modules experiential learning strategies, scale resourcefullness, and learning achievement of learning psychology. Module experiential learning strategy is a guideline to implement better teaching strategies EL in general psychology. Resourcefullness Scale is a tool to find out resourcefullness research subjects. To measure the achievement of general psychology using existing documents, ie the final value of a general psychology course, which is accessed from SIA Program (Academic Information System) UIN Sunan Kalijaga.Subjects in this study were all students of men and women who are taking courses in general psychology, class of 2011/2012 academic year (3rd semester of college is done). The number of subjects in this study were eighty-three (83) students, in which 42 people (class A) as the experimental group, and 41 people (class B) as a control group.Analysis of the data according to the hypothesis that will be formulated using different test techniques (t-test) and test product moment with the help of a computer program SPSS version 16. To examine why and how a change (as the effect of the treatment, will be done using interview techniques.

Abstract

Muntasyirul Ulum Boarding School is dormitory for students MAN Yogyakarta III. Coachingmaterials integrated with lessons in Yogyakarta MAN III, including deepening the material in theform of religion and religious formation of creative and independent character. Serious coaching fromBoarding School is done by providing guidance, either individually or in groups. Individual coachingaimed at guiding students through a turbulent adolescence. Guidance also be directed so that studentscan carry out their duties as students, have an independent person and is able to actualize the potentialand talent to be individual resilient in the face of adversity. In addition, the guidance also seeks to equipand nurture students to become strong personal faith. By using a method that is inspiring dialogue, theboarding seeks to educate and equips them with the nature of humanity, tolerance and pluralism. Thisis in line with the concept of religion in fostering humanistic attempt that students are not only able todo the actualization of the material, but also embodies adherence to the revelation.Keywords: Humanism, actualization,tolerance.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to determine relationship of al-Quran and al-Sunnah with the rules offqh al-’ādatu muhakkamah and applicability in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Public HigherEducation (PTU), with no “scrape” exhausted culture or on the contrary, so intertwined harmonybetween Muslims and adherents of culture in society.Method used in study is content analysis, which is used to understand the rules of Arabic in verses ofthe Koran and Hadith of the Prophet of Islam and culture. In addition, also used discourse analysis,which is to connect the to the context as meaning implied relating to circumstances at time of verses ofKoran and Hadith of Prophet lowered.Results obtained from study of literature, that Islam gives the option to mankind to determine otheroptions, recognize and protect the right to life adherents of a different culture, and Islam is a universalreligion that has characteristics of al-wāqi’iyah (realistic), and can cooperate in preventing damage andbuild community.Keywords: Islamic religion and culture, al-’ādathu muhakkamah, Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

The future of Moslems are stimulated by the Qur’anic interpretation that is always renewed, so allendeavors to comprehend the Holy Qu’ran are important and crucial duty. According to those, AliAbdul Halim Mahmud (AAHM) has built seriousely a firm conviction on the perfection of the Qur’anand the necessity for Moslems in obeying to it. The only way to solve any problem caused them goingastray in this life is return to guidance of the Qur’an and the Prophet tradition.AAHM has utilizedtwo models in elaborating the Qur’anic tenets, i.e. : (1) selecting a certain surah to be interpreted,and (2) appointing a certain educational topic and explaining the relevant content of Qur’anic verses.Those models stand on assumption that as a guidance book, there is no matter in life that’s neglectedin the Qur’an. His belief in an existence of the perfect Qur’anic educational system has promptedhim to endeavour in describing prescriptions of the Qur’anicverses so those became as educationalperspectives or viewpoints, either with nuance of clarifying, comparing or perfecting, that contain fullymessages of moral, religious preaching, and movement in order to revive the glory of Islam.Keywords: Islam as a complete system, special characteristics of the Qur’an, Qur’anic educationalsystem, model of Qur’anic interpretation.

Abstract

Nowadays, information and science are abundantly available. Therefore, we need to select the materialswhich are really benefical for student. As one of subjects in the Islamic school curricula, the history ofislamic culture that are in line with the ideal demands, as are formulated in the content standards. Inpractice, the formulation is expressed within textbooks. However, people’s understanding of the subjectof the history of islamic culture is sometimes stigmatized that history of islamic culture materialsshould be the politics. Thus, this study finds its urgency for readers understanding that in accordancewith the 2008 curriculum, the prominent materials are moral, belief system, efforts and habits, insteadof politics.Keywords: Cultural Elements, Textbooks of The History of Islamic Culture.

Abstract

In the writing of Islamic cultural history, there are almost all the books write about war. The lessonbooks of Islamic cultural history in the school also not inseparable from material about war. Thismatter if not addressed properly by the teachers and students there was great potential false perceptioneven erroneous, so there needs the right strategy for the students so that has not wrong perceptionabout war in Islam. This research has purposes for knowing Islamic cultural history teacher strategyin reconstruction the material about war and its impact to the students. Data collection was done byinterview, observation, documentation, and checking data validation with triangulation. The teachermethod to reconstruct war material in Islamic civilization by explaining to the students the jihad anddakwah concept firstly, then the background of war happening, value / ibrah / moral value that canbe taken from the war occurrence, and also explains various phenomenon or actual issues that washappening recently, and then connected with that war material. The impact for the students is whenthe teacher conveys the war material attractively and fun can be divided into two, cognitive impact andattitude impact.Keywords : Islamic Cultural History Strategy, Material Construction, War.
