Abstract

This study aims at finding the development of Islamic education curriculum in higher education. Curriculum development conceived as an effort to develop a curriculum that refers to the Indonesian Qualifications Framework (KKNI), National Standards for Higher Education (SNPT), and Paradigm Integration-Interconnection Studies as the orientation of scientific development at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This study was conducted by means of naturalistic qualitative approach. The location of this study was at the Department of Islamic Religious Educatioan of Faculty of Islamic Education and Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The subjects consisted of cases which are selected by purposive sampling techniques. The study procedure of collecting data consisted of four steps: observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. The data were analyzed using inductive models, while the validity of the result met the criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability and conformability. The research findings are as follows: first, the emphasis on curriculum development (a) clarity profile of graduates with a description of its operation. (b) The learning outcomes as an indicator graduate profile that refers to KKNI and SNPT. (c) Field studies as a strategic issue which combined with the development of the course learning outcomes, (d) Half the weight of the unit credits obtained by multiplying the depth and breadth of study material; Second, the development of the curriculum to accommodate all the requirements of a professional teacher with four competencies; pedagogical, personality, social and professional competence, plus the competence of the leadership. Third, curriculum development in PAIDepartment also stressed on the aspect of PAI consisting of Al-Qur’an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam to improve the professional competence of future teachers.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe: (1) the learning process of PAI based on the culture and character of the nation in SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta, (2) the reform of model and contextualization of the material (integrated domain) by PAI teacher, (3) reveals the model reformation and material contextualization (Integrated domain) conducted by PAI teachers can improve the domain of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of students, (4) the practice of practicing the students in school and at home. Research on "Familiarize the Religious Tradition in School" held by SMA Negeri 3 in Yogyakarta using qualitative approach with oriented on "qualitative descriptive" (Qualitative Desciptive Design). The result of the research explains that: (1) the learning process of PAI based on culture and character of the nation in SMA Negeri 3 in Yogyakarta through integrated learning by teachers with students actualized on religious values and tolerance, including: the value of faith, the practice of worship to Allah, and social activities (2) that integrated learning by PAI teachers results in the cultural and character values that students exhibit in their religious and tolerant attitudes, such as the character of faith that is actualized in performing worship worship, manners in behavior and speech, peer empathy, (3) PAI learning process with model reform and material cotectualization (integrated domain) can improve the knowledge, attitude, and behavior of students through the cultivation of creative value and responsibility of students in their life, and (4) The practice of practicing the students' worship is shown Through the implementation of "worship maghdoh", such as: prayer, fasting, and reciting the Qur'an, and worship "ghoiru maghdoh" (social-community worship), such as: social-community activities, love environment, and tolerance.

Abstract

In structure of national education curriculum, subject PAI is a compusory subject, as well as civic education subjects, mathematics, social and culture. It has a high achievement in PAI subject matter is very important. One that supports high learning achievement of PAI is visits to the library. This study aims to test whether there is a correlation between frequency of visits to library with learning achievement of PAI. Subject in this study were students of SMPN 2 Panjaitan Kulonprogo Yogyakarta as many as 131 students. Data collection was done by using document rapports to reveal learning achievement of PAI and frequency to visits library from students visit to school library card. Results show that there is no correlation between frequency to visits school library with learning achievement of PAI with r = 0,104 and significancy p=0,119 (p>0,005).

Abstract

Subject of fiqh is one of compulsory subjects at level of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) education. Therefore, having a high learning achievement in the course of fiqh is very important. This study aims to examine correlation between interest and learning styles with fiqh learning achievement. Population in this research is all student of Madrasah Diniyyah Nurul Ummah academic year 2016/2017 which amounted to 399 student. Sampling is done by purposive random sampling technique so that the sample is 60 students. Data were collected by using learning interest scale, learning style scale, and fiqh learning achievement document. Analysis technique used is regression analysis (anareg). Results showed: 1) there is a positive (r = 0.902) and significant (p = 0.001) correlation between learning interest with fikih achievement on students of Madrasah Diniyyah Nurul Ummah academic year 2016/2017; 2) there is no correlation between learning style with fikih learning achievement (r = 0,088 and p = 0,251); 3) there is a positive and significant correlation between learning style and learning interest with fikih learning achievement on Madrasah Diniyyah Nurul Ummah student of academic year 2016/2017 (F = 126,098 and p = 0,000).

Abstract

The education purpose is to create the best generation, to educate good character, and also to build a vision. To get the target, the learning process should be touched by friendly hearted and minded, so the students could feel relax, comfortable and easy to understand. Value based education is one of the suitable method used in learning process in order to create optimal learning, give stimulant, and also to give spirit action. Value based education enrich the educators to understand and elaborate the subject and the course deeply, and then to convey to the students softly and communicational. Value based education invites the teachers to understand the core of material, subject, and than formulate it and also to convey softly and communicativelly to the students. It followed by guided and instruction. Through this way, all the student from the kindergarten to university student level can understand the core of its material. The goal is that they have knowledge to survive in the future. That is all about value based education. Key word: value based education, educator/teacher, student, subject.

Abstract

This research aims to describe emotional quotient and reading habit of asmaul husna of students and to examine relationship between of both. The subject of this research were all of students in grade XI MA (Senior High School) Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta as many as 34 people. Interviews, scale of emotional quotient, and reading habit asmaul husna questionnaire are used as an instrument in data collection. The results show: first, level of emotional quotient of students in grade XI MA Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta are in the high category. Second, level of reading habit asmaul husna of students in grade XI MA Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta are in the high category. Third, there’s positive and significant correlation (rxy=0,614, p=0,001) between reading habit of asmaul husna and emotional quotient of students in grade XI MA Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta. Fourth, the contribution of reading habit Asmaul Husna toward emotional quotient of students in grade XI MA Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta is 37,70%. Abstract

Abstract Self regulated learning is one key to obtaining maximum learning results. However, the facts on the ground are still many students who do not have the independence in learning. Based on this background, it becomes important for every educator and activist education to understand what is the meaning of independent learning, independent learning forms, as well as how to foster independent learning in self-learners.This type of research is the study of literature (libraryresearch). The approach used in this study is the approach of Psychological Sciences. After conducting a study on the independence of existing learning the Koran and Psychology, found some of the following: a) the Koran a lot of gesturing order mankind always read and explore science departing from the awareness and willingness of individuals themselves (QS. [2]: 189, [QS. [8]: 1, [17]: 85) b) forms of learning kemandrian exemplified in al- Koran contained in the story of Moses and Ibrahim (QS. [6]: 76-79). Abstract

in the world of education The issue of ideology is interesting because it relates to the values ​​or patterns of ideas that are reflected in human life. College as an important part of life should be able to provide refreshment to human culture. For that reason the pattern of ideas within the educational ideology of the college curriculum is interesting to discuss. From the results of the study showed that: 1) Profile picture in general is to achieve the profile of graduates. There are three profiles of PAI graduates: educators, education counselors, and educational researchers. curriculum objectives in the form of learning achievement. The curriculum materials are courses that are derivatives of the curriculum. The curriculum method uses student centered learning (SCL) principles, and curriculum evaluation using the rubric system. 2) The educational ideology contained in the Curriculum refers to KKNI and SNPT berparadigma Integration-Interconnection applied in PAI Study Program Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is an eclectic ideology. This shows that the educational ideology in the curriculum has its own distinctive characteristics. Abstrak dalam dunia pendidikan Persoalan ideologi menarik karena berhubungan dengan nilai atau pola gagasan yang tercermin dalam kehidupan manusia. Perguruan tinggi sebagai salah satu bagian penting dalam kehidupan harus dapat memberikan penyegaran terhadap kebudayaan manusia. Untuk itu maka pola gagasan di dalam ideologi pendidikan dari kurikulum perguruan tinggi menarik untuk dibahas. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Gambaran profil secara umum adalah untuk mencapai profil lulusan. Terdapat tiga profil lulusan PAI yaitu pendidik, konselor pendidikan, dan peneliti pendidikan. tujuan kurikulum berupa capaian pembelajaran. Materi kurikulum adalah mata kuliah yang merupakan turunan dari kurikulum. Metode kurikulum menggunakan prinsip student centered learning (SCL), dan evaluasi kurikulum menggunakan sistem rubrik. 2) Muatan ideologi pendidikan yang terdapat pada Kurikulum mengacu KKNI dan SNPT berparadigma Integrasi-Interkoneksi yang diterapkan di Program Studi PAI Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah Dan Keguruan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta adalah ideologi yang bersifat eklektik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ideologi pendidikan dalam kurikulum memiliki karakteristik tersendiri yang khas. Kata kunci: kurikulum mengacu KKNI dan SNPT Berparadigma Integrasi-Interkoneksi, Ideologi Pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract Extracurricular activities in schools aim as supporting facilities for the learning process carried out in schools. Religious values ​​are the main concepts in religious life that are sacred so that they are used as guidelines for the religious behavior of citizens. The program planning for the Tahfidz extracurricular activities has the purpose of forming character and can instill the faith and piety of students. This type of research is qualitative research. Nilai religius adalah konsep pokok dalam kehidupan beragama yang bersifat suci sehingga dijadikan pedoman tingkah laku keagamaan warga masyarakat. Perencanaan program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz mempunyai tujuan untuk membentuk karakter dan dapat menanamkan iman dan taqwa siswa. Pelaksanaannya meliputi baca tulis Al-Qur’an, menyetorkan hafalan, bimbingan dan pembinaan secara individual untuk memberikan siraman rohani, keteladanan, dan pembiasaan ke dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Perencanaan program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan tahfidz di MAN 1 Kota kediri bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi anak dan menyiapkan jika ada event atau acara. Dengan menggunakan metode sorogan. Nilai religius dari hubungan manusia dengan tuhannya, saat siswa membaca dan menghafal Al Qur’an, sedangkan nilai religius saat hubungan dengan sesama manusia yaitu berperilaku sopan santun, tawadhu’ dan hormat, guna menjaga hafalan dan menerapkan apa yang telah di fahami dalam Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Abstract The role of the family in the educational process, is an inevitable necessity, this is because the important role of the family as the environment of origin, and also the first environment for humans. This shows, the existence of the family is very important, in supporting the achievement of educational goals. Facts and reality in the field show that, the role of the family today, has not shown its maximum effort as the main educational institution, so that there is a practice of violence in the family, both against wife and child, which is certainly very contradictory basic principles in the process of education. The presence of this article, intended to explore the important role of the family, in the educational process based on the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. This exploration is intended to gain a fundamental essence in the process of family education, so as to provide a new perspective on the perceiving of the family as an important part of the humanizing process. Abstrak Peran keluarga dalam proses pendidikan, adalah suatu keniscayaan yang tidak dapat dielakkan, hal ini sebabkan peran penting keluarga sebagai lingkungan asal, dan sekaligus lingkungan pertama bagi manusia. Hal ini menunjukkan, eksistensi keluarga yang sangat penting artinya, dalam menunjang ketercapain tujuan pendidikan. Berbagai fakta dan realitas dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa, peran keluarga dewasa ini, belum menampilkan usaha maksimalnya sebagai lembaga pendidikan utama, sehingga terjadilah praktik kekerasan dalam keluarga, baik terhadap istri maupun anak, yang tentunya sangat bertentangan prinsip-prinsip dasar dalam proses pendidikan. Hadirnya artikel ini, dimaksudkan untuk mengekslorasi peran penting keluarga, dalam proses pendidikan berdasarkan sudut pandang Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Pengeksplorasian ini, dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan esensi mendasar dalam proses pendidikan keluarga, sehingga dapat memberikan sudut pandang baru dalam mempresepsikan keluarga, sebagai bagian penting dari proses pemanusian manusia (humanisasi).
