Abstract

This research aims to design a web-based Accounting Information System (SIA) to optimize cash book management in Kolatmar Puslatmar-8 Teluk Ratai. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) which consists of four stages: needs planning, user design, construction, and cutover. The system was developed using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database management system. Research results show that the web-based SIA designed has features such as transaction data management, categorization, financial reporting, and debt-debt management. The system uses a three-tiered access structure consisting of the Treasury Staff, Administrator, and Chief. Black box testing shows that the system has met the basic needs of Kolatmar Puslatmar-8 Teluk Ratai in cash book management. Implementation of this system has the potential to improve efficiency and accuracy in the financial management of institutions. However, further development and testing are needed to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the system in the long term.

Abstract

Loans are an important financial instrument in modern life for both individuals and business groups. Consideration of prospective borrowers is very important to reduce the risk of default. However, in Gapoktan Makmur Sejahtera the consideration process is still done manually. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a more systematic and measurable approach in assessing the feasibility of granting loans to minimize the risk of default. The data source of this research comes from loan data at the Makmur Sejahtera Farmer Group Association (Gapoktan). This research uses the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) method with 3 input variables, namely income, collateral, and character of prospective borrowers. The output variable in this study is eligibility in the form of a percentage of the results of the FIS Tsukamoto calculation. The application in this study was developed with the Python programming language and the Flask framework. The database used in this research is MySQL. The results showed that the application of determining the feasibility of granting loans was successfully made and could help in the process of determining prospective borrowers at Gapoktan Makmur Sejahtera so as to reduce the risk of default.

Abstract

New student admission is a crucial activity for universities, especially private universities, in obtaining new students. FTI Unmer Malang has implemented various promotional techniques, but still experiences obstacles in achieving student admission targets. The number of new students fluctuates, with a peak in admission in 2019 and a significant decrease of 23% in the last three years. One of the main problems is the lack of information dissemination to remote areas. To overcome this problem, this study applies a data mining method with clustering to group new student data based on their area of ​​origin. Two clustering algorithms, namely K-Means and K-Medoids, are used to compare clustering results to find the optimal promotion strategy. The data used includes new students from the 2016 to 2022 academic years. The results of the study show that the K-Means algorithm shows better performance than the K-Means algorithm with DBI index accuracy level of 0.344. The results of the study are expected to help FTI Unmer Malang in determining a more effective promotion strategy based on the student's area of ​​origin.

Abstract

Microscopic examination is the most common malaria examination technique used in health facilities. However, microscopic examination requires special skills and quite a long time. This research aims to develop a malaria parasite detection system model in blood cell images using deep learning technology to increase the accuracy and speed of detection with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. This research was carried out in several stages: data collection, image preprocessing, dividing training data and validation data, creating a model using CNN, and evaluating the model. A CNN model was created to classify blood cell images into two classes, namely infected and uninfected. The dataset used as a reference in forming a detection system model uses blood cell images from the open-source Kaggle as many as 11.312 images. The CNN model evaluation results obtained an accuracy value of 97.17% in detecting blood cell images. These results show that the CNN model created can be used to detect malaria parasites using blood cell images.

Abstract

The condition of the air at a certain time and at a certain location over a short period of time is called weather. The term "time" refers to a mixture of meteorological factors that change over time. For example, the weather in the morning may be different from the afternoon and late hours. It is very important for humans to monitor, understand, and prepare for weather events. Weather information can be seen from weather information providers such as BMKG, but weather information on BMKG covers a wide area, so local areas such as villages have different weather even though they are in the same district. In addition, each weather information is presented in three-hour intervals and only covers a wide area, and there are no notifications in each area. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to create a prototype of a real-time weather monitoring system as well as an early warning of rain based on the internet of things (IOT) that can be accessed anywhere and anytime and the results are accurate and in accordance with environmental conditions, where the coverage is local areas such as villages so that there is no difference in weather information and early warning notifications. This research method uses the waterfall method with research stages carried out from data collection, needs analysis, design, creation of tools and program codes, and testing. This research produces weather information such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, light conditions, and rain conditions, this research also produces weather notifications that can be used as early warnings of rain. The results of the study were also compared with data from BMKG, namely there was a significant difference between sensor values ​​and notifications. This system can also be an alternative as a tool that can be used for weather monitoring and providing early warning notifications.

Abstract

Cows are livestock that are generally kept by the community, especially in rural areas. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), in 2021 the beef cattle population reached 17,977,214, an increase compared to the previous year which was recorded at 17,440,393. Environmental factors in cow sheds can directly affect livestock, causing stress due to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, resulting in decreased feed consumption and discomfort. High levels of ammonia gas from cow dung waste can affect cow resistance to disease and reduce cow productivity and can cause health problems for the surrounding community. This study aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based cow shed environmental monitoring system. The method in this study uses several stages, namely data collection, needs analysis, design, planning and testing. The system created can monitor temperature, humidity and ammonia gas in the cow shed environment and display this information on a mobile application. In the mobile application, information from sensor values ​​can be displayed in high, medium, and low categories during monitoring. The tool testing technique was carried out with 10 samples, the results showed that the temperature detector had an accuracy level of 91.13%, the humidity detector showed a value of 94.52% and the ammonia gas detector showed the highest value of 34.8 ppm at a distance of 10 cm and the smallest of 6.6 ppm at a distance of 100 cm. The results of this study indicate that the developed IoT system is effective in monitoring important parameters such as temperature, humidity, and ammonia gas in real-time. This can increase efficiency for farmers in monitoring environmental conditions in the cage, which was previously done manually.

Abstract

One way that should be finished to decide representative execution is to decide the worth that has been gotten equitably founded on the discipline measures of participation, obligation regarding finishing work, and consistence with commitments and denials, utilizing the C4.5 choice tree calculation. The data studied was the Worker Performance Evaluation Form with a total of 108 workers, in 2023-2024 based on certain criteria with the data selected being 96 active workers. This data has several criteria, namely attendance discipline, responsibility for completing work, and compliance with obligations and prohibitions. The main aim of this writing is to determine employee performance from each criterion. The C4.5 decision tree algorithm can assist in the decision-making process regarding improving the performance and training of workers in the field of handling public infrastructure and facilities. You can see the results of the research that has been carried out as training data, the gain and entrophy values ​​have been calculated. In the first partition, the highest gain value was obtained for Compliance with Obligations and Prohibitions with a value of 0.489943 and the smallest was Responsibility for Completion of Work with a value of 0.172824. This algorithm can be used to determine employee performance as a candidate for employee performance which will be determined by the relevant agency.

Abstract

Digital marketing has become very important because the world of marketing has changed through advances in information technology. Interactive and integrated marketing that allows market intermediaries, potential consumers and producers to interact with each other. Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube, and Shopee are social media that are often used in digital marketing. In this research, the data used is Banjarmasin City Culinary UMKM data obtained through a questionnaire totaling 174 respondent data which was distributed to the Banjarmasin City Culinary UMKM group. Data obtained from decision support system calculations using the Simple Additive Weighting method shows that many social media that are popular in society may not be suitable for use as digital media for culinary marketing. The results of the Simple Additive Weighting research show that it can be used to help culinary MSMEs in Banjarmasin City in making decisions about the use of social media through social media ranking results. This decision is reviewed based on several criteria such as length of business, length of use of social media, income and age. The length of business is because the longer the business lasts, the more people will know it. The length of use of social media is because the longer people use social media, the more they understand how to use the features and benefits of the features on social media. The greater the income in the business, the faster the business will develop. If you are at a more ideal age for running a business, your business will develop quickly because you have creative ideas and broad insight into business. The results of the Simple Additive Weighting method research show that WhatsApp has an accuracy value of 0.92, while Telegram has an accuracy value of 0.715. The concrete impact of the results of this research is that social media can help increase sales and the Simple Additive Weighting method can be used as a decision maker in selecting social media as a marketing medium so that Culinary MSMEs do not make the wrong choice in using social media.

Abstract

An emerging field of interdisciplinary research that needs more focus is the application of AI in journalism. The bibliometric analysis of the most recent research on implementation in digital journalism is presented in this paper. From Scopus, publications from 2014 to 2023 were examined to determine subjects, performance, impact, and collaborations. The findings indicate a rise in yearly production, with over 88 publications released in 2023 attesting to heightened research activity. Additionally, more recent publications had a more significant citation effect, demonstrating their relevance today. The majority of the prolific writers are from America, China, and Spain. International collaborations are centered around the West, between the United States and China, and the United States and Korea. This offers a standard that will guide future research in this enormously promising field. For AI to be implemented in digital journalism in a responsible manner, under-represented groups must be more involved.
