Abstract

In this research less of the result of the study mathematic of students are thought with many factors such as independent learning, peer interaction and attention from their parents. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between independent learning, peer interaction, and attention parents with math learning outcomes eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Tempuran Magelang in odd semester in academic year 2016/2017. The populations of this study were all students of class VIII consisted of 4 classes with a total of 90 students. Samples were taken using a random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used the non-test technique by a questionnaire and tests. The test research instruments were: validity tests, different power tests, and reliability tests. The test requirements analysis consisted of a normality test, linearity test, and independence test. The data analysis used product moment analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between learning independence, peer interaction, and parents’ attention to the math learning outcomes with R2 = 0,26965, Fcountt= 3,19982 while Ftable= 2,98 thus obtained Fcoun  Ftable and  multiple regression equation  and SR = , SR = , SR =  and SE = , SE =  and SE = .

Abstract

Limited teaching material is one of the problems that affect the achievement of learning goals. Teaching materials that can help students learn independently are modules. This study is a development study to produce mathematics teaching materials on comparison for class VII students of Junior High School (SMP / MTs) based on the 2013 curriculum and determine the quality of the developed modules suitable for mathematics learning. This study uses the developed Research and Development (R & D) model, including identifying potential and problems, gathering information, designing products, validating product designs, revising product design, product testing stages, and product revisions. The subject of this module's study and development are material experts, media experts, and students. The 2013 curriculum-based mathematics module is developed based on five main learning experiences: observing, asking questions, gathering information, associating, and communicating. The study results indicate that the mathematics teaching material for comparisons for class VII students of SMP / MTs based on the 2013 curriculum has good quality. Based on the assessment by material experts obtained an average score of 116.67 that meets the criteria of good, by media experts received an average score of 112.33, which meets the requirements of interest, and the results of student responses to the module indicate that the quality of the module good With an average score of 116.5. Based on the study results, the mathematics module of comparison material based on the 2013 curriculum is appropriate for mathematics learning.

Abstract

Results of low mathematics associated with many factors. Numerical ability, students learning interest, and attention of parents are several factors that allegedly associated with students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This research has to determine whether or not a positive and significant relationship between Numerical Ability, Students Learning Interest, and Attention of Parents with Math Students Learning Outcomes in Even Semester of an eighth-grade student SMP Negeri 1 Batur Banjarnegara Academic Year of 2015/2016. The population in this research were all student of class VIII in even semester in SMP Negeri 1 Batur academic year 2015/2016 with the total number of 82 students in 4 class. Function random sampling technique to class to take a sample class, as a sample class was class VIII D. Data collection techniques done with test method and the questionnaire method. The instruments test used the test of validity, different power, and reliability testing. Test requirements analysis used normality test, independent, and the linearity test. Analysis of data used linear regression analysis and correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the ability of numerical, students learning interest, and attention of parents with math learning outcomes with  and , in order to obtain  . Multiple correlation coefficient (R)  with a learn regression equation  . The relative contribution of (X1) , (X2) , and (X3)  with a coefficient of determination and effective contribution  (X1) , (X2) , and (X3) .

Abstract

Based on the observations at the time at SMP Muhammadiyah Depok Sleman Regency, the anxiety of facing the students ‘mathematics subjects is still high. This can be seen from the students’ attitude that is restless, afraid, worried, anxious, nervous, tense when told that there will be a daily test, pretest And posttest math lessons, as well as some poor parental concerns that are based on some parents who not come to school to take care of education issues. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between the anxiety of facing mathematics students and attention of parents of VIII class at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok Sleman Semester Even semester In Academic Year 2016/2017. This study population is all the student's VIII Class of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok semester of academic year 2016/2017. It is taken in VIII B Class as the sample of research class with a random sampling technique to the class. Data collection techniques in the form of test techniques and questionnaires. The research instrument test uses validity tests, different power tests, and reliability tests. Test prerequisite analysis includes a normality test, independent test, linearity test. Analysis of data for hypothesis testing using correlation analysis and linear regression analysis.  The results showed that there was no negative and significant relationship between anxiety facing mathematics subjects with mathematics learning result, with r = -0,0081, there is a positive and significant correlation between the attention of parents with the results of learning mathematics, with r = 0,6093, and there is a significant relationship between the anxiety of facing mathematics subjects and the attention of parents with the results of learning mathematics, with so that . Relative contribution of X1 = , X2 = 99,746%, and effective contribution X1 = %, X2 = %. This indicates that the attention of parents (X2) has a greater relationship with mathematics learning outcomes than with anxiety facing Mathematics subjects (X1) with mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 3 Wates Kulon Progo regency for the academic year 2017/2018 made the students bored and less enthusiastic. The cooperation between students is not optimal. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a significant influence (1) the factors of cooperative learning model on the students 'mathematics learning outcomes, (2) factors of student learning between students' learning achievement, (3) the interaction between cooperative learning model and student-to-student cooperation learning mathematics students. (4) between ST-class and PBL-class learning of mathematics learning outcomes, (5) between ST and PBL type cooperative learning models of mathematics learning outcomes. This study population was all seventh-grade students of State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 3 Wates Kulon Progo of the academic year 2017/2018, which consisted of four classes, namely class VII-A, VII-B, VII-C, VII-D and amounting to 138 students. The sample consists of two classes taken at random. Data analysis techniques used include prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study at a significant level of 5% with df = 1 showed no significant influence (1) factor model of cooperative learning on mathematics learning results, obtained Fobs (A) = 0,262 <F0,05; 1,65 = 3,989 (2) factors of student's co-work on mathematics learning result, obtained Fobs (B) = 0,270 <F0,05; 1,65 = 3,989 (3) the interaction between cooperative learning model and student's co-work on mathematics learning result, obtained by Fobs (AB) = 0,043 <F0,05; 1,65 = 3,989. (4) ST-type cooperative learning model has no more significant effect than PB-class student intercourse, it is obtained tcount = -12,574 <t0,05,67 = 1,996, with df = 67. (5) ST type cooperative learning model no more significant than the cooperative learning model of PBL type, obtained tcount = -0.828 <t0,05; 8 = 2.306, with df = 8.

Abstract

Low mathematics learning outcomes are thought to be related to several factors. These factors include learning discipline, interest in learning and learning environment at home. This study aims to determine the presence or absence of a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline, learning interest and learning environment at home with mathematics learning outcomes for students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta in 2015/2016 Academic Year. The population in this study were all regular students of class VIII in the even semester of SMP Negeri 15 Yogyakarta with 5 classes. A sample of 1 class with 27 students was taken by cluster random sampling technique obtained by class VIII B as a research class. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire method to determine the discipline of learning, interest in learning and learning environment at home students, and test methods to determine student learning outcomes in mathematics. To test the instrument using a validity test, reliability testing and distinguishing power test. After the data is collected, an analysis prerequisite test is conducted which includes a normality test, an independence test, and a linearity test. Data analysis for hypothesis testing uses product-moment correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis for 2 variables and multiple regression analysis for 3 variables. The results showed there was a positive and significant relationship between learning discipline, learning interest and learning environment at home with mathematics learning outcomes, with Y Ì‚= -193,541 + 1,465X_1+ 1,047X_2+0,35X_3. Relative contribution X1 = 58,95661%, X2 = 34,39229% dan X3 = 6,651091% and effective donations X1 = 39,94658%, X2 = 23,30281% dan X3 = 4,506506%.

Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta, the Academic Year of 2017/2018. This study's population was grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in 2017/2018. A random sampling technique was applied to take this research sample, which is grade VIII C students. The data on numerical ability and mathematics learning outcomes were obtained through tests. Simultaneously, the data of the learning independence and learning environment at home were obtained through questionnaires. The research instruments were tested using a validity test, differential test, and reliability test. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality, linearity, and independence test. Simple regression and multiple linear regression analyses were used to analyze the data. The results show a positive and significant relation between numerical ability, learning independence, learning environment at home. Mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in the Odd Semester of the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The F test results show . R = 0.495 and R2 = 0,245 with , with RC = 0.806%, RC =49.232% and RC = 49.962%. EC = 0.197%, EC = 12.064% and EC = 12.243%.

Abstract

 Learning by discussion among the group has been less effective, which makes low the mathematic learning results. The research aims to determine there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes between using model cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray and cooperative learning type Make a Match. And compare the effectiveness of model cooperative learning type two stay two stray and make a match in the VIII grade of Junior High School student of Muhammadiyah Boarding School Yogyakarta in the even semester academic year  2015/2016. This study uses a posttest-only control design. There is three class in the population of this study, samples were taken from two classes with random sampling techniques to the class. Data collection was conducted with the test model. The instrument used questions related to the subject of surface area and volume of the pyramid. Before analyzing data, there is a prerequisite test that consists of a normality test and a homogeneous test. To test the hypothesis in this study, the test was used one party with a significant level of 5%. The results of research on the significant level of 5% and dk = 64 indicates that: there are difference in the results of students mathematics leaning using cooperative learning model TSTS, and using cooperative learning Make a Match type. This is indicated by the value and  which mean and TSTS cooperative learning model is more effective than the cooperative learning model Make a Match type, against the mathematic learning student's results. Abstract

Learning is a human process to achieve a wide range of competencies, skills, and attitudes. The availability of mathematics teaching materials at SMP Negeri 1 Tempel and MTs Negeri 2 Sleman still lacks, especially the teaching materials that use The Open-Ended approach. The student worksheet based on The Open-Ended approach is one of the teaching materials alternatives that can be used to facilitate teachers and empower students. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of the student worksheet using The Open-Ended approach for grade VII SMP / MTs students in the second semester on the Quadrangle two-dimensional shapes material.  The research was done through a procedural development model. The stages in developing student worksheets using The Open-Ended approach were preliminary research, data collection, product development, product validation, and product trial. The subjects of research and development were materials experts, media experts, and students. In this research, material experts and media experts were expert lecturers and grade VII junior high school mathematics teachers. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires. The type of data used was qualitative data, which was then converted into quantitative data. Data analysis using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique was used to describe the development of student worksheets. The descriptive statistic was to analyze the questionnaire of the feasibility test of material experts, media experts, and the student response to the worksheet. The result of the research and development succeeded in making student worksheets using The Open-Ended approach for grade VII SMP / MTs student on the Quadrangle materials. The assessment of the material experts, media experts, and student responses to the student worksheet using The Open-Ended approach is 84.21% with very reasonable criteria. These results indicate that the student worksheet using The Open-Ended approach for grade VII SMP / MTs student on the Quadrangle two-dimensional shapes material is very feasible in the learning process

This study aims to determine whether there are positive and significant relations between learning motivation, learning environment at home, and learning intensity and mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in the even semester academic year of 2016/2017. This study's population were grade VIII students of Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017, consisting of grade VIII students class G and H with a total number of 66 students. A random sampling technique was applied to take the sample of this research, which is grade VIII students class G. The data on learning motivation, learning environment at home, and learning intensity were obtained through questionnaires. At the same time, the data of the mathematics learning outcomes were obtained through the test. The research instruments were tested using a validity test, differential test, and reliability test. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality, linearity, and independence test. Product moment and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results show positive and significant relations between learning motivation, learning environment at home, learning intensity, and mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta in the even semester of the academic year of 2016/2017. The results are evident in  which is 4.8 > 2.9 with R = 0,6 dan R2 = 0,3 with  , with RC = 55,7%, RC = 23,3% and RC  EC %, EC and EC  = 6,8%.
