Jurnal manajemen Kependidikan dan Keislaman is a peer-reviewed scientific periodical journal published by the Department of Islamic Education Management the Faculty of Tarbiyah Science and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. Abstract

Student achievement is of great concern to society. Schools that are able to create student achievement are seen as positive schools, while schools that minimize student achievement are seen as negative schools. This research was designed using qualitative methods. The problem is discussed through field research at MAN 1 Lampung Timur to get thoughts related to optimizing student management in improving non-academic achievement. Research data were obtained by means of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. All data were analyzed, with interactive analysis through 3 activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that planning to improve non-academic achievement includes: (a) Identification of non-academic activities that are in accordance with the talents, interests and potential of students. (b) Socialization of non-academic activities. (c) Identification of supporting infrastructure for non-academic activities. Optimizing student management in improving non-academic achievement includes: (a) organizing non-academic activities that are in accordance with the talents, interests and potential of students. (b) encouraging student participation in organized non-academic activities. (c) grouping students in selected non-academic activities. (d) appointing non-academic activity coaches according to their competence. Evaluation of improving non-academics includes: (a) Written test. (b) Comparing the achievement of results.

Abstract

Hasan Al-Banna was one of the Islamic reformers of the 20th century who paid great attention to moral education as the main foundation for community development. This article aims to examine Hasan Al-Banna's ideas on moral education and evaluate the possibility of their implementation in the Indonesian national education system. The method used in this study is library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that Hasan Al-Banna's thinking places moral education at the core of education, which must be integrated with the formation of faith, intellectuality, and social life. Some of the principles he promotes include the integration of knowledge and practice, education based on role models, and the role of family and society in the educational process. This article recommends the integration of these moral values into the national curriculum in a transdisciplinary manner through an approach based on religiosity and role models.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to determine the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. (2) To determine the influence of digital competence on teacher performance in implementing the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. (3) To determine the effect of job satisfaction on teacher performance in implementing the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. The type of research is quantitative research using a research sample of 80 elementary school teachers in Johan Pahlawan District, the sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Likert scale questionnaire data collection techniques and data processing techniques for multiple linear regression analysis. Partial research findings obtained (1) the principal's leadership influences the performance of elementary school teachers with a significant value of 0.000. (2) digital competence influences the performance of elementary school teachers with a significant value of 0.002. (3) teacher satisfaction influences elementary school teacher performance with a significant value of 0.006. Research findings simultaneously show that school principal leadership, digital competence and job satisfaction simultaneously influence the performance of elementary school teachers implementing the independent curriculum in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency with a significant value of 0.0000. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership, digital competence and job satisfaction influence the performance of elementary school teachers implementing the independent curriculum in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency

Abstract

Pembiasaan ibadah di lingkungan madrasah menghadapi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual di era modernisasi yang kian menguat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis praktik pembiasaan shalat dhuha sebagai wahana internalisasi nilai spiritual melalui perspektif filsafat perenialisme dan epistemologi Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Kota Jayapura. Mitra penelitian adalah seluruh civitas akademika madrasah yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pembiasaan rutin tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif reflektif-filosofis dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan keabsahan data melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat dhuha berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa, menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan, ketulusan, dan ketenangan batin. Dari perspektif perenialisme, praktik ini merefleksikan penanaman nilai-nilai kebenaran universal yang abadi. Sementara epistemologi Islam menegaskan bahwa pengetahuan spiritual diperoleh melalui pengalaman langsung ibadah yang menghubungkan manusia dengan Allah SWT. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi pentingnya pembiasaan shalat dhuha sebagai strategi pendidikan integratif dalam membentuk generasi berkarakter spiritual yang kuat di tengah tantangan modernitas.

Abstract

Economic development in Indonesia still faces various challenges, particularly in creating job opportunities and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) hold great potential in developing entrepreneurship through the cultivation of students' independent and religious character. This study aims to describe the implementation of entrepreneurship management at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatus Saalikin, located in Pembuang Hulu Village, Seruyan Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis involves the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The focus of the study includes aspects of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling entrepreneurial activities. The findings indicate that although entrepreneurial activities have shown progress, their implementation still faces obstacles such as limited human resources and internal policies of the pesantren that restrict students’ direct involvement. This research is expected to serve as a reference in formulating entrepreneurial management strategies in pesantren to strengthen the economic independence of the Muslim community

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze a collaborative academic supervision model that integrates interpersonal skills and self-efficacy in the educational context. With a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that collaborative academic supervision can increase emotional involvement, intrinsic motivation, and self-confidence of teachers and students. Interpersonal skills are key to building positive relationships, while self-efficacy influences the effectiveness of supervision implementation. These findings recommend the application of a collaborative approach in supervision practices to create a supportive and productive academic climate

Abstract

Local wisdom-based education is an approach that integrates cultural values, customs, and traditional knowledge into the learning process. In the digital age marked by globalisation, national education faces the challenge of preserving local cultural identity while adapting to technological advancements. Local wisdom is not merely a cultural heritage but also a tool for shaping the character and ethics of students, with values such as cooperation, tolerance, and respect for nature that are relevant to be internalised in education.This study aims to examine the urgency and strategies for implementing local wisdom in digital education. Using a qualitative method based on literature review and observation, it was found that integrating local values into the curriculum and digital learning media can strengthen students' identity and foster cultural awareness. Digitalising cultural content such as folk tales, traditional games, and local arts is an important step for preserving values amid the global flow of information.In conclusion, local wisdom-based education plays a vital role in shaping a generation that is rooted in culture yet adaptable to the progress of the times. Collaboration between schools, cultural communities, and policy makers is essential for the sustainable implementation of local wisdom-based education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine efforts to improve the quality of Islamic educational institutions at MA Miftahul Ulum An-Nur through educational supervision. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this study explores the institution's quality conditions, improvement efforts, and supporting and inhibiting factors. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis with participants including the principal, teachers, students, and foundation members. The results indicate that quality improvement is carried out through the development of an Islamic values-based curriculum, teacher training, and extracurricular programs. Supporting factors include foundation support, commitment of educators, and cooperation with parents. Inhibiting factors include inadequate teacher qualifications, limited facilities, and a lack of understanding among parents. Educational supervision has not been optimal in supporting effective learning. These findings provide insights for Islamic educational institutions in managing and continuously improving quality.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to the education system, including Islamic religious education (PAI). Advances in information technology have opened up great opportunities to expand access, enrich learning methods, and deepen religious understanding. However, challenges such as moral degradation, unfiltered information flows, and changes in social interaction patterns require a comprehensive approach. This article discusses the concept of a holistic approach in Islamic religious education in the digital age, which integrates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions by leveraging technology wisely. This approach is expected to produce students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually mature, morally upright, and prepared to face global challenges.

Abstract

Islamic education has the primary mission of shaping individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and of noble character. One strategic approach that can be taken is to integrate Qur'anic values into the Islamic education curriculum. This article discusses the urgency, normative basis, and practical strategies for implementing Qur'anic values into the education curriculum. The research method used is library research, involving the analysis of primary and secondary literature related to the Qur'an, hadith, and Islamic education literature. The findings indicate that the integration of Qur'anic values not only strengthens the cognitive aspects of students but also fosters spiritual awareness, social ethics, and moral responsibility in community life.
