Abstract

Digital transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity for Islamic educational institutions in facing the dynamics of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. This study aims to analyze the digital transformation management strategies implemented by Islamic educational institutions in improving the effectiveness of governance and learning quality. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the library research method, which is by examining various literature and the latest research results that are relevant to the topic of digital transformation and Islamic education management. The results of the study show that the success of digital transformation is determined by three main aspects, namely visionary leadership based on Islamic values, strengthening the digital literacy of educators and education personnel, and integrating information technology systems in the management of educational institutions. In addition, it was found that Islamic educational institutions that are able to adapt strategically to technological changes have higher competitiveness in creating an effective, innovative, and characterful learning ecosystem. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of synergy between spiritual values and technological innovation in realizing globally competitive Islamic education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policy in elementary schools in North Aceh District, focusing on four key aspects: communication, resources, implementers' disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The subjects consisted of nine key informants, including officials from the Education Office, school principals, special education teachers, homeroom teachers, and school committee members from two inclusive elementary schools. The findings reveal that the implementation of the inclusive education policy still faces various challenges. Communication among stakeholders is not yet optimal, resources such as teaching personnel and facilities are still limited, the disposition of policy implementers is not supported by an adequate system, and the bureaucratic structure lacks proper coordination. The study identifies that the ineffectiveness of policy implementation is caused by a lack of socialization, training, incentives, and the fragmentation among schools. The study concludes that stronger policy integration, improved resource capacity, and reinforced bureaucratic structures are needed to achieve a high-quality and sustainable inclusive education system

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic education faces the challenge of a dichotomy between classical scholarly traditions (naqliyah) and modern science (aqliyah). This study aims to analyse curriculum management at Pesantren Raudhatut Tholabah Setail, which uniquely integrates the study of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) by Imam al-Ghazali, formal education, and students' economic self-reliance practices. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to understand curriculum management at Pesantren Raudhatut Tholabah Setail, particularly the integration of Islamic epistemology (Bayani, Burhani, Amali) with formal education and students' economic activities. Data were collected through participatory observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews with the caregivers (pengasuh), teachers, and students. The data were analysed thematically to identify patterns, themes, and categories, with validity maintained through source triangulation and member checking. This method enables an in-depth understanding of holistic educational practices that unify theory, practice, and moral values. The study shows that curriculum management at Pesantren Raudhatut Tholabah Setail successfully integrates the three dimensions of Islamic epistemology-Bayani (classical texts), Burhani (reason), and Amali (practice)-within a holistic educational system. Students' economic activities, such as selling getuk, function as a phronesis laboratory for transforming theoretical knowledge into real-life experience, fostering independence, discipline, and moral values. The integration of formal education and classical scholarly traditions enables balanced academic and spiritual development. The roles of teachers and caregivers as facilitators and adaptive leaders are crucial in ensuring the harmonisation of all curriculum components. This model produces graduates who are intellectually capable, spiritually mature, and equipped with adaptive life skills, making education relevant, holistic, and character-oriented

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the strategies used by Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving the Qur'an reading ability of tenth-grade students at MA NWDI Pringgasela. The ability to read the Qur'an is a fundamental aspect of Islamic education, as it serves as the foundation for students to correctly understand the content and message of the Qur'an. Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers play a crucial role in shaping this ability through a structured and systematic learning process. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using field research, focusing on the objective depiction of real conditions in the field. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain in-depth insights into the teaching strategies applied by the teachers. The results of the study show that the main strategy used by Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers at MA NWDI Pringgasela is the expository strategy, which emphasizes direct delivery of material from teacher to students. This strategy is implemented through two main methods: the lecture method and the talaqqi method. Through lectures, teachers explain the rules of tajwid, makharijul huruf (points of articulation), and the ethics of reading the Qur'an. Meanwhile, the talaqqi method is used to train students' reading skills by listening to and imitating the teacher's recitation to correct pronunciation errors. The application of these methods has proven effective in improving students' ability to read the Qur'an accurately while fostering discipline and love for the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) How schools contribute to improving the quality of education 2) How families contribute to improving the quality of education 3) How communities contribute to improving the quality of education 4) How is the synergy between schools, families, and communities in supporting the improvement of the quality of education. This research method uses qualitative research. The subjects of this study are schools, families and communities. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. While data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study indicate that the quality of basic education in Aceh Tamiang Regency can improve significantly if the relationship between elements of the Tripusat Pendidikan continues to be strengthened through a planned, trust-based collaboration strategy and supported by policies that facilitate educational partnerships.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of time management, communication skills, and classroom control on teacher discipline in teaching high school students in Sidoarjo City. By applying a quantitative survey method to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling in four private schools, this study identifies three main factors that are considered to have a significant influence on the level of teacher discipline. The research instruments passed validity and reliability tests, strengthening the analysis results obtained. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, the three independent variables had a significant positive influence, with classroom control emerging as the most dominant factor in improving teaching discipline, followed by time management and communication skills. These findings indicate that efforts to strengthen teacher discipline require simultaneous improvements in competence in these three main aspects. The results show that 39.8% of the variation in teacher discipline levels can be explained by time management, communication skills, and classroom control, while the rest is triggered by other factors outside this model. The practical contribution of this study lies in its recommendations for classroom management training, strengthening time management skills, and developing effective communication programs for teachers. In addition to individual aspects, institutional support in the form of supervision, workshops, and mentoring is key to creating disciplined and high-quality teaching practices. The implications of this study direct schools and policymakers to develop teacher professionalism as a foundation for improving the quality of learning. Expanding the variables for further research is expected to provide a more complete picture of other factors that influence teacher discipline
