Abstract

Abstrak_ Samarinda adalah ibu kota provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang wilayahnya dibagi oleh aliran sungai Mahakam. Setiap tepian sungai Mahakam sering dimanfaatkan menjadi area rekreasi berupa taman dan juga permukiman diatas air. Penduduk Samarinda yang memiliki beragam latar belakang budaya dan kebutuhan secara fisik (difabel) sangat membutuhkan sarana rekreasi berupa ruang terbuka hijau (taman) yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Menurut data pemerintah provinsi Kalimantan Timur (Kaltim) dinilai cukup tinggi karena mencapai 7.331 orang, sehingga pemerintah dan semua pihak terkait perlu untuk menyiapkan fasilitas umum yang ramah terhadap kebutuhan para difabel. Kondisi taman-taman khususnya di area tepian Mahakam belum ada yang ditata khusus sesuai kebutuhan difabel yang telah diatur oleh kementrian PU. Adapun kebutuhan fasilitas yang perlu diperhatikan berupa parkiran khusus difabel, ramp dan tangga, jalur sirkulasi, toilet dan kebutuhan area beristirahat juga ruang laktasi bagi ibu menyusui. Pada Penelitian ini akan menghadirkan konsep-konsep ramah difabel yang dipadukan dengan kearifan lokal budaya setempat dalam hal tampilan desain. Mengedukasi masyarakat akan ragam budaya yang dimiliki oleh penduduk Samarinda juga akan menjadi salah satu konsep yang dihadirkan pada perancangan taman ini. Edukasi akan disampaikan secara visual melalui bentukan-bentukan bangunan pada taman berupa bangunan dengan konsep Neo Vernakular khas Kalimantan Timur, ragam ornamen yang didesain pada pola lantai, ramp, dan bentuk taman labirin. Serta dihadirkan pula spot untuk meletakkan miniatur beberapa rumah tradisional yang mewakili beberapa daerah di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif berupa kajian permasalahan di lapangan berupa peninjauan kondisi site, kajian literatur tentang budaya khususnya budaya Dayak dan Kutai Kalimantan Timur. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah konsep perancangan taman Etam yang dilengkapi fasilitas ramah difabel seperti ramp, parkiran difabel, jalur sirkulasi, tempat istirahat, toilet dan ruang laktasi, serta fasilitas lainnya yang didesain dengan gaya neo vernakular khas Kalimantan Timur. Kata kunci : Taman, Difabel; Budaya; Samarinda; Kalimantan Timur. Abstract_ Samarinda is the capital of the province of East Kalimantan, whose territory is divided by the Mahakam river. Each bank of the Mahakam river is often used as a recreation area in the form of parks and also settlements on water. Samarinda residents who have a variety of cultural backgrounds and physical needs (diffable) really need recreational facilities in the form of green open spaces (parks) that can meet these needs. According to data from the provincial government of East Kalimantan (Kaltim), it is considered quite high because it reaches 7,331 people, so the government and all related parties need to prepare public facilities that are friendly to the needs of people with disabilities. The condition of the parks, especially on the edge of the Mahakam, has not been specially arranged according to the needs of people with disabilities which have been regulated by the Ministry of Public Works. The facility needs attention in the form of special parking for people with disabilities, ramps and stairs, circulation paths, toilets and the need for rest areas as well as lactation rooms for nursing mothers. This research will present diffable-friendly concepts combined with local cultural wisdom in terms of design appearance. Educating the public about the various cultures possessed by Samarinda residents will also be one of the concepts presented in the design of this park. Education will be delivered visually through the formations of buildings in the garden in the form of buildings with a Neovernacular concept typical of East Kalimantan, various ornaments designed on floor patterns, ramps, and the shape of a maze garden. Also presented is a spot to put miniatures of several traditional houses that represent several regions in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative in the form of a study of problems in the field in the form of reviewing site conditions, reviewing literature on culture, especially the Dayak and Kutai cultures of East Kalimantan. The results of this study are a design concept for the Etam park which is equipped with disability-friendly facilities such as ramps, disabled parking, circulation paths, rest areas, toilets and lactation rooms, as well as other facilities designed in a neo vernacular style typical of East Kalimantan. Abstract

Abstrak_Suatu perancangan dengan memanfaatkan potensi iklim lingkungan sekitar disebut dengan Arsitektur Bioklimatik. Prinsip membangun pada iklim tropis lembab hanya dapat dilakukan dengan baik jika memperhatikan pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran proses merancang bangunan tinggi dengan mempertimbangkan aspek iklim dalam setiap dasar pertimbangan konsep arsitektur hingga menghasilkan suatu desain bangunan yang merupakan bentuk aplikasi dari arsitektur bioklimatik. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif eksplorasi guna menggambarkan proses atau tahapan perumusan konsep arsitektur hingga desain akhir yang merupakan bentuk bangunan yang menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik. Teknik analisis yang bersifat eksploratif ini terlebih dahulu menganalisis aspek iklim termasuk orientasi matahari dan angin untuk mengklasifikasikan potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan meminimalkan efek lingkungan yang dapat merusak kenyamanan pengguna. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan proses tahapan perancangan bangunan tinggi dengan menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik, yang mana pada bangunan menerapkan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami secara maksimal. Desain yang menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik sangat memperhatikan kondisi iklim sekitar sehingga dapat menjadi dasar yang mendalam bagi perancangan bangunan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci : Arsitektur Bioklimatik; Adaptasi; Iklim; Pencahayaan; Penghawaan Abstract_ A design that utilizes the potential of the surrounding climate is called Bioclimatic Architecture. The principle of building in a humid tropical climate can only be done well if it pays attention to the influence of the surrounding environment. This study aims to provide an overview of the process of designing high-rise buildings by considering climatic aspects in every primary consideration of architectural concepts to produce a building design which is an application form of bioclimatic architecture. By using the descriptive exploratory method to describe the process or stages of the formulation of architectural concepts to the final design which is a form of building that applies the principles of bioclimatic architecture. This exploratory analysis technique first analyzes climatic aspects including the sun's and wind's orientation to classify the potential that can be exploited and minimize environmental effects that can damage user comfort. The results of this study indicate the process of designing high-rise buildings by applying the principles of bioclimatic architecture, in which the building applies natural lighting and ventilation to the maximum. Designs that apply the principles of bioclimatic architecture are very concerned about the surrounding climatic conditions so that they can be a deep basis for the design of sustainable buildings. Abstract

Abstrak_ Tujuan studi ini untuk menganalisis kecenderungan pilihan konsumen terkait aspek-aspek penataan ruang-dalam pada coworking space yang lebih disukai dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey secara daring menggunakan item Likert yang kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Sebanyak 201 responden mengisi kuesioner daring yaitu mereka dengan kriteria bertempat tinggal atau berdomisili di Yogyakarta serta pernah atau telah beberapa kali memanfaatkan salah satu coffee & coworking space di Yogyakarta dengan tujuan untuk bekerja baik yang bersifat bisnis maupun nonbisnis dalam waktu 6 bulan terakhir. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan pekerjaan di coworking space pengguna cenderung menyukai gaya arsitektur kontemporer, dengan ruang yang memaksimalkan pencahayaan alami yaitu jendela dan penggunaan dinding kaca yang tinggi dan besar, ruang kerja yang didominasi dekorasi tanaman, menyediakan ruang kerja dan perabot dengan fungsi yang lebih privat serta area tenang. Selain itu konsumen lebih memilih penggunaan perabot seperti kursi dan meja kerja dengan fungsi dan bentuk yang lebih santai dan penyediaan ruang dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan penghawaan alami dapat berupa ruang kerja semi terbuka dan ruang kerja luar (outdoor). Hasil tersebut bermanfaat sebagai pertimbangan acuan dalam merancang coworking space yang sesuai dengan preferensi konsumen. Kata kunci : Coworking Space; Atribut Penataan Ruang-Dalam; Konsumen. Abstract_ The study aims at analyzing the tendency of the attributes of interior design coworking spaces that are preferred by users when doing work in coworking spaces. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire containing Likert items which were then statistically descriptively analyzed. There were 201 respondents who live in Yogyakarta that were involved in the research who had several times used coffee & coworking spaces for working, both for business and non-business in the past 6 months. The research was conducted in 2019. The results show that in doing work in coworking spaces, users tend to like contemporary architectural styles, with spaces that maximize natural lighting, namely windows and the use of tall and large glass walls, workspaces that are dominated by plant decorations, providing work space and furniture with a more private function and quiet area, the use of furnitures such as chairs and work desks with a more relaxed function and form and the provision of space by maximizing the use of natural ventilation in the form of semi-open workspaces and outdoor workspaces. The results are beneficial as a reference consideration in designing a coworking space in accordance with consumers preference. Keywords : Coworking Space; Interior Design Attributes; Consumers.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Isu pemanasan global semakin menghangat disemua bidang kehidupan. Kondisi lingkungan semakin hari mengalami kerusakan parah yang disebabkan oleh pemanfaatan sumber daya alam terlalu berlebihan. Lahan tanah pun semakin berkurang akibat tingkat pertumbuhan populasi manusia yang semakin meningkat dan cenderung bersifat destruktif terhadap lingkungan sekitar tanpa melihat keberlanjutannya. Maka penting untuk diterapkannya bentuk arsitektur bangunan yang harus berempati, tanggap, dan menyajikan solusi dalam mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Salah satunya ialah mempersatukan bangunan yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui poin-poin penting dalam menerapkan bangunan yang hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan/eco-house dengan melihat dari gaya hidup dan kebiasaan responden/masyarakat, sehingga dapat menemukan kriteria dasar pada perancangan rumah eco-house yang sesuai dengan preferensi masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner daring yang memiliki sifat terbuka (open-ended) dan disebarkan secara bebas (non-random sampling). Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu open-coding, axial coding dan selective coding. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 4 (empat) isu penting terkait preferensi masyarakat dalam penerapan hunian ramah lingkungan yaitu efisiensi energi dan efisiensi biaya, kepedulian lingkungan, kenyamanan, dan kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan harapan yang cukup besar terhadap implementasi yang lebih luas penerapan rumah ramah lingkungan karena preferensi masyarakat sebagian besar menunjukkan kepedulian dan hanya sedikit yang masih memiliki ketidakpedulian terhadap isu tersebut, maka dari itu masih perlu ketegasan untuk mensosialisasikan dan mengkampanyekan Go Green agar semua masyarakat dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan, karena dampak dari pengaplikasiannya dapat berpengaruh untuk kehidupan kita di masa depan. Kata kunci: Eco-House; Gaya Hidup; Hemat Energi; Isu Prioritas; Preferensi; Ramah Lingkungan. Abstract_ The issue of global warming is getting hotter in all areas of life. Environmental conditions are increasingly experiencing severe damage caused by excessive use of natural resources. Land is also decreasing due to the increasing rate of human population growth and tends to be destructive to the surrounding environment regardless of its sustainability. So it is important to implement a building architectural form that must be empathetic, responsive, and present solutions in reducing environmental impacts. One of them is to unite buildings that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The purpose of this research is to find out the important points in implementing an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building/eco-house by looking at the lifestyle and habits of the respondents/community, so as to find the essential criteria for designing an eco-house that is in accordance with community preferences. The research was conducted qualitatively with the primary data collection method through an online questionnaire which has an open-ended nature and is distributed freely (non-random sampling). The data obtained will be analyzed using content analysis which consists of 3 stages, namely open-coding, axial coding and selective coding. The results of the analysis show 4 (four) important issues related to community preferences in the application of environmentally friendly housing, namely energy efficiency and cost efficiency, environmental care, comfort, and health. The results of the study show that there is considerable hope for a wider implementation of the application of environmentally friendly homes because most of the community's preferences show concern and only a few still have ignorance of the issue, therefore it still needs firmness to socialize and campaign for Go Green so that all people can understand and apply, because the impact of its application can affect our lives in the future. Abstract

Abstrak_ Dalam sebuah perencanaan kota, konsep dan teori tentang perencanaan kota menjadi penting sebagai dasar-dasar pemikirannya. Salah satu teori dan konsep yang diperkenalkan oleh Kevin Lynch adalah teori tentang permeabilitas di dalam sebuah Kawasan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang sebuah Kawasan bersejarah di Singapura yaitu Clarke Quay dengan menggunakan teori permeabilitas yang diperkenalkan oleh Kevin Lynch. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana sebuah Kawasan bersejarah memiliki kemampuan permeabilitas bagi penggunanya. Telaah yang telah dilaksanakan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif naratif dengan mengangkat Kawasan Clarke Quay di Singapura sebagai studi kasus untuk dikaji menggunakan teori permeabilitas. Penelitian dilakukan selama enam bulan dan diselesaikan dengan analisis pemetaan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip permeabilitas. Hasil akhir yang dicapai adalah dengan memperlihatkan bagaimana sebuah Kawasan bersejarah harus memiliki kemampuan permeabilitas bagi penggunanya, sehingga Kawasan tersebut juga memiliki legibilitas atau kejelasan seperti yang disampaikan oleh Kevin Lynch dalam teorinya. Kata kunci : Permeabilitas; Kawasan Bersejarah; Kevin Lynch; Clarke Quay Abstract_ In an urban planning, concepts and theories about urban planning become important as the basics of thought. One of the theories and concepts introduced by Kevin Lynch is the theory of permeability in an area. This paper aims to examine a historic area in Singapore, namely Clarke Quay using the permeability theory introduced by Kevin Lynch. In addition, this study also aims to understand how a historic area has permeability capabilities for its users. This study has been carried out using a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach by using the Clarke Quay area in Singapore as a case study to be studied using the permeability theory. The study was conducted for six months and was completed by mapping analysis using the permeability principles. The final result achieved is to show how a historicarea must have permeability capabilities for its users, so that the area also has legitimacy or clarity as stated by Kevin Lynch in his theory. Abstract

Abstrak_ Pencahayaan Alami Siang Hari (PASH) perlu diterapkan pada bangunan sebagai langkah awal penghematan energi pada bangunan dan peningkatan kinerja pengguna. Untuk mencapai PASH yang baik perlu dihadirkan desain fasad yang dapat mengoptimasi PASH. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Gedung Laboratorium Fakultas Teknik Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. . Selanjutnya, studi ini mengadopsi Climate Based Daylight Modeling (CBDM) dengan metrik Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI) sebagai kriteria PASH. Metrik PASH tersebut hanya efisien dan akurat dilakukan dengan metode simulasi komputasional. Studi ini menggunakan Daysim yang merupakan mesin simulasi PASH tahunan yang dikembangkan dari mesin simulasi Radiance. Mesin simulasi tersebut diakses melalui piranti Grasshopper dan Ladybug Tools. Hasil simulasi pada lantai 1 didapat nilai rata-rata UDI <100 Lux = 27,55%, UDI 100-2000 Lux = 62,89% dan terakhir UDI >2000 = 9,51%. Sedangkan Hasil simulasi pada lantai 2 didapat nilai rata-rata UDI <100 Lux = 26,01%, UDI 100-2000 Lux = 65,56% dan terakhir UDI >2000 = 8,38%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa ruangan yang sama tidak mendapatkan PASH yaitu ruangan yang terletak di bagian dalam dan terhalangi oleh ruangan terluar. Sehingga hal ini perlu dilakukan optimasi kondisi PASH dengan cara memodifikasi desain fasad pada gedung laboratorium tersebut dengan tujuan kinerja PASH pada gedung menjadi lebih baik. Kesimpulan kategori yang didapat untuk PASH dari Gedung Laboratorium Teknik Elektro adalah 64,23% dan termasuk dalam Kategori Baik Kata kunci : Pencahayaan Alami Siang Hari; Simulasi Komputasi, Pemodelan PASH Berbasis Iklim; Desain Fasad; Iluminasi Cahaya Matahari Bermanfaat. Abstract_ Daylighting is required for a building as an initial step for energy saving and improvement of its users’ performance. To achieve good daylighting, it requires a proper façade design. This research investigated the Laboratory of Electrical Engineering building of Universitas Malikussaleh, Lhokseumawe, Indonesia. Next, this study adopted Climate Based Daylight Modeling (CBDM) utilizing Useful Daylight Illuminance (UDI) metric as the criteria for the daylight performance. The metric calculation is only efficient and accurate using computational simulation. Also, this study utilized Daysim, the Radiance derivative, as the annual daylight simulation engine. The engine was accessible through the interface of Grasshopper and Ladybug Tools. The simulation results on the 1st floor obtained an average value of UDI <100 Lux = 27.55%, UDI 100-2000 Lux = 62.89% and UDI> 2000 = 9.51%. While the simulation results on the 2nd floor obtained an average value of UDI <100 Lux = 26.01%, UDI 100-2000 Lux = 65.56% and UDI> 2000 = 8.38%. Results showed several internal spaces had not obtained the daylight at all caused by its adjacent perimeter spaces that blocked the daylight. Therefore, it is required to optimize the façade design of the building by altering the façade of the laboratorium building for better daylight performance inside the spaces. The conclusion of the category obtained for PASH from investigated the Laboratory of Electrical Engineering building is 64,23% and is included in the good category Keywords: Daylighting; Computational Simulation; Climate Based Daylight Modeling; Facade Design; Useful Daylight Illuminance.

Abstract

Abstrak_Pola hidup baru akibat wabah perlu diwujudkan pada desain arsitektur. Pola hidup baru hendaknya terwujud pada desain bangunan sehingga penghuni rumah selalu dalam keadaan aman dan sehat. Penelitian ini ditujukan sebagai berikut: pertama, untuk memformulasikan prinsip-prinsip desain rumah sederhana yang berkompromi dengan pandemi Covid-19; kedua, untuk mengusulkan aplikasi prinsip-prinsip tersebut dengan menggunakan satu contoh desain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini antara lain konsep ruangan, konsep rumah, sirkulasi cahaya, akses higienitas, dan rumah modern minimalis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan kajian Pustaka. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan dengan cara data direduksi, data disajikan, dan data disimpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan sebagai berikut: pertama, formulasi rumah sederhana yang berkompromi dengan Covid-19 didesain dengan cara rumah berkonsep terbuka, rumah modern minimalis, akses higienitas, sirkulasi udara dan pencahayaan; kedua, pengusulan aplikasi prinsip-prinsip pada desain rumah sederhana yang berkompromi dengan pandemi covid-19 diwujudkan dengan cara wastafel diletakkan di fasad; akses rumah dibuat efektif; fasad memanfaatkan teknologi rumah pintar; ruangan tanpa tembokan pemisah dan bukaan jendela besar berkaca; fasad bangunan tidak berventilasi; interior serta fasad bangunan didesain minimalis. Abstract_The new lifestyle due to the epidemic needs to be realized in architectural design. The new lifestyle should be manifested in the design of the building so that the occupants of the house are always safe and healthy. This research is aimed as follows: first, to formulate the principles of simple home design that compromises the Covid-19 pandemic; second, to propose an application of these principles using one design example. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Sources of secondary data in this study include the concept of a room, the concept of a house, light circulation, access to hygiene, and a minimalist modern house. The data collection technique was carried out by means of a literature study. The data analysis technique was carried out by reducing the data, presenting the data, and inferring the data. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded as follows: first, the formulation of a simple house that compromises with Covid-19 is designed by means of an open-concept house, a minimalist modern house, access to hygiene, air circulation and lighting; second, proposing the application of principles to simple house designs that compromise the covid-19 pandemic, which is realized by placing the sink on the facade; home access made effective; facades utilizing smart home technology; rooms without dividing walls and large glass window openings; the facade of the building is not ventilated; The interior and facade of the building are minimalist in design. Abstract

Abstrak_ Permukiman padat di tengah kota dan populasinya yang semakin meningkat merupakan suatu masalah urban yang kerap terjadi. Wilayah-wilayah tersebut menampung berbagai kalangan masyarakat, termasuk para lanjut usia (lansia) yang memilih untuk tetap tinggal atau bertahan di lingkungan tempat tinggalnya pada masa usia senja. Keterbatasan motorik yang semakin dihadapi lansia tidak mengurangi kebutuhannya untuk tetap bepergian, termasuk berjalan kaki di sekitar area permukiman. Kondisi spasial lingkungan tempat tinggal memegang peran yang sangat penting untuk mendukung mobilitas lansia di ruang luar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengeksplorasi kegiatan mobilitas lansia ketika berjalan kaki di ruang luar dan memahami kebutuhan yang mendukung kegiatan tersebut. Upaya tersebut ditempuh dengan mengkaji kegiatan responden lansia selama bermobilitas, serta karakteristik jejalur dan titik kegiatan yang terakses. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode person-centered mapping dan merekam 25 rute berjalan kaki oleh 19 responden lansia. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah jejalur yang diakses oleh responden lansia ketika bermobilitas di ruang luar didukung oleh faktor (1) fasilitas; (2) jarak dan letak jalur; (3) lebar jalur; dan (4) kondisi material. Penelitian ini turut merekomendasikan terbentuknya ruang terbuka di persimpangan atau tengah permukiman padat kota dengan akses yang mudah dan fasilitas yang beragam untuk mendukung kegiatan bermobilitas lansia di ruang luar. Kata kunci: Lansia; Berjalan kaki; Permukiman padat kota; Jalur; Ruang terbuka di persimpangan Abstract_Densely populated settlement in the middle of the city and its increasing population are urban problems that often occur. These areas accommodate various groups of people, including the elderlies, choosing to stay permanently in the neighborhood for relishing old age life. Physical limitations faced by the elderlies do not reduce the need to keep going out, including walking around the settlement. Spatial conditions in the neighborhood play a very important role in supporting the mobility of the elderlies in outdoor spaces. Therefore, this study seeks to explore the elderlies’ mobility activities when walking in outdoor spaces and understand the needs that support these activities. These efforts were taken by examining the occurring activities during the mobility, and the characteristics of the accessed streets and activity nodes. The research was conducted using the person-centered mapping method and recorded 25 walking routes by 19 elderlies. The result obtained from this study is the streets accessed by the elderlies are supported by (1) facilities; (2) distance and location; (3) width; and (4) material condition. This study also recommends the establishment of an accessible junction open space with various facilities in the middle of dense urban settlements to support the elderlies’ mobility. Abstract

Abstract_ The COVID-19 pandemic has brought changes in both activities and space design to prevent the wider spread of the virus. These changes need an adaptation so that activities can run smoothly. Adaptation can be in the form of changes in space design, activities, and so on. One of the activities that began to be carried out was learning at school. In this regard, the purpose of this research is to see what changes have occurred (design and regulations) and the process of human adaptation to these changes. This research was conducted on 4 objects, namely SD 14 Pontianak Kota Subdistrict, SD 56 West Pontianak Subdistrict, SMP 2 South Pontianak Subdistrict, and SMP 10 South Pontianak Subdistrict. The methodology used is place-centered mapping, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study showed changes in the form of physical such as the provision of handwashing facilities, temperature checking, and changes in the overall seating arrangement and space setting changes at the level of acceptance. As for non-physical changes (regulations) such as the circulation path, it shows that humans are at a level in the process (some accept and reject). This shows that humans are more receptive to changes/adaptations to physical things, while non-physical changes still allow humans to refuse and act by what they usually do. Abstract

Abstract_ Kampung Bandar is an old town that became the forerunner of the development of Pekanbaru City. Kampung Bandar is located on the banks of Siak River, a river that is a source of life and a place for people to carry out their daily activities. The existence of the Siak River creates a unique socio-cultural atmosphere for the community. The purpose of this study is to reveal the Genius Loci in Kampung Bandar using the Genius Loci approach proposed by Norberg-Schultz within the framework of architectural phenomenology. The method used in the process of collecting data in this study is a qualitative method. Research shows that the Genius Loci of Kampung Bandar are formed by the community's attachment to the Siak River which is manifested in the form of buildings, traditions, and community activities in daily life.
