Abstract

Puhu Village has abundant local potential, one of which is the Micro Business of processing buntilan, jaje uli (ceremonial facilities) and generators. Micro business development carried out by the community in Puhu Village experienced many obstacles. This service aims to produce buntilan preservation technology and produce jaje uli drying technology by utilizing fuel from livestock waste (biogas) in Puhu Village, Payangan District, Gianyar Regency. This service is carried out through the stages of discussion, socialization, training and mentoring. The program carried out in Puhu Village has been going well and is on target. There were two activities carried out and they became a solution to the problems in Puhu Village. The first activity was training in preserving the buntilan by boiling the cornhusk and doing airtight packaging. The second activity is making jaje uli drying machine by utilizing livestock waste as an energy source. Buntil maintenance activities are able to extend the shelf life, which previously lasted for about one day, now it can last for three to four days. Making jaje uli drying machines by utilizing livestock waste as an energy source provides benefits where previously jaje uli makers were only able to produce in sunny weather because in the drying process utilizing sunlight now jaje uli makers are able to dry jaje uli in the rainy season with a shorter time. Abstract

The difficulty in obtaining seeds and the high price of seedlings prompted the implementation of the Campus Intellectual Product Business Development Program (PPUPIK) for superior local fruit seedlings of seedless BalineseWani at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. In order to support the successful development of the Seedless Wani Seed Business Unit, it is necessary to have a more in-depth study using a SWOT analysis. The research was conducted in Banjar Duren Taluh, Belimbing Village, Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency in April - August 2020. The study was conducted with a SWOT analysis to see the performance of business units by determining a combination of internal factors (strength and weakness) with external factors (opportunity and threats). Furthermore, the EFI and EFE matrices are made. The results of the two matrices are then entered into a qualitative model, namely the SWOT matrix to formulate the company's competitive strategy. Based on the results of the EFE and EFE value analysis, the Seedless Wani Seed Business Unit is in cell one where in this position the business unit can implement a growth strategy with vertical integration by taking over the supplier function or by taking over the function of the distributor. This is the main strategy for companies that have a strong and highly competitive market position. Keywords: Bali local fruit, Seedless wani seedling, SWOT analysis

Abstract

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2013, the rate of anemia in Indonesia was 46.3%, of which the highest prevalence was in the elderly group. The problem of anemia in the elderly is becoming very serious as the elderly population is increasing, anemia increases morbidity and mortality. Anemia in the elderly is caused by a lack of nutrients such as protein, iron, vitamin B12, folic acid, vitamin C as well as eating habits that inhibit nutrient absorption. Eighty elderly people participated in public service activities including measuring hemoglobin (Hb) levels, followed by providing multivitamins and iron supplements, and educating them on nutrient deficiency prevention. As a result, there were 27 elderly people with anemia (33.7%), 53 people (66.3%) with normal hemoglobin levels, and the rate of anemia in women (37.5%) was higher than in men. 28.1%). These data suggest a very high prevalence of anemia in the elderly, especially in older women. Keywords: anemia, elderly, hemoglobin, iron, multivitamin,

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the elderly was at high risk of being infected with SarCoV2, so it necessary to maintain the elderly immunity with socializing the use of natural immunomodulators and providing supplements to the elderly in Ketewel Village. After obtaining permission from the Village Head, the activities will be carried out in August 2021. Starting with the socialization of natural immunomodulators, followed by the distribution of vitamin supplements. The activity was attended by 72 people consisting of 29 men (40.3%) and 43 women (59.7%). All elderly (100%) used natural ingredients but did not know their function for immunity. The high use of natural materials was due to the fact that it integrated into the daily life in the village. However, when asked about the term "natural immunomodulator" only 6 people (6.3%) knew about it, this was due to the level of the elderly knowledge and had never socialized.
