Abstract

Bangsring Beach has the potential of unique marine natural resources and beautiful beaches. Underwater sea. Bangsring Beach also has rides that are played by visitors, one of which is snorkeling, Bangsring beach itself has several snorkeling sports while there are sprots that are often visited and rarely come, so that visitors or snorkelers have not yet enjoyed the sport that is not often visited a visitor. The purpose of this study is to study fish among the sports that are frequently visited by visitors and which are not frequented by visitors and anthropogenic activities also make the fish needed in these two sports increasingly lost. The method I use uses a simple technique which determines the station that I pick is determined by myself because the stations that depend on it are rarely visited by visitors. The results of this study found 29 species between the two sports that have been determined. To reduce the fish in Bangsring Beach due to unexpected environmental changes and the activities of visitors who step on coral reefs and make dead coral make suitable fish on Bunder beach.

Abstract

Filter mud is one of the dense waste produced by sugar factories. So far, sugar factories dispose the filter mud by directly piling them up in the field without going through any recycle process, causing serious problems for the sugar factory and the surrounding environment. Filter mud has the potential to be made as organic fertilizer. Besides being a adequately complete nutrient source, it can also help fixing the soil physical, chemical and biological properties. Vermicompost is an eco friendly organic fertilizer and has its own advantages compared to other compost which we have known so far. This study aims to determine the macro nutrient elements, namely C-Organic, N-Total and C/N Ratio in sugar filter mud which are composted by the vermicomposting method using earthworm species (Eudrilus eugeniae). The method used is the preservation of worms with bedding and food material from filter mud waste for 28 days, the C-organic test with spectrophotometry and the N-total test using Kjeldahl-Nessier method. The calculation of the C/N ratio is the value comparison of C-organic and N-total. Data analysis is using Anova with the help of Jamovi and also by doing a further test of BNJ 5%. The best results of the study are of C-organic levels obtained on day 14, for N-total during the vermicomposting process, the value of N-total always increases during composting and the best C/N ratio is obtained on the 14th day observations with control treatment M1 (without worms), M1 (25 worms) and M2 (with 50 worms). Anova test and 5% BNJ showed that the results of the observation day variable had a significant effect with the quality of macro elements in vermicompost, while the differences in control treatment had no effect on the quality of micro nutrients.

Abstract

One of the most popular types of orchids by the public is the Dendrobium Orchid. One of the functions of adding growth regulators is Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) which functions to accelerate root growth. The content possessed by IBA can cause additional roots under certain conditions. This study aims to determine the optimal variation of the concentration of the hormone Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) on the growth of Dendrobium hybrid orchids. Acclimatized Dendrodium hybrid seedlings were selected first, planted on charcoal media, and treated twice a week for two months using an IBA concentration of 0.25; 0.50; 0.75; and 1 ml/L. In this study, the optimal concentration of IBA with root length parameters was at a concentration of 1 ml/L with an average of 2.33. For a concentration of 0.75 ml/L with the parameter of the number of new roots having an average of 1.94 and the parameter of the number of leaves having an average of 1.85. Plant length with a concentration of 0.50 ml/L had an average of 2.56. The concentration of 0.25 ml/L with leaf length parameter has an average of 1.94 while the wet weight parameter has an average of 1.04. For the effect of giving IBA hormone on survival, the most optimal concentration was 0.75 ml/L with 91% live and 9% dead.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an infectious disease caused by a virus transmitted by the mosquito Aedes aegypti L. One of the DBD vector eradication programs involves using synthetic insecticides. The use of synthetics (chemicals) is known to be very effective, relatively easy, and practical, but it has a negative impact on the environment. One is using natural insecticides; in this way, it is expected to inhibit the life cycle of mosquitoes before they develop to adulthood. The natural insecticide used is a plant insecticide from the green leaf plant (Pipper betle L) and the leaf of the papaya (Carica papaya L), because both plants have a secondary metabolite compound that can inhibit the growth of the larvae of the mosquito Aedes aegypti L. The method in this study is a simple experimental design with a complete random effect (RAL) to see the effectiveness of extracts of green coriander leaves and papaya leaves. With each extract being tested for its effectiveness, three treatments and one control were performed. The research using the extraction method, i.e., the mazeration method of observing larval death, was conducted for 1 hour of observation to determine the effectiveness of treatment extracts tested using Anova level 5% and probit analysis to determine LC50 values. The average mortality of mosquito larvae (Aedes aegypti L) after treatment with ethanol extract of green syrup leaves at a concentration of 60% at 100%, at a concentration of 40% at 87%, and at a concentration of 20% at 47%.

Abstract

The seeds of the jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) have not been used more by the community to make various processed food products. Even though jackfruit seeds contain many nutrients, especially potassium. Jackfruit seeds are rich in nutrients, especially carbohydrates, potassium, phosphorus and fat. The jackfruit seed contains 165 kcal of energy and 36.7 kcal of carbohydrates, which is quite high compared to the content of young jackfruit and ripe jackfruit. Seeing the content of jackfruit seeds which are rich in nutrients, these jackfruit seeds can be an alternative as a raw material for processing vegetable milk. Vegetable milk can be used as a basic ingredient for making probiotic drinks to increase the value of the benefits of this vegetable milk. This study used the Lactobacillus casei bacteria which acts as a probiotic bacteria. The study was conducted with different treatments at 20°C, 25°C, 30°C, and 37°C. Each treatment was repeated 4 times and 24 experimental samples were obtained. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that storage temperature had a significant effect on the organoleptic quality of probiotic jackfruit seed milk in terms of color and taste, but had no significant effect on the aroma parameters of probiotic jackfruit seed milk.
