Abstract

ABSTRACTThe background of this paper is the lack of readiness of educators in Indonesia, especially for mathematics educators in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The purpose of this paper is to prepare mathematics educators to encounter AEC so that they can compete, and make the AEC as an opportunity, not as a threat to his career. To overcome these problems, the solutions offered are: 1) The mastery in innovative learning model, as an example of cooperative learning model Think-Talk-Write (TTW), which can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes, and the ability of students' mathematical representation and communication, 2) The mastery of the use of technology, one of them is using mathematical software called Autograph, which can make mathematics educators have the creativity in showing the beauty of mathematics so that can attract the learners to learn. The mastery of an innovative learning model and the mastery of the use of technology such as Think-Talk-Write (TTW) and Autograph is expected to be the solution to improve the quality of mathematics educators in Indonesia.Keywords: Think Talk Write (TTW), AutographABSTRAKLatar belakang penulisan makalah ini adalah masih rendahnya kesiapan para pendidik di Indonesia khususnya pendidik matematika dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA). Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk mempersiapakan para pendidik matematika dalam menghadapi MEA sehingga dapat bersaing, dan menjadikan MEA sebagai peluang bukan ancaman bagi kariernya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah: 1) Penguasaan model pembelajaran yang dapat inovatif, sebagai contoh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Talk-Write (TTW) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, dan kemampuan representasi serta komunikasi matematis siswa, 2) Pengguasaan terhadap penggunaan tekhnologi salah satunya penggunaan software matematika yaitu Autograph yang dapat membuat pendidik matematika memiliki kreativitas dalam memperlihatkan keindahan dari matematika yang dapat menarik minat peserta didik untuk belajar. Pengguasaan model pembelajaran yang inovatif, dan pengguasaan penggunaan tekhnologi seperti Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan Autograph diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidik matematika di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Think Talk Write (TTW), Autograph.

Abstract

A civilization will decrease if there is demoralization in society. Many experts, philosophers and sages say that the moral factor (morality) is the main thing that should be built first in order to build a society that is orderly, safe, and prosperous. One of the main obligations that must be run by parents and educators is to preserve and teach moral values to our children. Instilled moral values will shape the character that is an important foundation for the formation of a civilized society and prosperous. First we believe once that three basic capital that belongs to Indonesia as a large area, abundant natural resources and large population, will bring our nation becomes prosperous. But it turned out everything was not proven. Even if we look at countries "little man" who does not have these criteria, such as Singapore and Hong Kong (now a state of China), could be considered developed countries of the world. South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, for example, countries known for low crime rates, and it is the developed countries with well-known character of its people who have a high work ethic.Keywords : Integrated Learning, Character

Abstract

This research was conducted as an alternative learning for the study of the magnetic field using the 2D Ising Model with simulation method. The programs are written in macro language and ran in ImageJ software. The research of designing a system size namely 32 x 32, energy and magnetization are measured as functions of temperature. Simulation conducted to see the magnetic momen when temprature is changed on the system. It is found that for low temperature regime, the absolute magnetization close to 1, which means tha tall spins are in the homogeneous state. By the increase the temperature close to the critical one = 2,3, the magnetization decrease drastically into zero. For the energy, low temperature regime gives the low energy. By the increase the temperature, the energy increase drastically near the critical temperature, and finally close to zero for high temperature regime. The state of the system is changed from ferromagnetic into the paramagnetic.Keywords : Magnetic Field, Magnetization, Energy, 2D Ising Model, Learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Secara umum penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh jawaban atas pertanyaan apakah terdapat hubungan pengajaran Firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di gereja Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP) Cikampek. Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan pengajaran firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi yang menggunakan random sampling, di mana sampelnya adalah 40 remaja HKBP Cikampek.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif namun non signifikan antara pengajaran firman Tuhan dengan motivasi beribadah remaja di Gereja HKBP Cikampek.Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,183 yang menunjukkan korelasi kedua variabel adalah lemah, serta koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,033 yang menunjukkan variabel pengajaran firman Tuhan mempengaruhi motivasi beribadah remaja sebesar 3,3% sedangkan 96,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata Kunci :Pengajaran Firman Tuhan, Motivasi Beribadah Remaja ABSTRACT In general, this study was conducted to obtain the answers to the question whether there is a relationship between teaching the Word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at Batak Christian Protestant Church (HKBP), Cikampek. the purpose of this research is to know the magnitude of the relationship of teaching the word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (HKBP). This research is a correlational study. Random sampling was employed, where the sample is 40 teens HKBP Cikampek. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there is a positive but non-significant relationship between teaching the word of God with the motivation of adolescent worship at the church HKBP Cikampek. This is shown by the correlation coefficient of 0.183 which shows the correlation of the two variables is weak, and the coefficient of determination of 0.033 which shows the variables of teaching the word of God affects the motivation of adolescent worship of 3.3% while 96.7% influenced by other factors. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to gain an overview and understanding of the ideology contained in the text of the discourse structure dialogue comedy show of Sentilun Sen-tilun. The method used is the method of Critical Discourse Analysis Norman Fairclough models are limited to the description (text analysis). The findings of this critical discourse studies indicated that there is a positive response from the public however it is loaded with scathing criticism that occurred in political situation in Indonesia and may affect people of Indonesia through positive ideology that is the desire to improve the political and legal understanding of Indonesian society. Based on the analysis of critical dis-course, the comedy show of Sentilan Sentilun is expected to bring changes as follows: (1) the way people view on the campaign in Indonesia; (2) the way people view on the election of the leaders in Indonesia; (3) the way people view on how to be a leader; and (4) the way people view on what should be a leader.Keywords : comedy, ideology, critical discourse analysis

Abstract

ABSTRACTIndonesia has about 25000-30000 species of plants and inhabited by 300-700 ethnic.The ethnic groups in Indonesia uses of plants for variety of purposes, one of them asmedicine. The uses of plants as medicine passed on orally and thus susceptibledegraded. Ethnomedicine studies is can be use to documentation of medicinal plantsby ethnics through scientifically research methods. This article aims to explain theethnomedicine studies in Indonesia and its approach research methods. This paper isbased on literature offline and online media. Ethnomedicine is perception andconception of ethnic/local communities to health concept by local ethnics.Ethnomedicine studies in Indonesia was initiated by Rumphius on century 19th whichdocumention of uses of plant by local etnich Ambon. Those are documented in thebooks with entitle Amboinense Herbarium. Heyne in 1927 recorded 1040 spesieswhich uses by local ethnic Indonesia, that are documented in the book entitled Denuttige planten van Nederlandsch. Research continues to increased, but mainconcentrated in Java and Bali, while the other islands is few. Ethnomedicine studiescan be approaches do public surveys and market surveys. Pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai bahan obat sebagian besardiwariskan secara lisan sehingga rentan terdegradasi. Studi etnomedisin merupakansalah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk medokumentasikan pemanfaatantumbuhan oleh etnis dengan metode penelitian yang dapat diterima secara ilmiah.Tulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan studi etnomedisin khususnya di Indonesia danmetode penelitiannya. Tulisan ini didasarkan pada literatur offline and online media.Etnomedisin adalah presepsi dan konsepsi etnis/masyarakat lokal dalam memahamikesehatan. Studi etnomedisin di Indonesia diawali oleh Rumphius pada abat ke-19yang mendokumentasikan pemafaatan tumbuhan oleh masyarakat Ambon danpulau-pulau yang didokumentasikan dalam buku Herbarium Amboinense. Heynepada tahun 1927 mencatat sebanyak 1040 tumbuhan bermanfaat obat yangdidokumentasikan pada buku berjudul Tumbuhan Bermanfaat Indonesia. Penelitianterus berkembang, namun sebagian besar memusatkan di pulau Jawa dan Bali,sedangkan pulau lainnya masih sedikit. Penelitian etnomedisin dapat dilakukanpendekatan survei masyarakat dan survei pasar. Abstract

This research was conducted by the low result of physics study of 17 Agustus 1945 Senior students in Jakarta. The low result of physics study caused by the teaching methods which is still focused on teacher-centered. One of the improvemens in teaching and learning of Physics that can be done is to adopt a creative learning physics and applied so as to help students understand the concepts of physics. STAD learning model is one of the creative learning and aplikatif.This research aims is to determine the effectiveness of using learning model STAD to increasing the concept of energy and power. The subjects were students of class X is 42 people were divided into experimental class and control class. The data were collected from both groups and were analyzed using SPSS 22 for windows. The results of data analysis obtained that the mastery of the concepts of Physics students experimental group increased by an average of 31.14 from 44.38 into 75.52, higher than the control kolompok with an increase of an average of 14:13 of 45.00 into 59.13. These results revealed that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.Therefore it can be concluded that the model of STAD can be effectively improved the result of physics study.Keywords : STAD, teacher-centered, result of Physics study

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between creativity with high school chemistry teacher performance in Jabodetabek in 2016. The design of this study is a survey with correlation approach. The sample size was 118 high school chemistry teachers selected by simple random sampling. The research instrument used are (1) the scale of teacher chemistry performance, and (2) creativity scale. Data were analyzed by using simple regression correlation and multiple regression correlation. The findings of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between creativity with high school chemistry teacher performance.Keywords: teacher, performance, creativity, relationship ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kreativitas dengan kinerja guru kimia SMA di Jabodetabek pada tahun 2016. Adapun desain penelitian ini adalah survey dengan pendekatan korelasi. Jumlah sampel adalah 118 orang guru kimia SMA di pilih dengan cara sampling acak sederhana. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu (1) skala kinerja guru kimia, dan (2) skala kreativitas. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi regresi sederhana dan korelasi regresi ganda. Adapun temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kreativitas dengan kinerja guru kimia SMA.Kata kunci: guru, kinerja, kreatifitas, hubungan

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research conducted aims to examine the application of Cooperative Learning model type STAD combined with the Culture-Based Group Project in improving students high order thinking skills. This research was conducted in Biotechnology matery. The group projectreferred to in this study is a task which in group who makeproducts by conventional Biotechnology processed. This conventional Biotechnology product must be adapted to the culture of each student's region. This product is a colorful product and combined with typical food in the regional culture of each student.This research is a classroom action research. The design of this research uses a modification of the Kemmis & McTaggart model in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of Biology Education, Facultyof Teacher Training and Education at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI). The research instrument uses observation sheets and evaluation of learning outcomes that measure high-level thinking skills in the realm of C4 - C6. Data analysis techniques are conducted in qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive with a T. Test. The results showed that after the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model type STADcombined with a culture-based Group Project that the standard of success had reached greater than 75% and was complete. The results of the T test between the pretest and posttest cycle I and post-cycle one with posttest cycle II also showed a significance value of 0,000. These results state that if P <0.05, there are significant differences between pretest, posttest cycle 1, and posttest cycle2. Higher-order thinking skills from pretest to cycle 1 to cycle 2 experience improvement. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Group Project, High order thinking skills ABSTRAK Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk menguji penerapan model Cooperative Learning Tipe STAD dipadu dengan Group Project Berbasis Budaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah Bioteknologi. Grup project yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah suatu tugas kelompok mahasiswa yang membuat produk olahan Bioteknologi konvensional. Produk Bioteknologi konvensional ini haruslah disesuaikan dengan budaya masing masing daerah asal mahasiswa. Produk ini adalah produk yang berwarna–warni dan dipadu dengan makanan khas yang ada di budaya daerah masing masing mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Desain penelitian ini menggunakan modifikasi model Kemmis & McTaggart dalam 2 siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan di Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI). Instrument penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal evaluasi hasil belajar yang mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam ranah C4 - C6. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkannya model Cooperative LearningTipe STAD dipadu dengan Group Project Berbasis budaya bahwa standar keberhasilan telah mencapai lebih besar dari 75% dan tuntas. Pada hasil uji T antara pretes dengan postes siklus I dan postes siklus satu dengan postes siklus II juga menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 0,000. Hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa jika P<0,05, maka ada perbedaan nyata antara pretes, postes siklus 1, dan postes siklus2. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dari pretes ke siklus 1 sampai ke siklus 2 mengalamai peningkatan. Kata kunci: Cooperative Learning, Group Project, Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi

Abstract

This research was conducted as a learning alternatives for study of CT (computed tomograpghy) imaging using image reconstruction technique which are inversion matrix, back projection and filtered back projection. CT imaging can produce images of objects that do not overlap. Objects more easily distinguishable although given the relatively low contrast. The image is generated on CT imaging is the result of reconstruction of the original object. Matlab allows us to create and write imaging algorithms easily, easy to undersand and gives applied and exciting other imaging features. In this study, an example cross-sectional image recon-struction performed on the body of prostate tumors using. With these methods, medical prac-titioner (such as oncology clinician, radiographer and medical physicist) allows to simulate the reconstruction of CT images which almost resembles the actual CT visualization techniques.Keywords : computed tomography (CT), image reconstruction, Matlab
