Abstract

Research has conducted student teachers’s performance influence to improving student’s learning outcomes in high school in August 2015 - January 2016. The study was conducted with 4 phases: (1).Providing pretest, posttest and questionnaires. (2). Data collection pretest, posttest and questionnaires. (3). Data processing such as coding and simple regression model . (4). Simple regression analysis and variable presentation supporting student’s learning. The correlation coefficient 0.712 (71.2%) for the relation between the two variables categorized strong. Determasi coefficient value of 0, 507 (50.7%) which describe student  teacher’s performance (X) has the effect of a contribution of 50.7% to the student’s learning outcomes (Y) and 49.30% influenced by other factors. Regression model Y = -43.507 + 2,887X.T test obtained Thitung 10,69 greater than  Ttable  1.98  which mean that there is influence student teacher’s performance toward improving student learning outcomes. F test obtained Fhitung 115.23 value greater than Ftable which mean the model is expressed well.

Abstract

This research was conducted as an alternative learning for the study of the magnetic field using the 2D Ising Model with simulation method. The programs are written in macro language and ran in ImageJ software. The research of designing a system size namely 32 x 32, energy and magnetization are measured as functions of temperature. Simulation conducted to see the magnetic momen when temprature is changed on the system. It is found that for low temperature regime, the absolute magnetization close to 1, which means tha tall spins are in the homogeneous state. By the increase the temperature close to the critical one = 2,3, the magnetization decrease drastically into zero. For the energy, low temperature regime gives the low energy. By the increase the temperature, the energy increase drastically near the critical temperature, and finally close to zero for high temperature regime. The state of the system is changed from ferromagnetic into the paramagnetic.Keywords : Magnetic Field, Magnetization, Energy, 2D Ising Model, Learning.

Abstract

According to regulation No. 20/2000, education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential, to have spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and the skills needed by themselves, society, nation, and country. To realize this we need learning methods and models that are able to increase student enthusiasm and be able to improve student learning outcomes. Of the several learning approaches, the initial experiment approach (starter experiment approach), is one alternative in learning physics. This research was conducted in class XI Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 98 Jakarta, East Jakarta, with a research schedule from January to September 2018. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class students after receiving the SEA learning model treatment was 87.38, while the class control with conventional learning models 80.36.

Abstract

Located in the Southeast Asia region, Indonesia has rainy and dry seasons. In the rainy and dry seasons that occur in Indonesia, often causes many problems in various business sectors and community activities, including floods and droughts. It is known that the disaster will have an impact on material and non-material losses. This study uses climate data and disaster data at the village level to determine the effect of rainfall on disasters. This study uses the instrumental variable method because the model has endogeneity problems. The study results concluded that increased rainfall had a positive impact on flood disasters with a coefficient of 0.003038. Simultaneously, rainfall also impacted drought with a coefficient of -0.000377.  Variables in the regression model that are formed can explain 1.74 percent of the flood disaster and 0.59 percent of the drought disaster. These results indicate that most of the other variables can influence flooding and drought. Through this research, it is known that rainfall for floods and droughts is quite significant. Therefore, government and community efforts are needed to anticipate similar disasters.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digunakan sebagai alat penunjang yang dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Media pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Memberikan pengetahuan teoritis kepada guru-guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan tentang pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran sains di TK, 2) Melatih guru-guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan menggunakan media sains sederhana sebagai penunjang pembelajaran sains untuk anak TK. 3) Melatih guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan membuat media sains sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru sangat senang dengan diadakannya pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Selain itu pengetahuan guru-guru TK juga meningkat yang dilihat dengan peningkatan kreatifitas guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran sains sederhana. Hasil praktik mengajar dan penggunaan media oleh guru-guru TK menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dilihat dari cara penyajian materi dan cara mengajar guru dalam membelajarkan sains juga meningkat. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran Sains, Guru, Taman Kanak Kanak. Abstract The use of learning media as a supporting tool in the teaching and learning process in class. Learning media can be a solution to overcome learning problems. The objectives of this activity are: 1) Providing theoretical knowledge the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten about the importance of using science learning media, 2) Training the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten using learning media as a support science learning for kindergarten. 3) Training the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten in South Tangerang makes media science. Location of this activity at the Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten in South Tangerang. The results of the activities are that teachers are very happy with the training on the use of learning media. Besides that, the knowledge of teachers increases which can be seen from the increase in creativity from the teacher in creating simple science learning media. The results of teaching practices by teachers showed good results. It can be seen from the presentation and how to teach in learning science is increase. Abstract

The agricultural sector is still a reliable sector in Indonesia. The most favored commodity from the agricultural sector is rice. Rice production is strongly influenced by Pest Attack (OPT) and rainfall intensity. The life cycle of OPT in rice is also affected by the intensity of rainfall. This study aims to determine the forecasting of rainfall and the extent of OPT for 2018. The location of the study was taken in Bogor Regency, West Java Province. This study uses secondary data in the form of rainfall data and extensive data on pest attacks in 2006-2017. In this study using the Exponential Smoothing Method and the level of accuracy of forecasting results using Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Absolut Deviation (MAD). Forecasting Results Rainfall and the extent of OPT attacks for 2018 were obtained 313.20 mm and 1,967 m2 respectively. Rainfall rates in 2018 were categorized as normal.Keyword: forecasting, rainfall, pest attack, Exponential Smoothing.

Abstract

This research have been designed a structure of artificial neural network (ANN) with using backpropagation to recognize signal pattern of human voice. The signal should first be processed with Linear Predictive Coding (LPC). Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) used for extraction characteristic. Producing matrix with 24 x50 orde which is then becoming input data for Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation (ANN-BP). There nets consist of 4 layers. Those 4 layers are : 1 input layers with 24 neuron, 2 hidden layers which are devided as 15 neuron at the first hidden layer and 10 neuron at the second, The last output with 5 neuron.For 5 training data, parameter characteristic value of net such us: Learning rate value (alpha) = 0,05 and mu value (μ) = 10-3with using by sigmoid bipolar activation function. The result of the research shows that the nets can recognize as 100 % of 25 trainning data, 74 % of 25 testing data.Keywords : Artificial Neural Network, Back propagation, voice recognation

Abstract

Schools are places where the teaching and learning process is carried out should provide a conducive atmosphere so that educational goals are expected to be achieved. One of the main factor that is quite disturbing when the learning process takes place is the noise. The school where this research is located is one of the schools that is close to the noise source. The location of this research is 34 MTs in Jakarta which is located at a radius of 0.34 km from the runway of Halim Perdanakusuma airport. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Sound noise level data collection is done by using a sound level meter. Data is measured by a momentary sound pressure level of 5 minutes, or Leq (5 minutes) for each measurement point. The noise level at 34 MTs Jakarta in five measurement points respectively were 84.87 dB, 79.60 dB, 81.73 dB, 81.00 dB and 85.20 dB. The highest noise level is at point 5 which is the side facing the runway at Halim Perdanakusuma airport. The average noise level is 83.85 dB. This value is in the very noisy category according to Kep-48 MNLH / 11/1996. From the results of questionnaire analysis, 46.1% of respondents stated that the school was noisy, then 36.2% of students stated that the noisy conditions disrupted communication while carrying out the learning process in the classroom and 36.9% of respondents stated that noise from Halim Perdanakusuma airport activities disturbed their concentration in the teaching and learning process in the classroom Keywords: noise level, school, sound level meter, learning process

Abstract

Technological developments present many choices of learning media. The learning media that is the prima donna during the pandemic is a virtual laboratory. Virtual laboratories are used by teachers as a substitute for face-to-face practicum activities. There are many kinds of virtual laboratory applications that have been spread, one of which is the "PhET" simulation application. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of using the PhET simulation application on improving student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMAN 54 Jakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires and tests were used to obtain data on student learning outcomes. Data analysis used t test and N-gain test. The t-test was used to see if there was an effect of using a virtual laboratory on student learning outcomes. While the N-Gain test is to see how effective the use of virtual laboratories is to improve learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes after using a virtual laboratory application.
