Abstract

This article examines the urgency of the role of students in spreading the net of religious moderation in the virtual world (digital). Considering the growing movement of extremist/radical/terrorist groups in the digital space, there needs to be a balance or even dominance of polite (moderate) Islamic doctrine in an effort to maintain the stability of socio-religious life. Moreover, the rapid development of technology, digital media is now a public consumption for communication, sharing, and accessing scientific sources, including in conveying an increasingly varied religious expression. Therefore, in this article, we try to explore the important contribution that generation Z students can make as productive consumers of social media in an effort to spread the net of religious moderation (smart Islam) in the digital space (air). First, being able to read what social media platforms are most in demand by the public. Second, being able to create creative content about moderate da'wah and interesting to watch. Third, continue to maintain the consistency of da'wah in the digital space. Fourth, fresh innovations by students are able to give a new color to the preaching of religious moderation in Indonesia. A qualitative approach is a step that is applied in systematically compiling this article. By utilizing the library research method with relevant sources and utilizing social media channels as examples of content references that are studied in detail, later it will be related to how reading opportunities for students in spreading the symbols of religious moderation in the digital space can be realized. In this way, guarding religious moderation and countering hardline groups does not only involve teachers, experts, and clergy, but also involves students as the golden generation of moderates.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the Muktazilah school played a major role during the Ummayah and Abbasid dynasties by using qualitative methods through a literature research approach, this article aims to look at the political development of the Abbasid Caliphate which was full of ups and downs. It started when the rebels (Mu'tazilah and Shi'a) jointly overthrew the Umayyad caliphate and ended with the fall of Baghdad in the hands of the Mongols. But behind his political struggle, the Mu'tazilah were able to build a strong foundation to spread his teachings, especially to place influential people in the palace. During the caliphate of al-Ma'mun, al-Mu'tashim, and al-Watsiq, the Mu'tazilis gained a strategic position in the Abbasid government, and because of that, controlled state policy. This article tries to reveal how the Mu'tazilites rose in influence in the internal policies of the state to the top, (especially during the mihnah period), and how their glory faded away. This fact led the writer to conclude that Wasil bin 'Atha's (founder of Mu'tazilah) strategy brought the Mu'tazilah to the peak of their political influence. Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding the mihnah itself played a role in the antipathy of the Abbasid people.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the selling mechanism and to understand the reflection of sharia economic law on the mechanism for selling Non-Fungible Token (NFT)-based digital works/creations on the Opensea Platform. This research includes library research (library research) which uses secondary data consisting of three legal materials, namely primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. This research is a descriptive analysis. The data collected was analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the mechanism for selling NFTs on opensea is having a balance of cryptocurrency or Ethereum money through a MetaMask wallet, having an account, owning an NFT work, determining the price, how long will the NFT last last uploading the NFT on opensea. Buying and selling NFT is a little different because it uses blockchain technology and the lens of Islamic economic law for the mechanism for selling NFT at Opensea. Looking at the pillars of sale and purchase, the actual NFT transaction process is not fulfilled, because the value or means of exchange (saman) contains gharar and dharar. . The results of the Ijtima Ulama Fatwa MUI decision stated that the use of cryptocurrency as legal currency is unlawful, because it contains gharar, dharar and contradicts Law Number 7 of 2011 and Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 17 of 2015 so it cannot be used as a transaction tool because in practice there are discrepancy with the pillars of the sale and purchase contract. However, it must be acknowledged that the world continues to develop and technology is increasingly sophisticated, it does not rule out the possibility that one day NFT will be legalized. To show that Islam is salihun likulli epoch wa likulli eat (suitable for all times and places), academic ijtihad must be carried out to answer contemporary muamlah problems in the era of globalization.
