Abstract

One of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic was the disruption in education, namely the problem of teaching and learning and time management. Thus, teachers and students must find solutions to be able to manage learning time management and the media used for learning, namely smartphones. This certainly can be a very effective choice during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aimed to describe the time management of student learning achievement, analyzing the relationship of learning time with student achievement, and analyzing the impact of smartphones on learning time and student achievement during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a reference research that data retrieval is oriented to several appropriate references. The focus of this research is how effective time management and smartphone usage is for learning in the Covid-19 pandemic. The validity of the data in this article is with various sources and time extensions. The data analysis technique in this article is to use the constant comparison method. The results of the research in this article are three.1) Describe time management (study time). 2) Analysis of the relationship of learning time with student achievement. 3) Analyzing the impact of smartphones in time management and student achievement during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Stress is a non-specific body response to any burden over it, stress is a physical reaction to the problems of life experienced. The purpose of this research is the implementation of a group counseling service with self-control technique to prevent stress facing national exam-based computer students of Grade XII SMA cooperative Pontianak. This method of research is action research, the form of research is the study of Action guidance and Counseling (PTBK). Data collector techniques used (1) direct communication techniques, and (2) indirect communication techniques. The data collector tools (1) Interview guide and (2) psychological scale. The research was conducted in class XII of Pontianak Cooperative High School with a total of 12 members, taking the subject of research purposive sampling from the results of the distribution of stress scales. Research results: Students ' stress attitudes in facing national computer-based exams with a percentage of 26.4%, the process of implementing group counseling with self- control techniques in preventing stress facing national computer-based exams covering the formation phase, switching stage, activity stage, and closing stage. Stress facing a national exam-based computer can be reduced using counseling group with self-control technique with a percentage of 17.9%.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the effect of competence, motivation, and creativity on teacher performance through job satisfaction. The population of this study was 117 high school teachers in Batam. The sample of this research is 117 samples, with census sampling technique. This research is a quantitative research with SEM analysis technique. The results of the study are: (1) Competence has a significant effect on job satisfaction. (2) Motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Creativity does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. (4) Competence, Motivation, and Creativity have a significant effect on job satisfaction. (5) Competence has no significant effect on teacher performance. (6) Motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance (7) Creativity does not have a significant effect on teacher performance. (8) Competence, Motivation, Creativity have no significant effect on teacher performance. (9) Job satisfaction does not have a significant effect on teacher performance. The novelty of this research is that creativity has no significant effect on job satisfaction, competence has no significant effect on teacher performance, creativity has no significant effect on teacher performance, competence, motivation, creativity has no significant effect on teacher performance, and job satisfaction has no significant effect on teacher performance. This is different from the research results of previous researchers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling techniques behavior contract to improve discipline arrive on time at school in class XII student of SMK N 1 Surakarta odd semester of 2014/2015 academic year.This research is a measure of guidance and counseling (PTBK). This study is conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects are  students of class XII SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta totaling three  students. Source of data derived from students. The data collection technique is by observation and interviews. The validity of the data using a triangulation method. Analyzed using percentages and clinical analysis.The results showed that through group counseling to reduce anxiety entering the work of students from pre-cycle to the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle, the average percentage change of 21.21%. The anxiety of students has decreased, although not significantly. In the second cycle, the average percentage change of54.33%, which means the results of the research has reached an indicator of success. The conclusions of this research is behavioral counseling with the contract effective technique to improve discipline arrive on time in class XII student of SMK Negeri 1Surakarta odd semester of 2014/2015 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) to describe the online game addiction managementplanning in KKPI learning at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong, (2) to describethe implementation of online game addiction management in KKPI learningat SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong, (3) to describe evaluation from the onlinegame addiction management at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Gemolong. The researchwas conducted with a kind of qualitative research with ethnographic approachdesign. With tkeknik data collection is in-depth interviews, documentation andobservation. Data analysis use an interactive analysis model. The results of thisstudy are; (1) online game addiction management planning with identification oflearners, searching for appropriate learning game reference, making lesson plansand evaluation instruments; (2) implementation of online game addiction in learningKKPI in accordance with the planning that has been made and implemented to adjustthe current situation; and (3) evaluation of online game addiction in KKPI learningdone during daily test, mid semester test and final semester test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dalam menggunakan huruf kapital melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas IIA SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan Kab. Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan nilai tes dan data hasil observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Peningkatan hasil belajar pada prasiklus menunjukkan ketuntasan sebesar (59%) 17 peserta didik kemudian meningkat pada siklus 1 menjadi (66%) 19 peserta didik dan (86%) 25 peserta didik pada siklus II. Dengan demikian penerapan project based learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik kelas II SDIT Izzatul Islam Getasan Kab. Semarang.

Abstract

This  research  surrounded  by  still  have  not  optimal  of domination  of matter Country  of  Protection  among  student  and  implementation   of  approach  of  mastery learning. This research aim to description  about optimalisation  of domination  of matter Country   protection   through   approach   of  mastery   learning   in  study  of  Education Citizenship  at class student IX C State Junior High School Two Cawas Region Klaten even semester of school year 2013/2014. Subject and research data source is 20 students. Data  collecting  method  applies  observation,  documentation,   and  test.  Data  analysis applies  critical  analysis  and  comparability.  Indicator  success  of  using  KKM  75  and complete target of class 100%. Research procedure applies cycle. Result of research and solution  it  is  by  know  that  data  obtained  from  finite  precycle  of  cycle  II,  obtained progress  of  achievement  of  student  learning  in  study  of  Education  Citizenship  with matter Country of Protection through approach of mastery learning, at precycle average of 72,1 and cycle I average of 73,9 and cycle II average of 86,2. From this data, seems to explain that happened increase of average of value from precycle to cycle I 1,8 numbers (2,5%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase 12,3 numbers (16,6%), from pasiklus to cycle II happened increase 14,1 numbers (19,6%). Highest value of phase precycle 80 and cycle  I 82 and cycle  II 96. Seems  to explain  that  from  phase  precycle  to cycle  I happened increase equal to 2 number (2,5%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase14  numbers  (17,1%),  and  from  precycle  to  cycle  II  happened  increase  16  numbers (20%).  Low value of phase precycle  is obtained  by 64 and cycle I 68 and cycle II 78. thereby, can be affirmed that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 4 number  (6,3%),  from  cycle  I to cycle  II happened  increase  10 numbers  (14,7%),  and from precycle  to cycle II happened  increase 14 numbers  (21,9%).  Complete  percentage learnt starts from precycle is obtained equal to 20% and cycle I is obtained equal to 30% and  cycle  II  equal  to  100%.  Seems  to  explain  that  from  phase  precycle  to  cycle  I happened increase equal to 10%, from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 70%, and from precycle to cycle II happened  increase equal to 80%. Thereby, achievement  of student learning in study of Education  Citizenship  with matter Country of Protection through approach of mastery learning from finite precycle of cycle II happened increase significant.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1).Mendeskripsikan pengadaan alat dan bahan praktikdi bengkel Teknik Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. (2). MendeskripsikanPenggunaan alat dan bahan praktik di bengkel Teknik Mekatronika SMK Negeri2 Sukoharjo. (3). Mendeskripsikan Pemeliharaan alat dan bahan praktik di bengkelTeknik Mekatronika SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKNegeri 2 Sukoharjo. Jenis penelitian yang adalah penelitian kualitatif denganpendekatan naturalistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain etnografi. Informan sebagainara sumber adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang sarana prasarana,kepala paket keahlian teknik mekatronika dan guru praktik teknik mekatronika. Datayang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian/display data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Pengujian keabsahan mengunakantriangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitaian ini adalah menunjukanbahwa pengadaan peralatan dan bahan secara bertahap dapat dipenuhi oleh sekolah.Pemerintah pusat memberikan bantuan dana, berupa dana dekonsentrasi yangdirealisasi melalui proposal dan verifikasi proposal. Penggunaan bengkel teknikmekatronika semata- mata untuk proses pembelajaran praktikum untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa. Program kegiatan dalam bengkel teknik mekatronika meliputi pengadaan, penggunaan dan pemeliharaan alat dan bahan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian ini untuk pengadaan peralatan bengkel teknik mekatronika sudah baik, perlu mengadakan teknisi pemeliharaan peralatan dan dirancang untuk diadakan perawatan periodik atau berkala. Demikian pula untuk inventarisasi peralatan dan bahan menunjukan hasil belum optimal dikarenakan belum adanya ruang untuk penyimpanan alat dan bahan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of planning, implementation, and follow-up of authentic assessments based on the 2013 curriculum in this school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data taken in this study are data on planning, implementation, and follow-up assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Sources of data from teachers and students in class II and class V as well as school principals. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The validity test used is Data Triangulation. The analysis technique used is the Flow Model of Analysis. The results of the study are that the teacher prepares a plan for assessing attitudes, knowledge and skills together with other teachers at one level. The assessment conducted by the teacher is in accordance with the planning and guidelines for assessing attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Followup by the teacher by analyzing, providing guidance, and reporting the results of the assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Reports of assessment results in the form of numbers, predicates and descriptions.

Abstract

Problems in communication may happen not only with foreign language learners (EFL) learners but also with EFL teachers. Those problems happen wherefore the teachers inadequate of communicative competence. When teachers face difficulties in finishing their communication, and they initiate to use such gesture, it means they use communicative strategies. This study is aimed to find out the types of Communication Strategies (CSs) used by the English teacher during the teaching process at the Aviation class and to describe CSs which are dominantly used by the English teacher. By implementing Celce-Murcia’s taxonomy, the data was classified into five strategies and eleven sub-strategies. A qualitative research was used as the method in this study and the data was collected by doing observation and video recording the teacher in Aviation Course, Central Java. The result showed that five strategies were used by the English teacher included eleven sub-type strategies that appeared during teaching process. Based on the result, Filler (32,8%) was the highest number of strategies used by the teacher. Meanwhile, the least number of strategies used was retrieval (0,9%) and clarification request (0,9%). Thus, by conducting this study, the teacher was expected to use the best strategies to solve the communication problems during teaching and learning process.
