Abstract

Pendisiplinan siswa di sekolah dilakukan agar siswa disiplin. Beberapa cara yang dilakukan guru untuk mendisiplinkan siswanya terkadang menimbulkan konflik dengan orang tua, yang salah satunya disebabkan karena tidak adanya kesepakatan yang jelas antara orang tua dan guru mengenai cara pendisiplinan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesepakatan antara orang tua dan guru tentang cara pendisiplinan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenografi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner terbuka dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Subjek dalam penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Cresswel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hal-hal terkait pendisiplinan yang belum disepakati antara orang tua dan guru meliputi perilaku-perilaku indisipliner siswa di sekolah dan cara pendisiplinannya serta proses untuk membangun kesepakatan tentang cara pendisiplinan siswa. Kesepakatan orang tua dan guru dibangun melalui tiga tahapan negosiasi yang dipengaruhi oleh efek kekuasaan guru, kesalahpahaman, dan sikap permisif orang tua.Katakunci:cara pendisiplinan; membangun kesepakatan; orang tua dan guru

Abstract

Abstrak. ‘Think globally, act locally,’ merupakan istilah yang kerap digunakan dalam isu pelestarian alam, dimana isu tersebut telah menjadi isu global dan pemberdayaan serta keterlibatan komunitas lokal dapat menjadi solusi dalam isu tersebut. Sunda Hejo merupakan salah satu organisasi di Garut yang bergerak dalam pelestarian alam dan pemberdayaan petani di sekitar perhutanan sosial. Sunda Hejo menyelenggarakan kegiatan Kopi Kids dalam rangka regenerasi individu yang dapat ikut bergerak dalam isu-isu komunitas lokal tersebut. Kopi Kids merupakan placed-based education dengan model pendidikan non-formal yang membuat Kopi Kids unik dan inklusif, serta berpotensi dalam menyelesaikan isu yang sedang dihadapi komunitas lokal. Kegiatan Kopi Kids menekankan pada kemampuan global serta pengetahuan lokal sehingga peserta Kopi Kids dapat bersaing di dunia luar tanpa melupakan identitas lokal mereka. Penelitian etnografis ini berfokus pada remaja di Kopi Kids, dimana pada usia tersebut remaja sedang mengeksplorasi dan mengembangkan identitasnya, serta ingin mengetahui bagaimana Kopi Kids sebagai placed-based education yang menyasar isu global pada komunitas lokal dan penguatan identitas lokal tersebut terjadi pada remaja saat para remaja terpapar dengan tren global. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, saat ini Kopi Kids cenderung berada pada spektrum ‘act globally, think locally,’ dimana perilaku mereka lebih condong pada tren global tetapi cara berpikirmereka sangat kuat dengan nilai-nilai lokal, walau terdapat konotasi negatif di dalamnya. Jika kegiatan Kopi Kids sudah efektif dalam pencapaian tujuan kegiatannya, kemampuan global dan lokal akan mendukung satu sama lain sehingga dapat terwujud harapan Sunda Hejo untuk menghasilkangenerasi yang berpihak pada komunitas dan isu lingkungan di sekitar. Katakunci: etnografi; isu sustainability; placed-based education; remaja

Abstract

      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir pada siswa SMA, serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir antara siswa SMA negeri dan swasta. Variabel tergantung pada penelitian ini adalah kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir dan variabel bebas efikasi diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Analisa dilakukan kepada 193 siswa SMA N dan S yang ada di Semarang. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu skala kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir dan skala efikasi diri. Skala kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir berjumlah 38 aitem memiliki rentang daya beda 0,380-0,768 dengan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,960. Skala efikasi diri berjumlah 29 aitem memiliki rentang daya beda 0,399-0,614 dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,911. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi Product moment dari Pearson dan metode komparasi dengan analisis data Independent-Samples T Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisa Product Moment diperoleh nilai rxy sebesar -0,528 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p 0,01). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir dengan efikasi diri pada siswa SMA. Hasil analisis statistik independent-samples t test menunjukkan F=1,496 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,319 (p 0,01) dengan nilai rata-rata siswa SMA negeri 66,14 lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata siswa SMA swasta 62,44. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan pada kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir antara siswa SMA negeri dan swasta.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and explain the dynamics of the striving force namely, the supporting and inhibiting factors of high achieving students striving force with necessitous condition. The informant characteristics of this study are high achieving students with necessitous condition (students who are needy with the broken home family and experiencing violence from their family) who attend junior and senior high school and college students. There are 3 informants and 9 informants complementary, with interview method. The results of this study are; 1) Informants control economic difficulties with frugal behavior and concerned attitudes. Good self-regulation in controlling difficult situations so as not to widen and influence the educational dimension. Resilience behavior is more appear in informants of victims of broken homes and survivors of domestic violence. Gratitude makes the informant more eager to rise from adversity to achieve a better life, accompanied by strong motivation and relational efficacy between mother and informant. 2) Supporting factor is derived from internal factors such as the competitiveness, coping behavior and the ability of improvement (resilience), visionary and strong internal motivation, self-awareness and the ability to think positively with gratitude. While external factors mostly come from social support of family, other students and community. 3) Inhibiting factors namely are the problem of emotion-regulation such as less stable emotional state, poverty, dysfunction of family’s role and the problem of fatherless families. It is concluded that a compensation made by the informant with self-regulation, gratitude in increasing resilience and the relational efficacy of family members in strengthening the struggle for achievement

Abstract

Kebahagiaan guru SLB ialah suatu kondisi psikologiss yang mampu memberikan kedamaian, rasa bahagia, memahami makna dan tujuan serta kesejahteraan hidup dalam menjalankan peran sebagai guru SLB. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh pemahaman mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai gambaran kebahagiaan guru SLB. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Partisipan sebanyak empat orang dengan kriteria yaitu guru tetap di SLB-C YPSLB. Wawancara dan observasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebahagiaan guru SLB selama mengajar diperoleh dari pikiran positif, emosi positif, dan kepuasan.Kebahagiaan guru SLB dipengaruhi oleh relasi sosial, religiusitas, dan pendapatan. Abstract

Healing mental and behavioral disorders can be done with a variety of approaches, one of which is a religious approach. It was carried out at the inabah in Sirnarasa. This study aims to uncover the therapeutic principles contained in religious therapies to cure mental and behavioral disorders, such as addiction and avoidance behavior. The approach used is qualitative, while the research method is case study. Data was collected by interviewing the person in charge of religious therapy in Sirabah Village and two students who had recovered. In addition, it also uses documentation of therapy manuals. The result, inabah therapy which includes various kinds of prayers, repentance bathing, and remembrance contains several therapeutic principles, namely water therapy; catharsis; increased awareness of self orientation, time and place; changing irrational beliefs into rational; unconditional positive regard. In addition, therapy in Inabah also includes psychoeducation encouragement to the community and parents of students about the importance of parenting, giving examples, and environmental modification.Keywords:healing; inabah therapy; religious approach; therapeutic principles.healing; inabah therapy; religious approach; therapeutic principles

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was determine the effect of Autonomy training on student of “X” junior high school in Bandung. The Sample of this study was 20 students who were classified as having low student engagement degrees were choosen used purposive sampling method. The Student Engagement instrument (SEI) adapted from theory J. Appleton, S. Christenson, D. Kim, dan A. Reschly (2017)is self-repot measure of cognitive and affective. Criterion Validity of this Instrument is 0.302- 0.877 and reliability is 0.747. Behavioral Engagement instrument adapted from theory J. Appleton, S. Christenson, D. Kim, dan A. Reschly (2017), with criterion validity is 0.317- 0.605 only for this research. The result showed there was an increase in the level of student engagement before and after training, statistical test show Asymp Sig 0.05 (N=-3.923) indicates the Hi is accepted, there is a difference in student engagement through autonomy training on student. The suggestion of this research is that student are expected to able to apply this training activity to daily life such as the method of making plans, goal and effort before the beginning of the school semester, So that they can be regular to make targets by themeselves and achieve them.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on various studies, cigarettes are harmful to the health of both active and passive smokers. That is the reason The Fatwa and Islamic Research Council, The Central Board of Muhammadiyah forbidding smoking behavior (haram). Nevertheless, many muslim students at University smoke. Thepurpose of this study is to descibe smoking behavior of Muslim students in Surakarta. The informants are active smokers (n=119) determined by purposive sampling. This study uses qualitative research methods with an exploration approach. The result shows that the students initiate their smoking behavior sincejunior high school. The internal factors that affect smoking behavior are the need for pleasure, existence, acceptance of social environment and stress coping. The external factors consist of social and family environment that have smoking habit. Smoking behavior continues because students tend to consider short-term benefits (psychological and social) rather than the long term health risks. The active smokerstudents do not identify themselves as part of the Muhammadiyah community therefore they do not concern about the Fatwa issued by The Central Board of Muhammadiyah. Most students want to quit smoking for two reasons: the encouragement of the closest people who object to smoking behavior andfeeling a deterioration in health.Keywords: muslim; smoking behavior; university student

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman perempuan Wambon yangmembentuk ketangguhan (hardiness) saat pengasingan ketika melahirkan di Bevak dan dan masa nifas di tempat pengasingan (Dogap). Sebuah fenomena yang terkait erat dengan adat istiadat dan penghargaan budaya, yang diwariskan secara turun temurun. Unit analisis adalah empat subjek yang terdiri atas satu perempuan primipara, satu perempuan multipara dan dua perempuan grandemulitipara. Metodekualitatif digunakan dengan pendekatan interpretative phenomenological analysis dan indigenous psychology digunakan untuk menganalisis kedalaman konkes maupun konten pengalaman fenomenal tersebut. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan live in. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami tekanan psikologis dalam upayapersalinan dan pada saat pengasingan. Namun demikian, subjek memaknai pengalaman pengasingan sebagai pengalaman yang positif dan menjadi semakin tangguh (hardiness) dalam menjalani tradisi tersebut. Nilai-nilai spiritual dan budaya lokal yang diwariskan turun-temurun ditemukan berkontribusi bagi subjek di dalam mengatasi beban psikologis di dalam pengasingan sehingga terbentuk sikap yangtangguh (hardiness). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects between self-esteem and self-consciousness towards online self-presentation of adolescents who used social media. This is a quantitative correlational approach study that collecting data using three scales which are Presentation of Online Self Scale (POSS), State Self-Esteem Scale (SSES) and Self-consciousness Scale (SCS-R). The subjects of this study were 153 adolescents in senior high school in Lamongan. This place is chosen based on survey that shows all the student is using media social. That survey is also says that most of them doing online self presentation such as editing photo or make an quote before upload something in their social media. Data in this study is being collected using cluster sampling technique and  analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that self-esteem had negative effects towards online self-presentation of adolescent. Meanwhile, self-consciousness had no effects towards online self-presentation of adolescent. The final result indicated that self-esteem and self-consciousness had simultaneous effects toward online self-presentation of adolescent about 12,2%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara self-esteem dan self-consciousness terhadap self-presentation remaja pengguna media sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa Presentation of Online Self Scale (POSS), State Self-Esteem Scale (SSES) dan skala Self-consciousness Scale (SCS-R). Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Lamongan dengan subjek berjumlah 153 orang. Tempat ini dipilih berdasarkan survey yang menunjukan bahwa semua siswa menggunakan media sosial. Survey juga menunjukan bahwa siswa melakukan teknik presentasi diri di media sosial seperti editing foto atau mempersiapkan kutipan kata sebelum mengupload sesuatu di sosial media. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan data cluster sampling dan data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi ganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan yang bersifat negatif antara self-esteem dengan self-presentation remaja pengguna media sosial. Sementara itu, pada self-consciousness dengan self-presentation tidak terdapat pengaruh siginifikan. Di sisi lain, secara bersama-sama self-esteem dan self-consciousness berpengaruh signifikan dengan self-presentation remaja pengguna media sosial. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan self-esteem dan self-consciousness secara bersama-sama dengan self-presentation adalah sebesar 12,2% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
