Merupakan jurnal yang dikelola oleh program studi teknik informatika Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU), jurnal ini membahas ilmu dibidang Informatika dan Teknologi jaringan, sebagai wadah untuk menuangkan hasil penelitian baik secara konseptual maupun teknis yang berkaitan dengan ilmu informatika. InfoTekjar terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan maret dan september, terbitan pertama bulan september 2016. Artikel yang masuk akan diterima oleh editor untuk kemudian diteruskan ke editor bagian dan diteruskan lagi ke reviewer untuk di review artikel nya. Waktu review maksimal dilakukan selama 4 minggu.

The growth of Internet users and services such as video streaming and big data application make particular problems in the core network such as the depletion of IPv4 allocation, delay, and jitter. MPLS as technology in the core network is used for anticipating delay problems due to data traffic improvement on the Internet. To anticipate the growth of Internet users and the depletion of IPv4 allocation as an address to access the network, it needs the new version of IP that is IPv6 with a bigger amount of address allocation. The incorporation of those addressing mechanisms in the core network needs a particular method to exchange data between devices. This research compares two translation methods between 6PE and 6VPE in the MPLS-VPN network. The result of measurement of throughput shows that the use of the 6VPE method provides better efficiency of network used 15% than 6PE in the data rate of 2000 Kbps. The experiment is done by comparing the two methods in the MPLS-VPN network with only using the IPv4 addressing mechanism where the service used is video streaming.

Based on the results of interviews with shop owners, shop owners confirmed that the Newplus Store still uses a manual cash register system and shop owners also agreed to make a portable Android cashier application with the hope that there will be no errors in transactions, buyers don't have to queue too long, shop owners in recapitulating transactions It's easier and the cashier doesn't have to bother writing receipts on the note so there's less chance of loss to the shop or buyer. Furthermore, the flow of this research uses the waterfall. The purpose of this study is to produce an Android-based portable cashier application that can assist in the recapitulation of sales transaction data for Newplus Store owners. The feature of printing customer receipts is also added to this application. The conclusion of this study is the achievement of making a portable android cashier application accompanied by tests carried out on 1 shop owner and 3 employees. By using the Likert scale method to get an average value of 80.9%, this concludes that the Android portable cashier application can already run well and can be used so that it can solve problems in transactions and can recapitulate sales and produce receipt printing for customers.

Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem informasi adalah untuk membantu manusia dalam banyak hal, termasuk pengolahan data serta penyampaian informasi, hal ini akan lebih baik jika menggunakan sistem informasi berbasis online. Sistem informasi tugas akhir menjadi pilihan penulis dikarenakan masih belum adanya sistem informasi tugas akhir yang bersifat online pada AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa masalah seperti lambatnya penyampaian informasi, mahasiswa/i harus memberikan formulir pengajuan judul ke kampus dan lain sebagainya. Sistem ini menyediakan solusi bagi mahasiswa/i dalam proses merancang tugas akhir. Sistem ini meliputi pengajuan judul, pengumuman, judul diterima atau ditolak, informasi pembimbing dan lainnya. Penulis mencoba membangun sistem ini dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Database MySQL agar dapat di realisasikan secara online. Dengan adanya sistem ini maka akan membantu mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan prosedur tugas akhir dengan mudah karena dapat diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun.

Sebuah sistem operasi yang dapat di pindah-pindahkan atau dengan kata lain portabel yaitu sebuah sistem operasi yang di simpan di media penyimpanan seperti flasdiks. Cukup dengan menancapkan flashdisk di PC/Laptop lalu melakukan setting bios untuk usb-boot priority, jadilah komputer tersebut dengan “sistem operasi pribadi” yang siap digunakan untuk berbagai keperluan. Berbeda halnya dengan sistem operasi tertanam (embedded system) adalah tujuan khusus sistem komputer yang didesain untuk melakukan satu atau lebih fungsi tertentu, yang bergantung pada komputasi real-time. Biasanya embedded system merupakan bagian peralatan yang lengkap termasuk hardware dan bagian mekanik. Jelasnya, computer untuk tujuan umum, seperti personal computer (PC), dapat melakukan tugas yang berbeda tergantung dari program yang tersedia. Embedded system dapat mengatur lebih banyak peralatan yang biasa dipakai saat ini.

The problem of manual trash cans causes a lack of hygiene for users and scattered garbage due to the volume of garbage bins that have accumulated. Paper and tissue waste is the dominant waste in the campus area and is highly flammable. Due to the lack of manual trash cans, innovation ideas were obtained to make automatic room trash cans and can monitor waste capacity and detect smoke using smartphone applications as the application of the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT-based smart trash can uses the NodeMCU 8266 as its main control and ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance of the garbage capacity and the distance of the object. Servo motor as a drive for the garbage lid automatically. MQ-2 smoke sensor as a smoke marker, a warning sound through the Buzzer and also the Wifi ESP 8266 module so that it can send notifications via the internet network. Trash cans can be monitored using the Blynk application. The results obtained in this study are that the trash can cover will automatically open when the object is 10cm to 1cm from the trash can. The results of the sensor detection of the full capacity level of the waste are when the garbage is 5cm to 1cm from the sensor. Furthermore, the results of the detection of the MQ-2 sensor, when the smoke capacity exceeds 325ppm, the buzzer will turn on and the system sends a notification message using a Blynk to the cleaning staff's smartphone.

Pengiriman atau pertukaran data adalah hal yang sering terjadi dalam dunia teknologi informasi. Apalagi pengiriman data dilakukan melalui layanan komunikasi dunia maya, ancaman kejahatan sangat banyak terjadi didalamnya. Untuk menjaga keamanan data, dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kriptografi.Banyak algoritma kriptografi yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengamankan pesan, tetapi kekuatan dari keamanan pesan tersebut masih lemah. Peningkatan keamanan pesan dan kunci dilakukan dengan algoritma hybrid. Metode hybrid dilakukan dengan mengkombinasikan algoritma simetri AES dengan OTP dengan algoritma ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptograpy) yaitu ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman). Algoritma AES dan OTP digunakan untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi pesan sedangkan ECDH digunakan untuk menentukan dan pertukaran kunci nya sehingga akan semakin meningkatkan keamanan dari pesan.

Sangatlah menjengkelkan pada saat-saat penting laptop kita bermasalah tiba-tiba mati tidak bisa di hidupkan, padahal tugas kuliah atau pekerjaan kantor sudah menumpuk dan harus secepatnya selesai, untuk masalah ini tidak perlu terlalu panik, yang di butuhkan disini kita harus perlu tenang dan berpikir jernih dan mulai menganalisa, Hal yang perlu dilakukan pertama sekali adalah membuka batere laptop dan pasang kembali, mengukur adaptor tegangan 19 volt pada jarum adaptor. Membuka casing dan memperhatikan apakah ada yang terbakar, mengukur pin-pin penting setiap laptop dan membersihkan part-part dari debu menggunakan tiner. Langkah tersebut merupakan satu teknik perbaikan laptop mati total, Sangatlah menyenangkan laptop yang mati bisa beroperasi lagi.

The development of Information Technology has become increasingly rapid. Many agencies or companies that have used information systems for operational processes that manually become an automated and integrated system. One of which is a parking system. In Indonesia there are still many vehicle day care stations that use a parking system manually. This makes the parking attendant unfamiliar with the price set and the lengths of time parked the vehicle and make it difficult in the process of calculating the report of parked vehicles. For this reason, an integrated parking system is needed so that it can be applied to manual vehicle storage. So in making the parking system uses the concept of programming. The concept of the program to be used is the concept of Object Oriented Programming with the Java programming language and the editor uses Netbeans 8.2 to run the program. The method in conducting this research is to use 2 methods, namely the method for collecting data with the description method and the method for developing a waterfall system. With the parking system will provide convenience for parking users and also make efficient parking attendant performance. So expect speed, and accuracy in collecting vehicle parking at a vehicle storage in Indonesia.

Cryptography is the science or art to maintain the security of messages that include the security aspects such as confidentiality, data integrity and authentication. One method that is able to encrypt messages Affine Ciphers modified. Plaintext encrypted with Affine Cipher using the equation E (P) = (ax + b) mod m, where m is the size of the alphabet, a is an integer relatively prime to m, b is the number of shifts, x is the plaintext is converted to an integer of 0 to m-1 in accordance with the order of the alphabet, E (P) is ciphertext that is converted to an integer of 0 to m-1 in accordance with the order of the alphabet. Affine Ciphers ciphertext is decrypted by using the equation D(E(P))=a-1(E(P)-b) mod m in order to obtain the plaintext.

The continuous development of technology makes everything sophisticated and easy, such as attendance that can be accessed online. In this study, an online office employee attendance system was designed on an HTML and CSS-based website, where on this website there is a time and map that can show the whereabouts of employees and what time they are absent so that it is expected to prevent fraudulent attendance such as entrusting attendance. The purpose of this study is to help the office with attendance problems so that the office can easily control all employees in terms of attendance and all incoming data will be neatly arranged so that the data will be easy to summarize. This study uses a method of collecting data from observation as well as designing and building. So that with the observation method used, it can be used to find out and obtain data that will be used in the design and building stage of this website. This website itself is designed using the HTML programming language as the initial stage of the website page framework and uses the CSS programming language to make the layout of the website more attractive.
