Abstract

              Road as a transportation system has an important role in Indonesia compared to other modes of transportation such as air and sea transportation. As road is found to be important, this condition must be maintained to keep it in a good condition. In fact, road damage still occurs that it can bother the road users and disrupt the pace of the economic activities of the community. Therefore, a research is needed to get to know factors that cause damages to the road segments of Pemalang - Tegal. This research belongs to descriptive research conducted by previously testing the validity and reliability of the research approach. It is done by looking for factors that cause damages to rigid pavement roads in terms of implementation, and factors causing the type of dominant damage and how to handle it.This resarch was conducted to 70 respondents using a questionnaires previously tested for validity and reliability. Data were obtained from the questionnaires filled by the respondents and then statistically processed through SPSS and AHP method. The results show that one of the causes of rigid pavement road damage viewed from implementation was the poor material processing system. Abstract

ABSTRACTLocal traditional mining in the Bodri River Kendal regency increasingly concerned, this is of course if left unchecked will damage the river body, river channel, causing landslides, can even disrupt the stability of water buildings such as weirs and bridges. The purpose of this research is as an effort to Determine Non-Metal and Rock Mineral Mining Zonation Based on the Inflow and Outflow of Sediment in Bodri River of Kendal Regency, to obtain the areas which are allowed to be mined and the mining volume. This research is descriptive qualitative by doing direct observation, interview and documentation. Descriptive method is a method used to examine the status of human groups, an object, a condition and a system of thought and events that will occur. The purpose of this study is to create an explorative, systematics, factual and accurate facts on the specific case. The research results are sediment inflow to  the Bodri river is 103.327,40 ton/year, whereas the outflow is 379.459.46 ton/year, which mean the river morphology has serious problem caused by the mining activity. Keywords: Zoning, Mining, Non-Metal Material and Rocks, Sediment

Abstract

ABSTRACTPopulation and economic growth in Central Java Province continues to increase. One of the segments from the highway of Semarang-Solo is Banyudono-Kartosuro, this segment is one of the main segments that links Semarang and Solo, so stacking of vehicle volume in this region often happens. With this background, this study is entitled Feasibility Study of Traffic and Economy in Banyudono-Kartasura Highway.Analyzing the traffic aspect requires several parameters by estimating the volume of the vehicle or weather forecast, the degree of saturation and also the trip assignment value. In addition, for the economic aspects in terms of road users by calculating the value of Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Net Present Value (NPV), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Based on the forecast results obtained an outcome that in the year of 2027 for Boyolali-Kartosuro segment will experience congestion and after the built of highway, congestion will decrease in 2038, for Salatiga-Boyolali segment congestion will occurred in 2029 and after the built of highway congestion occurred in 2040. For the calculation of feasibility of economic analysis value obtained BCR = 4.3> 1, NPV = Rp 3,409,646,232,099> 0, and IRR = 12.26> 4.48%.  Keywords: Traffic feasibility, Economic growth, Banyudono-Kartosuro Highway

Abstract

AbstractTourism is an industry that utilizes tourism potential that can provide community welfare, regional progress, improvement of the national economy and local economy by empowering the community. The need for good management so that tourism has a positive impact on society, but if not managed properly it will have a negative impact. This study uses a literature study that explains the impact of tourism development on society regarding land changes based on environmental and socio-economic aspects. Abstract

AbstractTerminal is one of the most important facility in transportation. As a start and finish site, terminal have to ensure to provide optimal services. Optimal services have to supported by adequate facilities, so that it can realize integrated transportation. The puropose of this study is to identify the facility needed for supporting passengers activity when start and finish their journey in terminal. The research methodology used is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Technique of collecting data used are observation and literature review. The result of the research, identify based on passenger movement from and to Leuwipanjang Terminal, needed any facility namely:1) pedestrian bridge and adequate pedestrian ways which is free from barrier 2) parking facility and drop zone area to avoid congestion in the area around the terminal.  Key word: Passenger Terminal, Passenger Terminal Facilities, Terminal Leuwipanjang  Abstrak Terminal merupakan salah satu sarana terpenting dalam transportasi. Sebagai tempat memulai dan mengakhiri perjalanan, terminal harus dipastikan dapat memberikan pelayanan secara optimal. Pelayanan yang optimal harus didukung oleh fasilitas yang memadai, sehingga dapat mewujudkan transportasi yang terintegrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi fasilitas yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung aktivitas penumpang saat memulai dan mengakhir perjalanan di terminal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan literatur review. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, teridentifikasi bahwa berdasarkan pergerakan penumpang dari dan menuju terminal Leuwipanjang, dibutuhkan beberapa fasilitas yakni: 1) jembatan penyeberangan dan jalur pejalan kaki yang memadai serta bebas dari hambatan. Disamping itu dibutuhkan 2) fasilitas parkir dan area menurunkan penumpang untuk menghindari kemacetan di area sekitar terminal. Kata kunci: Terminal Penumpang, Kebutuhan Fasilitas Terminal Penumpang, Terminal Leuwipanjang

Abstract

AbstractWaste becomes one of the crucial problems, even including cultural problems, because the impact will disrupt all aspects of life. Most landfills are operated using an open dumping system even though the landfill is designed with a sanitary landfill system. Therefore proper handling is needed to reduce the risks associated with waste problems. One of the waste handlings that can be done is with a sustainable waste management system, which is the concept of zero waste. This is in line with the efforts of the SDGs' target to state that the country as a whole can reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a technical approach to the analysis of literature studies in examining zero waste-based waste management systems through several case studies, namely the City of Canberra, South Korea, Sweden, Brazil, Japan, and Germany. The results showed that implementing the waste management system with the concept of zero waste required the collaboration of all parties not only stakeholders, and indirectly the cultural characteristics of the community played an important role to realize the concept of zero waste because of the need for high public awareness. And essentially all parties, both the government and the community want to reduce the amount of waste from both sources and landfills and improve the recycling system to create an ideal city. Keywords: Municipal Waste, Waste Management, Zero Waste AbstrakSampah menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang krusial bahkan termasuk masalah kultural karena dampak yang ditimbulkan akan mengganggu semua aspek kehidupan. Sebagian besar tempat pembuangan sampah dioperasikan dengan menggunakan sistem open dumping walaupun TPA tersebut didesain dengan sistem sanitary landfill. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan penanganan yang tepat untuk mengurangi resiko terkait masalah sampah. Salah satu penanganan sampah yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan sistem pengolahan sampah berkelanjutan yaitu konsep zero waste. Hal ini sejalan dengan upaya target SDGs menyatakan bahwa negara secara menyeluruh mampu mengurangi timbulan sampah melalui pencegahan, pengurangan, daur ulang, dan pemakaian kembali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan teknis analisis studi literatur dalam mengkaji sistem pengelolaan sampah berbasis zero waste melalui beberapa studi kasus yaitu Kota Canberra, Korea Selatan, Swedia, Brasil, Jepang, dan Jerman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk menerapkan sistem pegelolaan sampah dengan konsep zero waste diperlukan kerjasama semua pihak tidak hanya pemangku kepentingan, dan secara tidak langsung komitmen masyarakat berperan penting untuk mewujudkan konsep zero waste karena perlunya kesadaran masyarakat yang tinggi. Dan pada hakekatnya semua pihak baik pemerintah dan masyarakat menginginkan untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah baik dari sumber maupun TPA dan meningkatkan sistem daur ulang untuk mewujudkan kota yang ideal.Kata Kunci : Sampah Kota, Pengelolaan Sampah, Zero Waste

Abstract

Jendral Sudirman road is one of the streets in Batang Regency which has function as primary artery and it has main access to connect vital locations. It makes Jendral Sudirman road has several transportation problems. In the planning, design and establishment of various transportation system policies, traffic flow theory of movement has very important role. To facilitate the application of traffic flow theory of movement used a mathematical approach which was used to analyze the phenomenon that took place in the traffic flow. One of approach ways to comprehend the traffic behavior was by verifying it into mathematical and graphics relationships with observing to the relationship among the speed (S), density (D) and volume (V) traffic.The objective of this study was to determine traffic flow characteristics on Jendral Sudirman Road consisting of three (3) main parameters such as volume, speed and density by using mathematical models included Greenshield, Greenberg and Underwood Model. In addition, this study also aimed to determine the results of a comparison of one of the chosen model with the road capacity calculation based on MKJI 1997.Based on the data analysis  by using Greenshield model, it was known that the characteristics of the traffic on Jendral Sudirman road values obtained free flow speed (Sf)= 45.53 km/h, density jam (Dj)= 38.31 unit/km and maximum volume or road capacity(Vmax)= 1774.25 unit/hour. The estimation result of model was calculated using Greenshield model and estimation capacity calculations of MKJI 1997 had a difference about 15.49%. This could be evidence that generalize the use of manual book as MKJI 1997 in estimating the value of a certain road location capacity without researching driver behavior, vehicle characteristics and the environment of the road would be at risk in the capacity estimation results obtained. Therefore, the use of existing guidelines such as the 1997 MKJI needs carefulness in assessing the environmental condition of the road and traffic characteristics.Keywords : TrafficCharacteristic, Volume, Speed, Density, Greenshield, Greenberg, Underwood

Abstract

ABSTRACT             Floating house is a building, which stands or floats on water by relying itself on the weight and the area sunk as the load parameter compatible to the structure. This house can float or be placed on the seashore on the water. This research was conducted by comparing the magnitude of the floating force (Fa) of the three foundation materials of the houses, namely plastic drum, Styrofoam and bamboo. The materials were calculated based on the total load of the house (G), with the safety number of 1.5.  .The research result is the total load of the floating house structure (G) is 364.585,5 Newton (down), the floating force (Fa) magnitude of plastic drum as the foundation material is 549,814 Newton (upward), Styrofoam as the foundation material is 552,720 Newton (upward), and Bamboo as the foundation material is 540,883  Newton (upward). The amounts of the foundation materials for plastic drum are 232 pieces, for Styrofoam are 56 sheets, and for bamboo are 3900 sticks.  Keywords: Floating house, floating foundation, floating force, plastic drum, Styrofoam,                 bamboo

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to examine the efficiency of Brigjend Soediarto fly over development towards the traffic jam in Pedurungan intersection. The approach conducted in this research is quantitative paradigm, with the quantitative method in the process of analysis. According to the analysis, the recent condition indicates high traffic flows density in each intersection. The level of service (LOS) in Brigjend Soediarto road is 1,421 in the F level. It is predicted that after the development of fly over, the level of service increasse into C with LOS = 0.579. Meanwhile, the LOS in Soekarno-Hatta road is 0.854 with the D level, and increases into B level with LOS = 0.226. While LOS Fatmawati road is 0.856 with the D level and increases into B with LOS=0.284. Before the development, the vehicle speed in Pedurungan intersection was 5.914 km/hour. After the development is is predicted that the vehice speed will be 49.885 km/hour. So that the average speed is 43.97 km/hour. Based on those analysis, the efficiency of the development of Brigjend Soediarto fly over is 76.28%. It can be concluded by the development of Brigjend Soediarto fly over, it is efficiently increasing the flow of traffic in Pedurungan intersection. Keywords : Brigjend Soediarto Fly Over, Pedurungan Intersection, Traffic Delay

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Corridor Street dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo with an area of 0.425 km2 or 3% of the total area of Pontianak City District, Sungai Jawi Village. Street Dr. Corridor Wahidin Sudirohusodo in the RTRW of Pontianak City in 2013-2033 which is 95% of the allocation for residential areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence changes in the use of residential land for commercial purposes in the corridor of Street dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo. This study uses a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and descriptive statistical analysis techniques using cross tabulation and chi square. The results showed that the corridor of Street dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo can conclude that from 2015 to 2021 the development of trade and services increased by 4.89 Ha or 28.5% of the total study area and settlements decreased by 3.07 Ha or 17.9% of the total study area. The results of crosstab and chi square analysis, the factors that influence changes in residential land use for commercial purposes, namely aspects of land ownership for education level, occupation, length of stay, and land ownership status have a relationship, for aspects of accessibility and completeness of public utilities the variable is fixed value. because the community feels satisfied and this is a very supportive factor for the community to open a business, and for the fiscal aspect of land there is a relationship. Keywords : Trade and services, land use change. ABSTRAKKoridor Jalan dr. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perubahan pemanfaatan lahan perumahan untuk tujuan komersial di  koridor Jalan dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif menggunakan tabulasi silang dan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koridor Jalan dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari tahun 2015 sampai ke tahun 2021 perkembangan perdagangan dan jasa naik sebesar 4,89 Ha atau 28,5% dari total wilayah kajian dan permukiman menyusut sebesar 3,07 Ha atau 17,9% dari total wilayah kajian. Hasil analisa crosstab dan chi square, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perubahan pemanfaatan lahan perumahan untuk tujuan komersial yaitu aspek kepemilikan lahan untuk tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, lama tinggal, dan status kepemilikan lahan memiliki keterkaitan hubungan, untuk aspek aksesibilitas dan kelengkapan utilitas umum variabel bernilai tetap dikarenakan masyarakat merasa sudah puas dan ini menjadi faktor yang sangat mendudukung masyarakat membuka usaha, dan untuk aspek fiskal lahan memiliki keterkaitan hubungan.Kata kunci :  Perdagangan dan jasa, perubahan pemanfaatan lahan.
