Abstract

The paper has examines what is considered dual contributions of the internet based medium of communication in Da’wah. These platforms for social interaction and communication have become medium of spreading Islamic messages by Islamic scholars. The objective of the paper is to analyze how internet related mane of communications and interaction have aided Da’wah. The researchers adopted an explanatory type of research whose aim is to explain a phenomenon of choice.  The researchers sourced data from the secondary sources and analyzed them. It is on the basis of such that, the findings of this research have portrayed that social media as medium of social interaction have been adopted as tools for Da’wah which learned Islamic scholars are using to propagate Islam and its teachings. However, the outcomes confirmed that social media have provided a fruitful ground for the germination of cyber space Islamic scholars, people who are not learned but share texts, video and audio containing distorted and misleading information. This has challenged the age long Islamic practice in Islam where any issues regarding Islamic Da’wah and Fatwa are exclusively for the learned Islamic Scholars. The study in addition reveal that what is obtainable on the social media now is, cyber scholars and quick to post or comment on issues that are exclusive the purview of Islamic scholars.

Abstract

This article discusses the ability to speak (communicate) respondents from South Thailand at UIN Walisongo Semarang. The communication ability of the respondents is measured using the Indonesian language indicator (Bahasa) namely the ability to speak. Respondents aged between 20 to 28 years. Respondents numbered 37 people from the force 2012 to 2016. The 37 respondents consisted of 25 female students and 12 students. The original language of the respondents is Malay. The second language controlled by respondents is Thai. Respondents have not had enough Language skills before they arrive in Indonesia. The data collection in this article uses questionnaires. The results obtained from this research is the ability to communicate respondents using Language is in the category of being. This category uses a standard five interval that is very high, high, medium, low and very low. The mean or average of respondent data is at number 28. The number is between 26 - 29 which refers to the medium category. Keywords: communicate, language, south thailand students-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Artikel ini membahas mengenai kemampuan berbicara (berkomunikasi) responden yang berasal dari Thailand Selatan di UIN Walisongo Semarang. Kemampuan komunikasi responden diukur menggunakan indikator bahasa Indonesia (Bahasa) yaitu kemampuan berbicara. Responden berusia antara 20 hingga 28 tahun. Responden berjumlah 37 orang yang berasal dari angkatan 2012 hingga 2016. Ke 37 responden terdiri dari 25 mahasiswi dan 12 mahasiswa. Bahasa asli dari responden adalah bahasa Melayu. Bahasa kedua yang dikuasai responden adalah bahasa Thailand. Responden belum cukup mempunyai bekal kemampuan Bahasa sebelum tiba di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data pada artikel ini menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berkomunikasi responden menggunakan Bahasa berada pada kategori sedang. Kategori ini menggunakan interval standar lima yaitu sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang, rendah dan sangat rendah. Mean atau rata-rata data responden berada pada angka 28. Angka tersebut berada di antara angka 26 – 29 yang menunjuk pada kategori sedang.Kata kunci : berkomunikasi, bahasa, mahasiswa thailand selatan

Abstract

Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information stated in 2017 that it had blocked 800 thousand harmful contents, including hoax (fake news). However, Masyarakat Telematika (Mastel) Indonesia reported the results of a survey in 2019 that there were 34.60% of respondents received hoax every day. Hoaxes will have implications for harmony in society and are even very vulnerable to riots. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review design that study the analogy between hadith and posts of Internet users that are both news or information. Hadith is information from the Prophet p.b.u.h., while posting is information that comes from Internet users. Based on this it is important to see the scholars of hadith in conveying, accepting the hadith, and including it in their respective books. To find out whether or not a hadith is correct, rawi examines sanad and matan hadith. In the hadith science, the study of the hadith discussed in the science of rijalul hadith. In rijalul, this post will be examined on how to explore the content of the Internet media. Of course, this is in accordance with the indicators (adl, dhabit, ittishal al-sanad, bighayr illat, and bighayr syadz) in the science of rijalul hadith, and the perspective of Al-Quran will be examined. Rijalul Posting is divided into two; al-urwah date account (how to clarify posts by looking at the identity and account history) and al-jarh wa ta'dil content account (how to clarify posts). Indicators used: fair information, date of posting, clear source, complete, and polite language. Thus, these posts can be shared on websites or social media.

Abstract

Public interest on television made media industry competing for the attention of viewer, such as infotainment shows. In practice infotainment shows a lot of controversy. But in Ramadhan,  usually  media  television  expressly  competing  to produce  and  publish religious  programs.  This  study  aims to describe how Insert Siang  infotainment program in Trans TV Ramadhan 1437 H edition in term of Islamic Comunication Ethic. In this case refers to the theory of Jalaluddin Rakhmat about the ethics of Islamic. By using content analysis, the result show that: not all information in Insert Siang are good content. 82% infotainment that exposed in Ramadhan shows that news served with Islamic Communication ethic. According to Jalaluddin Rakhmat, in six form, there are qaulan sadidan 14%, qaulan balighan 18%, qaulan kariman 11%, qaulan ma’rufan 18%, qaulan layyinan 7%, and qaulan maysuran 14%.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Besarnya animo publik terhadap televisi mengakibatkan industri media berlomba merebut perhatian pemirsa dengan beragam tayangan menarik, seperti infotainment. Dalam praktiknya tayangan infotainment banyak menuai kontroversi. Namun pada bulan Ramadhan,   umumnya   televisi   dengan   sengaja   berlomba   memproduksi   dan menayangkan program yang bermuatan religi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana program infotainment Insert Siang di Trans TV edisi bulan Ramadhan 1437 H ditinjau dari etika  komunikasi  Islam. Dalam  hal  ini  mengacu  pada  teori  dari  Jalaluddin Rakhmat tentang Etika Komunikasi Islam.  Dengan menggunakan konten analisis, diperoleh hasil: tidak  semua  informasi  dalam  program  infotainment  Insert Siang bermuatan baik. Sebesar 82% dariberita hiburan yang ditayangkan di bulan Ramadhan menunjukkan beritanya disajikan sesuai dengan etika komunikasi Islam merujuk konsepnya Jalaluddin Rakhmat, yang menyebut enam (6) bentuk, qaulan sadidan 14%, qaulan balighan 18%, qaulan kariman 11%, qaulan ma’rufan 18%, qaulan layyinan 7%, dan qaulan maysuran 14%.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe media ideology and construct media independence in the 2019 political year. Ideology has a major influence on the determination of media content. It is as if the general election democracy party cannot be separated from the mass media, so that the reporting of events "attacking each other" by the candidate pair cannot be avoided in the general election contestation. The object of the study was Kompas.com reporting on time limitations during the 2019 presidential and vice presidential election campaign. The research method used was qualitative library research. Data collection techniques using documentation. The results showed that the challenge of media ideology in maintaining the independence of media coverage in the political year must use the principles of independence. They are the presence or absence of opinion, personalization, sensation, stereotype, linkage, and accuracy in reporting.

Abstract

The human patterns and behavior in the dynamics of society have internal uniqueness in forming a habit. The pattern and behavior become a social construction that tends to humanist values so that it has implications for culture. Culture is the result of human creativity, initiative, and taste. Culture represents a distinctive feature for people living in an area. The Samin community remains a group that adheres to the teachings of Saminism. In the Samin community, the culture of the wedding ceremony is contrary to Islam. There are so many things deviate from Islamic ways, such as the term “weton” (birthday) which is frequently used as the fundamental tendency for the Samin community in determining marriage mates, days and dates of marriage in a Javanese perspective and do not involve the KUA in the marriage procession. In Islam, marriage unlimited to the symbol of the birthday of every couple, both male and female. This is explained in al-Dzariyat: 49. After the presence of Islam as a religion of da'wah, the culture of the Samin community began to experience systematic changes, both religious and nationalist through the propagation of empowerment with a cultural approach. Empowerment of da'wah with a cultural approach gradually began to come into contact with the culture of the Samin community which tended to be "conservative." This change occurred through the acculturation of Samin's Islamic marriage culture and administrative records by KUA. These changes occur through the acculturation of the culture of Samin's Islamic marriage and administrative records by the KUA.

Abstract

Disabilities people, especially muslim who are blind have the same desire with other Muslims. The similarity desire is become da’i or propagator of Islam despite having physical limitations. The main obstacle for them in the spread of Islam is communication. In  order  to  establish  the  communication  between  the  sender  and the recipient should both have the same transmission and symbols. Transmission and the same symbol will be created if both of them have the same knowledge.Unfortunately, the blind Muslims often have difficulty in gaining knowledge of Islam. This is because they can not read Islamic books. Therefore,  in  this  article  will  discuss  the  audiobook,  which  is  a voiced book that can be used blind Muslim to deepen knowledge of Islam. The benefits to be gained by the Islamic audiobook is facilitate communication  between  blind  Muslims  and  not  the  blind  one.--------------------------------------------------------------------------Penyandang disabilitas khususnya tunanetra yang beragama Islam mempunyai keinginan yang sama dengan umat Islam awas lainnya. Persamaan keinginan tersebut antara lain ingin menjadi dai atau penyebar agama Islam meskipun dalam keterbatasan. Kendala utama bagi mereka dalam penyebaran Islam adalah komunikasi. Agar komunikasi dapat terjalin dengan baik antara pengirim dan penerima pesan hendaknya keduanya mempunyai transmisi dan simbol yang sama. Transmisi dan simbol yang sama akan tercipta jika keduanya mempunyai pengetahuan yang sama.Sayangnya, muslim tunanetra sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memperoleh pengetahuan keislaman. Hal ini dikarenakan mereka tidak dapat membaca buku-buku Islam. Oleh sebab itu dalam artikel ini akan membahas audiobook yang merupakan sebuah buku bersuara yang dapat digunakan saudara muslim tunanetra untuk memperdalam ilmu Islam. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dengan adanya audiobook Islami akan memperlancar komunikasi di antara muslim tunanetra dan muslim awas.

Abstract

Intercultural communication becomes a norm in the midst of society that has been globalized. There are no more regional boundaries and cultural barriers that travel between one person and another. But in reality, cultural differences often cause ripples of problems and even lead to the emergence of social conflict. This is due to the strengthening of ethnic identity that led to the emergence of ethnocentrism and stereotype in which one group feels superior to other ethnic groups.This study discusses the relationship of communication and culture that is like two sides of the coin. Culture shapes human thoughts and behavior and shapes our patterns of communication. While with communication we can convey the result of creation, desire and taste to others. This study wanted to examine matters relating to intercultural communication, especially on religious groups that led to the emergence of prejudice, causing a sense of mutual suspicion and even hostility between religious groups. In this case prejudice becomes an obstacle in communicating.Intercultural communication aims to remove barriers as a result of cultural differences. As the principle of communication that the more like the cultural background will be more effective communication. Intercultural communication wants to make us human beings, ie people who look at others from the point of their culture not from the point of our culture so that will grow mutual respect.Keywords: communication, culture, religious group------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Komunikasi antar budaya menjadi norma di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang telah mengglobal. Tidak ada lagi batas-batas regional dan hambatan budaya yang bergerak antara satu orang dan yang lain. Namun dalam kenyataannya, perbedaan budaya sering menyebabkan riak masalah dan bahkan mengarah pada munculnya konflik sosial. Hal ini disebabkan menguatnya identitas etnis yang menyebabkan munculnya etnosentrisme dan stereotipe di mana satu kelompok merasa lebih superior dari kelompok etnis lain.Studi ini membahas hubungan komunikasi dan budaya yang seperti dua sisi mata uang. Budaya membentuk pikiran dan perilaku manusia dan membentuk pola komunikasi kita. Sementara dengan komunikasi kita dapat menyampaikan hasil ciptaan, keinginan dan rasa kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini ingin meneliti hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan komunikasi antar budaya, terutama pada kelompok agama yang menyebabkan munculnya prasangka, menyebabkan rasa saling curiga dan bahkan permusuhan antar kelompok agama. Dalam hal ini prasangka menjadi kendala dalam berkomunikasi.Komunikasi antarbudaya bertujuan untuk menghilangkan hambatan sebagai akibat dari perbedaan budaya. Sebagai prinsip komunikasi yang lebih menyukai latar belakang budaya akan komunikasi yang lebih efektif. Komunikasi antarbudaya ingin menjadikan kita manusia, yaitu orang yang melihat orang lain dari sudut budaya mereka bukan dari sudut budaya kita sehingga akan tumbuh saling menghargai.Kata kunci: komunikasi, budaya, kelompok keagamaan

Abstract

In the era of digital technology the role of the media is very important in changing people's habits and becoming an important part in the lives of social communities. The existence of the media now greatly influences the culture of the community in obtaining information, but the negative side is that the media can control the community and make it subject to the rules made by the media itself. Go-food is present as a medium that makes it easy for people to meet the needs of high urban mobility. The business or trade sector is a sector that has an important role in the process of producing goods and services. The research method uses a cultural studies approach (cultural studies) in examining the Go-food phenomenon which is reflected in the socio-cultural context of the urban consumer society. Data collection techniques using the study of literature. The results showed that Go-food succeeded in mediating and changing the order of habits of users in meeting food needs through the media. There is a process by which the community begins to depend on the application and the existence of power which results in the community being subject to the rules that are made.

Abstract

This study examines the Correlation between brand image Gadis Magazine with loyalty of reading Gadis Magazine in Semarang city. Rationale informing the research this is the Expectancy Value Theory States that the person's behavior is afunction of the value the results expected of a deed. The person's behavior will result in something, the higher the expected value, the higher the desire to realize a particular behaviours. Paradigm in this research is positivistic. This research is classified in explanative type of research. The population in this research is 425 students of Senior High School 1 Semarang, in 10th grade dan have known to read Girl Magazines. This research using multistage random sampling technique, taken a sample of 136 students. The results of the calculation of the correlation Statistics Kendall's Tau B between brand image Gadis Magazine with loyalty of reading Gadis Magazine in Semarang city, retrieved the significance of 0.018 or smaller than the critical numbers i.e. 0.05. So that there is a correlation between the two variables in this research by demonstrating significant results. If viewed from the coefficients of Correlation obtained results 1.0. It can be noted that the relationship is very high.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan antara Citra Merek Majalah Gadis dengan loyalitas membaca Majalah Gadis di Kota Semarang. Dasar pemikiran yang melandasi penelitian  ini  adalah  Expectancy  Value  Theory  menyatakan bahwa  perilaku seseorang merupakan fungsi nilai (value) hasil yang diharapkan dari sebuah perbuatan. Perilaku  seseorang  akan menghasilkan sesuatu,  semakin  tinggi  nilai  yang  diharapkan, semakin tinggi pula keinginan untuk mewujudkan perilaku tertentu. Paradigma dalam penelitian ini adalah positivistik. Penelitian ini digolongkan dalam jenis penelitian Eksplanatif. Jumlah Populasi dalam penelitain ini adalah 425 Siswa yang merupakan Siswi SMAN 1 Semarang, kelas 10  yang diketahui membaca  Majalah  Gadis.  Penelitian  ini mengunakan teknik multistage random sampling, diambil sampel 136 siswa. Hasil perhitungan statistik Korelasi Kendall‘s Tau B antara Citra Merek Majalah Gadis dengan loyalitas membaca Majalah Gadis di Kota Semarang, diperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0.018 atau  lebih  kecil  dari  angka  kritis  yaitu  0.05. Sehingga terdapat  korelasi  antara  kedua variabel dalam penelitian ini dengan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Jika dilihat dari Koefisien Korelasi diperoleh hasil 1.0. Maka dapat diketahui bahwa hubungan sangat tinggi.
