Abstract

Human resource (HR) management is a crucial factor in improving the quality of Islamic education, as the quality of teachers, educational staff, and students significantly determines the success of an institution. Human Resource Management (HRM) presents itself as a modern approach that positions people as strategic assets, in contrast to traditional personnel management, which tends to be administrative. This study aims to understand the concept of HRM, trace its development, and examine the approaches and challenges of its implementation in Islamic education. Using a descriptive-qualitative method through a literature review, this study confirms that HRM encompasses the functions of planning, recruitment, development, performance assessment, and HR welfare. HRM is developing rapidly in developing countries thanks to technological support, while in developing countries it still faces limitations. There are five main approaches: mechanical, paternalistic, systems, humanistic, and contingency. Challenges to Islamic education include globalization, digitalization, and social dynamics. HRM plays a strategic role in building professional, adaptive, innovative, and Islamically valued Islamic education.

Abstract

This study examines the humanistic education management models implemented through Indonesia’s Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) and Singapore’s Character and Citizenship Education (CCE). Using a comparative analysis approach, the research explores the philosophical foundations, implementation patterns, and evaluation mechanisms of both curricula. The findings reveal that KBC emphasizes spiritual–religious values and the five forms of love as its core principles, resulting in a flexible and contextual curriculum oriented toward character formation through daily experiences. However, KBC still faces limitations in evaluation due to the absence of standardized assessment instruments. In contrast, Singapore’s CCE is supported by a comprehensive national framework, clear competency indicators, and structured assessments, enabling consistent implementation across schools. Despite their differences, both models share a common goal of fostering holistic learners. The study concludes that integrating Indonesia’s value-deepening approach with Singapore’s systematic evaluation model can enrich the development of humanistic education management in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak :The learning model in modern Islamic boarding schools is a strategic issue to study because the education system implemented is not only directed at achieving academic competencies, but also at strengthening the character, discipline, and religious values of students. As an Islamic boarding school, PPM Surya Buana Malang applies an integrated learning pattern between intracurricular activities, co-curricular activities, and the daily lives of students so that the learning process takes place comprehensively. This study aims to analyze the concept and practice of the learning model developed at PPM Surya Buana by examining three main focuses: (1) integration of Islamic boarding school curriculum, (2) patterns of internalization of character values through the Islamic boarding school system, and (3) the level of effectiveness of the learning model on the formation of student character. This study uses a qualitative approach through three data collection techniques, namely literature study, direct observation in the Islamic boarding school environment, and interviews with managers and educators at PPM Surya Buana. Data were collected through literature review and analyzed using a thematic model to find the dominant conceptual pattern. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the Islamic boarding school curriculum is integrated in learning through strengthening Islamic material, habituating worship, and activities that support student discipline; (2) internalization of character values is built through role models, intensive mentoring, and 24-hour supervision; and (3) the effectiveness of character formation is proven to be high because students undergo a consistent learning process both in class and in the dormitory environment. These findings indicate that the learning model at PPM Surya Buana Malang contributes greatly to producing students with strong characters and who are ready to adapt to the demands of the modern era. Keywords : Learning models, Islamic boarding school curriculum, character values. Abstract

Inclusive education management strategies based on Virtual Reality (VR) technology represent an innovative approach to supporting the learning of students with special needs. This study aims to analyze how educational management strategies can optimize the use of Virtual Reality technology in creating safe, interactive, and adaptive learning environments. The methodology that used is descriptive qualitative literature research. The review process was conducted systematically, beginning with topic identification, followed by source selection, thematic analysis, and culminating in conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that effective inclusive education management must encompass five key pillars: adaptive curriculum planning, teacher training, infrastructure provision, learning evaluation, and cross-sector collaboration. Virtual Reality technology has proven to significantly enhance learning motivation, conceptual understanding, emotional regulation, and active participation among students with special needs. Despite challenges such as limited budgets, digital gaps, and resistance to change, responsive and collaborative management strategies are essential to the successful transformation of inclusive education through technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of transformational skills and digital literacy as a strategy for developing human resources (HR) among university students in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and hybrid learning. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving lecturers, students, and university management. The results show that transformational skills play a role in shaping students’ character to be independent, adaptive, and visionary, while digital literacy enhances technological competence to support the learning process and readiness for a technology-based workforce. Although digital facilities on campus are adequate, their utilization remains suboptimal due to limitations in devices, internet access, and training. The integration of these two aspects serves as a strategic step in creating excellent, creative, and globally competitive students. Educational institutions play a crucial role through the strengthening of digital curriculum policies, the provision of cyber laboratories, and technology training. Thus, the synergy between transformational skills and digital literacy becomes the main foundation in shaping adaptive and competitive student human resources in the era of artificial intelligence.
