Journal of Islamic Education Management (JIEM) merupakan merupakan jurnal yang memuat tulisan, hasil penelitian, pengembangan, kajian atau telaah keilmuan manajemen pendidikan Islam. Isi jurnal memuat pandangan kritis, berpikir komprehensif dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam. Jurnal ini terbit setiap bulan Juni dan Desember dan mulai terbit tahun 2016, membahas tentang permasalahan manajemen pendidikan Islamt sebagai upaya menghasilkan leadership dan managerial yang profesional yang menjadi tujuan utama studi manajemen pendidikan Islam (MPI).

Abstract

This research is aimed at: (1) describe the quality management of certified lecturers to implement the Tridharma of Higher Education in UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto; and (2) describe the new concept of quality management of certified lecturers in UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic methods. Data in this study were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. While data analysis techniques are carried out simultaneously when the data collection process is carried out. The results showed that the steps taken to improve the quality of prospective lecturers who will take the certification test include:: (1) Carry out higher education training activities for lecturers; (2) Conducting religious moderation seminars; (3) Conducting workshops on reporting Lecturer Workload (LBKD); (4) Collaborate with Research and Community Service Institutes to organize research methods workshops; (5) Collaborating with the Institute for Research and Community Service to organize community service workshops. (6) Carry out guidance and assessment of Qur'an literacy and practice of worship for lecturers. These six steps have implications for improving the quality of certified lecturers in the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era.

Abstract

Era digital membawa dampak perubahan di berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Perubahan yang terjadi tidak hanya memberikan peluang tetapi juga tantangan. Dengan peluang dan tantangan yang ada diperlukan sebuat metode perencanaan pendidikan yang mampu menghasilkan bentuk perencanaan pendidikan Islam yang efefktif di era digital ini. Penelitian ini bermaksud menemukan metode perencanaan pendidikan Islam yang terbaik agar tujuan pendidikan Islam tercapai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metoda analisis deskriptif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara studi kepustakaan dari berbagai buku dan artikel ilmiah. Metode partisipatif dinilai lebih demokratis, realistis, dan efektif, karena semua pihak berhak memberikan saran dan masukan, sehingga perencanaan yang dilakukan lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi di lapangan dan didukung oleh semua pihak. Metode partisipatif ini melahirkan sebuah kebijakan yang melibatkan semua pihak. Kebijakan publik yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan dalam proses perencanaan pendidikan Islam merupakan langkah penting untuk memastikan bahwa pendidikan Islam dapat menghadapi tantangan era digital dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

Education financing is a very important component in the process of providing education. Funding is funding issued either by individual students or members of the public, as well as the government for the smooth running of education and the use and use of financing effectively and efficiently. This study aims to describe the financing of education in junior high schoolsAn Naja Boarding School which includes educational funding sources as well utilization and use of the financing. As for approach and the method in this study uses descriptive qualitative data from interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative analysis techniques which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. While the data validity technique, researchers used data and method triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the financing system for SMP An Naja Boarding School is centralized, centered on the foundation. schools offer educational fees that are affordable to education customers, and are lower when compared to private educational institutions in the area. Educational resources and use include: students, BOS funds, regular regional donors, incidental grants, waqf and grants, and activity proposals. Sources of education costs are allocated to all the needs of schools and also Islamic boarding schools. The analysis of educational costs produces investment costs, operational costs, and educational personal costs.Keywords: Education Financing, Effectiveness Cost Analysis

Abstract

The results of observations made by researchers at the State Vocational High School 1 Gantar Indramayu, found several problems, the lack of professionalism of some employees in carrying out there main duties and functions and the less than optimal supervisory role of the school principal. Some of these problems can hinder the learning and teaching process at school. This study aims to determine the effect of principal supervision on employee performance at the State Vocational High School 1 Gantar Indramayu, this study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. This study used the Slovin formula proportionate simple random sampling technique where the sample of this study amounted to 50 employees out of 102 total employees. The main data collection technique is using a questionnaire distributed to 50 employees. Observation techniques and documentation studies were carried out to support the results of this study. Based on data analysis using SPSS version 22, the t statistical test found t count 3.365> 1.677 t table or Sig. 0.002 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the principal's supervision has a effect on employee performance at the State Vocational High School 1 Gantar Indramayu. In the calculation of the coefficient of determination, it is known that the effect of principal supervision on employee performance at the State Vocational High School 1 Gantar Indramayu is 19.1% while the remaining 81% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From the results of these calculations, there is a influence between the principal's supervision on employee performance at the State Vocational High School 1 Gantar Indramayu.

Abstract

Management of education personnel aims to utilize education personnel effectively and efficiently to achieve optimal results. The purpose of this research is to find out how to improve the performance of the administrative sector in the 4.0 era. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation.The data analysis process is carried out with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on this research the management of education personnel in improving the performance of the administrative field in the 4.0 era. Planning by analyzing employee needs in improving performance such as conducting employee training and development. Implementation in improving administrative perfomanace with development training and providing compensation. Evaluation in improving administrative performance in Nashuhiyyah junior high school is carried out once a month to find out how far the progress of employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.Keywords: Management of education personnel, administrative performance, in the era of 4.0AbstrakManajemen tenaga kependidikan bertujuan untuk mendayagunakan tenaga kependidikan secara efektif dan efesien untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja tata usaha di era 4.0. Metode ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan, wawancara, obsevasi dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini manajemen tenaga kependidikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja tata usaha di era 4.0 yaitu Perencanaan  dengan menganalisis kebutuhan pegawai dalam meningkatkan kinerja seperti mengadakan pelatihan dan pengembangan pegawai. Pelaksanaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja tata usaha dengan pelatihan, pengembangan dan pemberian kompensasi. Evaluasi dalam peningkatan kinerja tata usaha  di MTs Nashuhiyyyah dilakukan satu bulan sekali untuk mengetahui sudah sejauh mana perkembangan pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab nyaKata kunci : Manajemen Tenaga kependidikan, kinerja tata usaha, era 4.0

Abstract

Abstract A leader rarely applies a servant leadership style, but in fact there are principals who apply this leadership style but it has not been measured how far the implementation has been applied. The many changes and advances in the field of education so that careful preparation and adaptation are needed for employees; because these two things are one of the factors causing the decline in employee motivation at MI Hidayatus Shibyan Talun Cirebon. This study aims to determine how closely the principal's servant leadership style is related to employee motivation which refers to servant leadership indicators, namely: Love, Empowerment, Vision, Humility, and Trust. Then that refers to employee motivation indicators, namely: Responsible, Challenging Tasks, Encouraging Criticism and Suggestions, Optimistic Spirit, Meticulous and Tenacious, and Innovation and Creative. This study used quantitative methods with 20 respondents who were employees of MI Hidayatus Shibyan Talun Cirebon Regency. Based on the results of the study, a significant relationship was found between the principal's servant leadership style and employee work motivation of 0.001. With a strong degree of correlation (0.60-0.799) and a positive relationship form with a value of 0.672.Keywords: Relationship, Leadership Style, Servant Leadership, Work Motivation, Principal, Employee Seorang pemimpin jarang sekali yang menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan servant leadership, namun pada kenyataannya terdapat kepala sekolah yang menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan tersebut tetapi belum terukur seberapa jauh implementasi yang sudah diterapkan. Banyaknya perubahan dan kemajuan pada bidang pendidikan sehingga diperlukannya persiapan yang matang dan adaptasi bagi para pegawai; karena kedua hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab menurunnya motivasi kerja pegawai di MI Hidayatus Shibyan Talun Cirebon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa erat hubungan gaya kepemimpinan servant leadership kepala sekolah dengan motivasi kerja pegawai yang merujuk pada indicator servant leadership yaitu: Love, Empowerment, Vision, Humility, dan Trust. Kemudian yang merujuk pada indicator motivasi kerja pegawai yaitu: Bertanggung jawab, Tugas Menantang, Kritik dan saran yang mendorong, Semangat optimis, Teliti dan Ulet, serta Inovasi dan kreatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 20 responden yang merupakan pegawai MI Hidayatus Shibyan Talun Kabupaten Cirebon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukannya hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan servant leadership kepala sekolah dengan motivasi kerja pegawai sebesar 0,001. Dengan derajat hubungan korelasi kuat (0,60-0,799) dan bentuk hubungannya yang positif dengan nilai 0,672.Kata Kunci: Hubungan, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Servant Leadership, Motivasi Kerja, Kepala Sekolah, Pegawai

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) merupakan salah satu bentuk penyelenggaraan pendidikan non formal dalam konteks pendidikan keagamaan Islam. Dalam konteks manajemen, peran ustadz dan ustadzah di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an diakui sebagai sumber daya manusia yang sangat berperan. Hal ini membuat pengelolaan ustadz dan ustadzah merupakan suatu hal yang penting, termasuk pengelolaan terhadap perencanaan kompensasi yang diterima dalm upaya meningkatkan motivasi kerja. Adapun tempat penelitian dilakukan di TPQ Darul Muzakkirin. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dimana teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode Miles & Hubermas yang melibatkan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pembuatan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan kompensasi finansial langsung bagi ustadz dan ustadzah yang berupa gaji masih sangat bergantung kepada Bantuan Kesejahteraan Guru (BKG) yang diberikan oleh pemerintah. Disamping itu, perencanaan kompensasis finansial tidak langsung juga belum dilakukan sepenuhnya kepada ustadz dan ustadzah TPQ. Adapun perencanaan kompensasi non finansial nampaknya cukup berhasil dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman, bersahabat, dan kondusif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kompensasi di TPQ Darul Muzakkirin dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja ustadz dan ustadzah, meskipun belum dilakukan seacra optimal dan perencanaan kompensasi tidak secara langsung dilakukan oleh lembaga.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data statistik nasional pada rekap progress pendataan EMIS periode 2022-2023 di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Quran (LPQ) menduduki presentase terendah pada lembaga yang belum melakukan update EMIS. Ada beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi di Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Quran (LPQ) salah satunya adalah LPQ di Kecamatan Tirtamulya Kabupaten Karawang yakni TPQ Barkatul Huda yang memiliki persentase sebesar 14, 36%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa TPQ Barkatul Huda belum optimal dalam pemutakhiran data pada EMIS periode 2022-2023. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk membuktikan bahwa penggunaan EMIS dapat dioptimalisasikan dalam proses pendataan lembaga pendidikan Al-Quran supaya menghasilkan mutu pendidikan yang efektif. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi library research kemudian dikaji menggunakan pendekatan teoritis dan filosofis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Implementasi pengelolaan data lembaga di TPQ Barkatul Huda Tirtamulya Karawang dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi EMIS berbasis online. Pengelolaan data EMIS yang dilakukan tergolong baik, 2) Proses pengolahan data EMIS melalui pengumpulan data yang diperlukan, penginputan, penyimpanan, dan pengecekkan ulang. 3) Faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan EMIS meliputi faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Faktor pendukung dipengaruhi oleh peran kepala madrasah yang sangat baik dan tingkat pemahaman operator TPQ Barkatul Huda. Faktor penghambat dipengaruhi oleh minimnya anggaran yang dikeluarkan oleh sekolah serta standar kualifikasi operator yang tidak sesuai.

Abstract

National Library Standard is a measure of the provisions set as a reference in organizing the library. Therefore, school libraries must follow the provisions in accordance with the National Standards of Libraries. This research aims to find out how to apply the national standard of school libraries in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdlatul Ulama Astanajapura Cirebon Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques through, observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the research shows that the library MTs NU Astanajapura has not implemented the National Standard library because the activities of re-count and weeding conducted is 4 years, and also for the collection that is still not in accordance with the applicable curriculum so that there are still books left behind, only have one library and not a background in library science, still the lack of library space , areas and facilities contained in the library MTs NU Astanajapura.Keywords: Application, Library, National Library StandardsStandar Nasional Perpustakaan merupakan ukuran ketentuan yang ditetapkan sebagai acuan dalam menyelenggarakan perpustakaan. Maka dari itu, perpustakaan sekolah harus mengikuti ketentuan sesuai Standar Nasional Perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan standar nasional perpustakaan sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdlatul Ulama Astanajapura Kabupaten Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adaah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perpustakaan MTs NU Astanajapura belum menerapkan Standar Nasional perpustakaan karena kegiatan cacah ulang dan penyiangan yang dilakukan adalah 4 tahun sekali, dan juga untuk koleksinya yang masih belum sesuai dengan kurikulum yang berlaku sehingga masih ada buku yan tertinggal, hanya memiliki satu tenaga perpustakaan dan bukan berlatar belakang ilmu perpustakaan, masih minimnya luas ruangan perpustakaan, area dan sarana yang terdapat pada perpustakaan MTs NU Astanajapura.Kata kunci: Penerapan, Perpustakaan, Standar Nasional Perpustakaan

Abstract

Abstract: “This research is entitled "Implementation of Character Education in Forming Responsible Character at SMP IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Ogan Ilir". The reason the researcher took this title is because the researcher sees that there is still responsibility character education that is not yet running in accordance with the goals of character education in the school environment, where there are still students who are not used to responsibility in the school environment. The main problem in this research is how to implement character education in forming responsible character and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing character education in forming responsible character at SMP IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Ogan Ilir.This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The main informant in this research is the principal of SMP IT Raudhatul Ulum, while the supporting informants are the Head of Student Affairs who doubles as a teacher, as well as class IX students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using interactive analysis techniques which included data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and data validity.From the research results obtained as follows: First, the implementation of character education in forming responsible character can run with the existence of policies made by schools to form responsible character in students, not only through regulations but through activities that motivate them to have a sense of responsibility. Second, the environment also has an important role in implementing responsible character education. Third, supporting and inhibiting factors that are the reasons for implementing or not implementing responsible character education”.
