Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the VII grade students’ prosocial behavior of Junior High Boarding School based on genders. The study used a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data measurement tool was a questionnaire in the form of a scale based on indicators of prosocial behavior. The participant were 34 seventh grade students of Junior High Boarding School Academic Year 2017/2018 consisting of 17 boys and 17 girls. The result showed in general prosocial behavior of students in the high category, meaning that students were able to display and show prosocial behavior. Prosocial behavior of male students and female stucents show that there were significant differences between female students and male students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve understanding of students through classical guidance services using audio visual media in class IX 10 students of SMP Negeri 9 Palembang. This research uses the guidance and counseling action research method (PTBK), with the research subjects being 30 students, consisting of 13 men and 17 women. Planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Data collection instruments using the method of observation and questionnaires. The analysis technique is done by using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that classical guidance services using audio visual media provide an improvement in understanding student coordination. Before the action there were no students in the high category. After being given an act of students who are relatively in the high category. By using video media, let students be interested in participating in the learning process and also provide students to understand service material.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the experience learning approach in Guidance and Counseling learning in secondary schools for FKIP Unsri Guidance and Counseling study program students. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the experience learning approach has an effect on the activeness of students in learning in the Middle School Guidance and Counseling courses. This study uses an experimental method, with the One Group Pretest-Post Test Design pre-experimental design, because the design is one of the research designs included in the type of pre-experiment research with observations made twice, namely before the experiment called pretest and after the experiment. called a post test on research subjects. The research subjects were students of the guidance and counseling study program FKIP Unsri in the 3rd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year Palembang class, amounting to 25 people. To obtain data using the Observation method with observation guidelines. The data analysis technique used is the t-test statistical analysis technique. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that learning by using experiential learning can improve learning activeness in the Secondary Guidance and Counseling Subjects in the Guidance and Counseling study program FKIP Unsri. T test results obtained = 8.56 is greater than t table 2.02, namely t arithmetic 8.56. > t table 2.02 with df N-1 at a significant level of 5%. Thus Learning with the approach of experiential learning can improve the learning activities of students in the guidance and counseling study program.

Abstract

Dilema dalam menentukan pilihan karir selalu dihadapi oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Ironisnya sebagai millenial mereka sebenarnya memiliki banyak pilihan, namun dikarenakan tidak matangnya perencanaan karir menyebabkan mereka ragu ragu dalam memilih pilihan karir. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji hambatan yang ditemukan baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Hasil survey menunjukkan secara internal keyakinan dan pemahaman diri yang rendah menjadi hambatan utama, sedangkan secara eksternal ekspektasi dan adaptasi kepada gaya hidup yang membuat mahasiswa menjadi ragu ragu dalam menentukan pilihan karir. Penelitian merekomendasikan perlunya mahasiswa mendapatkan bimbingan karir yang berfokus kepada pendalaman kemampuan dan tipologi kepribadian, selain itu dalam perkuliahan mahasiswa harus dibiasakan melakukan proyek kreatif dalam PBL, dan program studi perlu menambah porsi pengalaman praktik lapangan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between self-regulation with a tendency to addiction to online games in the satyawacanachristian university faculty student information technology. The number of samples were 95 people. Methods of data collection in the from of online gaming addiction variable Game Addiction Scale, which was adopted from the theory of Griffths and Davies (2004) which describes the dependence on online game on to student based on DSM IV criteria by developing seven aspects including: Sailience, Tolerance, Mood Modification, Relapse, Withdrawal Symptoms, Conflict, and Problems. In the variable self-regulation using Self Regulation Quesionaire (SRQ) from Brown, Millier, and Lawendowski (1999).The results of this study showed the value of the product moment correlations rxy= -0.545 ; p = 0.00 (p < 0,05), which means there is a negative and significant relationships between self-regulation on the trend of online gaming addiction in satya wacana christian university information technology faculty students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1). bentuk perilaku maladaptif siswa di SMPN 14Banjarmasin Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021, 2). faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku maladaptif siswa di SMPN 14 Banjarmasin 2020/2021, 3).Upaya guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengatasi perilaku maladaptif siswa di SMPN 14 Banjarmasin 2020/2021.metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah : Guru Bk, Guru Wali kelas, dan Siswa SMPN 14 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi dan perpanjangan keikutsertaan.Sedangkan analisis data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis membuat kesimpulan dari keseluruhan pembahasan.hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perilaku maldaptif siswa SMPN 14 Banjarmasin secara umum yang sering di lakukan yaitu membolos, main tik tok, dan membuly teman. Faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku maladaptif siswa di SMPN 14 Banjarmasin adalah , Faktor kontrol diri yang lemah,faktor keluarga, dan faktor lingkungan atau teman sebaya yang tidak baik dan tidak mendukung dalam penyesuaian terhadap lingkungan. Upaya yang telah di lakukan Guru BK dalam mengatasi perilaku maladaptif siswa SMPN 14 Banjarmasin adalah identifikasi masalah, mengumpulkan data siswa dan latar belakang siswa, melakukan kolaborasi dengan guru lain dan orang tua siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah siswa di sekolah, memberi teguran atau hukuman serta nasihat yang sifatnya mengedukasi dan mendidik siswa itu sendiri.

Abstract

 The problem of this research is based on the fact that there are still many students who enter advanced schools at the will of their parents, students feel that they are wrong to enter the department because they do not match their talents, interests and potential. Furthermore, there have been efforts that have been made by guidance and counseling teachers in providing Holland theory career guidance services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were the Counseling Guidance Teacher and students. Data analysis in this study used data reduction steps, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Holland theory career guidance services has been running well. From the results of interviews, observations and documentation to research informants regarding the implementation of Holland theory career guidance services, it can be understood that at the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up stages it has gone well as it should, this is evident in the presence of service program plans, materials and instruments. Holland, as well as the results of the Holland instrument analysis of students who already know the personality type and direction of their career choices.

Abstract

Fire is a form of disaster that often occurs in the city of Samarinda. The densely populated location and construction of residential houses made from wood often exacerbate the magnitude of the fire which is mostly caused by short-circuiting of electricity. One of the impacts that befell the fire victims is psychological trauma. The trauma impulsively raises coping strategies in the individual. This study aims to see how the coping strategy of fire victims in overcoming the problems that befall them after the disaster. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with three data collected techniques, namely observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study prove that there are supporting and inhibiting factors for coping strategies for victims of fire disasters in Samarinda City. Supporting Factors Victim coping strategies are spiritual beliefs, material assistance from State institutions, and support from the victims' social environment. On the other hand, the inhibiting factor of the fire victim coping strategy is the uneven distribution of aid patterns and the absence of experts in the field of counseling or psychology. On the other hand, the government also has not provided experts such as psychologists or counselors who are tasked with dealing with psychological crises experienced by post-disaster victims. The absence of experts in dealing with the conditions of the fire victims crisis can be taken over by experts in Islamic counseling to apply Islamic counseling to enhance the coping strategies of victims of fire disasters in Samarinda City.Keyword: Coping Strategy, Disaster, Fire, Samarinda City

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of role playing in improving student learning discipline. The research design was one group pretest - posttest design. Role playing interventions were held 4 times. The population in this study amounted to 339 people. From this population identified as having low learning discipline from the results of the learning discipline questionnaire, then separated and devoted to being given intervention with role playing. The sample in this study amounted to 35 subjects who were identified as having learning discipline with a low category with a value, 6 students in the experimental group showed an average of 141.5 and 6 students in the control group showed an average of 144, 2. Role playing techniques were effective to improve Junior high school student learning discipline. This is based on testing the hypothesis that the results of the paired 't' test show that the average difference in student learning discipline before the role playing intervention and after the role playing intervention is 5.77143, meaning that there is an increase in learning discipline after the role playing intervention with an average of 5.77143. 5.77. the result of the calculation of the value "t" is 6,086 with Sig. .000. it means that the application of role playing is effective to improve student learning discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the phenomenon of aggressive behavior in adolescent girls in grade 10 Ips Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Darul Dakwah wal Irsyad Palu City which is a religious-based school but has a serious case record. This research includes field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources in this study were 1 BK teacher, and 5 female students in class 10 Social Studies. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis technique uses interactive analysis. The results of this study indicate that aggressive behavior is the source of juvenile delinquency cases, namely verbal and relational aggression, this aggressive behavior occurs in female students and verbal and relational aggression behavior is easy to develop in the school because some of the female students come from a family background that is not harmonious and comes from from an unhealthy environment and negative circle of friends.
