Abstract

The introduction of character values in students is very important to equip them with good character and to be able to distinguish between good behavior and bad behavior. Character education itself has a main function, namely developing the basic potential of students, both in thinking and behaving in society and improving the nation's civilization that is competitive in world relations. Once the importance of character education in providing positive input for the progress of the nation, so it must be used as a basis for learning. No exception for children with mild mental retardation in inclusive elementary schools. This mild mentally retarded student requires repetition in learning as well as its application in a concrete and continuous manner. Therefore, this study aims to describe the effectiveness of implementing the introduction of character values for mild mentally retarded children through interactive games in inclusive elementary schools. This study uses qualitative research through descriptive methods with data collection techniques through observations and documentation studies. The subjects in the study were the  Teachers, and Students with the classification of children with mild mental retardation. The results showed that interactive games were effective enough to introduce character values for mild mentally retarded children in inclusive elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: 1) student satisfaction regarding the introduction of Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Pancasila Student Profile training using Assembler Edu, 2) the relevance of PjBL introduction training and Pancasila Student Profile using Assembler Edu with the main functions of the teacher, and 3) Enter the teachers regarding the introduction of PjBL training and the Pancasila Student Profile using Assembler Edu. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis using Python tools. In this study, training was held so that teachers could create projects using the Assembler Studio. The results of data analysis showed that the feedback or responses that the teachers showed related to the training carried out by the teachers were very good. the teachers are satisfied with the Assembler Edu training held by the teacher. The training that is followed can provide benefits for teachers in understanding the main tasks of teachers as students of Pancasila. In addition, the relevance of the training provided to teachers, and motivating teachers to be able to provide learning with PjBL according to the independent learning curriculum that utilizes Assembler Edu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the TGT model with the help of snakes and ladders media for understanding student concepts in science class 4 at SDN Bakalrejo 01. The design of this study was experimental. The population in this study were students of SDN Bakalrejo 01, the samples in this study were students in grades 4A and 4B. The data analysis techniques in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, independent t-test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed: 1) There were differences in understanding of the concepts of 4th grade students at SDN Bakalrejo 01 after using the TGT model with the help of snake and ladder media in science lessons, which was proven by a significance value of 0.008 <0.05. 2) There is an effect of the TGT model assisted by the snake and ladder media on the understanding of the concepts of the 4th grade students of SDN Bakalrejo 01 in science lessons as evidenced by the significance value of 0.032 <0.05. science lessons.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in student learning activities in online learning in class V SD Negeri 1 Purbalingga Wetan. This type of research is qualitative with fifth grade teachers, students, and parents as participants, data collection is done through interviews and documents. Data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification using the Miles and Huberman model. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results showed that the active learning of students during online learning was quite good, this was because not all students did not really understand the material and tasks given by the teacher. Students still find it difficult when they find questions or materials that they feel are difficult or do not understand so they have to ask for help from their parents or relatives at home. In the implementation of online learning now students are given handbooks by the school in the form of modules or theme books to make it easier for students to learn and do the tasks given by the teacher, students must also have a handbook other than the one given by the school to make it easier for students to learn and look for other materials. required. The implementation of online learning in class V of SD Negeri 1 Purbalingga Wetan, of course, has several obstacles, namely the area where the student lives is sometimes still difficult to signal, so when the teacher sends assignments or provides material it can take quite a long time. Vice versa if the student will send it back. In addition, there are other obstacles, namely the difficulty of communication between teachers and parents of students. It is difficult to communicate with parents because they also have a number of other jobs to do, not only supervising their children while studying and the signal network constraints that make communication a bit hampered.

Abstract

Interest and active participation of students of class X MIPA 2 MAN 2 Semarang are less on the process of teaching and learning activities that result in the acquisition value Civics achieved in the first daily test lowest of 11 classes with the results of the average value of 27, the number of students who are competent were 3 people, incompetent were 33 people with mastery learning 8,3%, below the minimum completeness criteria 75. Medium mastery learning expected at 85%. Issues that will be examined by using the Debate Model to improve the competence of students to the Archipelago Concept material in accordance with the basic competencies of subjects Civics Madrasah Aliyah class X second semester is to characterize the important meaning of the Archipelago Concept in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The study was conducted as a Class Action Research within 4 months starting in January until April 2022 using two cycles. Subjects were students of class X MIPA 2 MAN 2 Semarang who are 34 people. Research findings on the first cycle of students’ participation in general is good, as seen from the results of observations made by teachers, the average value reached by the students was 76, students who are competent as many as 27 people, incompetent were 9 people and mastery learning 75%. However, there is still no satisfaction because mastery learning has not reached 85%, so the study continued with Cycle II in principle as in the first cycle but there were competitions between the students. Cycle II shows the results on the students' participation is better than Cycle I. The average value reached 90, the number of students who qualified 34 people incompetent were 2 people and achieve mastery learning 94%. Based on these findings it can be concluded that the use of Debate Model can enhance students's understanding of the concept of learning about the Archipelago Concept and can increase students’ interest and active role. It is advisable for Civics teachers can be creative in learning innovation and may try to use the Debate Model in learning Civics.

Abstract

Learning activities during pandemic covid-19 were implemented using online learning. However, many adjutsments have occured in learning policies during this pandemic. The Ministry of education introducing new learning system namely the blended learning method. This method encourages the digitization of teaching and learning activities. Blended learning involves offline class accompanied by online activities (online class). The problems of this research are 1) How do teachers implement blended learning in teaching English at SD Kebon Dalem 2 Semarang? 2) how do students respond to learning English with blended learning? 3) what are the obstacles teachers and students faced in learning English with blended learning? This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The subject of the research are the English teacher and  students of SD Kebon Dalem 2 Semarang. The stages of research method are data collection, data classification and data analysis conducted at SD Kebon Dalem 2 Semarang. The output of this research are National ISSN Journal and Prosiding of SNHP UPGRIS. The conclusions of the research are: 1) Blended learning occurs before English learning class preceded by giving instructions via Google classroom and continued by offline class which is held  with online class via Gmeet attended by 50% of students at the same time 2) Students give positive responds about learning English using blended learning which can be seen in the enthusiasm and activeness of students in class, 3) the obstacle faced by the English teacher and students only occur when there is power outage which make the internet connection and the learning process stopped for a moment.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low 4C skills in pragmatics courses for PBSI FKIP UMK students. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of 4C skills using the PjBL collaboration PBL model in pragmatics courses for students of the PBSI FKIP UMK Study Program. This research is a type of classroom action research through 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The object of this research is 30 students of PBSI FKIP UMK. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique used data triangulation. The results showed that there was an increase in the previous 4C skills from pre-cycle for knowledge construction skills 45% to 72% in cycle 1 and 80% in cycle 2, critical 46% in pre-cycle to 74 in cycle 1 and 82% in cycle 2, creativity 49% in pre-cycle to 75 in cycle 1 and 80% in cycle 2, and collaborative 54% to 75% and 80% in cycle 2. The conclusion shows an increase in 4C skills using the PjBL collaboration PBL model in the Pragmatics course in the PBSI FKIP UMK Study Program Academic Year 2021/2022.

Abstract

The distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has raised various educational problems. However, it raises new creations in utilizing technology to support educational activities. One of them is the use of podcast media as an alternative. This study will discuss how the use of podcast media in the distance learning at SMP N 1 Kajen, Pekalongan district. In conducting the research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews with the waka curriculum, teachers and students of class VIII, observation and documentation of distance learning activities. The results show that the use of podcast media at SMP N 1 Kajen as an alternative media that is not boring in the distance learning process because it utilizes streaming on the Youtube channel. This media was also responded positively by students with many students providing comments or responses.

Abstract

The background of this study is that children with Down syndrome aged 5-6 years have an obstacle in cognitive development, especially the thought process seen when children use media, namely puzzle media.  The purpose of this study is to explain the extent of cognitive development in children with Down syndrome.  This study uses descriptive qualitative to find out data on cognitive development of children with Down syndrome in TK PGRI 64 Semarang. The data of this study were obtained through observation, interviews. The results of the research at PGRI 64 Kindergarten in Semarang showed that children with Down syndrome had the ability in learning process activities related to cognitive development, namely puzzle media, but it took a long time.
