Abstract

The quality of Human Resources always be improved, one of theimprovement is through the education, which is adjusted curriculumto be more up to date. It could be seen from behind the 2013?óÔé¼Ôäóscurriculum. This research?óÔé¼Ôäós aim was to determined the way ofstudent?óÔé¼Ôäós answering questions in biological material. The methodused was a qualitative method in one of the SMK in Semarang, classX. The results showed the students use Thinking Conceptual 30 %,Semi Conceptual 70 % and Computational 0 %. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Learning Cycle(LC) 5E terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan generik siswa materiinvertebrata SMA N 1 Mranggen. Pengambilan data penelitian dilaksanakanbulan Maret 2016. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas X IPA 2. Metode penelitianyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada pre-experimental design dengandesain one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil rata-rata posttest pemahamankonsep (83,4) siswa lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil pretest (61,4). Analisisdata menggunakan uji N-gain dan uji t, hasil perhitungan uji N-gain data tespemahaman konsep menunjukkan hasil sedang yaitu 0,56. Hasil analisis uji tpretest-posttest pemahaman konsep terdapat perbedaan secara signifikandengan thitung 13,64 dan ttabel 2,65 (thitung>ttabel). Begitu juga denganketerampilan generik, hasil rata-rata posttest keterampilan generik (89,2) lebihtinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil pretest (63,4). Hasil perhitungan uji N-gainketerampilan generik siswa menunjukkan hasil tinggi yaitu 0,71. Hasil analisisuji t pretest posttest keterampilan generik terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan dengan thitung 15,61 dan ttabel 2,65 (thitung>ttabel). Dengan demikian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle (LC) 5E efektif untukmeningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan generik siswa.Kata kunci : keterampilan generic, learning Cycle 5E, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

Biological gardens Seungko Mulat is an area in Aceh Besar district Lhoong that have different types of plants in vegetation dominance by species of Angiosperm. This study aims to determine the kinds and diversity of plants Angiosperm contained in the biological garden Seungko Mulat Lhoong Aceh Besar district. The research was carried out in the biological garden of Seungko Mulat used exploratory survey method for this kind of tree, as well as squares method for herbs and shrubs. Analysis of the data by calculating the index of diversity and importance value. The results showed that in the study area, there are 9 species Angiosperm that herbs, 13 species of shrubs and 10 species of trees. The most dominant type of Angiospermae is Paspalum conjugatum, Mimosa pudica, Eupatorium oderatum and Etlingera littoralis. Index Angiosperm species diversity is low to moderate for herbs and shrubs. The necessity for herbs are 92.54 and 69.22 for the bush.Keywords: Diversity, Angiospremae, Seungko Mulat

Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DEVELOPING REST (RELIGION, ENVIRONMENT, SOCIETY, TECHNOLOGY) LESSON PLAN AND BIOENTREPRENEURSHIP APPROACH TO THE BIOLOGY STUDENTS?óÔé¼Ôäó LEARNING OUTCOME ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to develop an instructional instrument for Biology based on Religion, Environment, Society, and Technology (REST). It employed a bioentrepreneurship approach, discribed students?óÔé¼Ôäó learning outcome while they attending in the subject of enviromental pollutions, which was a part of the enviromental science. The subjects for this research were the second semester students at PGRI Semarang University, Biology Education Department. This research used a Research & Development method. The learning outcomes of the subjects in the experimental group on the materials given were higher than those in the control group. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Bioentrepreneurship untuk mengetahui hasil pembelajaran mahasiswa dalam materi pencemaran lingkungan pada perkuliahan Pengetahuan Lingkungan. Abstract

The background of this research was lowed activity and student?óÔé¼Ôäóslearning outcome of class XII IPA 1. The problem was how theactivitiy and learning outcomes could be improved. The purpose wasto improved activity and learning outcomes from metabolism topic inXII IPA 1 SMAN 1 Lasem. The research was used PROTIBING(Creativity Guided Process) through musical technique application.Classical learner?óÔé¼Ôäós average percentage in first cycle was 71.49%,increased to 76.97% in the second cycle, it?óÔé¼Ôäós achieved the specifiedperformance indicators, 70%. The result for learning outcome, 72.1%in first cycle and increased in the second cycle, 83.2%. The first cycleof performance didn?óÔé¼Ôäót reached 75, but the second cycle increased andexceeded the performance indicators. The final conclusion forPROTIBING through musical technique application increased theactivity and learning outcomes of students in XII IPA 1 of SMAN 1Lasem.Keywords: Activity Learning, Learning Outcomes, PROTIBING(Guided Creative Process), Technique Musical.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi IndoleAcetid Acid (IAA) terhadap pertumbuhan tunas pisang Barangan (Musaacuminate L. triploid AAA.) serta konsentrasi yang optimum dalam kultur invitro. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Benih Holtikultura (KBH) KecamatanSalaman, Magelang. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama enam minggu, dimulaiMaret-April 2014. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL)dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan yaitu perlakuan 1 (BP1) menggunakan0 ppm IAA, pelakuan 2 (BP2) menggunakan 0,1 ppm IAA, perlakuan 3 (BP3)menggunakan 0,3 ppm IAA, dan perlakuan 4 (BP4) menggunakan 0,6 ppm.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan(UJGD). Hasil Analisis Varians menunjukkan konsentrasi paling optimal untukmeningkatkan jumlah anakan tunas 0,3 ppm IAA dan 0,6 ppm untukmeningkatkan jumlah akar, panjang daun, serta panjang batang semu.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu variasi konsentrasi Indole Acetic Acid(IAA) secara umum tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan pisang Barangan (Musa acuminata L. triploid AAA), meskipun terdapat satuparameter yang berpengaruh nyata, yaitu jumlah anakan tunas pisangBarangan.Kata kunci : Indole Acetic acid (IAA), kultur in vitro, pisang Barangan.

Abstract

Study of the effect of several concentrations of plant growth regulator (Sa-kawa) on seed germination and seedling growth of lerak (Sapindus rarak D.C ) on compost media was carried out in the Plant and Animal Germplasm Garden of Cibinong. The objective of this study was to know optimum concentration of plant growth regulator on growth of lerak This study was arranged by using randomized complete design (RCD) with 3 (three) replications. The treatments of concentrations variation of plant growth regulator i.e.?é?á 0 (control), 1, 2 and 3 ml/l were used. Each treatment consists of 5 samples (individuals).. The results showed that?é?á the good concentration to the growth parameter?é?á such as growth percentage, plant height, total leaves, root length and total root were 2 ml of Sakawa in?é?á 1ml/l (one liter of water). Abstract

This study aims to investigate: the influence of the number of participants crop (soy-bean), the influence of Rhizobium sp dosage, interactions influence the number of participants crop (soybean) and Rhizobium sp dose to the total wet weight and num-ber of tiller Pennisetum purpureum, the planting of grass-soybean intercropping Rhi-zobium sp inoculation. The research method uses randomized full factorial (factorial RCBD) with 2 factors and 3 replications. Parameters to be measured is the total wet weight and number of tiller Pennisetum purpureum. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of vari-ance, followed by Duncan multiple range test and multiple linear regression ana-lysis. The results showed that treatment of soybean plants participant, dose Rhizobium sp, and participant interaction with defoliation of soybean Rhizobium doses of 1 and 2 did not significantly affect the total wet weight and number of tiller Pennisetum pur-pureum. However, in the second defoliation, Rhizobium dose significantly influence the total wet weight of Pennisetum purpureum. The conclusion is, cropping the grass-soybean intercropping with inoculation of Rhi-zobium sp can not be used to increase the total wet weight and number of grass tiller.Key words: Pennisetum purpureum, wet weight, tiller, Rhizobium sp, soybeans.

Abstract

BROILER PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION OF PERCENTAGE OF HERBAL SUPPLEMENTATION THROUGH AND CARCASS BLOOD TRIGLYCERIDE LEVELS ?é?á ABSTRACT People appreciate meat products free antibiotics or organic food products. Prevention of chemical substance in the broiler chicken meat can be done by mixing feed ingredients with herbal, with the addition of herbal powders like turmeric, ginger, and?é?á basil. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of herbal supplementation on carcass percentage and blood triglyceride levels?é?á broiler. his research uses three kinds of herbs that is turmeric (P1), Basil (P2), and Ginger (P3). There are four treatment including control (P4), with four replicates. The design of this research is complete a draft random. The research results were analyzed with Anova test followed by Duncan test. The results showed there was a very real influence due to the addition of herbs to the percentage of carcass?é?á (P<0,01). The levels of triglyceride of blood a broiler indicating the result is no different real (P>0,05). Key words: Carcass, Blood Triglycerudes, Herbal Supplementation, Broiler. ?é?á ABSTRAK Masyarakat semakin memperhatikan produk daging yang bebas antibiotik atau produk makanan organik. Pencegahan penumpukan zat kimia dalam daging ayam broiler tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan pencampuran pakan dengan bahan-bahan herbal atau alami, yaitu dengan penambahan serbuk herbal seperti kunyit, jahe, dan kemangi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi herbal terhadap persentase karkas dan kadar trigliserida darah ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga macam herbal yaitu kunyit (P1), kemangi (P2), dan jahe (P3). Ada empat perlakuan termasuk kontrol (P4), dengan empat ulangan.?é?á Rancangan penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Anova, dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang sangat nyata pemberian herbal terhadap persentase karkas (p<0,01). Paramater kadar trigliserida darah menunjukkan hasil tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui content knowledge gurubiologi dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran materi virus olehguru di salah satu Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) di Kota Semarang. Datadiperoleh dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dandokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahdeskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui Content Knowledge guru biologi dandeskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa content knowledge guru biologi materi virusmeliputi aspek kesesuaian materi sudah sesuai dengan Silabus, KD(Kompetensi Dasar), indikator materi, dan tujuan pembelajaran; aspekkeluasan dan kedalaman materi virus terdiri dari pengertian virus, ciri-cirivirus dan klasifikasi virus, cara hidup virus, reproduksi virus, peranan virus,penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus sampai pencegahan virus yang sudahsesuai dengan RPP, buku biologi sebagai sumber belajar yang merujuk padabuku Campbell sebagai referensi pembelajaran; aspek pengembangan materiguru terlihat dalam bentuk buku biologi yang digunakan, mediapembelajaran, internet sebagai sumber belajar dan seminar atau workshopyang diikuti untuk mengetahui perkembangan biologi khususnya materi virus.Hasil belajar kognitif siswa materi virus menunjukkan 100% siswa tuntasbelajar.Kata kunci : content knowledge guru biologi, hasil belajar kognitifsiswa.
