Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine the influence of principal’s democratic leadership style towards work motivation teacher (2) to determine the influence of academic supervision towards work motivation teacher (3) to determine the influence of principal’s democratic leadership style and principal’s supervision academic towards work motivation of  private MTs’s teacher in sub-district Margoyoso Pati Regency.The population in this research are all teachers of private MTs in sub-district Margoyoso Pati Regency they are  186 peoples, with a sample of 110 peoples by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection method were used a questionnaire. The analysis of the data was used  descriptive analysis, test requirements and test hypotheses include simple linear regression used SPSS for Window.The results of this research is  the average acquisition score of work motivation of  teacher 134,51  categorized  medium category, the average acquisition score of principal’s democratic leadership style 110,35 categorized  democratic enough category, and the average acquisition score of principal’s supervision academic 114,26 categorized  good enough category. The test results of the research data are obtained prerequisite normal distribution of data, homogeneous, linear, and not multikolinier. The hypothesis tests are found: (1) there is a positive influence principal’s democratic leadership style to work motivation of  teacher that is expressed by the equation Y = –2,783 + 1,244X1; the strength of correlation is 0,808 with a contribution about 0,653 or 65,3%, (2) there is a positive influence in principal’s supervision academic to work motivation of  teacher that is expressed by the equation Y = –2,292 + 1,197X2; the strength of correlation is 0,809 with a contribution about 0,654 or 65,4% and  (3) there is a positive influence on principal’s democratic leadership style and principal’s supervision academic together towards work motivation of  teacher expressed by the equation Y = –15,376 + 0,680X1 + 0,658X2; the strength of correlation is 0,846 with a contribution about 0,716 or 71,6%.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada peneltian ini adalah motivasikerja,  iklim sekolah dan komitmen kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Semarang Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk : (1)  mengetahui  pengaruh  motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen kerja guru (2) mengetahui  pengaruh  iklim sekolah terhadap komitmen kerja guru (3) mengetahui  pengaruh  motivasi kerja dan iklim sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap komitmen kerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri se- Kecamatan Semarang Timur.Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kecamatan Semarang timur yang berjumlah 162 guru dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 110 orang yang diperoleh secara acak dengan teknik dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji persyaratan serta uji hipotesis yang meliputi analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda, dengan menggunakan program SPSS for Window Release 17.Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata perolehan skor motivasi kerja sebesar 107,03 termasuk kategori sedang; rata-rata perolehan iklim sekolah sebesar sebesar 96,47 termasuk kategori sedang; rata-rata komitmen kerja sebesar sebesar 97,51 termasuk kategori sedang.  Hasil uji prasyarat dari data penelitian diperoleh data berdistribusi normal, linier dan tidak multikolinier. (1) Hasil uji hipotesis ditemukan terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen kerja yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Ŷ = 25,791 + 0,642 X1;  kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,660 dengan kontribusi sebesar 43,6%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif iklim sekolah terhadap komitmen kerja yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Ŷ = 27,747 + 0,689 X2; kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,797 dengan kontribusi sebesar 63,6 %. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerja dan iklim sekolah terhadap komitmen kerja yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Ŷ = 9,035 + 0,312 X1 + 0,538 X2;  kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,842 dengan kontribusi sebesar 70,8%.

Abstract

Abstract. Academic supervision results in 2010 of the teachers shows that teachers have teaching preparation of 58.68%, and profile of teachers with good performance is 47.50%. This occurs since teacher's attention only to the subject matter, and less to students. The results show that the first cycle of academic supervision for class XI a biology teachers for class XI IA 1 = 87, for class XI IA2 = 85, for class IX IA3 = 80, test results of students' learning, for class XI IA1 average value class = 83, exhaustiveness learn = 95%; for class XI IA2 average value class = 73, exhaustiveness learn= 73%; for class XI IA 3 average value class = 80, exhaustiveness learn = 76%. The results in an increase in cycle 2 shows the results for the academic supervision of a biology teacher in class XI IA 1 = 100, teachers in class XI IA 2 = 95 teachers in class XI IA 3 = 90, test results of students' class XI IA I average value class = 85, exhaustiveness learn = 100%, the test results of students 'class XI IA2 average value class = 75, exhaustiveness learn = 85, test results of students' class XI IA 3 average value = 83, exhaustiveness learn = 87 . Concluded that through coaching principals to teachers' lesson plans,increasing teachers' ability to prepare lesson plans, able to organize a class to be consistent, with an active discussion of creative students who have an impact on teachers' ability to increase the interest, creativity, and student achievement.Abstrak. Hasil Supervisi Akademik pada tahun 2010 terhadap para gurumenunjukan bahwa guru memiliki perangkat mengajar dengan 58,68%, dan pada proses pembelajaran di kelas prosentase profil kinerja guru yang baik 47,50%.Hal ini terjadi oleh perhatian guru hanya pada materi pelajaran, dan kurang memberdayakan siswa. Hasil penelitian siklus 1 menunjukkan bahwa nilai supervisi akademik untuk guru biologi kelas XI IA 1 = 87, guru biologi kelas IX IA2 = 85 dan guru biologi kelas IX IA 3 = 80, tes hasil belajar siswa, untuk kelas XI IA1 nilai rata-rata kelas = 83, ketuntasan belajar = 95%; untuk Kelas XI IA 2 nilai rata-ratakelas = 73, ketuntasan belajar = 73%; untuk kelas XI IA 3 nilai rata-rata kelas =80, ketuntasan belajar = 76%. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 2 menunjukkan terjadi kenaikan hasil supervisi akademik untuk guru biologi pada kelas XI IA 1 = 100, untuk guru pada kelas XI IA 2 = 95 guru pada kelas XI IA 3 = 90, tes hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IA I nilai rata-rata = 85, ketuntasan belajar siswa = 100%, tes hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IA 2 nilai rata-rata = 75, ketuntasan belajar = 85, tes hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IA 3 rata-rata = 83, ketuntasanbelajar siswa = 87. Disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembinaan kepala sekolah terhadap RPP, kemampuan guru menyusun RPP meningkat, mampu mengorganisasikan kelas dengan konsisten, dengan diskusi aktif kreatif siswa yang berdampak pada kemampuan guru meningkatkan minat, kreatifitas, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of principal leadership skill and work motivation on the teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó performance at Junior High Schools Sub-Cluster 03, Jepara. Total number of population was 364 from 13 Junior High Schools while number of the sample was 78 respondents taken proportionaly. From the result of the study, it is known that the average score of principal leadership skill is 124,29, the average score of teacher work motivation is 99,04 and the average score of teacher performance is 112,45. The results of pre-requisite test were normally distributed, homogenous, linier, non multicollinear and do not occur heteroskedacity. From the hypothesis test, it is discovered the positive influence of principal leadership skill on teacher performance which is stated by the equation Y = 82,966 + 0,590 X1, the strength of correlation is 0,499 with the 24% of contribution. There is positive influence of teacher work motivation on teacher?é?á performance which is stated by the equation Y = 83,599 + 0,734 X2, the strength of correlation 0,476 with 21,6% of contribution. There is positive influence of principal leadership skill and teacher work motivation together on teacher performance which is stated by the equation Y= 40,715 + 0,571 X1 + 0,475 X2, correlation strength 0,614 with 36% of contribution.Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru SMP Negeri di Sub Rayon 03 Kabupaten Jepara. Populasi berjumlah 364 dan jumlah sampel 78 responden dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rata-rata perolehan skor keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah 124,29, rata-rata perolehan skor motivasi kerja guru adalah 99,04 dan ratarataperolehan skor kinerja guru adalah 112,45. Hasil uji prasyarat diperoleh data berdistribusi normal, homogen, linier, tidak multikolinier dan tidak terjadi heteroskedastisitas. Dari uji hipotesis ditemukan terdapat pengaruh positif keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Y = 82,966 + 0,590 X1, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,499 dengan kontribusi sebesar 24%. Terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerja guru terhadapkinerja guru yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Y = 83,599 + 0,734 X2, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,476 dengan kontribusi sebesar 21,6%. Terdapat pengaruh positif keterampilan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secarabersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru yang dinyatakan dengan persamaan Y= 40,715+ 0,571 X1 + 0,475 X2, kekuatan korelasi sebesar 0,614 dengan kontribusi sebesar 36%.Kata-kata Kunci: kinerja guru, keterampilan kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja guru.

Abstract

The background of this research are: 1) student achievement under Criteria Complete Minimal, 2) The results of test scores of children is low, so it does not match the expectations of parents 3) School achievement is low in the academic race, 4) Not achieving the quality of schools maximum as in the vision, mission and objectives of the school that has been set.The objectives of this study are to know the complete learning management and quality management in schools, so that an upgrading in the quality of teaching and learning activities for teachers and school quality improvement of services for parents met.The results showed that: 1) Planning study completed jointly planned at the beginning of the school year at a school meeting. Extra hours of lessons, teacher consultation with headmaster and teachers plan learning activities prepared for mastery learning successfully. 2) Organizing the responsibility of headmaster with the assignment of guiding low grade and high grade guidance. 3) Learning thoroughly carried out in a systematic and planned starting from the preparation of lesson plans, learning activities, assessment, repairment and enrichment. Student involvement in the implementation of high mastery learning, and specifically the sixth grade required for implementation of the study completed two years using the zero hour of learning. 4) Monitoring by the headmaster include oversight of program implementation and supervision of organizing programs consistently. 5) The quality of school graduates performed with competence development, content standards, process standards, educators and education personnel, school facilities and infrastructure, management standards, and implementation of the assessment system.Based on the research results suggested: 1) The headmaster is able to draw up a work program of the school and the ability to provide service quality to parents, 2) Teachers can improve the quality of teaching and learning activities in the classroom and improve the quality of the use of school infrastructure

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Daniel Creative School Elementary di kota Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perencanaan kurikulum (2) pengorganisasian kurikulum, (3) pelaksanaan kurikulum, dan(4) pengawasan dan evaluasi kurikulum.  Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian di analisis secara deskriptif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulanHasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) yayasan membentuk timResearch and Development sebagai tim pembuat materikurikulum, (2) kurikulum yang digunakan oleh Daniel Creative School merujuk pada Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan, yang membedakan kurikulum yang digunakan diadaptasi dalam bahasa Inggris, (3) guru sebagai komponen penting dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum berusaha berpikir kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar dan memenuhi tujuan kurikulum, dan (4) guru memiliki metode yang berbeda dalam mengevaluasi hasil belajar siswa sesuai dengan kemampuan dan perkembangan siswa.Beberapa saran yang sebaiknya dilakukan oleh sekolah yaitu: (1) guru sebagai komponen utama dalam pencapaian kurikulum hendaknya membuat rencana pembelajaran dan mengembangkan materi yang ada sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai, (2) kepala sekolah membagi tugas mengajar sesuai dengan kemampuan guru sehingga proses belajar mengajar berjalan dengan maksimal, dan (3) melakukan supervisi secara teratur.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher professionalism, (2) to analyze the influence of the principal's influence on the professionalism of the teacher, (3) to analyze the influence of the work climate on professionalism, compensation and work climate together towards the professionalism of teachers.The study was conducted in thirty-seven elementary schools in Slawi sub-district with a population of 439 people and a sample of 82 people. Samples were taken randomly proportionately. Data collection in this study used the questionnaire as an instrument. Test of validity and reliability, test of normality and linearity, test of simple linear regression and multiple regression used facility program SPSS for Windows 21.0.The result of the research shows that: (1) there is influence of principal leadership toward teacher professionalism is 67,9% (2) there is influence of compensation to teacher professionalism equal to 61,8% (3) the working climate on professionalism of teachers is 71.8% (4) there is influence of principal leadership, compensation, and work climate together toward professionalism of teachers in SD Negeri in Slawi District of Tegal Regency is 69,3%.Suggested suggestions for improving teacher professionalism through continuous learning. In addition, for certified teachers to always improve their professionalism by following up to higher education, training, training, workshops, seminars or active in MGMP activities.

Abstract

Abstract. Local autonomy in the education sector has been implemented for more than ten years; however, the results have not been satisfactory yet and have even created various problems, including in Semarang City. The objective of this research is to obtain the implementation model of the educational policy of Semarang City in the local autonomy era. This research uses the research and development approach. The research results show that the appropriate implementation model of the educational policy of Semarang City in the local autonomy era is the one which applies the interactive and participative principles, management functions and good governance. The decision making and the accomplishment of the educational policy should be done through the interactions among the decision makers, the decision implementers and the decision users so that all parties can give inputs and evaluation. The implementation of the policy is accomplished by applying the management functions especially organizing, actuating and controlling as well as applying the principle of good governance, i.e. transparency, accountability, fairness and responsiveness.Abstrak. Otonomi daerah bidang pendidikan telah lebih sepuluh tahun dilaksanakan; namun hasilnya belum menggembirakan, bahkan memunculkan berbagai masalah baru, termasuk di kota Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan model implementasi kebijakan pendidikan kota Semarang pada era otonomi daerah. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah:?é?á bahwa model implementasi kebijakan pendidikan kota Semarang pada era otonomi daerah yang sesuai adalah model implementasi kebijakan pendidikan yang menerapkan prinsip interaktif, partisipatif, fungsi manajemen dan good governance. Penetapan kebijakan pelaksana dilakukan dengan?é?á interaksi antara penentu kebijakan, pelaksana kebijakan dan pengguna kebijakan, sehingga para pihak dapat memberikan masukan dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan kebijakan dilakukan dengan?é?á menerapkan fungsi manajemen khususnya organizing, actuating, controlling, dan menerapkan prinsip good goverenance yaitu transparansi, akuntabilitas, fairnes dan responsivitas.Key words: Interactive, participative, management, good goverenance.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the major themes in educational effectivenessresearch is about school capacity building. This study investigates the implementation of the International Standard School (SBI) policy in Indonesia which can be seen as an effort of school capacity building improvement in the particular country. Using program coherence dimension from capacity building framework, a qualitative study conducted in a secondary school that located in a small city in West Java, Indonesia, that involved in the program. It is found that the interpretation to the SBI policy was changing, which established international standard classrooms is the salient aspect of the implementation of the policy. It is discovered that become an SBI school has positive consequence with regard to acknowledgment its quality by the central government, besides the school can collect extra fund from parents with amount nearly ten times that received from the central government. Document analysis reveals the school difficulties to reach ?óÔé¼?£international requirements?óÔé¼Ôäó with particular to master in English by its teachers.Abstrak.Salah satu tema utama dalam penelitian tentang sekolah unggul adalah tentang pembangunan kapasitas sekolah. Makalah ini mengkaji penerapan Sekolah Berstandar Internasional (SBI), suatu kebijakan sekolah unggul di Indonesia yang dapat dilihat sebagai upaya peningkatan kapasitas sekolah.Dengan menggunakan dimensi koherensi program dalam konteks pengembangan kapasitas sekolah, studi kualitatif ini dilakukan di sekolah menengah yang terletak di sebuah kota kecil di Jawa Barat, Indonesia yang terlibat dalam program ini. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa interpretasi terhadap kebijakan sekolah unggul dalam konteks SBI mengalami perubahan di konteks sekolah, yang paling nyata adalah munculnya kelas standar internasional sebagai implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Hal lain adalah kebijakan inimembuat pihak sekolah mendapat pengakuan kualitas oleh pemerintah pusat sebagai sekolah unggul, dan saat yang bersamaan pihak sekolah dapat mengumpulkan danatambahan dari orang tua dengan jumlah yang besar. Analisis dokumen sekolah mengungkapkan kesulitan sekolah untuk mencapai 'persyaratan internasional' seperti penguasaan bahasa Inggris oleh guru.Kata-kata Kunci: Perkembangan pendidikan Indonesia, sekolah unggul, sekolah standar nasional, peningkatan kapasitas sekolah, sekolah menengah negeri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine the significance of the influence of pedagogical competence of teachers on the performance of teachers of SD/MI in the UPP District of Petarukan Pemalang, (2) to determine whether there is influence of teacher certification on teacher performance SD/MI in the region UPP District of Petarukan Pemalang, (3) to determine whether there is the influence of pedagogical competence of teachers and certified teachers on teacher performance SD/MI in the territory of the District UPP Petarukan Pemalang.The population in this study were all teachers SD/MI in District Petarukan Pemalang already qualified certification as 313 people. After the calculated obtained sample of 175 people by using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection methods used were questionnaires / questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis, test requirements and test hypotheses include simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis and test of determination (R2).Hypothesis test results show that: 1) there is a significant and positive influence Pedagogic Competence (X1) on the Performance of Teachers (Y) SD/ MI in the territory of the District UPP Petarukan Pemalang. This is evident from the test results of t test partial values obtained tcount amounted to 4.635 greater than ttable 1.974 (4.635 > 1.974), 2) there is a positive influence and significant Teacher Certification (X2) on Teacher Performance SD/MI in the UPP District of Petarukan Pemalang. This is evident from the test results of t test partial obtained tcount amounted to 4.617 greater than ttable 1.974 (4.617> 1.974), and 3) there is a positive influence and significant Competence Pedagogy (X1) and the Teacher Certification (X2) the performance of teachers (Y) SD / MI in the territory of the District UPP Petarukan Pemalang. This is evident from the results of hypothesis testing simultaneous F test values obtained Fhitung 10.720 3.0485 greater than F table (10.720> 3.0485).
