Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence between dividend policy and capital structure on company value at the manufacturing company listed in BEI period 2016. The method in this research is a quantitative method with descriptive statistical analysis. The data analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. Sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling. The affordable population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the sample used on Isaac Michael's table was 44 companies. Test requirements analysis is done by looking for regression equation that yield Y = 1,367 + 0,163X1 + 12,236X2. The results of the analysis show: (i) there is a significant positive influence between dividend policy and firm value, (ii) there is a significant positive influence between capital structure and firm value, (iii) there is significant relation between dividend policy and capital structure to firm value. Based on the results of the analysis, the dividend policy and capital structure can be a measure of corporate value. The implication of this research explains that dividend policy and capital structure can be used as the basis of the investor's consideration before investing in a company.

Abstract

Wedding Organizer Business still needs human resources in carrying out its activities, therefore it is necessary to study how the influence of Organizational Compensation and Commitment which is owned by employees. This study had a population of 101 using the census method and 101 people who became respondents through the distribution of questionnaires were conducted on Sakinah Wedding Organizer employees. The effect of Compensation on Work Discipline through Job Satisfaction has positive and significant results, and the influence of Organizational Commitment to Work Discipline through Job Satisfaction has positive and significant results. Compensation is expected to be able to increase salaries and wages of employees properly so that employees feel satisfied and will be more disciplined in carrying out tasks. Organizational Commitment of employees is expected to have more attitude towards the company to make a good contribution to advance the company. Work Discipline Employees are expected to be able to comply with company regulations, including carrying out the tasks assigned by the provisions to be completed on time. Job Satisfaction Employees are expected to be able to conduct supervision and employee relations with superiors to create a good work environment.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to find empirical evidence by knowing: (1) The effect of Social Media Instagram towards Donating Behavior at Kitabisa platform, (2) The effect of Social Media Instagram towards Donating Behavior at Kitabisa platform with Influencer's Credibility as a moderating variable, and (3) The effect of Individual Motivation towards Donating Behavior at Kitabisa platform. It's causal research with 225 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The regression analysis program (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) is used to measure the relationship between variables. The results showed that there was a significant effect between Social Media Instagram and Individual Motivation towards Donating Behavior, and the addition of Influencer’s Credibility as moderating variable between Social Media Instagram and Donating Behavior showed an increased value, up to 3.8%.

Abstract

The research aims to obtain valid, factual information and knowledge about how the influence between transparency and accountability towards participation in Vocational School in Jakarta, Indonesia. The population of this research is the principal, teachers, student's parents. The technical analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this study are: 1) there is a positive effect between transparency and the participation of students' parents. 2) There is a positive effect between accountability with the participation of student's parents and 3) there is a positive effect between transparency and accountability towards the participation of student's parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation between locus of control and self-concept with learning achievement in students at SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta for 6 months, starting from January to June 2018. The method used was a survey method with a correlational approach. This study uses a population of all class XI students at SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. The sampling technique is a simple random technique with 127 students. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion it is known partially that there is a positive and significant relationship between locus of control and student achievement, there is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and student achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between culture organization and work motivation with the employee performance of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah in Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach, population used are all employee in Badan Kepegawaian Daerah DKI Jakarta. The sampling technique used technique of purposive sampling as many as 100 people. Based on the result of analysis and discussion, it is known that there is positive and significant correlation between culture organization and employee performance, there is positive and significant correlation between work motivation and employee performance, and also there is positive and significant correlation between culture organization and work motivation with employee performance of Badan Kepegawaian Daerah in Jakarta. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Fiscal Decentralization, Government Expenditure on Education, the GDRP per capita, a ratio of students per teacher and the Gross Participation Rate on Senior High School in Indonesia. The type of data using secondary data on local revenues, total revenues, the ratio of government expenditure on education to total government expenditure, the number of students, number of teachers, and the gross participation rate. Data were analyzed using panel data regression analysis. The results showed that government expenditure on education, the ratio of students per teacher and the number of teachers has a significant positive effect on secondary school gross participation rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of workload on job satisfaction and job stress well on employee performance. Staff from East Jakarta Integrated Services Implementation Unit, 65 respondents were sampled. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hypothesis testing results show positive and insignificant workload on performance, the positive and significant workload on work stress, negative and significant work stress on performance, positive and significant job satisfaction on performance, the positive and significant workload on job satisfaction. This study shows an important influence on research on job satisfaction and job stress; this also shows that job satisfaction and job stress function as intervening variables between workload and employee performance. The findings of this study prove that the workload needs to be indirect to employee performance through job satisfaction and better work pressure. The next researcher can study deeper by using other media and similar objects.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs and the use of learning resources by lecturers in the Economic Theory and Policy course since it has been investigated that the majority of students have low learning motivation. The learning motivation itself on the other side can be improved when the learning resource meets the students' needs. 30 students of the Economic Education Magister Program of Riau University were selected as subjects of this explorative research. Data was collected using a questionnaire to be analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using tables and graphs. Findings show that: (1) Some learning resources are frequently used for most of the students by lecturers in their lecture (lecturers’ explanations in class, group discussions), digital books, and powerpoint slides by the aid of high-performance computer; (2) Some learning resources are preferred by most students; yet have not been used by the lecturers namely: digital clippings, exercises, and interactive quizzes; (3) Services provided by the institution, namely: internet/wi-fi facility, convenient and complete facilities of the library; comfortable classrooms, and beautiful parks surrounding the learning area, have to be better improved to perfection; and (4) Some obstacles are met by students during their lecturers, namely: abundant amount of material, fast explanation by lecturers, unreliable internet facility, uncomfortable classrooms, and lack of lecturers' feedback upon assignment. In an attempt to meet the students' needs, a learning strategy is required particularly for utilizing such learning resources as digital books, clippings, and powerpoint slides either offline or online.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the Technological Pendagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) economics teacher of high schools in Lampung Province. The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to economics teachers. The questionnaire consisted of 31 items and 7 subdomains. The seven subdomains are Technological Knowledge (TK), Pendagogical Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK), Technological Pendagogical Knowledge (TPK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), Pendagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) and Technological Pendagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK) . The subjects of this study were 33 teachers chosen at random. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results showed that kindergarten teachers of economics at Public High Schools in Lampung Province included in the moderate category (M = 5.37), moderate PK (M = 5.62), moderate CK (M = 5.43), moderate TPK (M = 5.65), moderate TCK (M = 5.66), moderate PCK (M = 5.69) and good TPCK (M = 5.42). The overall economic teacher TPCK is moderate (M = 5.54). The results show that economics teachers at SMA Negeri Sekolah in Lampung Province can apply their technological knowledge in economic learning.
