Abstract

Abstract Farmer Participation in Developing Farm Forestry Program in Talang Gunung Backwoods Talang Batu Village East Mesuji Subdistrict Mesuji Regency Lampung Province The farm forestry is one of strategies which developed as the implementation from forestry paradigm development. Farm forestry has appeared as an alternative model for problem solving which caused by increasingly number of trees that lost from forests in the world and decreasing forest in developing countries. The purpose of this research is knowing about farmers’ participation in farm forestry program development in Talang Gunung Backwoods Talang Batu Village. This research has used qualitative descriptive analysis method. The variable in this research is participation. Based on the result of the research shows that farmers’ participation in farm forestry program development in Talang Gunung Backwoods Talang Batu Village was moderate with score achieving is 58, 97% from maximum score. This is caused by type of physical participation or nonphysical participation in some activities have only done by a few respondents. The advices which related to this research can be given by writer to farm forestrys sustainable in Talang Gunung Backwoods that is expected farmers to increase their participation in farm forestry development program in a physical participation and nonphysical participation. Abstract

Abstract The Impact of Land Conversion Paddy Farmer Owners To Home Life (A Case Study in Subak Lange, in the Area South Pemecutan Village, West Denpasar District) The Land Conversion Paddy Farmer Owners To Home Life have an impact on the decline in agricultural production and will have an impact on changes in the orientation of economic, social, cultural, political, and community. Increasing land use for shelter, a place to do business, the fulfillment of public access and other amenities that will lead to the available land so that the land was converted narrowing. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of conversion land use on the lives of farmers. How the lives of the farmers after selling his farm land. This study using in-depth interview technique. This study using variables and indicators in the three states of culture, namely: mindset, social systems, and artifacts or objects. Subak Lange is in the Pemecutan Village, West Denpasar District. Subak Lange is a located in the area South Pemecutan Village. West Denpasar Ditstrict. This study was conducted by purposive, there are some reason for location selection. The result of the study showed that land conversion have an impact on a better life than before, and some result showed there is also a feeling of life is not better after seling their farm land. This can be measured   in three states, namely culture mindset, social systems, and artifacts or objects. The purpose of selling his farm land because farmers used to open a business, health cost, home renovation cost, religious ceremonies, and used to dissipate. The reasons to sell farm land due to high taxes and harvest is uncertain. The feeling after selling the farm land, some farmer are happy anda some farmer feels regret. The interaction of the public prominence and families, some are good and some are not good or there is also have a conflict. The farmer’s income after selling their farm land more better than be a farmer by profession before. It needs good preparation from the farmers to the use of proceeds from the sale of rice fields used for working capital that is useful to farmers a better life because of farm land are sold out.

Abstract

Analysis of Albesia Seed Pathership Pattern Between CV Flora Bali in Karangasem Regency with UD Tunas Jaya in Klungkung Regency Cultivation of forest crops can involve various parties, among others, business entities, government, non-governmental organizations and private parties One of the private parties who market forest tree seeds is UD Tunas Jaya. Business partnership relationship between UD Tunas Jaya with CV. Flora Bali in its journey there has been no further analysis of the mechanism of partnership and what benefits have been obtained. This study aims to determine the pattern of partnership business seeds of forest plants between CV. Flora Bali with UD.Tunas Jaya in Pempatan Village, Rendang Sub-district, Karangasem Regency. This research is descriptive conducted at CV Flora Bali and Tunas Jaya by collecting data through in-depth interview and observation. Quantitative data analysis is done by using analysis of farming. The result of the research shows the partnership pattern that has been done between CV Flora Bali and UD Tunas Jaya in the form of Subcontract which is the pattern of partnership relationship between the business partner company that is UD Tunas Jaya with the business partner that produces the seed of forest plant that is CV Flora Bali. The distinctive feature of this subcontract partnership form is to make a joint contract that includes volume, price and time. CV Flora Bali with UD Tunas Jaya in the subcontract partnership pattern is the increase of productivity, labor efficiency and time, the seeds produced in the quality, quantity, and continuity are acceptable to the consumer, social relationships, and increase the income and welfare for the perpetrator Partnership.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Marketing Mix of Crayfish on Agro Crayfish Farmers Group in Denpasar The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the marketing mix of crayfish, the obstacles faced, and the strategies in the implementation. This research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the result of research on Agro Crayfish Farmers Group found that the application of the marketing mix in terms of products which is products marketed crayfish includes crayfish for consumption, breeding and nursery transplant. Pricing method is a fixed price. Distribution is defined direct and indirect distribution. The promotion is done by personal selling. The obstacle in product is that many crayfish dies due to cannibalism which could be resolved by feeding regularly. The obstacle in price is when the feed price goes up while the company can’t raise the determined price, and to cope with it the company has to get the consumers understanding. The obstacle in distribution is that during delivery there are some crayfish without claws or even dead, and to resolve it the company needs to limit the amount of crayfish per box. The obstacle in promotion is that the promotion done to market the product is not yet maximum, and to overcome it the promotion should be adjusted to the targeted market. Abstract

The Behavior of Farmers on Rice Cluster Development Program AssistedInonesian Bank (Case of Subak Pulagan, Tampaksiring Village, TampaksiringDistrict, Gianyar Regency)Bank Indonesia has been mentoring and coaching in the pass program developmentreal sector and UMKM. The purpose of this study to knowledge, attitudes, and skillof farmers on rice cluster development program assisted Indonesian Bank. This study took place in Subak Pulagan with the number of respondents 48 people. Methods ofdata collection by interview and analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed the behavior of farmers on rice cluster development program is inexcellent condition with a score of 85,1%. It can be seen from the three indicators. Excellent knowledge indicators category with a score of 84,4%, a very good attitudeindicator categories premises a score of 84,7%, and very good indicator oh the skillcategory with a score of 86,2%.Advice which may be recommended that the diversification of products is not good,it can be suggested that extension is to provide an understanding of the impotance ofdiversification benefits of products to enhance the competitiveness and obtaineconomic value higher.

Abstract

Abstract Profile of Labour Coconut Shell Handicraft Industry by Eka Lestari Mandiri Company in Abang Village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency This study aimed to determine the profile of the workforce in coconut shell crafts industry Eka Lestari Mandiri viewed from the aspect of demography, economic aspects, technical aspects, reason for working as a craftsman and barriers to work. The method used is the method of direct interviews with 30 respondents were chosen deliberately. The analysis used is descriptive analysis. The results show is based on the characteristics of demography, most artisans are in the productive age group were entirely female with marital status 50% were married on average have a dependent child as much as a child. Education level only finished elementary school. Based on the characteristics of the economic aspect, there is a wage level of the smallest wage of Rp. 1,000.00 per unit and the total of Rp. 100,000.00 per unit with an average working hours from 3.0 hours to 5.1 hours per day in which the work as a craftsman is a side job has been working for more than five years. Based on the characteristics of the technical aspects, raw material preparation requires a total time of 45 minutes, on average the manufacture of products takes 15 minutes to 16 hours to finish takes a total of 45 minutes. The main reason respondents worked as craftsmen coconut seen from an internal factor is to fill the spare time while external factors are the work can be done at home craftsmen. Barriers experienced by respondents of students present in the manufacture of technical products and for the respondents craft housewife for religious activities led to a reduced pengerjaaan products that have an impact on the income of the respondents. Abstract

Leading Sector and Transformation of Economic in Badung Regency The development of tourism in Badung regency is rapidly causing inequality of regional development between north and south and the imbalance of development between economic sectors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basic sectors and economic structure in Badung Regency. This study uses secondary data in the form of data of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), growth rate, and data of working population. Data collection methods used were documentation studies and analyzed using location quotient, dynamic location quotient, total shift share, and shift share. The results of analysis showed that the basis sectors in economic structure of Badung Regency is water supply, waste, and recycling sector, construction sector, transportation and warehousing sector, accommodation and feeding supply sector, and information and communications. The agricultural sub-sector has three sub-sub-sectors that are able to become the basis sub-subsector in the future are food crop sub-sub-sectors, horticultural crops sub-subsector, and fishery sub-sector. Two factors causing the change of agriculture, forestry and fishery sub-sector positions in the economic structure of Badung Regency, namely economic structure and location factor. The economic structure of Badung Regency is transformed from agriculture to services, especially tourism services, followed by shifts in labor absorption.

Abstract

Analysis of Consumer Preference on Imported Citrus Fruit and Local Citrus Fruitin Denpasar, Bali. This study aims to determine consumer preferences in buying citrus fruits in DenpasarCity, and to find out the attributes of citrus fruits that are most dominantly chosen byconsumers in purchasing decisions. The location of this research was conducted in PasarBadung, Sanglah Market, Ketapian Market, and Pasar Kreneng which were determinedpurposively. Data collection method by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Thepopulation in this study are consumers of fruit buyers who have at least consumed andbought citrus fruits. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people conducted byaccidental sampling method. The results in this study indicate respondents' preference inbuying citrus fruits, as many as 35 (70%) people choose local oranges and 15 (30%)people choose imported oranges. In determining their preferences there are severalindicators that influence respondents to choose the type of citrus fruit. Of the sevenindicators namely taste, color, fruit size, price, personal taste, income level andavailability continuity that most influence the respondents to choose the type of citrusthat is preferred is the good fruit taste from respondents who choose local oranges andimported oranges. The fruit flavor indicator has the largest percentage of 71.42% forlocal oranges and 86.66% for imported oranges. The most dominant attribute chosen byconsumers in buying local citrus fruits and imported oranges is the attribute of fruitflavor. Where the attributes of taste are the main consideration of respondents in buyingcitrus fruit compared to other attributes such as color, shape, cleanliness, size, price, texture, and freshness of fruit.

Abstract

Abstract Effect of Foreign Investment Investment (FDI) and Domestic Investment (DCI) to GDP Agriculture in the province of Bali Economic development is a series of effort to improve living standards and create a more equitable income among the various communities, the Province of Bali as one of the good economic development to be studied. Issues examined in this study was aimed to determine the factors that influence the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) in the province of Bali and the influence of foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic investment (DI) to GDP of agriculture sector in the province of Bali. The analysis method used in this research is double regression or econometric test multiple linear regression using SPSS 22. By converting the original data into a LOG the results showed that foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic investment (DCI affect the sector GDP agriculture in the province of Bali, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 71.3 percent, so the percentage contribution of the influence of the independent variables (domestic and foreign) to the dependent variable (GDP) amounted to 71.3 percent. Variations of the independent variables used in the model (DCI and PMA) were able to explain 71.3 percent of the variation of the dependent variable (GDP).
