Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in psychological violence against early childhood in terms of family type. The violence that often occurs in early childhood is psychological violence. The perpetrators of violence against children are usually the closest people to the child, namely the family. In the child?s environment, children only know their families in 2 types of families; they are the nuclear family and extended family. This causes the forms of psychological violence against early childhood between the type of the nuclear family and large family to have differences. The formulation of the problem in this study is that there are differences in psychological violence against early childhood in terms of family type. The hypothesis of this study is that there are differences in psychological violence against early childhood living together with nuclear families and early childhood living together with extended families. This research is quantitative comparative research with research subjects of children aged 4-6 years. This research is conducted at TK (Kindergarten) Nurul Ulum and TK Sunan Muria in Welahan Village, Jepara Regency with 96 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study use the Psychic Hardness Scale for Early Childhood, with analysis using the Independent Sample t-Test method. The results of the study calculations using the Independent Sample t-Test get the value of tcount < ttable (-12.7786 < 1.985) and the value of sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), so there are differences in psychological violence towards early childhood in terms of family type. Based on the results of the study, psychological violence against early childhood who are living together with the nuclear family is higher compared to early childhood who lived with extended families.

Abstract

The ability to interact socially is one aspect of the characteristics of growth and development. The inhibition of the self-adjustment process can interfere with the child?s social interaction process. Social interactions that do not meet social expectations will endanger social acceptance by the group. This will eliminate the opportunity for children to learn socially. The absence of adjustments between parties who interact also makes the process of social interaction disrupted and can be stopped. This study aims to determine the effect of the adjustment on the social interaction of children in TK Pertiwi 2 Serang. This research is quantitative with the method of Simple Linear Regression Analysis. The population of the study is all children aged 4-5 years in Serang Village with a sample of 38 children. The sampling technique is Purposive Sample, which is the determination of samples with certain considerations. The research data are obtained through validity and reliability tests of 41 items and 0.937 for the adjustment scale and 39 items and 0.950 for the scale of social interaction. Based on the results of Simple Linear Regression analysis, a correlation value of 0.804 is obtained. It means the relationship between the variables of self-adjustment and social interaction is high. The coefficient of determination is 64.7%, rounded up to 65% positive effect, meaning that the better the child?s adjustment, the better the social interaction. While 35% are other factors that are not examined. The calculation results obtained by the regression equation Y = 21.121 + 0.765X. The equation corresponds to a simple linear regression formula, Y = a + bX, where Y is the dependent variable, a constant, b regression coefficient, and X independent variable.

Abstract

This research is done based on concerns with children?s lack of knowledge about the culture. Indonesia is a country that is rich in cultural diversity. Cultural diversity in Indonesia today is beginning to experience shock. The shock is caused by the entry of foreign culture which then dominated local culture. This study aims to determine the differences and knowledge of early childhood about cultural heritage in terms of the use of Punakawan novel graphics. This study uses quantitative research with experimental methods. The research design used is Pre-Experimental Designs. The population in this study are all students in the TK (Kindergarten) Khalifah 25 Semarang who are 5-6 years old, while the sample is 32 children aged 5-6 years who became the experimental class which are given treatment by researchers using the media graphic novel books of the clown. The data collection technique in this study uses a knowledge scale of cultural heritage. The data analysis technique uses Independent Sample t-Test. The results obtained t count> t table (11,825> 2,039) and the sig value (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted. The calculation of the percentage of cultural heritage knowledge in early childhood based on the application of novel graphic media has increased by 28% between pretest and posttest. Knowing the considerations made by parents as an effort to choose toys that are suitable for children aged 3-4 years in Kebumen Village, is the third goal of this study. The research method is qualitative research with the research subject is parents of 3-4 years old children, their children, and educators in Kebumen Village. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis methods are through the process of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification of data and conclusion. Based on the research, the results show that the parents? understanding about the purpose of the toys is as stimulation of child development. Parents? efforts consist of children?s desires/interests and discussions with children. Those efforts are carried out mostly by parents. Considerations made by parents as part of the effort to choose children?s toys are more inclined to the price of toys than the function and purpose of education that is suitable for children aged 3-4 years. In addition, the colors and materials and labels of children?s toys by most parents are not much considered.
