Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan  Chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) terhadap pemahaman konsep, peningkatan life skill, dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Semarang. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain control group pre test post test. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling menghasilkan kelas XI-IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI-IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen, pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) sedangkan pada kelas kontrol pembelajaran seperti yang biasa dilakukan guru mitra tanpa menerapkan pendekatan Chemoentrepreneurship (CEP). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, observasi, dan angket. Berdasarkan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata, diperoleh hasil kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil analisis, diperoleh koefisien korelasi biserial pemahaman konsep (rb) sebesar 0,48 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 23,04%, sedangkan life skill siswa meningkat sebesar 23% dan berdasarkan analisis deskriptif didapatkan persentase nilai keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 95,91% dengan kategori sangat baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) berpengaruh pada pemahaman konsep siswa, dapat meningkatkan life skill, dan keterampilan proses sains siswa MA Negeri 1 Semarang pada meteri larutan penyangga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan konsep larutan penyangga dengan metode investigasi sehingga dapat meminimalisasi miskonsepsi dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode investigasi terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa SMA N 2 Temanggung. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI semester 2 SMA N 2 Temanggung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling. Sebelum penelitian, sampel diberikan pretes, dilanjutkan dengan perlakuan, dan diakhiri dengan postes. Uji statistika yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, kesamaan dua varians, hipotesis, ketuntasan belajar, normalized gain, dan analisis miskonsepsi. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengetahui sikap ilmiah siswa. Rata-rata nilai postes kelas eksperimen 80,00 dan kelas kontrol 73,2. Pada uji hipotesis thitung (3,24) > ttabel (2,00) yang berarti rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kontrol. Pada analisis miskonsepsi kelas eksperimen yang semula terdapat kategori miskonsepsi tingkat 1 sebesar 0,66% menjadi 0%, dan kategori memahami dari 38% menjadi 74%. Sikap ilmiah siswa pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori baik dan rata-rata tiap aspek berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan metode investigasi dapat memberikan penguatan konsep laruatn penyangga sehingga dapat meminimalisasi miskonsepsi dan berpengaruh terhadap sikap ilmiah siswa yaitu dengan kategori baik  dengan rata-rata tiap aspek dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Abstrak Permasalahan yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum Sistem Kredit Semester di SMA Negeri 3 Semarang yaitu kurangnya waktu bagi guru untuk menjelaskan materi dalam satu semester sehingga aspek psikomotor kurang diperhatikan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini  bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan laboratorium siswa melalui penerapan metode praktis-demonstratif pada pembelajaran berbasis sistem kredit semester. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 sebanyak 29 siswa. Uji coba instrumen meliputi uji coba instrumen observasi dan uji coba instrumen angket. Reliabilitas instrumen observasi dianalisis dengan Intra-class Correlation Coefficient, reliabilitas angket dianalisis dengan cronbach alpha, dan uji validitas menggunakan korelasi bivariate Pearson. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1, aspek yang menunjukkan hasil baik adalah pembuatan laporan praktikum sementara, laporan akhir praktikum, dan angket sedangkan keterampilan laboratorium dan sikap siswa di laboratorium belum menunjukkan hasil memuaskan. Pada siklus 2 semua aspek menunjukkan peningkatan dan hasil yang baik. Pada siklus 3 terjadi peningkatan lagi dan hasil yang didapatkan semakin memuaskan. Hasil dari ketiga siklus menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode praktis demonstratif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan laboratorium siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Semarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran ARIAS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangga dan hidrolisis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 12 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik, dilengkapi dengan uji ketuntasan klasikal dan analisis deskriptif. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diukur dari hasil jawaban uraian siswa dan di analisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada siswa kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata keseluruhan penguasaan siswa tiap indikator pada kelas eksperimen 2,67 yang berarti penguasaanya cukup. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol rata-ratanya 1,47 yang berarti penguasaannya sangat rendah. Rerata keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai 70,5% dengan kategori baik sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mencapai 35,4% dengan kategori jelek. Jadi dapat disimpulkan penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 12 Semarang

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of Joyfull Learning model assisted by dox-card medium to the chemistry learning result in the subject matter of redox in class X SMAN 1 Tengaran of academic 2011/2012. This study population is the whole X classes in SMAN 1 Tengaran of academic year 2011/2012. Samples in this study were drawn with cluster random sampling technique; the samples obtained were the X-8 class as the experimental class given Joyfull Learning model assisted by chemo-edutainment dox-card medium and X-7 class as the control class given conventional model. Based on the research results, it obtains post test average score of experimental class of 83.12 and of control class in the amount of 76.18. The post test score of experimental class and control class have normal distribution and equal variants, whereas in the t test of the right party, the tcount is (2.05) > ttable (1.18) which means that the average score of the experimental class is better than the control class. The hypothesis testing using biserial correlation coefficient and determination coefficient. Based on the research results. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Joyfull Learning models assisted by dox-card medium to the students’ score of class X SMAN 1 Tengaran in redox subject matter, as indicated by the correlation coefficient () of 0.51 with 26,04% influence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research population is XI Sciences of senior high school 1 brebes 2011/2012. First data analysis showed that the population data are normally distributed and homogeneous, so the sampling technique which used is cluster random sampling. From the result of the draws, XI Science-1 as an experiment class (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based contextual Teaching and Learning) and XI Science-5 as a control class (conventional learning). Final data analysis showed that learning product both classes are normally distributed and have equal variances. In the test of correlation, obtained 0,732 of rb value, which showed a height correlation, so Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition Based Contextual Teaching and Learning has height effect on student learning product in colloids. This learning contributes to student learning product=54%. The learning product of experiment and control class had reached completeness. classical learning completeness which achieved by experiment and control class are respectively 95% and 87,5%. The average value of affective and psychomotor in experimental class is better than the control class. Based on this research, we can conclude that Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition based Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted has a positive effect on learning product in senior high school 1 brebes.

Abstract

The observations in SMA N 1 Demak show the results of student achievement still has not met with the thoroughness studied classical. This research is done to determine the effectiveness of virtual laboratory towards students' achivement about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA N 1 Demak. The population is the eleventh grade student of science. Sample was conducted by random sampling technique, obtained a XI IPA 1 as the experimental class get the learning used virtual laboratory and the XI IPA 2 as the control class get the learning used lecture method. To collect the data the writer used documentation, test, observation and questionnaires. The results of the research show that the average students' achivement in experiments class is 80.55 while the control class is 76.82. The percentage thoroughness studied classical of experiment class is 94.74% while the control class is 73.68%. On average students gave positive responses (happy) to each of the indicators contained in the questionnaires. From the analysis can be concluded that virtual laboratory is effective towards the students’ achievement about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA N 1 Demak.

Abstract

The main problem in learning today is the low of students’ understanding. It is caused by students that are not actively in learning process. On School Based Curriculum, the learning process requires students to take apart in active teaching learning. The aim of this study is to know whether using CREATESEM SETS visionary give positive effect on competence achievement related to the buffer solution and the salt hydrolysis. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Pati. Purposive sampling was used in this study and class XI-6 as an experimental class got treatment CREATESEM SETS visionary, while class XI-7 as control class got a different treatment, treated by using SETS visionary of learning. The design of this study was control group pretest posttest. The data were collected by using test method, documentation, observation, and questionnaires. The results showed a classical completeness of experimental class was 88%, meanwhile for control class was 56%. The mean value of the psychomotor aspects of the experimental class was 85% better than control class that was 82%.The mean value of the affective aspects of the experimental class students was 85% better than control class that was 83%. So, using CREATESEM SETS visionary in teaching learning had positive impact 31% on achievement of students’ competence related to the buffer solution and the salt hydrolysis

Abstract

The previous study that was conducted absolutely shown that the students of SMAN 1 Wonosari grade XI IPA have less practical ability related to the laboratorial aspects, so that material studies are surely needed in order to ease the students in practical work. The purpose of this research is to measure the influence of the usage of Buku Saku Praktikum Kimia as material studies toward scientific inquiry and generic skill in acid-basic chapter/study. The design of this research is using  pre-test  - post-test group. The method of the aggregation of data is using the documentation, test, observation, and questionnaire method. Based on the Normalized gain experiment , the result of logical inferention of  generic skill for experiment group is 51,29%  and the control group is 42,37%,  generic skill’s direct observation of experiment group is 84,73%  for the practical work I and 87,68% for the practical work II,  control group is 74,97% for the practical work I and 80,32% for the practical work II and the scientific inquiry’s result for the experiment group I is 86,82  for the practical work I and 85,32 for the practical work II. Control group is 81,80 for the practical work I and 81,23 for the practical  work II. The conclusions of this study is buku saku praktikum kimia work to develop scientific and generic skills of students in practical solution of the acid-base.

Abstract

This research is done to findout the effect of the using of active methods team quiz with question card towards the students’ achievement of the eleventh grade student about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA Muhammadiyah Wonosobo. The population is the eleventh grade students of natural science. Sample was conducted by cluster random sampling technique, obtained a XI IPA 2 as the experimental class get the learning used active method team quiz with question card and the XI IPA 3 as a control class get the learning used conventional method . To collect the data the writer used documentation, test, observation and questionnaires. The result of the research show that the chemist learning used active method team quiz with question card affects toward the students’ chemist achievement of the eleventh grade students of natural science about buffer solution and hydrolysis of SMA Muhammadiyah Wonosobo. The data analysis biserial correlation technique show coeficient correlation (rb) is 0.461, this fact show coefficient of the determination (KD) is 21.25%. From the analysis can be concluded that the using of active method team quiz with question card effect towards the students’ achievement buffer solution and hydrolysis with the contribution 21,25%.
