Abstract

The objective of this research is to increaseearly childhood’s development by using of thematic approach. This action research conducted at Nakkia Kindergarten Group B Jatiwaringin Pondok Gede. This research usedin which 15 childhood of six years old were participated. The development by Kemmis and Tegart which twocycles and each cycle has four steps. They are as follow:(1) plan, (2) action, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The action research applied to research methods they where qualitative and quantitative research, data analized by using Spradley data analysis model. The research result shows the applying thematic approach wich involved various methods, media and activities increase the development of the children of six years old especialy in motoric development: gross motor and fine motor. Futhermore, the research result can be applied to increase early childhoods development with thematic approach, mainly for learning planning, learning development for teachers, and curricullum in higher education

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding the relationship of visual and auditory perception. Between towards reading readiness of the second year student of Kindergarten.This research was conducted at the East Jakarta Kindergarten At Taqwa. The samples of the research consisted of 30 students were selected by who using simple random samplingtechnique was used at this research. The data were collected by using visual and auditory perception test and reading readiness test. The data of the study were analyzed by Applying multiple regression and correlation techniques. The Research Findings That show: there is a significant correlation between visual perception towards reading readiness of the second years of At Taqwa Kindergarten student, East Jakarta. There is asignificant correlations  between  both  visual  perception  and auditory  perception towards reading readiness of the second years student of the East Jakarta Kindergarten At Taqwa.

Abstract

This Study using experimental approach with Static Group Comparison. This study examined the difference of Javanese language skill for early childhood in Pekalongan city by singing method using Javanese songs. The sample of this study is 30 children of ABA Binagriya Kindergarten as experimental group and 30 children of ABA Bendan Kindergarten as control group. The Javanese songs was used with experimental group only. The result of the study were analized using t-test. Independent sample t test used to measure difference level of Javanese language skill. The result of Independent sample t test indicated that t count value is -6,350 and t table is 3,156. The value of –t count < -t table (-6,350 < -3,156. Abstract

Children’s social adjustment ability depends of parenting pattern. Although many parents consider social adjustment is unnecessary ability to be concerned. one of the methods to optimalize children’s social adjustmentis by playing. One of appropriate games to play is traditional Javanesse game. The game enables children to interact with his friend. The aim of this research is to investigate whether the traditional Javanesse game is able to improve children’s social adjustment in the age 4-5 years old. The method used in this study are experimental research which employed pretest and posttest control design. From the research it can beconcluded that traditional Javanese is effective to improve children’s social adjustment on the age 4 to 5 years old. The result can be inferred from the t test of the controlled and experiment group which is 5.056 with ttabelof 2.779. There are minus point in this study caused by lack of time in conducting the research related to permission to do it because the appointed school has its own programme in learning and some subjects of the study at the experiment class did not join the treatment so that the result of this study is not completely maximum.

Abstract

Spirituality is an important aspect of human life. Spiritualguidanceiseffort which focuses on helping individuals toreachtheir better life. The purpose of the study is to find out what model of spiritual guidance applied at Islamic Kindergarten (RA) Ma’arif Salatiga. This study used qualitative research as methodology and the object is curriculum at Islamic Kindergarten Ma’arif Salatiga. This study has founded that Islamic Kindergarten Ma’arif Salatiga uses tematic-integral-holistic in the learning procces to apply spiritual guidance. The researcher used descriptive qualitative method for analyzing the data. To apply this concept teachers connect all individual aspect from students based on Islam. The spiritual guidance focuses on helping individuals to be better in living and delivering welfare of their life through the understanding, applying of values, meaning the principles of life in accordance with religion and universal values. Abstract

The problems happening to school-age children have encouraged teachers’ strong efforts to overcome them. Character based education becomes one of the solutions to handle those problems. Character based education should have begun since early ages. This research investigates how to build children’s character in their early ages through the activities of learning dance art. This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The date was collected through interviews, recordings, and photo or video shooting. The reliability and the validity of the data were done by verifying and cross-checking the data. In addition, the technique of data analysis was adopted from Spradley’s (1997) steps in which the data were validated based on their credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.The findings show that character-based education for early childhood through dance art learning is effective. The learning process can inculcate the character values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, religious, patriotism, and environmental care.How to citeRakimahwati, R. (2014). Abstract

Role playing method is very effective to be used for introducing values to children. If the child is already used to determine these values then it will be easier to implement them. And if it is done in a fun way, that will be memorable for children. Teachers are constantly seeking creative new approaches in solving problems, not fixated on a certain way that is monotonous, but choose other appropriate variations. Role play is one alternative that can be taken. In this case, role play is used to apply the values of entrepreneurship to students. Under these conditions, the formulation of the problem to be studied is how the implementation of the values of creative entrepreneurship and self-reliance through role playing method in the kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative method. Reasons to use qualitative research was because the object is natural, in addition to the presentation of data using descriptions that describe the real situation. The results of this study are in the center of role play, before the event takes place, the teacher provides an explanation of the activities to be carried out. Teachers offered the role to be played to the child. Teachers also provide information on what items are to be used in the role-play activity. Then the teacher gives children the freedom to play their respective roles. Teachers record all the child's behavior. From these activities children will show their creative and self-reliant value.

Abstract

Character education will be more meaningful if carried out since early childhood. This is because early childhood education is the foundation of the character formation of children. In the implementation of early childhood character education tailored to the characteristics of each school and the emphasis of each agency arrangements for early childhood education, culture-based Java. Javanese culture needs to be introduced early on to avoid losing out to erode the culture that goes along with globalization. In addition, Java is promoting cultural etiquette and manners are very suitable for the character formation of childrens early childhood.

Abstract

Discipline in traffic is all kinds of behavior of the street user both with vehicles and without ones on the street according to the law. The teaching of it should be started as soon as possible to a child in order to obtain traffic disciplinary when a person lives in a society. The application by learning through traffic simulation is one of the ways that can be used to grow traffic disciplinary to a child aged 5-6 years old. The problem formula in this research is what are types of games applied in the learning through traffic simulation to the disciplinary of preschool students? Furthermore are there any influences of the application of such learning through traffic simulation in preschool students disciplinary? The purpose of the research is to know types of traffic simulation games applied n students’ learning process and to know whether applying learning through traffic simulation games influences the disciplinary of preschool students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative study. The population is students aged 5-6 years old in TK Bhayangkari Kecamatan Gajahmungkur Semarang. The sample is 30 students of grade B of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 90 and 30 students of grade B of TK Kemala Bhayangkari 08. Types of games used in the learning through traffic simulation games are the basic rule of pedestrians, the basic rule of bikers, the introduction of traffic signs, information of how to use a helmet, and manners on vehicles. After treatment given to experiment group, it is found that there was an increase in children’s traffic disciplinary, the mean in experiment group was 103.87 and control group 72.87. the score gained by the experiment group showed a higher number than the control group with the difference of 31,0 and the counting score on post-test of 10.282 with sig (2tailed) 0,00<0,05 which means Hi is acceptable thus there was a significant influence on applying learning through traffic simulation games to increase child’s traffic disciplinary.How to citeEkapuspahati, H. & Nurwaniasih. Abstract

At the age of two to four  years of a  childs emotional characteristics emerged withoutbursts or temper tantrums. Temper tantrums are flare-ups occur suddenly, without planned. A method to overcome the childs temper tantrums is by using hypnoparenting. Hypnoparenting   infuse positive suggestion   into childs unconscious mind, so that the child have a positive personal that establishing a good pattern of behavior. This study aims to examine and obtain empirical data on the differences between the behavior of the child temper tantrums before and after havinghypnoparenting treatment. Hypothesis in this study is a difference between the behavior of the child temper tantrums before and after having the hypnoparenting treatment. In fact, tempertantrum still happens on the child above 4 years old.   i have apply the method of  hypnoparenting in handling childs tempertantrum above 4 years old. i have provide training of hypnoparenting to parents. The training held to teach a subjectmatter of hypnoparenting to the parents for a week. Thereafter, the parents apply hypnoparenting in  early childhood  for  21  days  and  the  teacher  help  me  to  observe  and  record  the tempertantrum behavior in the classroom before and after having hypnoparenting treatment. The number of subjects in this study is 33 childrens. They are four to six years old. The measurement scale in this study is Temper Tantrum Scale. Theresult of Paired Samples T-test shows that there is significant difference of the child’s tempertantrum behavior between before and after having hypnoparenting treatment, t = -5.611 with p = 0.00. This study explains that there is a difference in the behavior of  childs tempertantrum before and after having hypnoparenting treatment. The behavior of childs tempertantrum after having hypnoparenting treatment lower than before.
