Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, academic institutions have quickly turned all educational activities into an internet-assisted online system. This study aimed to gain experience in teaching and learning practices, especially online assessment systems in madrasah schools; opportunities and challenges. In his presentation, we looked at the impact of internet-based evaluation on student and teacher productivity as well as problems that arise when online learning was applied. To get the data, the researcher prioritized secondary data from the experience of implementing education in madrasas, including Islamic universities, then studied secondary data published in international journals. The data were collected ellectronically, then it was analysed, and reported. The researcher followed the system, coding, evaluating, and drawing conclusions until we found findings that contained the principles of validity and reliability. As a result, among others, online assessment in madrasas can be described as a system for evaluating student skills, Islamic behaviour, and student attitudes in thinking based on Islamic values. This assessment was carried out through the help of digital application connections by utilizing a perfunctory website which was currently still serious in various contexts and applications throughout the Islamic education environment. Thus, these findings was useful for activists of the inter-madrasah learning evaluation system and other Islamic educational institutions. Abstract

This article provided an anlytical description of the Muhammadiyah philanthropic movement to the Bajo community in Wakatobi. There were three important points hacked in this study, namely: (1). Why did Muhammadiyah choose the domain of education for its philatropical movement in the Bajo community? (2). what was the pattern of Muhammadiyah's educational philanthropic movement in the Bajo community? (3). what was the Bajo community's response to the Muhammadiyah-based pure Islamic education philanthropy movement? Data collection was done through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Analyzing data used hermeneutic phenomenology approach. The results showed that the choice of moving in the realm of education by the local Muhammadiyah community was due to the essence of the education movement as a fulcrum for determining the quality of human resources, on the other hand expensive quality education services made most Bajo children to choose to go to sea rather than go to school. The choice of educational philanthrophy by Muhammadiyah was also due to the psycho-social reality of local children who were suspected of "experiencing" an inferiority complex when they interacted with the mainland children's community. The philanthropic movement pattern implemented by the local Muhammadiyah community was based on the philanthropic social movement, namely to form awareness of the local community about the urgency of education for future life continuity by relying on a belief system or religious basis. The smart work of the Muhammadiyah community combined with the positive action approach made the pure Islamic idea could be transformed into the Bajo cultural space through education and teaching in a natural humanistic manner, without causing controversy. Abstract

Experts believe that the success of education is closely related to the existence of technology that is adopted into the learning process. The reseachers examined many scientific reports highlighting online learning approaches before the Covid-19 issue hit education to prove this belief. The researchers look for evidence of literature studies from international studies that have succeeded in sounding out educational operations by optimizing technology as a face-to-face companion learning method when students study in class. The data retrieval method is carried out with electronic assistance systems on databases of publication journals such as ERIC, Google Books, Taylor & France, and Sagepub. Next, reseachers analyzed the data using a review system that started with coding and in-depth evaluation techniques and concluded data findings that fairly and accurately answered the research questions. Based on the discussion of the data found, researchers report that online learning activities before the pandemic can help students become successful learners both in the classroom and outside of school. This is highly valid because of evidence from previous literature reviews where online learning is juxtaposed with successful blended learning approaches. Online learning helps students get additional self-study content. Because with online learning, students become more practical, enjoyable, personal, controlled, easy, efficient, focused, and measurable.
