Abstract

This study aimed to know the effectiveness of experiential learning strategy-based group counseling to improve the self-efficacy of the Tenth Grade students of Senior High School (SMA). This study used pre-test – post-test one group design by involving seven students as the sample to form a group chosen by using purposive sampling. For more, treatments for the group were done in the five times session through experiential learning strategy-based group counseling. The collected data from these treatments were analyzed by using Wilcoxson analysis. From the analysis, it was known that the experiential learning strategy-based group counseling was effective to improve self-efficacy (z = -2.366, p = < 0.05). These findings prove that experiential learning strategy-based group counseling is effective to improve students’ self-efficacy.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of solution focused groups on students' academic delays. This experimental study with a one group pretest-posttest design involved 9 students from Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University as participants in a solution focused group activity. Based on the results of the academic delay scale, it was found that 86.07% of students were in the medium category, 10.66% in the low category, 1.64% in the high category, and 0.82% in the very low category. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed that the solution focused group was significantly effective in reducing academic procrastination with the findings that the posttest results (M = 95.89, SD = 7.51) were lower than the pretest results (M = 142.67, SD = 4.42; Z = -2.666, p = 0.008 ). Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas solution focused group terhadap penundaan akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian eksperimen berdesain one group pretest-posttest ini melibatkan 9 mahasiswa Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri sebagai partisipan dalam kegiatan solution focused gruop. Berdasarkan hasil skala penundaan akademik didapatkan diketahui 86,07% mahasiswa dengan kategori sedang, kategori rendah 10,66%, kategori tinggi 1,64%, , dan kategori sangat rendah 0,82%. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa solution focused group secara signifikan efektif dalam mengurangi penundaan akademik dengan temuan hasil posttest (M = 95.89, SD= 7.51) lebih rendah dari hasil pretest (M= 142.67, SD= 4.42; Z =-2.666, p = 0.008).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of individual counseling using cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce students' verbal aggression. This research method is pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII (eight) MTs Islamiyah Malo in the 2022-2023 academic year. While the sample taken was 3 students with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection used verbal aggression instruments, observations and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the verbal aggression behavior of class VIII (eight) MTs Islamiyah Malo students before and after being given treatment with cognitive restructuring techniques is effective in reducing verbal aggression of DCP students 92% in the high category after being given to 66% in the moderate category, ACK students 79% in the high category after being given to 64% in the moderate category, AMA students 81% in the high category after being given to 61% in the moderate category. Data analysis based on the results of the paired sample t-test shows the sig value. (2 tables) of 0.020 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant difference, thus meaning that individual counseling services using the cognitive behavior therapy approach with cognitive restructuring techniques are effective in reducing verbal aggression of students at MTs Islamiyah Malo.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a career guidance module integrated with Islamic values and interactive multimedia to enhance students' career maturity. The research uses qualitative and quantitative data to follow the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. Quantitative data focuses on measuring students' career maturity before and after module implementation, while qualitative data is collected from expert evaluations and interviews with teachers and students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, involving vocational high school students and teachers in Bojonegoro. Data collection methods include interviews, expert questionnaires, and field trials. The results show that the module improves students' motivation, self-confidence, and awareness of career preparation. Islamic values embedded in the module also help students develop ethical and moral principles in their future work lives. Interactive media, such as simulations, videos, and animations, increase student engagement and understanding. However, the study is limited by its focus on vocational schools in Bojonegoro and the short duration of the field trials. Future research should expand the sample size and trial period to assess long-term effects better. Field trials significantly increased students' career maturity after using the module.

Abstract

Career planning is the process a person uses to choose a career goal and career path by adjusting their abilities and interests so that they can be successful in the chosen job. This planning is important so students can prepare themselves before entering the workforce. The focus of career planning is to ensure that students' career choices are following their potential so that there is no mismatch between the chosen career and the student's abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance through simulation game techniques in improving students' career planning at MA Al-Abror Sukosewu. This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 9 respondents as the experimental group. Treatment was given 8 times, each session lasting 90 minutes. The results showed increased career planning scores from an average of 139.2 (low criteria) to 188 (high criteria). This result is supported by the independent sample t-test with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is a significant difference in the level of career planning before and after treatment, which means that group guidance with simulation game techniques is effective in improving students' career planning at MA Al-Abror Sukosewu. ____________________________________________________________Perencanaan karir adalah proses yang digunakan seseorang untuk memilih tujuan karir dan jalur karir dengan telah menyesuaikan antara kemampuan dan minat diri sehingga mereka bisa sukses dalam pekerjaan yang dipilih. Perencanaan ini penting agar siswa bisa mempersiapkan diri sebelum terjun ke dunia kerja. Fokus dari perencanaan karir adalah memastikan pilihan karir siswa sesuai dengan potensi mereka, sehingga tidak ada ketidaksesuaian antara karir yang dipilih dan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik permainan simulasi dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa di MA Al-Abror Sukosewu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 9 responden sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Treatment diberikan sebanyak 8 kali dengan durasi 90 menit setiap sesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor perencanaan karir dari rata-rata 139,2 (kriteria rendah) menjadi 188 (kriteria tinggi). Hasil ini diperkuat oleh uji t-test independent sample dengan nilai sig (2 tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan tingkat perencanaan karir sebelum dan sesudah treatment, yang berarti bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan simulasi efektif untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa di MA Al-Abror Sukosewu.

Abstract

Academic stress is a psychological condition where students feel worried about academic failure. To overcome this, students can develop stress coping, be it problem focused coping or emotional stress coping. This study was conducted to provide an overview of the level of stress coping developed by students as well as the types of stress coping developed. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University students. The sample used in this research was 300 students. The instrument used in this study is a stress coping scale using the stress coping theory developed by Lazarus. The results show that students have moderate stress coping abilities. The type of stress coping that is most often used by both male and female students in dealing with academic stress is emotional focused coping. The forms of behavior used to overcome academic stress are distancing, confrontative coping, and seeking information support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan orientasi masa depan siswa SMA dan SMK di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan orientasi masa depan siswa. Semakin tinggi self-efficacy siswa, semakin baik orientasi masa depan yang dimilikinya, dan sebaliknya, semakin rendah self-efficacy, semakin rendah pula kecenderungan siswa dalam merencanakan kesuksesan masa depannya. Pada variabel self-efficacy, dimensi strength menunjukkan hubungan positif tertinggi dengan orientasi masa depan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa keyakinan siswa terhadap kemampuannya merupakan faktor dominan dalam membentuk orientasi masa depan. Siswa dengan keyakinan diri yang tinggi cenderung memiliki gambaran masa depan yang lebih jelas dan optimis. Sementara itu, pada variabel orientasi masa depan, dimensi perencanaan memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan self-efficacy, yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mampu merencanakan masa depan dengan baik cenderung memiliki keyakinan yang lebih tinggi terhadap kemampuannya. Hasil analisis menggunakan Pearson Correlation menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,741 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa hubungan antara self-efficacy dan orientasi masa depan bersifat signifikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa self-efficacy berperan penting dalam membentuk orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah menengah di Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Background: Prokrastinasi akademik bermakna perilaku menunda-nunda dalam penyelesaian tugas belajar yang dapat menghambat perkembangan dan prestasi akademik siswa. Kondisi ini banyak ditemukan pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama, yang umumnya belum memiliki keterampilan manajemen diri yang baik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola waktu, tanggung jawab, dan tugas akademik melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan pendekatan teknik self-management. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di SMP Plus Al Amanah Bojonegoro dengan melibatkan siswa sebagai peserta utama. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi tingkat prokrastinasi awal, pelatihan teknik self-management secara kelompok, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan melalui instrumen pretest dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam merencanakan, memantau, dan mengevaluasi perilaku akademiknya secara mandiri. Selain itu, siswa juga mengalami peningkatan motivasi belajar, disiplin, dan sikap positif terhadap tugas sekolah. Rata-rata nilai pretes sebesar 39,85 pada klasifikasi tinggi menjadi rata-rata setelah diberikan pelatihan (Posttest) sebesar 25,3 pada klasifikasi rendah, dengan nilai penurunan 14,55 poin. Kesimpulan Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif sebagai strategi preventif untuk menurunkan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik dan dapat direplikasi oleh guru BK sebagai bagian dari layanan pengembangan diri siswa di sekolah.
