Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of preliminary research, which shows the level of optimism of the students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mathla'ul Anwar University Banten batch 2018 of 35.6% who are in the medium category, 30% of students are pessimistic, and 3.3% of students are people who very pessimistic. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of the play technique treatment model in increasing the level of optimism. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using a non-parametric test. Treatment was carried out with One Group Pretest-Posttest Experimental Design. The results showed that the results of the pretest and posttest scores decreased. This proves that the playing technique is effective in increasing the level of student optimism. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang menunjukkan tingkat optimisme mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mathla'ul Anwar Banten angkatan 2018 sebesar 35,6% yang berada pada kategori sedang, 30% mahasiswa pesimis, dan 3,3% siswa adalah orang yang sangat pesimis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan keefektifan model perlakuan teknik bermain dalam meningkatkan tingkat optimisme. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji non parametrik. Treatment dilakukan dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Experimental Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil skor pretest dan posttest mengalami penurunan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa teknik bermain efektif untuk meningkatkan tingkat optimisme mahasiswa.

Abstract

The background of this study is the fact of less self-monitoring ability optimalization among adolescents, and as a result the lack of self-awareness among adolescents. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of transactional analysis in counseling approach to develop adolescent’s self-awareness. This study uses quasi experiment with non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group design. Population of this study are 20 students of class 11th in SMA Negeri 2 Ogan Ogan Ulu (OKU) grouped in the experimental group (10 students) and control group (10 students). Data were analyzed using non-parametric statistic with Mann Whitney or U-test. As a result of this study, the self-awareness profile picture in 11th grade students of senior high school in OKU has categorized in intermediate level, the design of transactional analysis counseling intervention, and transactional analysis counseling is effective to improve students’ self-awareness. Recommendation based on research for guidance and counseling teacher is to apply the procedure of transactional analysis counseling by using structural technique with aim to develop self-awareness of students, and next researcher is for exploration toward one of techniques in transactional analysis counseling to facilitate all indicators, aspects, and self-awareness dimention.

Abstract

OPTIMIZING READING INTEREST IN CHILDREN OF MEDALSARI VILLAGE DURING THE PANDEMIC THROUGH STORYTELLING. This study aims to (1) Attach the implementation reading method to storytelling students’ interesting in reading at Desa Medalsari when pandemic era, (2) attach to happiness, joy and comfort in fostering reader and listener when reading the book and storytelling. The type of research used is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive research design. This research uses interview, observation and documentation. The object of research is elementary students to leaving at Desa Medalsari. The research showed that students is very interesting and admit that grow up storytelling to help reading interest. The results showed that: (1) the goal of storytelling to make easier the students got the information from the speaker how to read a book from storytelling well. (2) Factors supporting the implementation of reading angles include: the role of the parents who do not provide reading habit, students are not fluent in reading, damaged book. (3) The advantages are the children get the experience of the interesting story. (4) The children will know books and start loving to read books.

Abstract

STRENGTHENING THE EXAMPLE OF R.A. KARTINI TOWARDS STUDENTS BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THE DISSEMINATION OF GREAT WOMEN INSPIRATIONAL TALKS MATHLA'UL ANWAR. This community service activity aims to provide empowerment to Mathla'ul Anwar University students based on the results of the dissemination of the Mathla'ul Anwar Inspirational Talk activity for Great Women. This activity was held to coincide on April 21, 2021 with the target of students residing in the Mathla'ul Anwar University environment from various majors or study programs. The holding of the Mathla'ul Anwar Inspirational Talk event was a form of appreciation for the role and struggle of Raden Ajeng Kartini in advancing the nation, especially for women whose roles were still limited at that time. By raising the theme of strengthening R.A Kartini's exemplary attitude, it is hoped that R.A Kartini's exemplary attitudes and traits can be transmitted to Indonesian women, especially women in Mathla'ul Anwar University. Through his fighting spirit and attitude, the figure of R.A Kartini can be an inspiration and able to awaken the younger generation to join the spirit and become a creative person.

Abstract

EXISTENTIAL GROUP COUNSELING TO IMPROVE SENSE OF SCHOOL BELONGING IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS IN YOGYAKARTA CITY. The aim of this study was to develop existential group conseling model to increase sense of belonging vocational school stundents in Yogyakarta. The development of group counseling models using an existential approach is one alternative that can be used to improve the sense of school belonging. The type of research used is Research and Development model that developed by Borg and Gall. The research subjects were students of State Vocational Schools in Yogyakarta who had low sense of school belonging. Data collection techniques using the sense of school belonging scale adapted from The Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) Scale, developed by Carol Goodenow. Through testing the model, it is known that the average posttest score has increased from 42.75 to 52.75, meaning that the average value of students' sense of school belonging has changed by 10. As for the minimum value, the pretest scores obtained the minimum student is 34.00 in the low category, experiencing a change in grades when the post-test becomes 42.00 in the medium category, meaning that there are no students in the low category. For the maximum score, which in the pretest the maximum value of the students is 47.00 in the medium category, it changes in the score at the post test to be 65.00 in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tingkat kemampuan perencanaan karir mahasiswa Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kemampuan perencanaan karir yang telah dikembangkan dengan 63 item pernyataan. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Bimbingan Konseling Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten yang berjumlah 30 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 60% mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan perencanaan karir sangat tinggi, dan 40% mahasiswa memilki kemampuan perencanaan karir pada kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan peneliti untuk merancang program yang dapat mahasiswa mengembangkan kemampuan perencanaan karir mahasiswa lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu modal bagi peserta didik dimasa depan dalam beradaptasi dengan pesatnya perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) yang saat ini dirasakan sangat memberikan kontribusi dalam setiap aspek kehidupan manusia terutama dalam dunia pendidikan dan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen,dan bertujuan untuk menguji tingkat efektivitas bimbingan klasikal berbasis online untuk meningkatkan HOTS. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian in adalah angket HOTS yang memiliki 44 item pernyataan. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 125 orang, dan sampelnya berjumlah 60 orang peserta didik. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XII MAN 2 Pandeglang tahun ajaran 2021-2022 mayoritas berada pada kategori sedang atau Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa bimbingan klasikal berbasis online efektif untuk meningkatkan HOTS peserta didik kelas XII MAN 2 Pandeglang. Efektivitas ini dilihat dari skor Mann Whitney U Test diperoleh Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05 serta skor mean rank dari post-test kelompok eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the optimism scale of 2017 Guidance and Counseling Study Program students at the University of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The instrument that uses to get the data is student optimism scale form. The research subjects were 156 students of Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta Guidance and Counseling Study Program. This study used descriptive statistics with percentage techniques for the data analysis. The results showed that 11.54% of students had optimism in the high category, 88.46% of students in the medium category, and 0% of students in the low category. The research results are used by lecturers and university counselors to design programs in order to facilitate students to develop optimism

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tingkat optimisme mahasiswa  Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten Angkatan Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes optimism yang telah dikembangkan oleh Selligman dengan 48 item. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten Angkatan 2018 yang berjumlah 90 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 5,6% mahasiswa berada pada kategori sangat optimis, 15,6% mahasiswa memilki optimism yang cukup, 35,6% mahasiswa berada dalam kategori rata-rata, 30% mahasiswa merupakan pribadi yang cukup pesimis, dan 13,3% mahasiswa merupakan mahasiswa yang sangat pesimis. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan peneliti untuk merancang program yang dapat mahasiswa mengembangkan optimismenya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan bullying didunia pendidikan indonesia yang masih terus saja terjadi, hampir disetiap tingkatan mengalami permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan bullying. Tujuan pengabdian ini yakni untuk meningkatan kualitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling, melatih guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam mengembangkan media bimbingan dan konseling bebasis teknologi informasi digital, Kesadaran siswa terhadap dampak bullying, menciptakan kondisi lingkungan pendidikan dan/atau sekolah yang kondusif , dan Optimalisai peran civitas akademika dalam mengentaskan bullying. Pelaksanaan seminar dan sosialisasi dilaksanakan secara blended learning selanjutnya dilakukan intervensi atau treatment dalam bentuk layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang sejumlah 364 siswa. Melalui metode observasi atau pengamatan pada 4 orang guru Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang program kegiatan ini menghasilkan capaian dalam pemahaman konsep media sebesar 100%, kreatitas dalam pengembangan media sebesar 78%, keterampilan penggunaan media sebesar 71% relevansi materi dan media sebesar 92%, serta diskusi dan refleksi sebesar 93%. Sedangkan pada tingkay pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa terhadap dampak bullying diperoleh capaian dan gambaran umum terhadap beberapa aspek seperti pengamatan umum siswa sebesar 91%, interaksi sosial siswa sebesar 83%, partisipasi siswa dalam diskusi siswa sebesar 87%, penggunaan istilah dan kosa kata siswa sebesar 84%, respon terhadap studi kasus siswa sebesar 96%, dan refleksi pribadi siswa sebesar 91%.Abstract: This service program is motivated by the problem of bullying in Indonesian education, which continues to occur at almost every level. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services, train guidance and counseling teachers in developing digital information technology-based guidance and counseling media, raise student awareness of the impact of bullying, create conducive educational and/or school environment conditions, and optimize the role of the academic community in alleviating bullying. The implementation of seminars and socialization was conducted through blended learning, and then intervention or treatment was conducted in the form of guidance and counseling services for 364 students at SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. Through the observation method or observation of 4 guidance and counseling teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang, this activity program resulted in achievements in understanding media concepts of 100%, creativity in media development of 78%, media use skills of 71%, material and media relevance of 92%, as well as discussion and reflection of 93%. Meanwhile, at the level of students' understanding and awareness of the impact of bullying, achievements and general descriptions of several aspects such as students' general observations were 91%, students' social interactions were 83%, students' participation in student discussions was 87%, students' use of terms and vocabulary was 84%, responses to student case studies were 96%, and student personal reflections were 91%.
