Abstract

East Nusa Tenggara Province is one of the tourist destination areas, one of its prima donnas is Komodo Island which was included in the list of The New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2012. But not only that, there are still many stunning tourist destinations. Kupang City is the main destination before accessing the natural beauty of the East Nusa Tenggara region. In the Kupang City and the Regency of Kupang itself holds many tourist destinations, but the terms of promotion that are still catalog and social media are deemed inadequate. High cost of catalog production and data costs for accessing social media are not cheap either. But by using a router and access point, it is expected that these costs can be eliminated. The router is used to create a hotspot login page. The login page can be modified into a digital catalog (website page) while the Access Point is used to distribute catalog. Hotspots can be accessed free of charge by tourist attractions. Digital catalog can be changed according to the development of tourist attractions. This digital catalog also provides alternative tourism in the Kupang City and other areas in East Nusa Tenggara Province

Abstract

Motorcycles with automatic systems are currently the type of vehicle that are most interested by many riders because they are economical and comfortable. Automatic motorcycles, which are more fuel efficient, seem to be the most desired vehicle by the community today, in 2014 the number of motorcycles in Kupang City was 125,574 and in 2015 there were 139,033 of which were automatic motorcycles. So that intensive care is needed on automatic motorbikes, with intensive care it will make automatic motorbikes more comfortable when riding. Aurora Motor is one of the motorcycle repair shops in Kupang City. In addition to providing service and maintenance services for two-wheeled vehicles, Aurora Motor also sells various kinds of motorcycle parts. The average number of customers who come reaches ± 15 customers per day, which consists of various types of motorcycles with different weights. Currently, the problem at the aurora motorcycle workshop is that there is no system that can quickly identify the damage that occurs to the motorcycle, resulting in the slow process of repairing the motorcycle. it can be concluded that this application has fulfilled its main purpose, which is an application that can help mechanics at aurora motorbike workshops to determine each level of damage and maintenance on a Honda matic motorbike. This application is able to determine the level of maintenance and damage with forward chaining.

Abstract

This study will discuss the use of the Complementary Filter method in hardware development that use gyroscope and accelerometer sensors, in order to see the ability of the sensor to read movement and assess how effective it is when used under movements with varying levels of aggressiveness. The complementary filter is a method that as the name suggests is to filter input data taken from the gyroscope and accelerometer sensors, this method is able to take data from both sensors and combine them into a single data that is more accurate by ignoring the shortcomings and using the advantages of each sensors The device that will be used is the MPU6050 GY521, this is a device that has both the two sensors on a single PCB so it is easier and more efficient to use, it has 3 axes meaning that this device can read motion in 3-dimensional space, the microcontroller used is a a variant of Arduino with an ATmega processor. After doing the test it was found that the use of the complementary filter method will greatly help the accuracy of the data because the filtered data contains very small noise with a significant difference when compared to raw data without using the filtering method, but because delay still can happens, wich cannot be helped by using this filtering method, this device can only be used with certain levels of movement

Abstract

Abstrak - Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, peternakan ayam membutuhkan solusi otomatis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem kendali kandang ayam otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler yang dapat mengatur pintu, tempat makan, suhu, dan kelembaban dalam kandang. Sistem ini memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (IOT) dan sensor untuk memantau kondisi kandang secara real-time, sehingga meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kesejahteraan hewan. Sistem otomatis ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi beban kerja manual peternak, memperbaiki pengelolaan pakan, serta menjaga suhu dan kelembaban yang optimal sesuai dengan fase pertumbuhan ayam. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan teknologi mikrokontroler dalam aplikasi peternakan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, menekan biaya, dan meningkatkan hasil produksi peternakan ayam secara keseluruhan. Sistem ini akan diuji pada skala kecil untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas dan performanya dalam lingkungan yang terkendali.Kata kunci: Ayam; IoT; Mikrokontroler; Otomatis; Suhu; Abstract - Along with the development of technology, chicken farms need automated solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. This research aims to design and develop a microcontroller-based automatic chicken coop control system that can regulate doors, feeders, temperature, and humidity in the coop. This system utilizes Internet of Things (IOT) technology and sensors to monitor cage conditions in real-time, thereby improving animal comfort and welfare. This automated system is expected to reduce the manual workload of farmers, improve feed management, and maintain optimal temperature and humidity according to the growth phase of chickens. This research also aims to contribute to the development of microcontroller technology in livestock farming applications, which is expected to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase the overall production yield of chicken farms. The system will be tested on a small scale to evaluate its effectiveness and performance in a controlled environment.Keywords: Automatic; Chicken; IoT; Microcontroller; Temperature;

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a ferry ticket booking application integrated with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) based on a Telegram bot. The application is expected to facilitate customers in booking ferry tickets online and enable companies to manage customer relationships more effectively. The research method used is the waterfall method, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This application will be built using the Python programming language and the Telegram Bot API library for bot development. The main features of this application include ticket booking, customer data management, ferry data management, and two-way communication between customers and the company via the Telegram bot.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has increased the need for data security and confidentiality in digital information exchange. Various threats, such as eavesdropping, data theft, and information manipulation, require effective security methods capable of protecting message content without attracting unauthorized attention. One of the techniques used to address this issue is steganography, which conceals secret information within digital media so that the existence of the message remains undetectable. This study aims to implement the Least Significant Bit (LSB) method on digital facial images as a medium for embedding secret messages and to evaluate the quality of the resulting stego images. The system was developed using the Python programming language with a Tkinter-based graphical user interface to facilitate the processes of message embedding and extraction. Prior to embedding, the secret message was secured using an XOR encryption operation with a specific key. The embedding process was performed by modifying the least significant bits of image pixels, resulting in minimal visual distortion. Experimental results indicate that the LSB method successfully conceals secret messages while maintaining the visual quality of the cover image. The evaluation produced low Mean Squared Error (MSE) values and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) values exceeding 85 dB, indicating a very high similarity between the original and stego images. Furthermore, the hidden message could be accurately extracted using the correct key, provided that the image had not undergone compression or manipulation. Therefore, the LSB-based steganography approach on digital facial images is proven to be an effective method for enhancing information security and confidentiality.

Abstract

Hama serangga seperti nyamuk, lalat, kecoak, dan tikus merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius karena dapat menjadi perantara penyebaran berbagai penyakit. Penggunaan insektisida sebagai metode pengendalian hama memiliki dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas frekuensi ultrasonik dalam mengusir hama serangga menggunakan pendekatan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem yang diusulkan memanfaatkan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai mikrokontroler utama, Signal Generator AD9833 untuk menghasilkan frekuensi ultrasonik dalam rentang 20 kHz hingga 50 kHz, dan Speaker Piezo sebagai pemancar gelombang, yang dikontrol melalui aplikasi Blynk. Pengujian akan dilakukan dengan mengamati respons hama terhadap berbagai rentang frekuensi serta faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pancaran ultrasonik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan dalam pengendalian hama dan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi IoT untuk aplikasi kesehatan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penurunan kualitas udara akibat aktivitas pasar menjadi perhatian utama dalam upaya menjaga kesehatan masyarakat dan lingkungan. Pasar Kasih Naikoten sebagai salah satu pusat aktivitas ekonomi di Kota Kupang berpotensi menghasilkan emisi gas seperti karbon monoksida (CO), Amonia (NH3) dan Metana (CH4) yang dapat mencemari udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring kualitas udara berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor gas. Sistem ini memanfaatkan NodeMCU ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroler yang menghubungkan berbagai sensor, seperti MQ-135, MQ-7, MQ-2 dan DHT22 untuk mendeteksi suhu dan polutan udara secara real-time. Data yang dikumpulkan dikirim ke Bot Telegram untuk pemantauan jarak jauh. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu PD. Pasar Kota Kupang dalam memantau emisi gas dan mengambil langkah mitigasi yang tepat. Dengan sistem ini, pengelolaan kualitas udara dapat dilakukan lebih efektif dan efisien guna memenuhi standar lingkungan yang ditetapkan pemerintah serta meminimalkan dampak negatif terhadap masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

The radio frequency spectrum is a finite resource that plays a crucial role in supporting communication systems, particularly in the aviation sector. Unauthorized use and signal interference within this spectrum can pose serious threats to flight safety. This study aims to develop a classification system for aviation radio signals using machine learning algorithms, namely Random Forest and Support Vector Machine. The dataset consists of tabular monitoring data with two main features: frequency and signal power level. The research process includes data preprocessing, model training, validation through K-Fold Cross Validation, and performance evaluation based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Testing was carried out under both simulated and real-world conditions using Software Defined Radio (SDR) equipment. Results indicate that the Random Forest model achieved more consistent performance, with an accuracy of 79.77% and balanced F1-scores across both classes. Additionally, the system was found to be user-friendly and responsive, especially for non-technical operators, thanks to its intuitive visual interface. This research contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of aviation spectrum monitoring and offers potential for future integration with real-time detection systems

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan perangkat elektronik terhubung dan berkomunikasi secara otomatis melalui jaringan internet. Perkembangan IoT telah menghadirkan berbagai kemudahan dalam otomatisasi dan efisiensi di berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam sistem smart home. Salah satu implementasinya adalah stop kontak pintar berbasis IoT, yang memungkinkan pengguna mengontrol perangkat listrik dari jarak jauh melalui aplikasi atau perintah suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang stop kontak pintar berbasis IoT yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pengoperasian perangkat elektronik. Stop kontak ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pemantauan konsumsi daya secara real time, pengaturan jadwal operasional, serta sistem keamanan yang melindungi perangkat dari risiko korsleting atau penggunaan berlebih. Namun, tantangan utama dalam penerapan IoT adalah risiko keamanan, seperti serangan siber dan kebocoran data. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini juga membahas penerapan enkripsi data, autentikasi pengguna, serta mekanisme perlindungan jaringan untuk meningkatkan keamanan sistem. Dengan penerapan teknologi ini, diharapkan stop kontak cerdas berbasis IoT dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mendukung efisiensi energi serta meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keamanan pengguna di lingkungan smart home.
